Hi guys! I decided to do a Marvel/Breath of the Wild fanfic, and I feel somewhat inexperienced.. So, I feel that I should date this just after the events of BotW, and as Loki is in Germany in The Avengers. If you're interested, read on! (Oh, I'm also reading the script online, to keep them in character.)

Nick Fury POV

"I want all agents searching for Loki. If we don't find that troublemaker soon-" He paced, but was cut off by a shout from across the room.

"We got a hit. Sixty-seven percent match. Weight, cross match, seventy-nine percent." An agent called.

"Thank you, Agent Sitwell." Fury replied. "Location?" Coulson asked. " Stuttgart, Germany. 28, Konigstrasse. He's... not exactly hiding."

"Buckle up boys, we're headed to Germany!" Stark exclaimed. "Cap, you're up." Nick watched Steve nod.

Stuttgart, Germany. 18:00, Avengers positioned.

"Director Fury." Agent Hill murmured. "There's an intruder in Stuttgart. Two buildings to the left of Cap. They could be backup for Loki."

"Tony." the Director pressed his earpiece. "Yeah, sir?" Fury ignored the jibe and continued. "Stark, this is a serious matter. There's a figure precisely two buildings to the north of Cap. I believe that they may be backup for Loki. Take them out." "Roger that." Tony said in an annoyingly high pitched voice.

Tony POV

"Jarvis, activate stealth mode." Tony flew as quietly towards the figure as he could. "Sir, I'm afraid that you haven't programmed a stealth mode into the suit." Jarvis informed him. "Put that on my checklist."

The figure was silent as Tony approached, and he could almost make out the person's looks. Somewhat vertically challenged, and, from what he could see, shadowed in a dark cloak.

The person turned, withdrawing an object from underneath the cloak in one, smooth motion. Before Tony knew what was going on, a boomerang hit his suit in the face. "Aah!" He leapt back, hovering for a moment before diving back in.

"Are you an enemy?" Tony called, his voice somewhat robotic through the suit's mechanisms. "Have you sided with Loki?" The figure held the boomerang, then the figure, Tony assumed it was male, due to the change of lighting in the moment that they put away the weapon. Tony assumed that the short fight was over. Horrible assumption.

The boy pulled out a sword, glowing blue, accompanied by a shield. He took a battle ready stance, though Tony could tell that it was out of self defense. "I'm not going to hurt you, kid. I just want to know what you're here for." The kid's defensive stance neutralized, and he put his weapons away.

"I'm here to stop their plans." He stated simply. "Whose plans?" Tony asked. "The Yiga's." "We'll talk about this later. Can you get on that jet over there?" The boy nodded.

Cap had tripped Loki up, though illusions began to appear. "The guy's all over the place." Nat murmured through the headset. "Jarvis, play AC/DC's Shoot to Thrill through the Quinjet's speakers." "Yes sir." Tony flew by the Quinjet, and called out, "Agent Romanoff, didja miss me?" he blasted Loki to the ground, and landed, showing his suit's weapons. "Make your move, Reindeer Games."

Loki's armour materialized, giving Tony an uneasy feeling about Loki materializing a weapon while in the helicarrier. He shrugged it off. "Good move." He stated, hiding his concerns. "Mr. Stark." Steve said with a nod. "Captain." Tony returned the gesture.

"Tony, you have some explaining to do." Natasha's voice came in through the earpiece, dangerously calm. "Oh crap." He muttered, flying to the jet.

Link POV

Link gazed out at the sunset over the land of Hyrule. Epona nuzzled his shoulder, begging for another apple. He reached up and pet her chestnut coat. All had been peaceful since he and Zelda had defeated Calamity Ganon; Hyrule castle was almost finished, settlements were being built, and the Blood moon was coming less and less.

Hyrule had risen from the ashes like a phoenix. He felt the sun's warmth slowly fade from Hateno Village. Link could hear parents calling for their children in the fading light. They knew that the monsters were gone for the time being, but he supposed it was out of habit.

Link walked to the corral where he kept Epona at night and whistled for her, long and clear. She ran forward, stepping carefully into the corral, turning and nudging the small gate that he used to discourage thieves.

"Good night, Epona." He whispered, setting an apple on the ledge for her. She whinnied softly and nuzzled him again. Link smiled and went inside, the lanterns glowing invitingly and giving the interior a cozy look. He blew out the downstairs candle, and walked up the stairs, looking out the window at the full moon rising off in the distance.

He was transfixed, staring at the light emanating off of the moon, then his gaze turned to shock as the moon began to turn blood red.

Link could hear echoes of what Zelda had said, over the course of those few months before he had freed her, at the blood moon. "Link.. the Blood Moon rises once again. Please be careful, Link…" Ganon's malice had been cleared from the Guardians and the palace, so they would no longer rise.

But just because the malice and Guardians didn't rise… The Yiga. Hadn't Impa and Purah mentioned that now, with the Calamity gone, they would be doubling their efforts to recruit Hylians to replace the warriors that they had lost.

He remembered the last Blademaster he had fought, and the few words the man had said. "You.. won't be.." The Blademaster had coughed up blood, "able to stop us soon… You'll have to travel far, and you won't be willing to leave… your precious princess on her own… to the Yiga's blade." Link could still see the Blademaster's pale face, red eyes, and white hair, uncovered by the strike he had made to the mask. Then, he could see the Yiga explode into the white smoke and tassels.

He broke out of his short trance and whirled around. He didn't remember tassels at the end of that battle. The Blademaster had exploded into violet and black smoke. A Blademaster and two Footsoldiers were standing behind him. He withdrew the Master Sword, and held the Hylian Shield in front of him defensively.

The first Footsoldier teleported to Link's left, and he parried the thrust with his shield while stabbing the other Footsoldier. The Blademaster raised his windcleaver and blew a gust of wind towards him, which Link dodged while slicing a Footsoldier across the chest. The Footsoldier retreated with a puff of white smoke.

As Link parried the Blademaster's next strike, the remaining Footsoldier managed to give him a quick slice to the side. Link turned and finished the Footsoldier off, then focused on the Blademaster. He parried a thrust, and returned a quick stab. The footsoldier was at three quarters of his health. All Link had to do was find an opportunity for a Flurry Rush and he would be rid of the Yiga. But as he thought that, the Blademaster conjured up his portal and vanished.

I'm leaving for the Castle in the morning. He thought. I need to tell Zelda about this new… adjustment in the Yiga's tactics. But… Sleep first. He was weary from travelling all day, from village to village, making sure that no monsters had been reported, though with the recent Blood Moon, he couldn't be too sure.

He treated the wound quickly, then kicked off his boots and laid down in bed, blowing out the candle of the lantern, and quickly fell into a deep, dreamless sleep.

Zelda POV

Zelda couldn't sleep. Her dreams had been plagued with visions of a tall man with raven hair and forest eyes holding a blue stone, bringing back the malice and allowing Calamity Ganon to rise again, and chaos descending upon Hyrule once more. She glanced out of her window, desperately wishing that her Father were still living so she could tell him what had been plaguing her mind.

The thought of her Father brought her to tears. "Oh, Father!" She cried out, her voice softly echoing throughout the stonework of her room. How long had it been since she had let her tears run?

"We weren't on good terms before you died.." she sobbed, keeping her tears quiet. "Has this caused you to wander the lands as a restless spirit? If you were here, I know that I would be telling you of my visions. Father, I see the kingdom of Hyrule in ruin, due to a man of great power." She sniffed, "I see fear and chaos as the only ruling factor, and a lust for power. What should I do?" The tears were running freely now, creating a small puddle on her desk. She could barely see her reflection in it, though it wasn't her. It was Hylia.

"My descendent, You worry for your kingdom, and for your subjects. I felt the same way when Demise tried to seize the power of the Triforce in the beginning." The golden goddess' voice echoed in Zelda's head. "The Yiga are all you must worry about in Hyrule. But I see the other worlds. The man in your visions is planning on ruling one, then moving on to the next. I can sense when someone leaves my realm. The Yiga have become frequent visitors to this new world."

"What must I do?" Zelda asked. "This world has Champions of their own. Hyrule's new Champions are still in training but our Hero. My advice would be to send Link, if you are comfortable with this course of action, though you may want to speak with Nayru before choosing this course of action."

Zelda nodded. "I will head to the Spring of Courage in the morning." Hylia smiled, then Zelda's reflection was her own, her tears glinting in the red light. Zelda looked through the window, a Blood Moon at its peak. She sighed, and headed to bed. While she slept, Hylia informed her further of the Earth, as it was called, organizations akin to the Yiga Clan, and their Champions. The night felt long, but within what seemed like moments, it was over.

"Link, I need to speak to you about something." Zelda looked at her quiet knight. "Yes?" He inquired. "I've… been having visions lately. Hyrule falling into ruin, and a man taking control with a tesseract shaped object. Hylia told me to get Nayru's advice before continuing."

"So that's why we're headed to the Spring of Wisdom." Zelda nodded. "I believe that the advice she will give me might include sending you to another world. If it came to that, would you do it?" Link mocked a salute. "Yes, Princess Zelda." "You, of all people, shouldn't have to call me that." She murmured. She leaned forward and stroked her horse's mane.

"There's a Lynel." Link whispered, pulling Epona to a silent stop. He handed Zelda's horse an apple, and slowly pulled it to a stop. Zelda watched as Link walked forward, completely silent. As Zelda held her breath, watching the Lynel walk around the clearing, then, with a flash of red, the monster vanished.

She immediately saw the culprits. A group of Yiga clan members. Mainly Footsoldiers, but a Blademaster was keeping them in check, though one Footsoldier seemed to be of a higher rank than the others. S/he wasn't helping, and held a windcleaver rather than a sickle or Demon carver.

Link came back to her, making a few hand gestures to speak to her in silence. We wait until they leave. Then we'll ascend the promenade. Zelda nodded in silence, and after a few minutes of suspenseful waiting, Link motioned that the Yiga were gone.

They ascended the promenade, donning Lizalfos masks when necessary, and eventually made it to the Spring of Wisdom. Zelda waded into the water, and knelt before the statue. After a short prayer, she heard Nayru's voice echo through the ice.

"Princess Zelda, bearer of the Triforce of Wisdom. Why have you summoned me?" "I humbly request your advice. Without it, Hyrule may fall." "I see. Hylia has informed me of your plight. I suggest that you enter the Yiga Clan hideout. Be silent. Once you reach the quarters of Master Kohga, head to the farthest edge of the room. They have a door. Enter, but with utmost caution. It will take you to the other world."

Zelda inwardly sighed. Quests from deities were never easy. "Should I tell Link of the visions?" "No. He is strong on many fronts, though he may work himself down to the bone if he knew the struggles Hyrule may face without his help in the other world." Zelda glanced at Link, but realized that she was in a room with clear walls. He could not hear her. "Thank you, your grace."

Link POV

"I have received word from her Grace, Nayru, that we should go to the Yiga hideout. Hylia told me of an organization called Hydra in a dream last night." Link winced at the way she said 'Hydra'. Zelda usually reserved that tone for Calamity Ganon. "Apparently, this other world, Earth, has a group of their own Champions."

Link nodded slowly, unsure of what to say. "They may be trading interdimensionally with the Yiga, which could explain the Lynel capturing. Although the Earthen Champions must have other problems on their hands, or they most likely would have noticed this before. Link, we have to find their gateway. Are you willing to continue alone?"

Link was thankful that Farore's gift was Courage, or he might've shook his head no, but his heart would give him a guilty conscience if he did, so he nodded vigorously. "Yes, your Majesty." His heart pounded, as he accepted the challenge. Zelda handed him the Sheikah Slate.

"What's this for?" He asked, concerned that she thought something was going to happen to her. "I wrote down the information, and took photos of the writing. Don't Accidentally delete them. They have crucial information on there." Link nodded. "Are you ready to head for the hideout?" Zelda bit her lip, obviously concerned. "They won't see it coming." He grinned as his outfit switched to the Sheikah Stealth suit.

-Later-

He knelt down in the rafters of the main room. Holding some Mighty Bananas, he threw them to the ground the farthest he could get them, but close enough to the Blademaster that the man would see them. The high ranking warrior gave a soft cry of delight, then glanced around to make sure no one was looking. Link didn't wait to see what happened next. He paraglided to the ground and ran through the gate.

He reached the last room with ease, using magnesis to open the door. As Link stepped into the room, he knew immediately that something had changed since he had last been here. There were less talismans and banners hanging around the room, and the hole was fenced off, with a plaque on it, memorializing Kohga and his, uh… heroic death. Link couldn't waste any time with this, so he headed for the door.

He opened the door, his outfit changing to normal. Beginning the long, arduous walk to the end of the long hallway, Link slid the Sheikah Slate off of his belt, and began to read Zelda's writing.

Wooie! That chapter was long! Well, I hope you liked it, and I want to let you know that I'm continuing this backstory in the next update. If you really liked it or noticed a few glitches in my lore, leave a review! Helpful criticism is welcome, just no cussing or being overly harsh. Thank you for reading, and seeya in the next Chapter!

P.s. I'm not supposed to add notes and interrupt the flow of the story, so I'm letting you know that in Link's POV, it's building up to the point where he meets the Avengers. I'll continue it after Christmas.
