The scene panned into a view of the Dock of Shame from the perspective of a nearby beach. Two birds were fluttering around, playing with each other as Chris started to narrate the scene.

"Ahh, morning in Muskoka. The birds chirping, the loon calling." The camera quickly switched over to said loon, peacefully floating in the lake, calling out into the wilderness. "The majestic, beautiful sounds of northern Ontario." The camera panned over the island, showing it in its full glory. Everything looked peaceful… that is until the familiar roar of a chainsaw filled the area, and our host-with-the-most, Chris McLean popped up onto screen wearing a party hat.

"Welcome! To the most thrilling and dramatic episode yet!" Chris exclaimed, blowing on a purple party noisemaker.

The scene then flashed to Chris leaning up against the totem pole. "It's been a long eight weeks at Camp Wawanakwa, and Total Drama Island is about to come to an end."

The scene flashed again to Chris now standing on the roof of the Mess Hall. "Today, two campers remain. By sundown only one will be left standing.

The scene flashed once more, and Chris was at the campfire pit. "That camper will go home with a check for $100,000. Who will it be?"

The scene flashed to a shot of Blake from the talent show episode with her act of her creating a sculpture with her chainsaw. "Badass, chainsaw obsessed Blake?"

The scene then flashed to a shot of Danny from 'Wawanakwa Gone Wild' where he sat smugly, enjoying the dinner he won. "Or instead will it go to the scheming fake nice guy Danny?"

The scene flashed on last time to Chris on the Dock of Shame. "Go grab a snack, go have a pee break if you have to. Go sit your butt down and get ready for the totally dramatic conclusion of Total! Drama! Island!"

~~~Theme Song~~~
The scene panned back in, with Chris sitting on one of the stumps at the campfire pit.
"Welcome back!" He told the camera. "We asked our finalists to record their thoughts in our confessional booth before going into the final round.
Confessional Blake
"What was it like?" Blake asked the camera. Scenes played of her jumping off the cliff in the second episode, to her cheering after Boomer got eliminated, to finally her hooking up with Katrina. "It wasn't too bad if I say so myself. It coulda been way worse."
End Confessional
Confessional Danny
"How was my time here?" Danny asked. Scenes then played of him getting hit in the face with a dodgeball, getting punched in the face by Blake in 'Hook, Line, and Screamer', and finally a shot from when he got snagged by the rope in Wawanakwa gone wild. "Definitely not as great as I hoped. It could've been better."
End Confessional
Confessional Chef
"You think it's easy cookin for 22 ungrateful teenagers? Man, I've had better jobs in prison."
End Confessional
Confessional Blake
"I mean yeah, the food mostly sucked… but it wasn't all bad." Scenes were shown from the turkey feast in the awake-a-thon episode, to Blake serving Chris one of the meals her team cooked for him, to finally a shot of Danny's feast in 'Wawanakwa Gone Wild.'
End Confessional
Confessional Chef
"At least a couple of these brats were somewhat appreciative!" He crossed his arms before grumbling to himself. "Slaving all day at a hot stove."
Confessional Danny
He gagged before speaking. "Please don't get me started on the food" He shuddered as scenes played of Colleen and Landon snapping apart some white paste, to shots of the bull testicles from the brunch of Disgustingness, and finally a shot of the campers digging in the trash for food from 'Basic Straining.' "It was awful!"
End Confessional
Confessional Chef
"'Less rat droppings'" Chef mocked. "Does this look like a five-star restaurant to you!?"
End Confessional
Confessional Blake
"The people were… iffy." Blake said. "There were some cool ones though!" Scenes played of Katrina confessing her feelings to Blake on the bike, to Samantha and Emily pitching their team's tent in 'The sucky Outdoors,' to finally Rosalina and Blake talking about guns in 'The Brunch of Disgustingness.' "But others were annoying as hell!" Scenes of Katelyn talking, to Juliette whining about showers in the confessional, and finally Boomer arguing with Blake in 'Camp Castaways.'
End Confessional
Confessional Danny
"The people here were the worst! These people were the most" Shots of Katrina blowing up on Danny "loud,", to Toby and Danny arguing "annoying," Next was a shot of Colin making a sarcastic comment to Rosalina "lazy," to finally Blake punching Danny in the last episode "and just truly atrocious in every way imaginable!" The camera cut back to Danny. "I couldn't stand most of them. At least Katelyn and Sherwood were somewhat normal."
End Confessional
Confessional Blake
"The one thing I'll be remembered for?" Scenes played of Blake roaring her chainsaw at the psycho killer, to being blown up by a land mine on her bike, to her once again roaring her chainsaw and chasing after Chef in a clown costume from the 'Phobia Factor' challenge. "Probably being a complete badass this whole competition."
End Confessional
Confessional Danny
"What am I going to be remembered for?" Scenes played of Danny convincing Toby and Celeste to vote for Samantha, then of him and Katelyn smirking after the former's plan worked to make Adam look bad, to finally him talking to Blake about voting out Landon two episodes prior. "Definitely my strategic mind. I managed to make it here through my own wit, and that's what's going to get me that $100,000."
End Confessional
The scene then flashed to a clearing in the middle of the woods with Chris standing in between Blake and Danny. Behind them was a long white line, and even behind that were two separate bleachers, each with a picture of Danny or Blake on them.
"Now it's time to welcome the twenty-one campers that did not make it here." Chris said as the eliminated contestants: Flex, Colin, Bridget, Jade, Samantha, Emily, Graham, Steven, Celestia, Hailey, Toby, Adam, Katelyn, Rosalina, Katrina, Juliette, Sherwood, Colleen, Landon, and finally Boomer, walked on screen.
As Katrina walked by, Blake sent a wink her way, which made the brainiac smile.
"Now, would everyone who's walked the Dock of Shame and left camp on the Boat of Losers kindly take a seat in the Peanut Gallery of Failure." Chris instructed. "The side you choose should represent who you want to win this final challenge, and by extension, the $100,000."
Danny held up his hands. "Wait, wait, wait, wait- What do you mean challenge? Isn't the winner being decided by jury vote?"
Chris sucked in air through his teeth. "See, about that… I lied."
"What!? That's not fair! I would've had such a different strategy if I'd known that!" Danny whined.
Chris just shrugged. "Well you're just gonna have to deal with that."
Confessional Danny
"Screw Chris and his always changing rules! If I had known the winner would be decided by a challenge, I would've done so many things differently!"
End Confessional
The camera panned over to Blake's bleachers on the right. On her bleachers sat Samantha, Emily, Katrina, Rosalina, Landon, Mr. Coconut, Adam, Steven, Colin, Colleen, Juliette, and Graham. The latter six weren't exactly happy with having to root for Blake, but they really didn't want Danny to win.
On Danny's bleachers were the rest of the contestants: Katelyn, Sherwood, Jade, Flex, Bridget, Boomer, Hailey, Celestia, and Toby. The latter five were similarly not happy to have to root for either of the finalists, but they respected Danny's game more, despite him playing a dirtier game.
"Seems to almost be pretty even." Chris said.
"Are you sure we have to choose either of these two?" Toby asked. "Because truth be told: I don't want to root for either of them."
"Yes, you do have to root for one of the finalists." Chris responded. "If you didn't want them to reach the end, you should've gotten them out sooner."
The eleven who weren't excited to root for either finalists just frowned.
"Tough crowd." Blake said awkwardly.
"Blake, Danny" the host spoke up to get things back on track. "This is your chance to tell the Peanut Gallery of failure what you would do with the money, and why you deserve it."
"I think it's pretty clear that I deserve it." Blake said. "I managed to beast my way through this competition while having a huge target on my back the whole way here. With what I'd do with the money… well first I'd buy a STIHL LB chainsaw from the 1950's. I'd love to have that antique beauty in my collection. Then I'd probably use the money to help out with my family and stuff."
This made Samantha smile.
"Well that's… interesting." Chris awkwardly responded. "Danny?"
Danny pondered for a moment. "Well clearly, I deserve to win because I played the most strategic game! Most of you may be pissed that I had something to do with your elimination, but that's how the game was to be played. Only one person can win that $100,000, and I wanted it to be me. It's nothing personal." He glanced over to Blake. "Well… mostly. And what would I do with the money? Honestly, I'd love to be able to travel. After that, I might buy a new guitar and maybe put the rest into university."
Chris frowned. "You people are boring."
Blake and Danny just raised an eyebrow at each other.
"Alright," Chris started, "It's time for the final challenge: the rejected Olympic relay race!"
The scene flashed to a shot of Chef Hatchet in a tracksuit holding a flaming toilet plunger.
"Each of the three parts was submitted to the committee, but sadly was rejected as an official Olympic sport."
Chef finally reached a dirty toilet on top of a podium, and doused the flame in it.
The scene switched back to Chris and the finalists. Chris was holding two hats, which he tossed to Danny and Blake. Danny got a cow hat, and Blake got a chicken hat.
"What the fuck does this have to do with anything?" Blake asked.
However, Chris ignored her, and just continued to explain the challenge. "Dressed as a cow and chicken, run to the first location where you will have to shimmy up a pole to retrieve your flag."
The camera panned over to said flag poles. One had a red flag for Danny, and the other had a dark blue flag for Blake.
"If you don't have the flag, don't bother coming down that pole!" Chris said.
"This'll be a synch for my strong and beautiful girlfriend Blake." Katrina smirked, crossing her arms.
"Don't count Danny out just yet!" Jade said. "He may not look it, but he's pretty strong."
The camera then showed a shot of two planks that were over a ravine. "Next, you will cross a 300 meter balance beam suspended above a massive gorge, while carrying an eagle's egg! Oh, not to mention you'll be doing that over shark infested waters." The camera panned down to show two sharks looking up at the beams excitedly. One of them licked its lips.
Danny and Blake gave each other nervous glances before the bald schemer spoke up, "What happens if you drop the egg?"
"Then you'll have to return to get another one." Chris explained. "After that is the final leg of the race which is a long-distance run back here to the finish line. First camper to arrive, wins."
Blake and Danny put their hats on, and sent each other a glare.
"I hope you break a leg, literally." Danny told his adversary.
"Don't get too cocky asshole," Blake told him. "I plan on kicking your scrawny ass and showing you up."
"Go Danny! Kick that bitch's ass!" Katelyn cheered from Danny's bleachers.
Danny smirked, and gave a thumbs up to his fellow villain.
Confessional Katelyn
"That butch bitch Blake is so going down!" The mean girl said in the confessional. "And I made sure of it." She smirked as she held up a stick of butter.
End Confessional
The two finalists got ready as Chris started counting down. "On your marks… get set… GO!" With that, Chris blew an airhorn and Blake and Danny rushed off.
Right after, Samantha, Emily, and a lagging behind Katrina ran up next to Blake, clearly here to give support.
And for Danny, Katelyn and Jade showed up to give him support.
Confessional Danny
"Not gonna lie, I wish I had gotten more support than just Katelyn and Jade."
End Confessional
Blake was the first to arrive at her pole with Danny close behind. More of the peanut gallery showed up as well.
Katrina was the last to arrive, very much panting. "You… got this… babe…"
"Uh, are you okay?" Emily asked the brainiac.
Blake tried to climb the pole, but she kept slipping back down each time.
Danny however managed to start climbing with ease.
After slipping down again, Blake growled in annoyance. "Why the fuck is my flag pole so slippery!?"
Katrina walked up to it, and felt it. She looked at her hand, which was now covered in butter. "What the fuck? Someone put fucking butter on here!"
From her spot next to Danny's flag pole, Katelyn snickered.
"Just great!" Blake yelled.
By this time, Danny managed to get his flag off the pole. "I got it!"
The schemer smirked and slid down the pole. "See you when I win my money Blake!" Danny teased, running towards the next leg of the race.
"Fuck off!" Blake snapped. "What the hell am I going to do?"
"Ladies, I got this." Steven said, walking up. The heartthrob then took his shirt off, and started rubbing the pole down. Once he was finished, Blake grabbed on, and was able to keep her grip. "It worked! Thanks pretty boy!" She then started to quickly climb up.
Steven just smirked, and turned towards the other girls, expecting them to be drooling over them, but instead Emily, Juliette, Colleen, and Hailey just gave him an unamused look. Colin was really the only one mesmerized by his abs. Steven deflated a little as Blake jumped down with her flag, which startled him.
"Later!" She called behind her back as she ran off with Katrina, Emily, and Samantha in tow.
Confessional Katelyn
"Okay, so my butter didn't work as well as I wanted it to, but trust me, Danny will be winning this thing! No alternate endings here."
End Confessional
The scene flashed to the second part of the race with Chris and an unnamed intern looking over the ravine.
"Okay new intern, I know it's weird that you're starting on our last episode, but it's because all the other interns died already." Chris told him. "All you have to do is to test out this final challenge, and make sure it's moderately safe."
The intern looked back and forth between Chris and the ravine. He looked down towards the sharks as one jumped in the air snapping its jaws, and the other one beckoning him to come down.
The intern started to walk across the balance beam as Chris called out, "Don't look down dude!"
This distracted the intern enough for him to lose his balance, and fall off the balance beam to the water below.
Chris winced as the intern was eaten, but quickly regained his composure. "Well, seems safe enough to me." With that, the host took out a clipboard and checked something off on it.
The scene flashed to Blake and her crew running, trying to catch up to Danny. Katrina was still clearly struggling, and heavily panting.
"You know you don't have to run with us, right Kat?" Blake told her girlfriend.
"No...I *pant* want to… help." With that, Katrina collapsed, making Blake stop.
"Don't worry about her Blake, just focus on the race." Samantha told her sister. "I can deal with her."
"You sure?" Emily asked. "I could stay and help."
Samantha just gave her a small smile before responding, "Nah, it's fine. You go with Blake in case she needs help."
Emily just nodded as her and Blake continued running.
Blake smirked and eyed Emily. "Soooo, you and my sister, eh?"
Emily got a faint blush on her cheek. "Oh shut up."
The camera flashed back to Samantha, who just frowned looking at Katrina.
Confessional Samantha
"I would love to just leave Katrina there, but I know I shouldn't treat my sister's girlfriend like that."
End Confessional
Samantha groaned before talking to herself. "Alright Shayne, let's just get her back to the starting line.
With that Samantha took off her glasses, and her eyes became feral. Shayne looked down with pity at Katrina who was still on the ground panting.
"You're a little fuckin bitch." Shayne told her.
Katrina's head snapped up, and she glared. "What the fuck!? What the hell did I fucking do?"
Shayne scoffed. "Can't even run a short distance, you're fucking pathetic." With that, Shayne hoisted Katrina onto her shoulders, and started walking back to the starting line.
"Put me down!" Katrina yelled. "Fuck you! I'll show you who's pathetic! I have an IQ of 187!"
As Shayne carried Katrina off, the scene flashed.
Danny, Jade, and Katelyn managed to reach the second leg of the race. They approached the ravine, and their eyes all widened as they looked down it.
"Yeah, we're gonna wait for you over there." Jade told him as she and Katelyn ran off to go the safe route.
Danny gulped before going over to a nearby eagle's nest with four eggs. He picked one up, and started to go across the balance beam.
"Easy does it." The bald schemer told himself.
Chris, Chef, Jade, and Katelyn walked up onto the other side.
"And Danny makes it to the second part of the challenge!" Chris announced.
"What's even with the bird eggs?" Katelyn asked the host.
"Oh, you'll seen." Chris smirked, glancing over to Chef. The two started snickering, which made Jade and Katelyn give each other questioning looks.
Just then, Blake and Emily managed to catch up.
The bookworm took a look at the ravine, and said, "Yeah, good luck with that," Before running off to the other side.
"Ah shit, this isn't gonna be fun." Blake said to herself as she ran over to get an egg.
She then ran over to the balance beam. By this time, Danny was already almost finished.
"Took you long enough Blake." Danny smirked. "Too bad you're a little too late. I'm already almost done!"
Blake glared. She knew he was right, he had a lead, and she needed to do something.
Emily, who finally arrived at the other side, called out. "Blake! The egg!"
Blake raised an eyebrow. She looked at the egg before an idea popped into her mind. She smirked, pulled her hand back, and then threw the egg at Danny.
It hit the schemer in the back of the head, and made him lose his balance. "W-whoa!" He then slipped, which made everyone else viewing this gasp.
Confessional Emily
"Okay, I was trying to get her to make sure to keep the egg close to her, but I guess trying to kill Danny works too. Because there totally isn't other steps to catch up she could've taken before that." The bookworm said sarcastically.
End Confessional
As Danny slipped, the egg luckily managed to fall back onto the balance beam without breaking. The schemer managed to grab a hold of the balance beam to keep him from falling into the water below.
"What the fuck!?" Danny yelled. He looked down at the sharks, who were both eagerly waiting for him to fall. "Help!"
While this was going on, Blake managed to get a new egg, and started making her way across the balance beam.
"Nice to see you hanging around Danny." Blake teased, smirking at Danny.
"Fuck you!" Danny snapped back.
All of a sudden, a series of screeches could be heard.
"What was that!?" Blake exclaimed.
Just then, two eagles swooped onto the scene.
"Two angry eagle parents." Chris said, smiling.
Katelyn smirked evilly. "Oh, that is so devilishly yummy!"
"Are you really enjoying this?" Emily asked. "You know they could die, right?"
Katelyn shrugged. "Eh, wouldn't be a huge loss."
This made Emily's eyes widen in shock at Katelyn's apathy.
Confessional Emily
"What the hell is wrong with these people?"
End Confessional
The eagles screeched, and dove for Blake. "Ah! Fuck off you stupid birds!"
However, they wouldn't stop, and they started pecking at Blake as the chainsaw lover tried shooing them away. "Get the fuck off me!"
While this was going on, Danny tried to hoist himself back up. He tried pulling, but one of his hands slipped, and he was holding on by a single hand.
This made the spectators gasp.
Down below, the sharks started to become even more excited.
Danny looked at them, then gritted his teeth. "I'm not… going like this!" He managed to pull his arm up, and grab back onto the balance beam. He started trying to pull himself back up again. He became slightly red in the face as he did, and he was clearly struggling.
"Come on Danny!" Jade cheered.
Finally, with a loud grunt, Danny managed to hoist himself back onto the balance beam. He let out a sigh of relief. "Thank god." He looked at his egg, which was still on the balance beam. He stood back up carefully, making sure to grab the egg. Once he was standing back up, he smiled, and continued to make his way to the other side.
Once he made it, Danny set the egg down into another nest, and smirked back at Blake. "Good luck with your little birdie friends Blake! See ya later bitch!"
With that, Danny, Katelyn, and Jade ran off again.
Blake gasped at this, then glared. "Hell no! I'm not letting that shit stain get ahead of me again!"
With those words, Blake punched the first eagle, making it fall into the water below to get eaten by one of the sharks.
The other eagle screeched at this, and tried to dive towards Blake again, but the chainsaw lover punched it in the face as well, knocking it into the water below to be eaten by the other shark.
Blake made her way across the balance beam, finally making it to the other side. She set the egg down in the nest and took off with Emily towards the finish line. "Get your ass back here Danny!"
The scene flashed to Danny and the girls.
Danny laughed. "I have this in the bag!"
"Yeah, Blake stood no chance!" Katelyn said. "I can't wait to see her cry about losing."
"After the shit I had to deal with with her, that's all I want to see at this point too." Danny said.
"You guys are sounding pretty sociopathic." Jade pointed out as the three ran passed the cabins.
Katelyn rolled her eyes. "Oh what-ever."
"I mean wouldn't you feel the same if it was Sherwood in Blake's place?" Danny asked the chatterbox.
Jade pondered for a moment before responding. "I guess you're right. I bet it's going to feel better knowing you completely crushed her in this final challenge too. I mean she's nowhere in si-"
Jade was then cut off by a roar. The three looked back, and saw Blake was sprinting towards the three. The chainsaw lover was catching up fast.
"Crap! Run!" Jade yelled.
The three quickened their pace.
"You're not winning that easily!" Blake yelled.
Back at the bleachers, the contestants who weren't running by the finalists' side were looking out for them as Chris and Chef held up a red ribbon. Most of them were starting to get excited, even the ones who didn't want either finalist to win.
Bridget and Hailey were squinting their eyes to try and get a peek of the finalists.
Bridget's eyes widened as he pointed ahead and exclaimed, "Look! They're almost here!"
Some of the others turned their heads in the direction that Bridget was pointing. They noticed Blake and Danny right as Blake managed to tackle Danny to the ground.
"Get off me freak!' Danny yelled, trying to push Blake off.
"No! I'm not letting you win this!" Blake snapped back.
The two struggled with each other, and started wrestling back and forth.
Back with the Peanut Gallery, everyone started cheering for their respective finalist.
"Let's go Blake! Kick his ass!" Katrina yelled. "Punch him in the jaw again!"
From next to her, Graham just gave her an awkward look. He then turned to Colleen, and said, "These people are going a little too far with this, don't you think?"
However Colleen didn't hear him as she was too busy cheering in a deeper voice. "RIP HIS ARM OUT OF THE SOCKET!"
Confessional Graham
"Is it me, or are most of these people taking this way too seriously? It's literally just a game, I don't get why we need to make it violent."
End Confessional
Blake and Danny continued to wrestle. Slowly, but surely, Blake was starting to get the edge on Danny.
This didn't go unnoticed by Katelyn, who looked around to try and find something to help out.
Danny managed to get on top of Blake as Katelyn spotted a large tree branch lying on the ground. She darted towards it, picked it up and yelled, "Danny, here!"
The mean girl tossed the branch towards the schemer, but it was intercepted by a book midair.
Katelyn looked at the source of the book, and saw it came from Emily.
"What the hell bitch!?" Katelyn yelled.
"Don't think I'm just going to let Danny win that easily." the bookworm responded.
"Jade, get the tree branch to Danny!" Katelyn commanded.
The chatterbox darted towards the tree branch, but sadly Emily was closer. The bookworm went to grab it, but was dog piled by Katelyn and Jade.
The peanut gallery went wild at another fight starting, and they started cheering for that too.
"Seriously, does no one else think this is a little much?" Graham asked.
"Pull the bitches' hair!" Colin yelled from next to the otaku. "Scratch their eyes out queen!"
Graham just gave a deadpanned look.
Emily managed to overtake the other two, and held them down. She had Katelyn in a choke hold, and Jade was trapped between her legs.
"What the heck!?" Katelyn exclaimed. "How the hell this this skinny bitch over powering us?"
Confessional Emily
The bookworm sat in the confessional reading a book. She looked up at the camera and raised an eyebrow. "What? Just because I'm not active means I can't be a little scrappy? Trust me, growing up with five brothers, you learn how to fight pretty quickly."
End Confessional
Katelyn and Jade struggled to get out of Emily's grip, but they thrashed around trying to break free. Finally, Jade decided to play a little dirty, and she bit Emily's calf.
"Ow!" Emily exclaimed, slightly loosening her legs. This was enough for Jade to squirm out of her grip.
The chatterbox finally managed to get a hold of the branch, and she quickly tossed it towards Danny. "Danny, catch!'
The schemer, who was still wrestling with Blake, took his attention away from the chainsaw lover just in time to catch the branch. He managed to bring down the branch on the back of Blake's head.
"Ah! Shit!" Blake yelled, clutching her head.
Danny took this opportunity to buck Blake off of him, and he got up and made a dash for the finish line.
"Shit!" Blake cursed, getting up. She started running after Danny to try and overtake his lead.
Danny panted as he ran as fast as he could towards the finish line. The peanut gallery was going nuts and cheering for their respective finalist.
Blake was not far behind however, and she was shown to be closing the gap quickly.
Just as they were coming up to the finish line, Danny shut his eyes to focus on sprinting while Blake ran and dove towards the finish line.
The two reach the end at the same time, but just one of them managed to break the red ribbon Chef and Chris were holding up.
And that person was…
… to be revealed next chapter! See ya then!
...
...
...
Okay, fiiine, I'll do it now.
Cheers filled the air as Chris excitedly announced, "Danny won! Danny won!"
Everyone who was team Danny started cheering for the Schemer.
Danny himself was panting heavily, and almost didn't even realize he won. But after seeing Blake getting up from the ground a couple feet away from the ribbon, he finally realized that he won.
"I-I did it!?" He asked flabbergasted. The schemer pumped his fists in the air. "I WON! I beat Blake!"
People cheered for their winner, even if they weren't necessarily rooting for him. The adrenaline from the day was taking over and was making everyone happy.
Well… almost everyone. Blake growled and punched the ground. "Dammit! I was so close."
Katrina walked over to her and knelt down. "You okay?"
"Not really." Blake admitted. ""I just fucking lost out on $100,000."
"Yeah that does suck..." Katrina said.
"I don't get what else I could've done!" Blake told her girlfriend. "I tried everything I could to make sure Danny lost."
"I think that right there is your problem." The brainiac said. "You were too focused on making Danny lose when you should've been more focused on actually winning."
"Isn't that the same thing?" Blake asked.
"Not necessarily. I mean what did you do when Danny was ahead of you on the balance beams?" Katrina asked.
"I threw an egg at him to get him to fall off." Blake answered.
"Yes, and yet, after all that he still had the lead on you at the end of that leg."
"Okay, but I managed to catch up even with his lead." Blake said. "So throwing that egg at him didn't really give me a disadvantage either."
"But when you caught up, what did you do?" Katrina asked.
"I tackled him so he couldn't make it to the finish line." Blake told her.
"Exactly!" Katrina exclaimed. "You caught up so fast, you could've been able to pass the shithead and make it to the finish line before him if you didn't focus on trying to make sure he didn't get there. Had you ignored the bastard and focused on making it to the finish line, you could've won."
Blake face palmed. "Shit, you're probably right. I'm a fucking idiot!"
"I'll admit, it wasn't very smart of you." Katrina told her. "However, this type of shit seemed to be a running thing with you all competition. You'd have your eyes set on a certain thing, and wouldn't consider any other possible options. Like for when you voted out Katelyn instead of Boomer. You were so set on that alliance with Rosalina that in the end, you ended up turning Danny against us and getting me eliminated, and no alliance came of it. Despite me explaining to you why it wasn't a good idea."
Blake awkwardly rubbed the back of her head. "I guess you're right. Sorry Kat."
"It's done and over with." Katrina said. "But hey, you have me, you're gorgeous girlfriend who has an IQ of 187, and that's better than the shitty money."
Blake smirked. "I dunno, I think I'd rather have the money."
Katrina pouted. "Well fuck you then."
Blake just laughed and kissed her.
Then Emily and Samantha walked up to the two.
"Alright lovebirds, break it up." Emily snarked.
Blake chuckled. "Like you two are the ones to talk."
Samantha rolled her eyes, but she couldn't hide her own smirk. "Oh fuck off loser."
"Still made it farther than you." Blake joked. "Whose really the bigger loser?"
Samantha sent her sister a playful middle finger right before the camera switch back to focusing on our winner.
Over with Danny, he was surrounded by the other contestants cheering. The schemer had a huge grin on his face.
He turned to Jade and Katelyn. "I honestly should thank you two. Without you, I probably wouldn't have one."
Jade just gave a thumbs up. "No problem. I just respected how greatly you played the game, I thought you deserved it."
Katelyn smirked. "Well I think that you should share some of your winnings with us since we did help you win."
Danny laughed for a moment before getting serious. "No."
Katelyn just scoffed.
Confessional Danny
"This whole competition I was so confident that I'd get here and win. And well, I was right, but actually living in this moment is so surreal. Usually, I'd take all the credit for this, but I can't help but admit that Katelyn and Jade were a huge help for this challenge. I might not have won without them."
End Confessional
The scene flashed. Night had fallen over the island, and even from the far away view of Camp Wawanakwa, the faint light of a fire could be seen. The camera zoomed into the campfire pit.
All of the eliminated contestants, including Blake, sat on the log stools
In front of them stood Chris, and this season's winner, Danny.
"After eight grueling weeks, it's my pleasure to give this $100,000 dollar check to the last camper standing." said Chris. "The winner of Total Drama Island: Danny!"
Danny smiled and pumped his fists into the air as the others cheered.
"Danny, at this time, I give you the ultimate symbol of survival on this island:" Chris told him, walking over to him. "The final Marshmallow." The host held up the marshmallow.
Grinning, Danny took it and popped it in his mouth. "Never has a marshmallow tasted so good… and after tonight, I never want to see one ever again."
Some of the others laughed as Boomer elbowed Rosalina, who smirked. The two locked eyes with Toby and Jade.
"You guys know what it's time for?" Boomer asked.
The four got up and started walking towards Chris.
The host raised an eyebrow at them, but his eyes widened once he realized they were going after him.
The scene flashed to the dock of shame. Chris could be heard screaming "N-no! No guys! My hair! DUDES!" Chris protested, being carried down the dock by Boomer, Rosalina, Jade, and Toby. Not far behind was Celestia, Landon, Danny, Blake, and Katrina.
"One," the four people holding Chris started to chant. "Two, THREE!" On three, the four threw Chris into the lake. He surfaced, and spit out some water as the contestants laughed.
"I've been wantin to do that all summer!" Chef exclaimed. "How do ya like that, pretty boy?" He didn't realize that he was next on the chopping block.
"Oh Chefy poo~" Boomer teased.
Chef's eyes widened.
"Guess who's next." Toby said, smirking.
Chef ran away from them screaming, but the four started to chase after him, making Celestia, Landon, Danny, and Katrina laugh. Blake, however, was unamused.
Danny noticed this, and elbowed her. "Ah c'mon, you gotta admit that's hilarious."
Blake couldn't keep back her smirk. "Okay, you're right."
"I have to give you props." Danny told her. "You sure as hell gave me a run for my money."
"Thanks." Blake said. She paused before continuing. "Sorry for trying to kill you with a bird egg… and tackling you to the ground… and knocking out your tooth."
Danny shrugged. "Eh, I've done and said messed up things to you this summer as well. We'll call it even. For now."
The two smirked at each other and shook each others' hands as the camera panned out with the five still on the dock, and in the background, Chef was still shown being chased by Boomer, Rosalina, Toby, and Jade.
With that, the camera faded to black, ending the season once and for all.
Reason:I assume most people came into this chapter expecting Blake to win. But I decided to give the win to Danny. Why? Tbh, I don't really have a good answer for that. I love it when the 'villains' come out on top, and really that would've worked with whoever won, as both Blake and Danny were villains in their own right. However, I thought Danny's villainy was more so for the competition itself, rather than him being a more mean spirited person. But, that's not to say I didn't toy around with Blake being the winner. From a usual perspective, she'd be moreso the "protagonist" between her and Danny, but I wouldn't really categorize her as that. They both were antagonists in their own right and they both managed to make it to the end. It's also a subversion of most TDI stories, where the main antagonist of the season who is responsible for the most eliminations, tends to lose. And I love subverting expectations. Not to mention, Danny has been planned as a finalist for most of the story. Blake however, was originally supposed to be eliminated instead of Katrina, but I decided to switch them around as I felt Blake molded better with the characters that were left. And lastly, but in my eyes the most important, Danny winning with the help of Katelyn and Jade also gave him some development. For a while, he's talked about how he only made it as far as he did to to himself and only himself. But he realized here that Katelyn and Jade were very big factors in his win, hence him thanking them in the end. And Blake also got some development of her own by Katrina explaining that she shouldn't have been so focused on Danny. He big flaw was that she was always so focused on one thing that she didn't realize there were other routes she could've taken that would've been better for her. Danny winning helped both the characters grow just that extra little bit at the end, which I think they need. Hence, Danny is the winner of Total SYOC Island. Perhaps a controversial choice, but I'm fine with that. Congrats to thegirlwholived91 on your character win! And sorry to KaijuFenrir, whose character just came up short. But 2nd is nothing to sneeze at!
And with that, we're done! It has been a long 4 ½ years, but we finally made it friends! There were times where I'm pretty sure no one expected this story to actually get finished, but we did it. I will say that I'm probably not going to write a Total Drama drama drama drama episode, and by extension, a second season. Even if I did write TDDDDI, it wouldn't have ended like in canon. I would've given the money to the person who won the fan favorite poll (which turned out to be Graham, surprisingly). That means there wouldn't have been a Total Syoc Action, but I did actually plan for Total Syoc World Tour. I came up with a whole bunch of plot points for it too. For example, the returning characters would've been Flex, Danny, Katelyn, Colleen, Sherwood, Colin, Graham, Jade, Landon, Emily, Samantha, Katrina, Bridget, Hailey, and Rosalina. I would've introduced Alejandro and Sierra, as well as Aaron, the guy mentioned to be Colin's crush. Some of the plots I had included, Samantha and Emily becoming an official couple (which i ended up just heavily implying this chapter), Sierra being obsessed with Landon (which would cause Rosalina to get jealous and for her and Landon to breakup), Colin being strung along by Aaron, who would've been a couple with Jade and the two would be the secondary antagonists of the season, and a rivalry between Bridget and Alejandro, which would end with them getting together. There were other smaller things I thought of, but they're irrelevant as TSWT isn't gonna happen.
I have to say, I do like how the finale turned out. It's so incredibly chaotic, which is what I love about it. The canon finale of Island didn't feel as exciting, and it tends to be kinda forgettable, which is sad for such a great season. It was also fun having all the contestants together again, and I was hopefully able to bring out their personalities. Sadly I couldn't give everyone screentime, but I hope you enjoy seeing more of people like Jade and Emily, who didn't make it too far. Speaking of which, I knew I wanted to give the finalists unofficial helpers, kinda like with canon. Katrina, Samantha, and Emily were obvious choices for Blake. With Danny, I knew I wanted to have the other villains in the cast help him out. Sherwood was originally thought to be helping him too, but I felt it didn't fit his character. So that left just Katelyn and Jade, the latter of which we got to see more of her villain side. I hope their personalities were able to shine through!
But yeah, we made it! I reread TSI in its entirety not too long ago, and boy am I a bad writer. XD I should formally apologize for doin all these wonderful characters so dirty. Especially in those earlier chapters… yikes. But i've always been more of an artist than an author, and I did enjoy planning out this story and all the plot lines. I'm also extremely proud that I managed to finish my second SYOC. Now I'm 2-1. Most people don't even start their first one, so I have to say I'm very proud. I also want to thank everyone who submitted a character and read the story. I know most people either aren't on this site much anymore, don't really care, or just stopped reading when their OC was voted off, but even to them, and especially those who are still here, I deeply thank you from the bottom of my heart for being on this journey with me. I know it wasn't easy having to deal with the most inconsistent update schedule in the history of ever, but I do hope you enjoyed the story. For the last time on TSI, I hope you have a wonderful day, and I wish you nothing but the best in the future ~MG.
