Chapter 20
He ate like a mad man.
Yuuji was scarfing down plate after plate of food and savoring very bite of it. People stopped and stared on as he did such a thing before asking for seconds. Principal Yaga was rather stunned silent to the youth's ambitious appetite. When he was finally appeased with the meal, he laid back and gave a content sigh.
"Thank you sir for the meal," he said graciously.
Principal Yaga was then starting at him funny. "Huh," he said offhandedly. "Your curse energy went down again…"
Yuuji paused to his comment. "It did? Do you think… am I…" he began to stutter out questions, but then felt his robe suddenly move oddly. He was slapped with one of the drooping limbs before realizing it was Sensei at it again, having some fun.
"Gojo…" Principal Yaga warned.
"Oh relax, it's not doing anything, see…" he said and flailed the limb oddly.
"Perhaps we should look into getting those amputated… you see this boy turning back? His curse energy is even fading."
Gojo suddenly took off his glasses and blindfold, he exposed one eye to Yuuji who froze upon inspection, but then, he lowered them again. "I can see that is happening indeed, but… hmmm…." He said offhandedly and stared.
"What is it?" Yaga demanded.
"Well, that's the thing, I don't know…" Gojo said. "I haven't seen anything like this before, no one has."
"Sensei, I hope I can go back out on missions again soon and help!"
"Hard to say since you are losing your curse energy… but if you can still see them, I am sure we could still use a helping hand…"
"ITADORI!"
He paused as he heard his friends call out to him, he smiled and waved… as Sensei once more grabbed one of the lower arms and flailed it about rather enthusiastically.
Nobara was disgusted. "Ew, aren't you going to get those things lopped off?" she demanded.
"I don't even know what they are going to do with me yet!" Yuuji replied. "I am to face a test in three days to see for sure that Sukuna is gone, after. Maybe I will, it's not like I am using them anyways…"
"At least you didn't grow a second face, Sukuna was trying!" Gojo snickered.
The table shuttered at the thought. "One talking Yuuji is bad enough" muttered Megumi.
"Besides, I wouldn't get these removed just yet…" Gojo said offhandedly.
The table paused. "Wait, why!?" demanded Yaga.
"Too many people out to get him, how easy would it be for them to blotch a surgery and let him bleed out on the table?"
"Good point…" Yuuji muttered.
"Well, with that, how about we take him out for a little while, get some air, kill a few curses…"
"He's not to leave the compound!" Yaga protested.
Gojo sighed aloud in a rather board and frustrated tone. "If he hasn't done so by now, then he won't right?!" he demanded. "Besides, I'm there… you doubting my abilities?"
Yaga then found himself staring into the pleading eyes of Yuuji, he wanted to get out of his room, he wants to stretch his legs and go out for some fresh air. He sneered at the idea. "Dress him properly and hide those limbs!" he ordered.
Gojo smiled as he already pulled out a new uniform. "Had this custom made, see, in here, there are second sleeves for the arms!"
"You're awesome Sensei!"
"I know," he said and smiled.
Yuuji was quick to put on the sweater, he tucked the useless limbs into the inner part of the hoodie he was given, then it buttoned up on the sides but brought the arms in close to his body. No one would notice unless they bumped into him. He looked relatively normal!
"Is this really a good idea?" Megumi asked.
"Oh come on Fushiguro, you know this is a great idea!" Yuuji said and smiled. "Let's go outside!"
"Onward!" Gojo cheered.

The air felt great.
Itadori was savoring the taste of freedom, but he is enjoying it even more considering he was going to be put to death just a few short days ago. They walked the streets of Tokyo when Sensei Gojo was explaining the assignment. "We got reports of curses trying to get near a temple outside of the city," he explained.
"Those are sacred places aren't they? Are curses not repelled?" asked Itadori.
"That's adorable, but no." Gojo said flat out. "Faith is one thing, sometimes people accidently let in curses since they believe it could be the world of whatever god they are praying to and it was giving them a sign. Some tend to exploit the beliefs of people like that. No this is different, and since there are so many, we will need to split up."
"How many are we dealing with?" asked Megumi.
"Uh… let's see…" Gojo appeared to be counting in his head until he came to a satisfying number. "Twenty!"
The three froze. "Twenty!? Are they low level curses?" asked Nobara.
"Some are, but then again, the strong ones will get attracted to easy prey so, hard to say. I do know they are a lot so we better get to work!"
"Working in twos?" asked Nobara.
However, Sensei had a smirk on his face. "Split up everyone, divide and conquer!"
"Uh… Sensei… what about Itadori?" muttered Megumi.
"Ah, good point, Yuuji!"
"Sir!" he said respectfully.
"Head north, we will meet back here in an hour, that should be more than enough time"
Itadori was thrill that he gets to go solo, so much so he already took off in search of these curses…
