Chapter 24
It was the biggest news on the campus to say the least.
"It all happened overnight, elders I can't explain this!" their head doctor who was trying to help these creatures came in that morning, she froze when she saw people instead of the cursed beasts lying on the floor in their cells. All happened to be covered up and sleeping rather soundly. The elders were quick to investigate the incident, but there was nothing to show how it happened.
They went over the video, no one went in or out in that time frame, but they watched as one by one these creatures were in one spot, struggled for a moment, only to turn human and pass out. "What on earth… we had thought if the curse that caused this was dead, they would turn back or be killed with it. Instead… THIS?!" demanded principal Yaga.
The elders nodded. "This is highly unusual."
"It's a miracle!" said another.
"Or dumb ass luck," muttered another. "We need to find who or what did this at once!"
"By the way, how is the demon vessel?"
Principal Yaga sighed. "Apparently he couldn't move well yesterday, Gojo had him do laps around the compound until he could."
There were looks of confusion, but none knew what to say about it. "Damn that Gojo, if he weren't so powerful…" one muttered.
"What is he thinking training this demon vessel? We don't even know what he is anymore or what he has become!"
"The kid is doing okay on his own considering…" Yaga explained. "But elders, for now, we need to let sleeping dogs lie, we will work on solving this, but in the mean time, we got thirty people we can send back home after fixing their memories."
"Thirty…" one elder muttered. "How much curse energy would it take to turn 30 people?" he asked.
No one knew, but there was no doubt no one wanted to know anyways!

"Good morning…"
Gojo Sensei walked into class once more, he saw two faces and a very enthusiastic hand at desk level.
"MORNING SENSEI!" Yuuji called from the floor.
"Shit, again…" whispered Nobara. "Wait... how did it get even denser from yesterday?!"
Megumi glared down at Yuuji who was getting his pens and notes out. "YUUJI!" called Gojo sensei.
"SIR!"
"60 laps" he ordered.
"YES SIR!"
Next thing he knew, Yuuji was dragging himself outside once more.
"Sensei…" Megumi demanded in a warning tone. "It's doubled from yesterday! How can you not notice!" he demanded.
"Oh, I noticed, I assure you." Gojo sensei explained. "But it's not concerning to me, now then. You want to join him in his laps?"
Megumi had half a mind to, just to see what is going on with Itadori, so. He smirked. "Sure, okay" he said and smiled.
Gojo smiled back. "Good, let's make sure you get the full experience!"

'Damn it sensei!'
Megumi got what he asked for, yet now, he was stuck on the ground along with Itadori while carrying strong weights on his back, arms and legs to mimic what Yuuji is going through. He was done with the first ten laps, when he found Yuuji suddenly getting himself worked up. He stopped dragging himself as he pushed his body to do more. Forcing himself to his feet, he stumbled a few times, but got up again before he started stamping his feet along the ground. "It's worst than yesterday…" Yuuji muttered.
"What?"
"Yesterday was bad, today, was a lot worst… but, I think I am getting use to it though." He explained.
By the fifteenth lap, Yuuji was up and running and was getting faster!
He did all sixty laps before lunch.
Megumi froze as Itadori was done his rounds and could walk rather well on his own again. "Much better!" he said with a grin. "I don't like being on the ground,"
Megumi tore off the weights. "What the hell is happening to you!" he demanded of him. "One moment, you're fine, next, you can't move! What shit are you doing at night?!" he demanded.
However Itadori was confused. "I'm pretty sure I am asleep at night. I get weird dreams but nothing serious… can't even remember them half the time, it's those really weird ones that feel real…" he explained.
He was about to speak even farther when they saw the elders leave the medical lab. "This is remarkable, we have to find out how it happened!"
The two grew curious. They approached with caution when Yuuji asked. "What happened elders?" he asked gently.
They glared at him oddly, but they sighed aloud. "Those who had been turned into a transfigured human… have been rendered human again," said one.
Megumi froze. "That's impossible!" he protested. "We haven't found a way…"
"Well aware, but it has happened, and we can only be grateful that it did. There were 30 cursed people in that room, now, they are merely people."
"THAT'S THE BEST NEWS I HAVE HEARD ALL DAY! ALL WEEK… ALL MONTH!" cheered Itadori. He grabbed Megumi and shook him with joy. "They're free and can go back home!"
"Stop shaking me!" warned Megumi as he pried his jacket out of Yuuji's hands.
"Seriously elders! You need to find out how this happened. We can help others right? We're not the only ones holding cursed people like this, are we?" he questioned.
"No, we are not, but at the moment, it's best that you two return to your studies," Principal Yaga decreed.
"Oh, right, lunch time! Race you!" Itadori was gone.
In a flash it even made some of the elders freeze in their steps. "He… used no cursed energy to move that fast, did he?" one whispered.
"No, that's his natural strength," sighed Fushiguro. "And he's got stronger…"
