Chapter 32

Gojo was stunned.

So much so he even took off his blindfold to watch what was happening before his eyes. It was all effortless on Yuuji part too, as he went from cell to cell, two at a time he would place his hands on these poor people turned into monsters, then, in a matter of minutes, their forms shifted and changed until, they were people once more.

He didn't stop until he got everyone cured, one though he had trouble with. "I need a medical team on standby to stop the left legs from bleeding out," he said.

"What?" one medical officer said.

"Be ready to stop the bleeding of an amputated leg!" he shouted.

There were those who jumped in quickly, just as he drew the curse energy out, however, the man he was helping indeed lost his left leg to the curse. Just as it was about to bleed, the doctors were able to stop it from happening, they quickly tended to the man as Yuuji stepped out of the cage, but looked unwell. He hiccupped a little and muffled a burp.

"Yuuji?" Gojo asked.

"I'm okay…" he said. "We got a few more to do right?" he asked.

Gojo leaned in. "You're full aren't you?" he whispered.

However he waved off the notion and continued on. There were twenty left, and despite his situation, he didn't stop until the job was done.

The moment the last one was cured. Yuuji yawned aloud and collapsed on to the floor. He was out like a light once more as Gojo merely smiled at him. "To the bitter end huh?" he snickered.

"What… what did he just do?" demanded Yoshinobu.

"Took the curse off the soul." Whispered Principal Yaga. "That's what he did back at our medical area… it was him that cured those people too wasn't it?"

Gojo nodded. "Yes," he said. "Yuuji didn't know it at the time either, this was when his training first started. Now, he's gotten proficient at it… but I noticed a problem…"

"What?" the room asked.

"He can't work his arms properly… you noticed the bottom ones mimic the top, that won't serve him well, he needs to get them moving independently."

There were still sneers on the face of the elders, none of them liked the fact that the boy before them was becoming stronger in order to be a match against Sukuna. It didn't matter anyways, Gojo didn't care for what they thought of him. "Now, I think we need to take him home, I will work on his training after he recovers from this…"

"It must take a lot of energy for him to do that…" one of the medical staff said aloud.

Gojo wasn't going to say aloud that it didn't. No one knows yet that he is feeding off of these curses. Kitsune waved her fan once more over Yuuji, making him vanish before their eyes. "He has returned home," she explained. But her eyes glared at the elders. "I will be watching you all from this moment on. You dare try and harm my master and young master… I will not be the only one you deal with!" she warned.

Then she vanished in the blink of an eye.

"I assume that's how you all feel when I pop up or disappear huh?" Gojo asked in a joking tone.

#

He waited for him to wake.

Itadori took two days to recover from the feeding, but when he woke, it was with a scream. "Ah, it appears he remembered what happened…"

Gojo quickly went to the room and saw Yuuji sitting in bed nearly trembling at the sight of himself. "Oh God, it's real, it's all real…" he muttered.

"Ah, he wakes!" Gojo said joyously.

However, Yuuji wasn't smiling. "Sensei… I'm sorry…" he whimpered.

Gojo approached him fearlessly, he gently flicked his forehead, forcing Yuuji to look up at him. "Are you our Yuuji Itadori?" he asked and smiled.

"Sensei… you always ask me that… why?" he questioned.

"Because, you have always answered the same way," he replied. "You may have changed on the outside, but you are still you on the inside, am I right?" he asked curiously.

Yuuji appeared more relaxed than before, yet as he looked to Gojo, he peered away. "Am I really going to be ready to face him?" he asked

"We get you training up, I am certain," he replied confidently. "You haven't noticed how much stronger you have become."

"I've noticed how much more I start to look like him…"

Gojo sighed aloud. "Sometimes it takes a demon to defeat a demon," he said gently. "There are good demons out there to, but no one pays attention to them. Yuuji, you are capable, and we need to start your training right now to get you ready, after this. I am going to teach you domain expansion!"

Itadori froze. "Domain expansion? But you need a crazy amount of energy to do that!"

His smile only grew, so did Yuuji's. "So?" he asked.

"What's today's lesson!"

#

"Huh?"

He stood there confused, he was just outside of the school holding a tennis ball in each of his four hands. "This… is training?" he asked.

"Yep" Gojo said with a grin. "Your training is this, bounce one ball at a time." He explained.

The confusion didn't vanish from Yuuji's face. "You want me to bounce a ball?" he asked. "This is considered training for Sukuna?"

His grin didn't vanish. "If it's so easy, you master it on the first shot, we go right into domain expansion!" he decreed.

The fire lit up in his student's eye, he then turned and started to bounce the tennis ball… only to have both right arms bounce at the same time.

"Ah, no, ONE at a time," Gojo said sternly. "ONE ball gets bounced. Again,"

Yuuji nodded and tried again, but once more both tennis balls bounced from his right hands. "Damn it!" he protested.

"This is to teach you independent movement for your arms, at the moment, your bottom arms are mimicking the top. We can't have that, you need them to move separately. Try again,"

He did so, time and time again he tried to bounce the ball from one hand, but ended up bouncing two at the same time. "DAMN IT!"

"Keep at it, until you move those arms on their own, no domain expansion!" he teased.

For the rest of the day, he spent trying to figure out how to control his arms, it was a lot more difficult for him than expected, but he continued to try.

#

He checked on him by lunch.

But only found his student sitting down in defeat. "I can't do it, it's too hard, people aren't meant to have four arms, this is so weird, I can't even control them…" he said among his muttering.

It's the first time he has really seen him defeated by a training task. But he also knows it's not simple either. The human mind knows how to control two arms, but for one how hasn't had four before, can seem daunting. "I think you earned a break,"

"Sensei… I couldn't do it still, even after all this time, I couldn't do it!" he protested.

"It takes time, this is a little more difficult since it's not energy you are trying to control, but your new body. Let's go have lunch!" he decreed.

The smile returned to Itadori's face as he accepted the invite. They wondered into the dining area where people once more stopped and stared at Yuuji. He looked embarrassed. "Oh… I don't have a shirt…" he whispered.

"It's okay, we're just grabbing a bite and going, no big deal, Panda is naked so, why make a fuss…"

"But… he's a panda…" Yuuji muttered.

The others avoided him like a plague. He sighed to it all as he waited for lunch. Gojo was making sure he gets everything he needs for his strength. Lots of proteins and carbs to say the least, yet he also needs some fun. There were sweets and snacks about, and he filled the tray with all of it.

Gojo paused as students began to whisper.

"He's really a curse now isn't he?"

"Must be, but he looks like that monster, Sukuna!"

When he arrived back at the table. Itadori sighed as he took the meal. "I think I'll go eat at my dorm."

"No, you are eating here," Gojo protested. "You aren't getting special treatment, sit and eat."

He meekly nodded and ate his meal.

"About damn time you got back!"

Yuuji froze as he saw his classmates Nobara stood there with her arms crossed to him. "Where the hell were you for the past four days! We thought they killed you!"

"They wanted to," Gojo stated. "But that matter is now resolved." He said with a grin.

Megumi was staring at Itadori oddly, Gojo wondered what he was thinking, until he took a seat next to him fearlessly. "You scared us," he said. "I thought you were Sukuna…"

Yuuji smirked and toyed with his food for a moment. "I know… sorry," he said meekly. "But it was to protect you and Nobara… I mean… we could have died, if I wasn't strong enough…"

"You keep thinking about everyone else before your own well being…"

"You're the one to talk," Gojo said.

Nobara took the other side of Yuuji. "Don't do something that stupid again without warning us!" she stated.

"I make no promises…" Yuuji said as his smile returned.

The two cheered him up right away, he explained to them that he was going to be going up against Sukuna again soon in ten months, and had to get a lot stronger before then. Megumi was curious. "Can we help?" he asked.

"Of course you will be helping him!" Gojo stated. "In fact, we all are. He's going to need all the assistance we can get him. So much so we are having the sister school come and help out."

"Are we now?" asked Nobara. "Perhaps we can get some revenge for the last time!"

"Well, we'll see how the training goes." Gojo said offhandedly. "Are you nearly done Yuuji, we got to get back to your training."

"Oh yes!" he said and he suddenly wolfed down the remaining of his lunch. He grabbed the tennis balls and went back outside. "I WON'T FAIL SENSEI!" he shouted.

The room took a sigh of relief. Gojo sneered at the sight of it all, they have no idea the pressure that kid is under, all they see is a demon vessel.
