A/N: I've been on a writing kick lately for this story! This one is mainly Analogical with background/mentioned Royality. Don't worry, Royality will get their own story where they are the main focus, possibly after this one. ;) Anyway, if anyone has something they want me to write such as a ship, an idea or both please let me know! Hope everyone enjoys!

The Hot Bookstore Owner-Analogical

It was a bright summer day, Patton and Logan walking around the town.

"So, Logan, when are you going to stop going into the same bookstore every day?" Patton asks, breaking Logan from his thoughts.

"I go to this bookstore simply for the pleasure of reading, Patton. They have a really good selection." Logan hoped Patton bought his lie and didn't notice the flush in his cheeks.

"Be lucky Janus isn't here or else he would have a field day 'cause of you." Patton smirks, shaking his head slightly.

Dammit, luck was not on Logan's side today.

"So, is there any other reason you want to go to this bookstore specifically? Roman and I have been speculating." Patton's trying to be casual and failing.

"Alright, so maybe there is a reason. I can't help but notice that the bookstore owner is attractive." Logan's grumbling, but Patton hears it anyway.

"Ok, so when are you going to ask him out?" Patton slings an arm around Logan's shoulder, noting the other slipping away.

"When I'm good and ready, Patton. Besides, I barely know him." With that the two part, Logan going inside the bookstore and Patton heading toward the ice cream shop to meet Roman.

Logan sat in a back corner of the Black Soul Bookstore, named for a reason Logan didn't know.

He was reading yet another Agatha Christie novel, for she had become his favorite author as of late.

Logan heard footsteps approach and looked up in time to see a purple hoodie-clad man stop in front of him, his tag reading Virgil which Logan never noticed before.

"You know, you're like my only customer. You've come in here everyday just to sit and read. Pretty cool, if you ask me." Virgil breaks the silence, stacking books to put back on the shelves.

"Yes, well, if you had met any of my friends you would understand why." Logan replies, watching the other man's face.

Virgil chuckles, shaking his head then looks Logan right in the eyes, recognition dawning.

"I thought I knew you besides being a bookstore customer. I think we have some people in common." There's a teasing tone to Virgil's voice, making Logan smirk.

"And who would that be?" Logan tried not to sound bored, but he had heard all of this before by people who didn't even actually know his friends.

"Patton Heart and Roman Prince. Ring a bell?" Virgil teased, scooping up another book to place on a shelf.

"Wait...YOU know Patton and Roman? How?" Logan isn't usually so straightforward, he's just surprised at least Patton didn't mention this before.

"Patton and I go way back, took me in, is practically like a brother to me. I didn't have a good home situation for awhile, and he gave me a place to stay and helped me come up with this dream." Virgil looks at Logan, smirking only slightly and noticing the book in Logan's hand.

"Finally someone else likes Agatha Christie books." Virgil comments, sitting in the seat next to Logan.

"YOU read Agatha Christie books?!" Logan tries not to sound surprised but, really, this cannot be a coincidence.

"Don't judge a book but its cover. I may wear dark colors and try to pretend I have a dark soul, but her books got me out of my head for a little while, still does actually." Virgil picks up one of the other books, a fond smile on his face.

"Virgil, would you like to come over to my house sometime? I live with Patton and Roman, and sometimes it can be pretty lonely. Besides, we can chat about Agatha Christie some more, maybe watch a scary movie while Patton's out of the room." Both chuckle at the last part, knowing scary movies keep Patton up at night.

"Why not? Here, I'll give you my number and we can chat sometime, figure out when I'm coming over." With that, Virgil stands, leaving Logan alone again.

Logan exits the bookstore an hour later, wandering around only to find Roman and Patton still at the ice cream stand.

"Hey Lo, you've been gone a long time." Patton remarks as Logan sits down.

"Got a hot date?" Roman smirks, Patton hitting him on the arm. They both know not to push Logan when it comes to feelings.

"Why didn't you tell me you knew Virgil, Patton?" Logan asks, ignoring Roman's question for the time being.

"Logan, I thought you knew-wait, he told you he knew me?" Patton looks shocked, but doesn't deny knowing the other which is good.

"Yes. We talked for awhile, he mentioned that you helped get him out of a rough situation, Patton. We talked about Agatha Christie, and Virgil mentioned that he might want to come over sometime." Logan answers the last part for Roman's benefit, not his own.

Patton squeals, pulling Logan into a hug. "Who asked?" Patton is jumping up and down know, anxiously awaiting the answer.

"I did. I just mentioned how we all live together and it sometimes gets lonely by myself and he gave me his number and told me he'd come by." Logan smirks, a blush tainting his cheeks all the same.

Roman whistles, Patton somehow bouncing even more, while Logan only thinks about Virgil and when they'll meet again.

Though of course, Logan supposes he'll have even more of an excuse to visit the bookstore now, which he will-tomorrow.
