Back in 2016, I drew a picture of Amy Rose getting a soothing massage underwater in the pool, leading to me writing a SonAmy fic about Sonic giving Amy a massage underwater. I rewrote/edited the story way recently, here it is.

It was a nice summer day, a long time had passed since Doctor Eggman's last attack and, with the mad doctor missing for now, world hero Sonic the Hedgehog could relax and spend some time with his girlfriend and hammer-wielding fellow hero Amy Rose the Hedgehog.

The two of them were at Central City Swimming Pool Resort by themselves, kicking back and relaxing without a worry. Amy lay upon a pink beach blanket by the water, wearing a pair of shiny sunglasses and a red G-string bikini with her hair, which had just grown long, tied back in a ponytail.

Sonic, kicking back himself, was very content too. with Eggman more of a joke than a serious threat these days, he and Amy could spend all the time in the world together as boyfriend and girlfriend whenever they wanted without having to worry about kidnappings, robot attacks or giant monsters.

Everything was quiet, except for the sound of birds chirping and Sonic's own breathing, until Amy crawled over to where Sonic was, raised her sunglasses, smiled, kissed him gently on the cheek and whispered in her sweet, sweet voice, "Sonikku?"

The blue hedgehog, who happened to be napping a little bit, opened his eyes and saw Amy. "Oh hey, Ames." He said, "Don't mind me, I was just takin' a power nap."

Amy giggled, "Sure you were, handsome. By the way, mind if I ask you something?"

"What is it, Ames?"

"Well, I'd like to try an underwater massage, can we, please?"

Sonic blushed, "You want a massage underwater?"

Amy stood up, grabbing a pair snorkels and goggles, "Of course, it would be an interesting experience. Please...?"

Sonic grabbed his snorkel and scuba goggles, "Ok, Ames. We'll give it a go."

He and Amy put on their scuba goggles and snorkels, walked over to the pool and jumped into the water. Both hedgehogs swam down to the bottom of the pool and Sonic had his girlfriend sit down before gently massaging her smooth, bare feet, getting between her toes and rubbing her ankle.

Next, Sonic had Amy turn around so he could rub her shoulders, being very careful and delicate given they were underwater and did not want to breath in any water so they wouldn't drown. After the shoulder massage came the thing Amy loved a lot, the back massage.

Sonic had Amy lay down on her stomach as he got on top with her legs between his before undoing the knot on her bikini top and gently started to massage the pink hedgehog's back, going up and down the spine from her lower back to the area between the shoulder blades as well as her neck.

Taking notice to the smile on her face, Sonic noted that Amy looked very happy and content, this was quite an experience, they'd never tried this "underwater massage" before. But massages on land out of water were more preferable, where did Amy get this idea anyway?

Sonic continued to massage for a while he was done, he fixed the knot on his girlfriend's bikini top and they got out of the water, took off the scuba gear, dried themselves and sat on the edge, kicking their feet in the pool and holding hands as Amy leaned in and kissed Sonic on the cheek.

"Thanks, Sonic, that was wonderful." The pink hedgehog said.

"No prob, Amy." Sonic replied, "I'm happy to give you a relaxin' massage anytime."

The two hedgehogs kissed passionately on the lips and decided to go grab a chili dog to eat.
