A/N: I'm back again! I want to do Intrulogical, but I'm having trouble coming up with a plot. If anyone has a plotline for that type of story, I would appreciate an outlook on it. Btw since I am writing this after SVS Redux, Deceit's name is Janus. So, for now, I hope you enjoy this Moceit story!
Janus stood in the Mindpalace kitchen, watching one moral side bake without noticing him.
The shady side's shoes clicked on the linoleum as he walked toward the other, but still soft enough that Patton didn't notice.
Janus turns the other to face him, causing Patton to jump before relaxing again.
"Oh, Jan! I didn't hear you come in! Are you ok?" Patton tries to sound as if the other didn't startle him.
"Patton, love. What is going on? You've been in here for hours." Janus wipes some flour out of the other's bangs, pulling him into a tight hug.
"I'm not doing anything, Jan-Honey. Just baking like I always do." Patton shrugs his shoulders, trying to turn away from the deceitful side.
"Patton, we've been married for three years now. Don't you think I know when something is stressing you out? You stress-bake, Patton." Janus lifts Patton's left hand up to his lips, revealing a matching gold band that Janus' left-hand wears.
"Ok, ok. Maybe I'm a little stressed." Patton gives off a nervous laugh, not meeting Janus' eyes.
"Can you fill me in here, love? I don't know what's wrong unless you don't tell me." Janus smiles softly, pecking the other's forehead.
"Virgil...he won't talk to me and I don't know what to do or what I did." Tears start rolling down Patton's cheeks, Janus carefully wiping them away.
"Oh, darling. You know that Virgil is the younger side, right? He's just being a normal teenager, that's all." Janus explains this while glancing at the stairs.
The two ended up baking well into the night, falling asleep on the couch cuddled together.
Virgil comes downstairs, looking into the fridge to just find all of the baked goods in there, glancing back at the two before waking the two on the couch.
"Patton? Why is the fridge filled with nothing but baked goods?" Virgil tilts his head at Patton.
"Well...um..." Patton shrugs, cuddling closer into Janus' side.
Janus looks at Virgil, tilting a head at Patton before matching eyes with the anxious side.
"Patton, I'm sorry about yesterday. It was just a really bad day and I shouldn't have taken it out on you." Virgil avoids the moral side's eyes.
"Oh, Kiddo. We all have bad days, yesterday was a bad day for me, which is why I did all the baking." Patton pulls the other in a hug, Janus smiling behind him.
Hopefully, Patton won't be stress-baking for quite a while.
