THIS STORY TAKES PLACE AFTER THE EVENTS OF PERSONA 5 ROYAL. SPOILERS AHEAD. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.

I don't own Persona or any title related to it. All of that belongs to Atlus and you should go and support the official release.

Just then, everyone heard the bell to Leblanc chime and the door open.

Stepping through the door was a woman with dark brown unkempt hair and eyes to match, dressed in a yellow long sleeve shirt with a beige blazer over top. She also wore a blue denim skirt with white heels on her feet. Adjusting the small back she was wearing, the woman looked around the cafe, "Hello."

The Shujin students blinked for a second before reacting to the new arrival. "Sensei!?"

"Kawakami," Ryuji screamed bug-eyed. "What are you doing here?"

"You're as loud as always Sakamoto-kun," Kawakami sighed while placing her hand on her hip. "And it's Kawakami-Sensei."

Ryuji grumbled a little while the rest of the Shujin students spoke up. "Sorry Sensei, it's just a surprise to see you outside of school," Haru said.

"Yeah, what are you doing…" Before Ann even finished her sentence, gears started to turn in her head. Her eyes widened as she answered her own question. "Wait… Are you here for the party?"

Kawakami nodded while digging through her bag, pulling out one of the red invites. "Yep, sure am. Am I allowed to be?"

"Oh no Sensei, it's not like that." Makoto waved her hands. "It's just a little surprising to hear you're one of Akira's confidants."

"It's ok Nijima-san, I'm just joking." The teacher turned to give Sojiro a polite bow. "It's nice to see you again Sakura-san."

"You too Kawakami-san. And everyone calls me Boss. You drink coffee?"

"Please. I'm not picky so I'll have whatever you recommend."

Sojiro smiled before turning to his coffee making, "Coming right up."

"Are you two already acquainted?" Yusuke asked, glancing back and forth between the cafe owner and the teacher.

Sojiro placed his hand on his chin, "Only a little, we met when I went with the kid to introduce him to the Principal before he started school. Man, feels like a lifetime ago."

"Yeah. Hard to believe that was almost a year ago," nodded the teacher. "Anyway, I don't recognize you two," Kawakami turned to Futaba and Yusuke.

"Oh, my apologies," Yusuke waved his hand. "My name is Yusuke Kitagawa. I attend a school called Kosei so we would not have met before. I am a friend of Akira's."

"Same here, I'm Futaba Sakura. Nice to meet you… It was Kawakami right," Futaba asked.

"Yes. It's nice to meet you both. And I take it you two are also Phantom Thieves."

Makoto tilted her head, "You already know about us? Did Akira tell you?"

Kawakami shook her head, "No, The only thing Akira told me was that he was the leader, but I can kind of guess that the rest of you are Phantom Thieves too, considering everything that happened at Shujin."

The Thieves from Shujin scratched the back of their heads, "Got us there. You're right, the rest of us are Phantom Thieves. Oh, Except for Mishima. He runs the Phan-site."

Mishima waved his hand from the booth behind Ann and Ryuji, "Hello Sensei."

Before She could respond to her other student, the door to the bathroom opened to reveal Hifumi. Gently wiping her hands on her skirt, she walked over to the group and took notice of Kawakami. "Oh, Are you a friend of Akira's? It's nice to meet you. I'm Hifumi Togo. Yusuke's classmate and friend of Akira."

The teacher examined the unfamiliar girl before bowing, "Yes, I'm Sadayo Kawakami. I'm Akira, Takamaki-san and Mishima-kun's homeroom teacher."

Hifumi blinked for a second, "His teacher. That is quite a surprise. Does that mean you also know about Akira's involvement with the Phantom Thieves?"

"Yeah, I know. Are you the same Hifumi-san?"

"Correct. I taught Akira strategy through shogi." Hifumi placed her fingers on her chin. "I apologize if this sounds a bit rude, but how did you become involved with Akira in the first place. You said you're his teacher, but you call him by his first name so that leads me to believe that there's more to the story."

Everyone, including the teacher in question, stared at Hifumi. All eyes turned to Kawakami as she fidgeted. Haru noticed the teacher's behavior and gave her a smile. "Hifumi-chan does bring up a good point. I hope it's not too much to ask how you became acquainted with Akira. But if you're not comfortable…"

"No, it's fine…" Kawakami assured them. "To be honest I'm surprised Akira hasn't told you. You guys did help me with the Takase's."

"Akira kept the details brief," explained Makoto. "The only thing we knew about was what Takase-kun's guardians were doing. That's about it."

Futaba raised her hand from the other end of the bar. "Also, I have no idea what you guys are talking about."

Makoto sipped on her coffee before turning to her, "It's not surprising that you don't Futaba. Akira came to us with the request just after Kaneshiro confessed so you and Haru wouldn't know."

"Then let me start from the beginning." Kawakami took one more sip of her coffee before clearing her throat. "Before I worked at Shujin, I worked at another school and that was my first teaching job. One day, the principal called me into his office to tell me I was in charge of guiding a trouble student. That student was Takase-kun."

"What do you mean by 'guide'," Mishima asked.

"Guide was just the word the principle used," Kawakami grumbled, frustration seeping into her voice. "It was more like push him to transferring to another school."

Her words seemed to catch everyone's attention and Makoto said, "Wait, transfer to another school. Why would they say to do that to a student?"

"Takase-kun was considered a problem child. He would often skip class and when he did show up, he would sleep. The principal wanted me to push him into transferring since he was bringing down the school's performance."

Makoto's expression went sour as she crossed her arms, "So the principle at your previous school was only concerned about the school's reputation." All the Shujin students shared looks of understanding, since they faced the same problem with Principal Kobayakawa.

"Yeah. But when I got to know him, I learned that he wasn't the problem child everyone thought he was." Kawakami smiled, remembering the distant past. "Since his parent's died, Takase-kun lived with some relatives and he had to support himself. Because of that, he couldn't always make it to class because of work."

"Hold on," Sojiro interrupted. "Why did he have to support himself? Didn't you say he lived with relatives."

"They didn't support him," She answered simply. "He had to pay for all of his living expenses on his own."

Sojiro growled in anger, "What?!"

"You'll understand it soon enough." Sojiro looked like he wanted to pry a bit more, but he let the teacher continue. "Once I found out about his situation, I did everything I could to help him. I tutored him after school and helped him with assignments. It took some time, but his grades started to go up." Her smile disappeared, staring into her coffee. "But the school wasn't happy with our arrangement. The principal was mad that I had not pushed Takase-kun into transferring and he threatened me. Either I stop tutoring him or I would be fired."

Everyone was silent for a second, taking in Kawakami's words. Haru asked with a quiet voice, "What happened?"

"I stopped tutoring him. I was so scared of losing my dream job that I buckled. It was a snowy New Year's Eve when I told him. He was on his way to one of his jobs and he acted like it was no big deal, told me it was fine since he had more work. I could tell he was sad about it though." Pausing for a second, Kawakami took a deep breath. "But the worst part of it all was on his way to work he was killed in a car accident."

Haru and Hifumi gasped while everyone stared at the teacher, shocked at the fate of the young man. "That's horrible," said Mishima.

Hifumi nodded, "Fate can be a cruel thing. Condemning those who didn't deserve it."

Futaba wrapped her arms around her legs, "He sounded like a good guy."

"He was," Kawakami smiled. "I was so torn up when he died, and I blamed myself. Telling myself that if it wasn't for the extra lessons, he wouldn't have been so tired."

"You shouldn't hold yourself accountable for what happened Kawakami-san," Hifumi smiled at the teacher. "You didn't know about what would happen that day. You shouldn't blame yourself."

"Hifumi-san is correct," Yusuke added. "You simply did the best that you could. When the school turned their back on Takase-kun, you tried to extend a helping hand to him. That alone speaks volume."

"Yusuke's right. The school should have just let you do your damn job," Ryuji smiled.

Everyone else gave support to Kawakami as she smiled at them. "Thank you. It means a lot to hear you all say that. Anyway, after Takase-kun died the relatives I mentioned came after and threatened me. Saying that it was my fault Takase-kun died and that they would sue me. I wouldn't be charged with a crime, but my reputation as a teacher would be ruined. So, we made a deal."

Sojiro crossed his arms while leaning against the counter, "What kind of deal?"

"I would pay them money every month so they wouldn't go to the Board of Education."

The café owner clicked his teeth. "I get it now. Those guardians only cared about money. They never really cared about the kid."

"Yeah, they kept increasing the amount of the payments, they used my guilt over Takase-kun in order to get me to pay them more money and I let them. I left my previous school a little later and came to Shujin, but I couldn't keep up with the increasing payments. That's what led me to working several part-time jobs. During one of my jobs, I happen to run into Akira which is how we really got to know each other."

"What kind of job was it?" asked Ann.

Kawakami took a sip of her coffee and remained silent for a few seconds, pondering her students' question. Haru spoke up, "You don't have to tell us if you don't want to Sensei."

"No, it's fine," She assured. "You guys saved me from those stupid payments. It's only fair that you all know the truth, but it goes without say that this doesn't leave this room Ok."

"We promise Sensei," Makoto smiled, and everyone nodded while the teacher took in a deep breath.

"Alright…" She was quite for a second longer and a slight blush crawled across her face. "I was a…" The last part came out as a mumble.

Yusuke tilted his head, "I'm sorry Kawakami-san. I couldn't understand you."

"I was a ...id," She repeated.

Futaba tilted her head, "One more time. I didn't hear you either."

"I was a maid."

There was a beat of silence as everyone in the room processed what Kawakami said. She herself was blushing like a tomato. After a few seconds of silence, Ann got the ball rolling once again. "Um… What do you mean you were a maid?"

She dug though her bag and pulled out a brightly colored flyer. "I used to work for this company called Victoria and before you get any ideas it wasn't as sketchy as it sounds. Just housekeeping, Nothing weird or anything like that."

The flyer was passed around to everyone and Sojiro adjusted his glasses, "You must have been in a rough place to go and work for a company like this even as a teacher."

He handed the flyer back to Kawakami. "You're right. If I got caught, it would have caused another scandal for Shujin," nodded the teacher. "But truth be told, I'm grateful to have had that job. I wouldn't have gotten to really know Akira otherwise."

Futaba leaned forward in her seat, "Oh right. Let's get back to that. How'd that happen? Akira doesn't seem like the kind of person to call one of those services without a good reason."

Ann was the first to notice the expressions of Ryuji and Mishima. The two boys were staring at each other, like they had seen a ghost or something. "What's up Ryuji? Why do you look so pale?"

"You as well Mishima-kun," Hifumi pointed out. "Are you perhaps feeling unwell?"

Makoto narrowed her eyes at the two boys. Being the most deductive of the group, a train of thought emerged, and she rested her arms in her lap. "You two wouldn't happen to know why Akira called a maid service?"

Before Mishima or Ryuji got in a word to defend themselves, Kawakami turned in her seat, "They should. They were involved."

All the girls turned to stare at the boys while Yusuke and Sojiro shook their head. "T-that's not true," Ryuji said nervously.

"Don't play dumb Sakamoto-kun," Kawakami continued. "Akira already told me about your little 'Operation Maidwatch'. I was the maid you guys called after all."

Both Mishima and Ryuji twitched in response to the teacher's words, which was more than enough proof that they were hiding something.

Ann turned to her friend and glared at him with flaming intensity, "Care to explain yourself Ryuji?"

"Please do," Haru said with a smile that didn't match her aura.

"I-it's not what you t-think." Ryuji raised his hands in defense. "It was just to make sure it wasn't sketchy. Right Mishima?"

Mishima nodded vigorously, afraid of what the girls might do. "Y-yeah. I-it was just an investigation. We swear."

"Sure…" Futaba rolled her eyes.

"Putting this 'Operation Maidwatch' aside for now," Makoto said while shooting a mild glare at the two boys. "You got to know Akira outside of school after that correct?"

The teacher nodded, "Yeah. After we met that day, he would request me, and I got to know him better. Eventually I told him everything I told you. Even though I was just using him at first to get money to pay the Takese-kun's guardians, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to me even when I would tell him to stop."

Everyone took notice of the glimmer in Kawakami's eye as she talked about Akira. "He's a troublemaker who always butts into other people's problems. But I guess if it weren't for him being like that, I wouldn't have been able to get my drive to teach back. After Takase-kun died, I swore I would never abandon another student like I did him. I know I made mistakes, failing to say anything about Kamoshida, but now I want to keep the promise I made to him. So, I can be the teacher I aspire to be."

"That sounds like a wonderful dream Sensei," Haru smiled. "From what I hear around school, you've been making strides too do exactly that. You seem in a lot higher spirits."

"It's all thanks to Akira," she smiled. "I owe him a lot. When I found out he had been taken into custody, I knew there had to be something I could do to help him. So, I did everything I could to push the school to right a formal complaint about his incarceration. It was a lot of work, but it was worth it to see him set free."

"Indeed. And while I cannot speak on his behalf, I'm sure Akira is grateful for all the work you put in," Yusuke smiled.

Kawakami smiled, "I'm sure he is."

"Pardon my intrusion, but do you mind if I ask you a question Kawakami-san?" Hifumi interrupted. The teacher shook her head and Hifumi continued, "You meet up outside of school using your maid job correct?"

"Yes, that's right."

"I assume Akira paid money to request you. I'm simply curious as to what it is you did for him."

Kawakami took another sip of her coffee. "Nothing major, I would help him smaller chores from time to time. Making coffee for the Phantom Thieves and other random things."

"I guess we should thank you for the coffee then," Yusuke smiled. "Your effort has not gone unappreciated."

"Wait, Akira taught you how to make coffee," Sojiro said in surprise.

She nodded, "He said it was helpful when he was doing his work."

"I hate to sound like a stick in the mud, but mind showing me what he taught you. If he didn't teach you right, then we're going to have a problem."

Everyone chuckled and Kawakami rose to her feet, "Not at all. I may not be as good as you or Akira, but I can manage."

She made her way behind the bar and began brewing a cup of coffee as everyone watched her. After a minute of work, Kawakami poured a cup for Sojiro to try.

The café owner brought the cup to his lips, taking a sniff before drinking some of the black nectar. "Not bad," he smiled. "I can tell the kid taught you right."

Kawakami smiled, "Thanks Boss." She turned to the rest of the group. "Oh, it slipped my mind to ask earlier, but is Akira still grabbing stuff for the party?"

Futaba nodded, "yep, he'll be here soon. Plus, his other friends are still showing up."

"Other friends? Do you know how many are showing up or who they are?"

"Akira didn't mention anything to us, otherwise we wouldn't have been so surprised to see you Sensei," Ann explained.

"I see. I wonder what his other friends are like," pondered the teacher.

Just then, everyone heard the bell to Leblanc chime and the door open.

Entering was another woman but she had her dark blue hair in a messy bob cut. Her dark brown eyes were quite the compliment to the blue dress detailed with a spider's web and small leather jacket. The leggings she wore were torn and the boots she wore added a few inches to her height. Around her neck was a metal cross necklace and leather choker that matched the bracelets on her wrist. "Hey," she said casually.

"Hey Doc," Sojiro smiled. "Just finished work for the day?"

"Yeap, I would have been here sooner if I didn't go home to change."

"I see. Sorry to tell you but we're closed today."

The punk woman smiled, "I know." She dug into the leather bag on her shoulder to pull out a red invite. "I'm here for this little party."

Sojiro chuckled upon seeing the invite, "So you're a friend of Akira's huh. Guess I shouldn't be surprised at this point. Would you like a cup?"

"The usual please." Before the punk woman moved to take a seat, her eyes glanced over to the other person behind the bar. "Hmmm. I didn't know you got a part timer Boss. She seems a little young for you."

Kawakami's face lit up and Sojiro quickly responded, "She's not a part-timer. She's one of Akira's friends."

Kawakami watched as the punk woman looked at her with a piercing expression. It took a second for the teacher to think to respond, "Hello. My name is Sadayo Kawakami. Like Boss said, I'm Akira's home room teacher."

"Tae Takemi. No need to act so nervous. I was only teasing." She smiled at the teacher who nodded her head.

"You know her Boss?" asked Ryuji.

"She's a regular. Runs a clinic not too far down the road. Have a seat Doc, I'll have your coffee ready in a minute."

Takemi nodded and turned her head towards the group of teenagers who sat in the center of the café. All of them staring at the sheer confidence the woman emitted. "And I take it you all are the Phantom Thieves."

"No not all of us," Mishima said, trying to his best not too stare at the new arrival. "I-i'm Yuuki Mishima. I run the Phan-site."

"And I'm Hifumi Togo. Akira's Shogi teacher."

"So, you too have connection with the Phantom Thieves. Interesting. And I suppose that makes the rest of you the group itself."

"You are correct, I'm Yusuke Kitagawa."

"Ryuji Sakamoto."

"Haru Okumura."

"Makoto Nijima."

"Futaba Sakura."

"Ann Takamaki."

"I remember a few of you," Takemi turned to Ann. "You went with Akira to Meji Shrine during the summer correct?"

Ann blinked for a second before her eyes widened. "Oh yeah, now I remember we bumped into you and you told us how to pray at the shrine. Thank you again for that."

"No need to thank me, I was just passing by." The doctor now turned to Makoto and Futaba. "and I remember you two."

"H-how do you know me? I don't know you," Futaba responded nervously, clearly intimidated by the stranger. "Are you a witch or a devil or something?"

"Maybe…" Takemi chuckled.

"Futaba calm down," Makoto turned to her younger teammate. "We called her to check up on you after fell asleep during the summer."

"Oh ok," She turned and bowed her head a little to the doctor. "Sorry Takemi-san. I didn't mean to be rude and call you a witch."

"No worries. I've been called worse."

Everyone stared at the young doctor and she made her way to the bar to sit where Kawakami was sitting previously. Sojiro placed a cup of coffee in front of her, "Here."

"Thanks Boss," Takemi sipped her coffee, before she looked to Kawakami, who still stood behind the bar. "So, how did Akira's teacher get to be involved with the Phantom Thieves."

"Well…" she said nervously. "It's kind of a long story. I was going to ask you the same thing Takemi-san. You said you're a doctor, right? I hope you didn't meet Akira because something serious happened."

"Nothing like that. I guess it isn't fair for me to ask for your story before you know mine." Takemi sipped her coffee, letting out a satisfied hum upon tasting it. "But it goes without saying that this stays between all of us."

"We promise Doc," Ryuji smiled and nodded, an action which everyone else mirrored.

Takemi smiled before turning to stare into the black coffee in her cup, "It was around halfway through April when Akira came to my clinic. We bumped into each other one time before when I came here for coffee, but that's not important."

"I remember that day," Sojiro added. "The kid asked who you were after you left. Seemed pretty interested in the fact you were a doctor."

"Sounds like Akira was already making plans," the doctor mused. "Anyway, He came into my clinic and said something about having some chest pain. A lie in order to get medication for your endeavors as the Phantom Thieves."

Ann tilted her head, "Wait. If you knew it was a lie, then why did you give him the medicine."

"At the time, my reputation in the medical community was black. My nickname was the Plague. As a result, I had lots of people come in with ulterior motives. I only sold Akira the medicine because he seemed like an earnest guy, so it didn't seem like he would get into trouble. How wrong I was."

Takemi's words earned chuckles from everyone and she played with the edge of her cup. "So, I gave him the medicine and sent him on his way. As he was leaving, an old colleague of mine came and made a few accusations about a rumored drug that I made. Akira must have eavesdropped on our conversation because the next time he came, he wanted 'special medicine', told me it was for exams."

"Couldn't he have come up with a better excuse," Makoto sighed.

"Like I said, I've had lots of patients come and ask for special medicine. Any excuse he could have thought of, I've probably heard before."

"And what of the 'special medicine.'," Yusuke asked.

"I was developing my own medicine for a reason I'll get too later. The medicine I created was just a mistake I was meaning to throw out."

"So, what happened," Mishima said nervously.

"Akira was annoyingly persistent. No matter what I told him, he was determined to get the medicine. So, when he offered to work for the medicine, I thought of a good way to make him leave. Basically, I mixed up a mixture with a pungent odor and told him if he were willing to drink it, I would sell him the medicine."

Everyone was quiet. "Please don't tell me," Futaba said nervously.

"Yeap, Drank the whole thing in one swig and passed out from the taste."

"What!?" shouted everyone.

"Doc, don't you think you went a little overboard," Sojiro asked.

"You could have killed him," Kawakami said.

"I honestly didn't expect him to drink it and I was sure he wouldn't die from the mixture. Probably," she said with a smile.

Ryuji stared at the Doctor, eyes wide, "Damn Doc. That's cold."

"I had my reasons for wanting my space. After he woke up, I did call him an idiot for drinking it and we formed a deal."

Haru tilted her head, "A deal?"

"He would be my guniea pig and help me collect data. In exchange, I would sell him the medicine he wanted, and I taught him a little first aid too. Of course, we also agreed that neither of us would say a word of this to anyone, which is why he never told you all this."

"And I hope the test from this point on weren't anything too dangerous Takemi-san," Hifumi asked with a hint of hesitation.

"Everything from then on was done with care," she assured. "Nothing more than some blood work and a few controlled medicine trials. I couldn't lose a perfectly good guniea pig. And before you ask, Akira had every right to stop and I gave him multiple opportunities to do so."

Everyone else seemed to ponder the Doctors words for a moment. Ann was the first to speak, "I guess I really don't have a reason to be upset. Considering how helpful your medicine has been."

"I must agree," Yusuke nodded. "On numerous occasions, the medicine you provided helped us out of many situations."

"Actually, do you mind if I ask you a question Takemi-san?" Mishima said nervously.

The doctor spun in her chair too face teen, crossing her legs, "Yes?"

"Y-you mentioned earlier that you had a bad reputation in the medical community. How did that happen?"

Takemi nodded her head, "It was a long time ago, but I worked for a pharmaceutical company and led the development on a drug that would cure a disease called Crawford-Ende's, an incurable disease that would cause cells to indiscriminately attack other cells throughout the body." Her expression darkened as she took another sip of her coffee. "One day, when we reached the final stage of production, I was removed from my position and my old superior Oyamada took over. He wanted to get famous for completing the drug, so he used his power to push me out and rush the drug. Resulting in a major medical error."

"So, your Boss took your position to get a head," Kawakami growled. "What a jerk."

"Wait what does your Boss's failure have to do with you," Sojiro asked.

"Oyamada used his clout to place the blame on me," The doctor replied simply, not taking her eyes away from the coffee in front of her.

Hifumi's eyes widened, "That is just in excusable, placing the blame on his subordinate while his misconduct goes unpunished."

Sojiro leaned his back against the bar, "How bad was the medical error?"

"The patient involved didn't lose their life, but it was bad enough that I was labeled a quack doctor and ostracized by the medical world."

"And you continued to pursue the creation of the medicine in order to clear your name," Futaba questioned.

Takemi shook her head, "No, I didn't care about my reputation or anything like that. I guess you could say I felt like it was my duty." Everyone raised their eyebrow at the Doctor's choice of words, and she continued. "The patient involved was a little girl named Miwa-chan. Because of the disease, she had a weak and frail body so she couldn't play with kids her age. I was like her when I was a kid, too frail and sickly to play outside with other kids. Missing school to be at a hospital for test was a common theme for my childhood. I hated it so I became a doctor so nobody else would be like me."

Everyone seemed surprised by Takemi's little speech, "That's very nice to hear Takemi-san," Makoto smiled.

"And here I was thinking you were a witch or something," Futaba joked.

"Who says I'm not one," Smiled the doctor.

Everyone laughed at Takemi's comment and Makoto asked a question once everyone calmed down. "So, the data Akira helped gather was for the medicine for Miwa-chan."

The doctor nodded, "Yeah. After the first few clinical trials, I slowly opened up to Akira and told him everything. He was always there to give me the push I needed, especially when Oyamada came to my clinic and lied to me about how Miwa-chan passed away."

Mishima blinked then asked, "Why would he do something so cruel?"

"A little girl and her father came into my clinic one day with an emergency, I asked them a few questions and come to find out the girl was a patient of Oyamada. I helped quell the girl's symptoms and let them go free of charge, a small way of getting back at Oyamada I suppose. But after that, a few more of his patients began to come to my clinic."

Ann had a scowl on her face as she shook her head, "So he was just being petty."

Takemi snickered, "I suppose. I nearly gave up on medicine all together after that. Had you all not stepped in and changed Oyamada's heart when you did, I don't know where I'd be. So, thanks…"

Ryuji placed his hands behind his head, "No worries."

"It was no trouble," Yusuke smiled. "Akira came to us with the request so were glad to have helped."

Takemi let out at amused hum. "There's a sort of comical irony to it all. Our relationship was supposed to be nothing more than a give-and-take, but it turned into something more." A glimmer appeared in Takemi's eye as she smiled. "After I was tossed aside by the medical world, I retreated into my work and was cold to the people I was supposed to help. Akira not only helped me complete the medicine to save Miwa-chan but helped me meet the townspeople and made me realize a part of being a doctor I had forgotten. It's funny, trying to push him away led me to opening back up to my patients."

"Trust me Doc, you're not the only one who's been helped by Akira," Sojiro looked around the room and Takemi followed his gaze.

"I'm sure I'm not. That kid doesn't know how to keep his nose out of other people's business," She joked.

"That's the truth," Kawakami smiled.

A quick laughed was shared by everyone, especially the adults who relied on Akira so much.

"It's because of Akira that the medicine was complete, so I made sure to announce his name as a key figure at multiple medical conferences I did for the new medicine so I could prove his good character," Takemi continued. "I wanted to increase his chances of getting out of juvenile hall as much as possible."

"I'm sure Akira appreciates all the work you put in Doc," Futaba said with a wide grin.

"He better," she smiled while everyone laughed. "Boss mind if I put my bag somewhere. I don't want to have it over my shoulder the whole party."

"Yeah, you can put it up stairs on the table if you want. This way it's out of the way."

"Sounds good," she smiled. "Be back in a second."

"I'll drop my stuff off too," Kawakami moved from behind the bar with her things too and the two went up the stairs.

"Akira's friend group is pretty strange huh," Futaba smiled.

Ann responded, "To be fair, the rest of us aren't exactly normal either Futaba."

"Futaba's right though. First, Kawakami then Doc," Ryuji Shrugged. "None of us expected that."

"It does make you curious as to who is going to come in next," Haru smiled.

Just then, everyone heard the bell to Leblanc chime and the door open.

Authors notes:

I'm sorry this chapter took so long for me to get done. Life stuff happened: I moved; internet was down for a few days. Lots of things happened back to back so I'm sorry.

Getting into Sadayo's part, the main issue was that I kept adding too much. Obviously, my feelings for Sadayo's Confidant line are apparent by my first storyDiscovered Secret (Which you should go read if you haven't), her part end up being way bigger than it should have been so I had to trim it down. I'm still happy with how it turned out. Also as a side note, I realized that after I finished her part I wrote her name as SADAYO instead of KAWAKAMI. Had to fix that too.

Takemi's part was interesting because she's basically a tsudere. At the beginning she comes off as a rather scary person, but everyone finds out that under that leather is a kind and caring individual. Which is why her part was fun to right too. I also had her change out of her lab coat outfit just for the fact that I love her casual clothes.

See you all next time :)
