Just then, everyone heard the bell to Leblanc chime and the door open.

Everyone's attention went to the door as a long blond-haired woman stepped through. Around the women's head was a navy-blue headband matching the long sleeve shirt she wore under her light purple, strangely designed dress. Her leggings also matched the navy-blue color and paired well with the dark grey slippers.

The blonde women look across to the various people in the cafe. "Hello," she smiled and bowed politely, "My name is Chihaya Mifune. I was told to come here for a party." Digging through the bag on her shoulder, Chihaya pulled out one of the red invitations.

Sojiro smiled, "By Akira I assume?"

The blonde girl smiled, "Yeah. I must say that this is a lovely cafe."

"Thanks. I'm Sojiro Sakura. I own this cafe and I was Akira's Guardian while he was living here. Have a seat. Would you like a cup of Coffee?"

Chihaya smiled as she nodded, "Would it be alright if I had Iced Coffee please?"

"Coming right up." Sojiro turned towards his numerous Coffee making devices and began brewing while Chihaya walked over to the group of teenagers gathered around the center of the Cafe. "Hello. It's nice to meet you all," she bowed again politely.

"It's nice to meet you Mifune-chan," Haru said, giving a cordial smile and wave. "I'm Haru Okumura."

"Chihaya is fine Okumura-san. I'm not too big on formalities."

Haru chuckled, "Alright."

Makoto raised her hand, "I'm Makoto Nijima."

"Futaba Sakura."

"Yusuke Kitagawa."

"Ann Takamaki."

"Ryuji Sakamoto."

"Hifumi Togo."

"Yuuki Mishima." The teen smiled politely, "We've actually met before in Akihabara once before."

Chihaya blinked for a moment as a thinking expression crossed her face before saying, "Oh that's right. You were that fan-boy that was with Akira that one time."

Ryuji barely held back a snicker as Ann hit the boy on the shoulder. Mishima scratched the back of his head, "Yeah, that's me."

"Oh, I'm sorry Mishima-kun. I didn't mean to be rude. I'm sorry," She bowed in apology.

"No it's fine Chihaya-chan," Mishima waved his hand dismissively. "I was kind of a fan boy towards Akira back then. I was working through some stuff."

"I see." The blonde woman stared at Mishima for a second, "I feel that your bond with Akira is much deeper than it was back than."

Mishima smiled and Ann tilted her head, "What do you mean you 'feel the bond'?"

"Chihaya-chan is a famous fortune teller. People call her the Maiden of Relief ," Mishima explained.

"Please, The famous part is a bit of an exaggeration." Chihaya fidgeted uncomfortably, "And I don't go by that Maiden of Relief anymore."

Before anyone could make an attempt to add anything else, Ryuji shot out of his chair, "Now I remember, you're that fortune teller me and Akira saw when we went to Shibuya."

"Oh, That's right you were that boy who I sensed who would have women troubles."

The color vanished from Ryuji's face and he shivered as everyone looked at him curiously. "What's she talking about Ryuji?" Ann asked.

Before Ryuji could give any kind of verbal response, footsteps could be heard coming down from the stairs. "You two where up there for a while," Sojiro said. "What took you so long?"

Takemi just looked over to Sojiro and flashed a half smile, "Like I would miss the chance to see my little guinea pigs living arrangement." She then turned her attention to the new arrival. "And who might you be?"

Chihaya bowed, "Hello my name Chihaya Mifune. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"You're a polite one. Tae Takemi," the doctor said with a casual wave.

Kawakami bowed slightly, "I'm Sadayo Kawakami. It's nice to meet you Mifune-san."

"Just Chihaya is fine," she smiled. "No need to be formal. This is a party after all."

A faint chuckle escaped Takemi's lips, "I suppose that's true. Then just Tae ok."

The fortune teller nodded her head as she smiled then looked over everyone in the cafe. "I'm a bit surprised. I didn't expect the Phantom Thieves to be such a large group."

"Not all of us are members Chihaya-san," Hifumi smiled. "I'm Akira's Shogi teacher. I taught him strategy to use while a Phantom Thief"

"I run the Phan-site," Mishima added.

"I'm Akira's home room teacher."

"I supplied Akira with medicine for his indevoreors."

Chihaya nodded her head, placing her fingers on her chin. "I see, so that would make the rest of you the group itself."

Ann nodded her head, a wide smile on her face. "Yeah, that's us."

"In that case," she bowed again. "Allow me to thank you all properly for your help with Chairman Fukurai."

Hifumi blinked a few times and tilted her head, "Chairman?"

Chihaya scratched the back of her head sheepishly, "It's a long story."

Takemi closed her eyes and smiled a little, "A story that involves Akira helping you?"

"How did you know?" Chihaya stammered out.

"Lucky guess," the doctor said cooly, glazing around the room.

Everyone else chuckled and Chihaya swept the room with her eyes. "I see. You all are similar to me." She chuckled, "Alright let me start from the beginning."

"Hold on," Sojiro placed a cup of iced coffee at the open stoll at the bar. "Have a seat before you get wrapped up in a story."

Chihaya nodded and moved to sit at the stoll while Takemi and Kawakami sat at the booth closest to the door. "Your coffee is delicious Sakura-san," letting the ice clink in the glass as she sat it down.

"Good to hear," he smiled, "and everyone calls me Boss."

"Ok Boss." After another quick sip of her coffee, Chihaya took a deep breath in order to collect her thoughts. "Alright, I should start from the beginning." She cleared her throat then began to stare into her coffee. "While our first run in was when Akira and Sakomoto-san came to Shinjuku, we met properly around the end of June when he came by while I was working."

"We may have missed that part while we were upstairs," Kawakami said. "But, what do you do?"

"Oh. I'm a fortune teller. It's possible you've seen me near the movie theater in Shinjuku."

The teacher nodded slowly, "I see."

Takemi simply played with the edge of her cup, "I have a hard time believing in stuff like that. No offense."

"No worries," Chihaya chuckled. " A lot of people share that mindset Tae-san. Akira certainly did when he first came to me, it was clear that he was skeptical even after I read his fortune. But the next time he came by, his attitude changed."

"Seeing is believing I guess," Futaba shrugged. "And we've seen some pretty weird stuff."

The rest of the Phantom Thieves nodded while Chihaya took another sip of her coffee, her expression changing into a somber one. "Anyway, back to what I was saying. When I read Akira's fortune the first time, I sensed that a terrible fate awaited him so I tried to sell him a Holy Stone that was to protect him. He denied it at first but the next time he came around, he bought one. I still feel really bad about that considering how much they were."

"You shouldn't worry about stuff like that," Ryuji said, giving a dismissive wave, bringing his cup to his lips. "How much could a little rock cost?"

Chihaya fidgeted in her seat, "Ummm… It was one hundred thousand Yen."

Ryuji choked on his drink and coughed vigorously while everyone's eyes were wide as they stared at Chihaya. "Seriously!? One hundred thousand," he shouted.

Ann smacked her friend on the head, "Ryuji, inside voice." While Ryuji rubbed his head, She turned to look back at the fortune teller. "But seriously Chihaya-san, one hundred thousand Yen. What were these Holy Stones made of? Gold or something."

"No," she answered. "They were just decorated bits of rock salt." Before anyone could express their surprise, Chihaya waved her hands frantically. "I did return the money to him eventually. And I honestly didn't want to sell him the stone, it's just I was in a tricky situation."

"This involved this 'Chairman' you mentioned previously," Yusuke asked.

"Yeah. Back then I used to be part of a group called the Assembly of the Divine Power or ADP for short. They're the ones that called me 'the Maiden of Relief."

Mishima gained a thinking expression, "I've heard about them. They're a group that claimed to use supernatural powers to help people fix their problems. Like psychics and stuff."

Chihaya nodded, "That's what they told everyone, but they were just a bunch of liars and scam artists. They would host seminars and give people some mind-altering drug, then encourage people to donate to the ADP." She clenched her fist tightly, shaking her head. "It was madness. Some people went missing after seminars and some families got ruined. And it was all the Chairman's doing. Thank you all again for making him confess. You have no idea how many people you've helped."

The Phantom Thieves just smiled at the woman while everyone else tried to take in what they heard. "That's awful," Kawakami said.

"How did you even get mixed up in a group of scam artists in the first place," Sojiro asked. "You seem like a nice girl."

"I'm not from Tokyo originally," Chihaya continued. "I'm from a small-town way up in the mountains. The population there consisted of older people so the town was very traditional. A long time ago when I was young, I once predicted a major earthquake. The villagers revered me as a messenger of God since my prediction helped save a couple of lives. But I kept predicting disasters, so they started to blame me for everything. They would call me a monster and throw stones through my windows when I locked myself away to try and avoid it all. It all came to a point when an Angry mob came to my house and burned it down."

"Oh my," Haru gasped.

"That's horrible," Makoto shook her head.

"I left as soon as I graduated highschool. Since I didn't have any money or a place to live, I took the first job that fell into my lap. It was at some nightclub and that's where I met the chairman. He said he knew I was a runaway since he was a psychic. Of course it was obvious considering that I was walking around with my luggage." Chihaya ran her hand through her hair, "Once he told me that, I told him what happened in my town and he told me that my power's were meant to help the unfortunate." A sigh escaped her lips, "I broke down and cried when he told me that."

"I see," Yusuke nodded slowly, his tone soft and understanding. "You knew what the Chairman was doing was wrong but you said nothing out of a sense of obligation since he took you in." The artist gripped his arm. "I understand that feeling myself."

"Inari," Futaba placed her hand on his shoulder, giving her friend a comforting smile.

"That's part of it Kitagawa-kun, but I was also doing it to satisfy myself." Everyone turned back to Chihaya. "After being called a monster for so long by everyone in my hometown, part of me started to believe that it was true. I believed that I would never escape the fate of being a monster. I sold people the Holy Stones as a way to try and help them, even though I didn't believe they could escape their fate. I believed that fate was absolute and could never be changed." There was a brief pause as a smile krept it's way onto Chihaya's lips. "Then I met Akira."

Along with her smile, everyone took notice of the glimmer that appeared in her eye. "He would defy the fate I believed to be absolute." A small chuckle escaped her lips, "at first, I couldn't believe it and I tried a few times to prove that fate was absolute. Of course every test proved to be wrong. When I started to question everything, Akira was always there to encourage me to keep an open mind, telling me that I was neither Madien nor Monster. To not let my past shape the way I looked to the future. If it hadn't been for him, I wouldn't have been able to speak so honestly to the people who relied on my guidance." Chihaya spun in her chair to face the group. "I know now that fate is not absolute and as long as you're willing to change it you can. So from now on if people come to me for advice, I'll encourage them, and they'll encourage me. That to me is the truest form of fortune telling."

Makoto was the first to smile, "That sounds like a wonderful idea Chihaya-san."

"That's the kind of fortune telling I'm willing to believe," Takemi said with a faint smile.

"It's a good start," Chihaya smiled. "I owe Akira so much. I wouldn't have come to this realization if not for him. That's why I spread the word to all the people that would come to see me that Akira was wrongly imprisoned. We all worked together to help push for his sentence to be overturned."

"I'm sure the kid's happy to know that," Sojiro leaned back against the bar.

"Yeah," Chihaya drank the rest of her iced coffee before standing from her spot. "Pardon me Boss, but would it be alright if I used your bathroom."

He nodded, "Sure it's just before the stairs. You can put your bag on the table upstairs if you like, so you don't have to carry it the whole party."

"That would be great. Pardon me," Chihaya bowed politely, before making her way to the bathroom.

Once she was inside the group turned to each other. "How could anyone call a nice girl like her a monster," grumbled Mishima.

"I agree," Hifumi nodded. "To have her house burned down just because of some predictions, that's just horrible."

"I wouldn't worry about it too much," Takemi smiled as she waved her hand. "It looks like she's gotten over it thanks to our resident wonderboy."

"Yeah," Ann nodded her head with a big smile on her face. "It's nice to hear that we're not the only ones who have been encouraged by Akira."

"I doubt we're the last either," Futaba added. "His other Confidants are prolly the same way. Whoever they are."

Just then, everyone heard the bell to Leblanc chime and the door open.

Emerging through the door of the old cafe was a woman dressed in a black graphic T-shirt paired with a white long-sleeved under shirt with a set of sunglasses dangling from the collar. Around her waist was a large pink fanny pack which acted as the belt for her blue jeans. The black shoes she was wearing matched her black bob cut.

There was a beat of silence as everyone stared at the new arrival before they noticed the bottle of, what everyone suspected to be, alcohol. Before anyone could say a word, the black haired women raised the bottle into the air, "Woah, let's get this party started," She cheered unceremoniously.

Again, there was a beat of silence before Takemi chuckled, "This one seems fun."

Sojiro stepped in quickly, "I take it your one of Akira's friends," his tone skeptical with a hint of annoyance.

"Sure am," she reached and unzipped a zipper on her pack to pull out a slightly crumpled invite. "Invited by Akira. Speaking of which," the woman paused for a second glance around the room. "Is he here?"

"I'm afraid not," Yusuke answered. "He told us he had to grab some other things before the party. He should be here soon."

"He better," chuckled the black haired women. "That kid misses his own party, I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind."

A small chuckle came from Takemi and Sojiro turned back to the new arrival. "I'm Sojiro Sakura, The kid's guardian, but everyone calls me Boss. Want me to pour a glass for you," he asked motioning to the bottle in her hand.

She grinned widely, "Sure. I'm ready to party."

Handing the bottle over to Sojiro, the black haired women watched the cafe owner go to the opposite end of the bar, uncork the bottle and begin pouring the alcohol down the sink's drain.

"Hey! What the hell are you doing?!" she screamed.

Sojiro turned to face the new arrival with a sharp and telling glare. "I don't care if you're a friend of the kid, but there are minors here. I won't have you getting drunk in my shop. I'm sure Akira doesn't want that either."

The black haired woman opened her mouth to respond, but the mention of Akira managed to make any retort she had fall flat. Instead she let out an annoyed groan, "Fine, but you're paying for that bottle."

"Fine. You want some coffee," Sojiro asked, tossing the empty bottle in the trash as he moved in front of the coffee-brewing equipment.

"Whatever, as long as it's strong."

"Coming right up." Sojiro went to work brewing while the black haired women walked up to the group of teenagers.

Immediately, her gaze went to Mishima, who shuttered as their eyes met. "Well if it isn't Mishima. How are you doing?" She asked as she walked over to ruffle the boy's hair.

"H-hi Ohya-san," Mishima said, clearly uncomfortable with the familiarity of the woman.

Ryuji tilted his head as he asked for everyone's sake, "You know her Mishima?"

The teen didn't even get to respond as the black haired woman realized something, "Oh, I didn't introduce myself. Should have done that sooner." She straightened her posture and gave a polite wave to the group. "Name's Ichiko Ohya, Ace Reporter for Maiasa Newspaper. Nice to meet you guys."

"A reporter huh," Takemi mused, a sly grin on her face as she sipped her coffee. "Our wonderboy certainly has a strange friend group."

Ohya laughed, "He certainly does. You're not an exception either Dr. Takemi."

Everyone blinked at the reporter's knowledge, but Takemi seemed unfazed. "So you know who I am."

"Yep. A coworker of mine is reporting on the drug you helped make. Your name's been making the rounds in the medical community." Ohya then turned to the remainder of the group, "I actually know a few of you aside from just Mishima." She turned to face Hifumi, "The rising shogi player Hifumi Togo. And Ann Takamaki, a model who's been making the rounds herself." Taking Ann's surprised expression, Ohya explained, "I have a friend who works at your agency, your name comes up in conversation every now and again so I looked into your work."

"R-right," Ann answered with a still visible amount of shock.

Hifumi blinked, unsure of how to respond, "H-hello, it's nice to meet you Ohya-san."

"Just Ohya is fine." She then turned to glance back and forth between Yusuke and Haru. "Yusuke Kitagawa, former apprentice of Madarame. And Haru Okumura, daughter of Kunikazu Okumura. We actually met at Nakamise Street before."

Haru fidgeted slightly at the mention of her father, but smiled all the same, "That's right. It's a pleasure to meet you formally Ohya."

"Your information network seems quite impressive," Yusuke commented.

"Of course. A good reporter keeps their ears and eyes open at all times." Her smile grew into a full on grin. "You never know where the next big story will come from. That being said, Who are the rest of you?"

"Ryuji Sakamoto," waved Ryuji.

"Futaba Sakura."

"Makoto Nijima"

"Nijima," Ohya said with surprise. "Like Sae Nijima, the public prosecutor."

"She's my older sister," nodded Makoto.

"Wow," she smiled again. "This just keeps getting more and more interesting."

Lastly she turned to Kawakami, who took the hint, "I'm Sadayo Kawakami. I'm a teacher at Shujin."

The sound of footsteps came from the stairs and Chihaya appeared without her bag. "Oh, It's nice to meet you. I'm Chihaya Mifune. Please call me Chihaya," she bowed politely.

"Like I told them, Ichiko Ohya. You're that Fortune teller that sets up in Shibuya right, near the theater."

Chihaya tilted her head. "Have you seen me before?"

"Yeah, You set up near my favorite bar. We should get drinks one day."

"Sure I'd be happy too." she smiled, completely missing the demonor of the person she was talking too.

With a quick unzip of her bag, Ohya pulled out one of her business cards, "Here's my number, call me when you're free."

Chihaya smiled and bowed politely before making her way to the booth with Kawakami and Takemi. "It's nice to meet you all and if I were to be a betting woman, the Phantom Thieves would be you guys including Akira," she pointed as the group spread among the center table while smiling, "This is quite the rag-tag group of misfits we got here."

"Hey," grumbled Ryuji. "How did you even get to know Akira in the first place anyway?"

"Interested in my story huh," Ohya pondered the teen's question then formed her lips into a smile, "Well since you guys helped get the chief off my back, I guess I can tell you my story. But first, is my coffee ready Boss?"

Sojiro placed the fresh cup in the empty spot Chihaya occupied, "Here."

Ohya took her spot at the bar and gave the coffee a quick sniff before taking a drink, "Not bad," she smiled. "Way better than I was expecting."

Sojiro did his best to hide his annoyance, "Thanks. So, how'd you meet the kid?"

"Oh right," Ohya placed her cup down and spun in her chair to face the majority of the group. "The first time I met Akira was about midway through May. I was following up on some juicy rumors I heard about Madarame and what he was doing to his pupils when I ran into Akira and these two outside of Madarame's house." Ohya pointed with her finger to Ryuji and Ann. "What were you guys doing, getting info on your next target or something?"

"Yeah, something like that," Ann answered with a half hearted smile.

"Knew it," chuckled the reporter. "Anyway, I gave Akira my business card since my reporter instincts told me to keep a close eye on him. And I was right, since he contacted me about a month later looking for information."

"What kind of information," Chihay asked.

"He wanted to know who was controlling Shibuya. I'm sure you all remember Kaneshiro right."

Makoto nodded her head, a mixture of surprise and understanding in her eyes, "I see. So that's how you got Kaneshiro's name."

"Yeah, I had him meet me at my favorite bar in Shibuya and we traded information. Information about Kaneshiro for info on the Phantom thieves."

Kawakami said in a low tone, taking her turn to be skeptical, "You had a minor meet you in a bar?"

"Hey it was the best place to meet," Ohya tried to defend herself. "Considering what he was asking I had to know if he was serious or not. So yeah, I told him about Kanishiro in exchange for a reliable third party source about the Phantom Thieves, who turned out to be Mishima here."

"Don't remind me," Mishima placed his head on the table. "You devil."

Haru could tell the boy didn't want to dwell on the subject much longer so she continued for him, "But this wasn't the only time you met correct?"

The reporter nodded her head, "A little bit after that, he came to me saying he had more information regarding the Phantom Thieves. At first I thought he wanted to trade information again, but he gave me the information free of charge. Said he wanted to make the Phantom Thieves more popular or something like that. So we formed a deal, I would take the information he gave to me and write positive articles about the Phantom Thieves."

"So you used a high schooler as an informant for your work," Takemi commented. "Is that really a good thing to do?"

"I really didn't have a choice, my chief made me cover the Phantom Thieves so I couldn't waste this opportunity. And yeah, I was happy at first, but part of me was skeptical. Some random kid came to me in my time of need with information I needed. It was too good to be true," Ohya's expression became a bit more remorseful. "so I did some digging into Akira's background and found his criminal record. I still feel really bad about that."

There was a beat of silence as everyone registered the sincerity of Ohya's words. Ann was the first to offer some assurance, "I'm sure Akira doesn't hold it against you Ohya. After all, the articles you wrote helped keep a part of the public on our side."

"Ann's right," Haru smiled. "When the public turned against us after my father died, your articles helped quite a bit. It was nice to see that you were still willing to write positive articles about us even when everyone else wasn't."

Ohya let out a half hearted chuckle while she rubbed the back of her head, "Thanks Okumura-san. I'm glad to hear I wasn't totally useless." She placed her hand back in her lap, "Once I found out about Akira's criminal record, I told him the real reason why I wanted the information he had." Ohya took a deep breath and rested her elbows on her knees. "You see before I wrote entertainment articles, I did politics and I had a partner named Kayo. The two of us were a well-known team and blew the lids off countless government scandals."

"I think I've seen a few of your articles in the past," Sojiro placed his hand on his chin. "You had a pretty big reputation back then."

Ohya gave a small nod as she clutched her hands, "'had' is the key word in that sentence. Until one day Kayo and I were on the trail of a certain bureaucrat. He was tough to get leads on since he was pretty well guarded, but one night I got a voicemail from Kayo saying she was onto something big. After that, Kayo went missing and the bureaucrat we were following was found dead outside a love hotel."

"Oh my," Hifumi gasped. "That's horrible."

"Outside a love hotel," Ryuji asked. "Don't tell me…"

"Don't even finish that thought," Ohya said sharply, anger directed towards Ryuji. Everyone else shared the same reaction at the reporter's seriousness. "The police ruled it as a crime of passion and named Kayo the lead suspect," Ohya clicked her teeth. "Accusing her without any evidence, that's when I knew something was up."

"You began investigating to try and find your friend Kayo to prove her innocence," Makoto asked.

"Yeah, That was the plan until my chief caught wind of my private investigation. Once he found out, he cut me off from my sources right when I found out where Kayo was. This is when you guys stepped in, so thank you. I mean it."

Ryuji just grinned widely, "No sweat, glad we were able to help."

Futaba smiled, "Yeah. Bringing down the bad guys is what we do. So what's up with your friend Kayo? Is she alright?"

Ohya didn't answer, instead turning back around in her seat to take another sip of coffee. A moment of silence passed before she let out a breath. "I found her. She's in a mental hospital because she suffered a mental shutdown."

Haru, Hifumi, Ann and Makoto visibly gasped while the rest of the group looked shocked, even Takemi's eyes were wide.

"A mental shutdown. That means..." Sojiro's face shifted into a scowl as he let out in a growlish voice. "Shido."

"Yeah, turns out the bureaucrat we were following was a close confidant of Shido. He probably killed him so nothing could be traced back to him and made Kayo have a mental shutdown to cover his tracks."

"Damn that bastard," Ryuji said slamming his fist onto his leg.

Yusuke scowled deeply, "Just how much influence did he have to kill a fellow politician and not have it linked back to him."

"It's just the kind of man he is," Sojiro continued "Doesn't matter who you were. If you got in his way, he'd crush you like a bug without a thought." He turned to look at Ohya, a compassionate smile on his face, "I'm sorry that happened. I know personally just how far Shido's ruthlessness can go."

"It's fine Boss," Ohya offered a small smile. "Kayo's alive and since I found her, I was able to get her special hair clip that had a video camera in it. Thanks to it, I have evidence to prove Kayo's innocence pretty soon."

"That's wonderful to hear Ohya," Kawakami smiled.

"It's not much," smiled the reporter. "I only got this far thanks to Akira."

Ohya spun in her stool to face the group and the shine in her eye was clear to see. "Honestly that kid is something else. When I told him about Kayo, he stuck with me till the very end. He supported me even when the chief tried to up my work quota to stop my investigation. And it wasn't just the information either, he gave so much moral support. It's thanks to him that I know what I'm going to do in the future." Ohya clenched her fist and assumed this piercing glare, "Shido's not the only bastard out there that that's going to pay. Everything his little cohorts did, every crooked deal, every cent of dirty money. I'll expose everything they did so I can avenge what they did to Kayo and Akira. Mark my words every single one of them will call me the devil when I'm done with them."

The furious glare seemed to lift everyone's spirits, "Sounds like you got a lot of work ahead of you Ohya," commented Hifumi.

"Yeah. Since Shido's confession, the stories haven't stopped rolling in. It was hard to find time to help Akira get out of juvie. I went back to his hometown and gathered testimonies from people to use in the special article about him. I hoped that it would help expose the discrepancies in the court's decision." Ohya's expression changed into a wide smile. "There's no way I'd let a modern revolutionary go down like that."

"I'm sure the kid appreciates what you did," Sojiro offered with a smile.

"He better be. I sti-," Ohya's sentence was cut off by the ringing of a cell phone. Pulling her phone out of her pocket, the reporter stood from her seat. "Sorry got to take this, it's the chief. Can you get me a refill Boss?"

"Sure, you can use the bathroom to make your call."

She smiled politely and made her way to the bathroom.

"She seems nice," Haru smiled.

Futaba nodded, "Definitely interesting. That's for sure."

"I feel bad for anyone who gets on her bad side," Ann laughed. "The way she glared at Ryuji, so cool."

"Not going to piss her off any time soon," Ryuji glanced down at his phone. "Speaking of time, I hope Akira gets here soon."

Makoto smiled, "Just be patient Ryuji. Some more of his Confidants are still showing up."

Just then, everyone heard the bell to Leblanc chime and the door open.

Author's Notes:

I'm so sorry this chapter is so late. I've been busy with work and I had a severe case of writer's block so it was hard to get my stuff in order.

On that note I would like to thank Cosmic Sky for giving me some nice advice that helped me get back in gear. Thank you.

Now let's talk about the two Condidant's:

Chihaya's part was interesting to write because it's not very concrete what she gives Akira, not like Takemi's medicine or Sojiro's coffee. I think that's the part I struggled with but in the end I found a good result. As a side note, Chihaya has a very fun distinction amongst the confidants. Only Four other confidants outside of the Thieves are called by their first name; Chihaya, Sae, Hifumi and Shinya. Fun Fact.

Ohya was more fun than I was expecting. With her wild and crazy personality, it was kind of fun to have her thrown into the mix so to speak. Also, I didn't include the part of them fake dating because I felt like Ohya had too many things stacked against her for this first time meeting everyone. Personally, Ohya isn't my favorite confidant, but I really enjoyed her part. Way more than I thought I would.

It's hard to say what things are going to be like going forward, so just keep your eyes open.

See you next time ;)
