Chapter Two

The conversation between Piper and Alex continued rather smoothly and the fact that the blonde woman was beyond drunk was making it easier for a star struck Alex to talk. Piper was shit faced drunk at this point and Alex was amazed by the fact that the blonde woman had still managed to look so beautiful. Heck even her slurring was cute to Alex. As Piper raised her hand to ask for another round of drinks, Alex stopped her since Piper was in no condition to drink anymore.

"I think that's it for today . We should get going. It's almost 1am." Alex told her and Piper looked visibly upset over the fact that they had to leave.

"Can I drop you somewhere? Where are you staying?" Alex asked her and she was met with a slurred response that made no sense at all and Alex highly doubted if Piper could even walk at this point, she was that drunk.

Sensing that she did not have any other option, Alex decided to take Piper to her apartment. On the cab ride home, Alex was wrecked with worry and anxiety because the person sitting next to her was far from anyone ordinary and she was also worried what Piper would think about her the following morning. She was worried if Piper would think that she was a creep. She was brought out of her musing when the cab driver announced that they had reached their destination and when she and Piper exit the cab, she can feel his eyes on Piper and she hurriedly ushers Piper inside before he recognizes her.

Alex takes the blonde woman to her bedroom and gets rid of her shoes and tucks her in and Alex is still surprised with the turn of events of the night. Who would have thought that Alex would have gotten a chance to meet Piper Chapman, get drunk with her and finally have her in her apartment, in her bedroom, infact. At the last thought Alex could feel her cheeks redden and she exited her room and made her way to the couch, the smile firmly placed on her lips.

The next morning Piper woke up with a terrible headache and she tried to figure out where she was. She remembers drinking a lot and remembers flashes of a tall, dark haired woman with glasses, her eyes fall on the bedside table and it was the picture of the same woman; Alex, she finally remembers now. She walked out of her room to find Alex at the kitchen, fixing a mug of coffee. "Good morning. Sleep well?" Alex greets her and all she does is nod as she sits on the stool at the kitchen island. "How did I end up here?" Piper questions as she gulps down her coffee. "You were too drunk to walk or answer where you lived, so I had no other option. I hope I didn't upset you." Alex asks her and Piper can see uncertainty wash over Alex as she looks worried about her response. Piper smiles at her and places her hand over Alex and she can feel her visibly relax. "Thank you so much Alex." She tells her sincerely and smiles back at her. And it was the truth; there was something about Alex that made her feel at ease even though they had just met. The moment is disturbed by the shrill ringing of the blonde's cell phone and Piper smiles apologetically as she says that she needs to leave.

"It was nice meeting you Ms. Alex Vause. Maybe we will see each other again." Piper says as she pulls her in for a hug, she smells like vanilla and honey and Alex can't help but smile at that.

"It was nice meeting you too Piper." Alex told her as the elevator doors closed between them.

It had been almost five days since Alex had last seen the blonde actress in her elevator and now she was quickly losing any hopes of ever seeing her again. Alex visited the bar every single night in the hopes of seeing Piper but it was as though she was lost, no news of her and Alex was getting more and more desperate to see her once again, desperate enough to consider messaging her on her social media account but quickly dodges the idea since the chances of Piper replying to her were zero to none. Needless to say Alex was in an extremely bad mood all throughout the week and almost all her colleagues steered clear of her. She sat at her table with a manuscript in front of her but her thoughts are somewhere else when the ringing of her cell phone brings her back to reality.

"Hello." Alex greets in her husky voice.

"Did you miss me, Ms. Vause?" Alex is all smiles as she recognizes Piper's voice.

"Well yes, I did. How did you get my number?" Alex asks rather intrigued and she can hear Piper smile on the other end.
"What can I say, I have my ways Alex." the blonde laughs and continues "Are you free tonight? I was wondering if we could grab dinner together and have some real conversation, conversation that I will actually remember."

Alex cannot believe what was happening in her life but whatever it was, it was great.

"Yes, I would be happy to grab dinner with you tonight." Alex replied without a second thought and she could hear the blonde woman smile on the other side. Piper tells her that she would text her the address where they would meet and Alex cannot wait for the evening to come any sooner.

Alex Vause is going to have dinner with the Hollywood star, her long time celebrity crush, Piper Chapman. When the whole thing registered on her mind, a feeling of anxiety washed over her.

"Holy shit, what have I agreed to?"
