A white Buffalo pulled up before the garage of a small house, a girl with long, wavy black hair stepping out and heading into the home, her aunt immediately scolding her, "Why didn't you call!? I thought you were dead after what happened to the IAA building, do you even check your phone?! Are you listening to me?!"
"Not now, Aunt Glynda, it's just been a busy day and I just want to sit back and relax before another job pops up." Blake defended.
Glynda growled in frustration, turning and heading into the living room without another word, relieving Blake of an argument. Her momentary peace was interrupted by a ring at the door, Blake groaning as she was forced to answer it. Her dread was only heightened by her finding her old accomplice on the other side, Sun asking, "Yo, where the hell you been?"
"Sun, get out of here, you know how my aunt feels about you!" Blake demanded.
"Oh, I see, you runnin' with some new crew, gettin' yo head all up in the clouds about how the world really is and how it's better than the hood. Shit, pussy, you never forget where you come from!"
"Sun, I don't need to listen to you preach at me about how I live my life, goodbye." Blake said, readying to slam the door in his face.
Her attempt was stopped as Glynda's hand locked onto the door, Blake turning in shock to face her glaring aunt, the feminist asking, "Do you want to be deflowered by Sun? Is that what you really want?"
Blake sputtered at the question, stammering for an answer as Glynda cut back in, forcing herself and Blake onto the porch before Sun, "Fine, go be with your filth-riddened man. Forget all the things I've taught you about being proud of your womanhood and soil yourself to a lowly slave of men."
"Shit, I always thought you said yo aunty was crazy, but this bitch is nuttier than squirrel shit, Blake."
"What was that, you phallus-dangling parasite?! Why don't you check your privilege next time you try to pass judgment onto a woman who's struggled to get to the very spot she is today, while you sit about and play with yourself and still get better pay than I!"
"What the fuck you talkin' about? I don't have a job, you work at a fuckin' academy, and, last I checked, you the best dressed one here. You could live in the Hills, but the only reason you here is to act like yo broke-ass feminist friends. Meanwhile, I got no place else to go but here."
"How about I call the cops on you and file rape, breaking and entering, and robbery charges on you, you pig!"
"Oh, is that because I'm a faunus, like your niece?"
"Jesus Christ, have all of you lost your minds! Sun has the sex appeal of a cold sack of dog shit and you're fucking batshit crazy if you think I want to be with anything like whatever the hell you are, Glynda!"
The awkward silence that would have resided over them was cut short by a familiar, beckoning voice calling out, Blake clasping her hands to her face and groaning as Yang slowly strolled towards them, hands clasped before her as she asked, "Well, did somebody say 'lost your minds'? It clearly couldn't be directed at this gorgeous young blonde, almost a twin of myself."
"I'm Glynda, Blake's legal guardian..."
"And my aunt, my dad's menopausal sister..."
"Shut the fuck up, those were just heat flashes reflecting my femininity!"
"Yeah, shut the fuck up," Yang roared, turning her attention back to Glynda and slipping her a few bills, "Here, darling, why don't you go get yourself something nice, alright?"
Glynda giggled with joy, replying, "Why, thank you! Good to see a few true feminists understand how we should stick...to...gether...this is only seven dollars."
"I said something nice, not expensive. You wanna be a greedy fucking cow, huh? No, you don't wanna be my next cowgirl, I'm still scrubbing her brains out of the sole of my boot. Now, get the fuck out of here." Yang demanded, glaring furiously at Glynda.
Glynda stumbled back, never taking her eyes off of Yang as she disappeared back into the house, locking it for good measure. Yang's focus on the feminist was broken when Blake requested, "And what the fuck are you doing here, exactly?"
"Hey, you know the boy...the boys...and I'm new in town."
"What?"
"I'm trying to make fuckin' friends, alright? Now, let's party."
"Look, I already had some plans to finally rest until this ass clown and my aunt came up and screwed me out of that."
"My pussy, I just came over here to holla at you about that...little thing...we was supposed to do." Sun interjected, dropping the tone of his voice.
"Sun, I'm exhausted, give me a break."
"What thing? I fuckin' love things, I'm the king of things...queen, whatever, it rhymes, goddammit!" Yang asked.
"I ain't talking to you, homie." Sun replied, putting his hand beside himself to blot out the image of Yang.
"I suggest you put that down if you want it attached to your shoulder and not your ass. Now, let's go do something about the thing, alright?"
"What thing are you even talking about?" Blake inquired.
"The...Mercury thing, ya know?"
"Alright, fucking beautiful, it's a gang bang. Let's go, I hate being late to gang bangs, and I hate anyone who is late even more." Yang growled, leading the way out of Blake's front lawn.
Sun and Blake looked at each other for a brief moment, Blake muttering, "The fuck," before following Yang to the windowless van Sun had pulled up in.
"Alright, where's this happening?" Yang asked.
"Down on Grove Street." Sun responded.
"So, we shooting shit up? Spraying some motherfuckers?! I can drive-by with the best of 'em!" Yang insisted.
"Jesus, please don't pull this or even say this out loud on Grove Street. Sun, what's this thing Mercury's having us do?" Blake added.
"We're buyin' some weight, pussy. Something that will move us up the gang banger food chain, if you know what I'm sayin'."
"And, with all due respect, what the hell might that be? And why are we going back into Cull territory? Last time I checked, they called the cops in on us and tried to get us either arrested or killed."
"Just wait, Blake, this shit is gonna take us up higher than Grove Street or anything those shithead Cull members own, for real!"
They soon pulled up outside an ashy blue house in the cul-de-sac, Sun assuring it was the place as they all exited the vehicle with great caution, a duffel bag strapped over Sun's shoulder. They made their way to the door, heads on a swivel the whole way, before making it to the porch, Sun giving one, strong knock on the door as it cracked open, a black man peering through at them. Sun whispered, "Courier service, package to collect."
"You got the grip?" the man asked.
Sun opened the bag in response, revealing the money inside and replied, "Present and accounted for."
Ruby pulled up before her own mansion, sitting in the car and staring at her unwanted home for a few minutes before shutting her car off and heading inside. As soon as she stepped in the door, she could see Neptune by the pool, most likely practicing yoga. Ruby was caught off-guard when Coco hopped onto him, wrapping her arms and legs around him before leaning back, standing on her hands as her legs remained wrapped around his waist. Ruby stormed out the back door, shouting, "Hey, what the fuck's going on?!"
Neptune lept back in shock, Coco crashing onto her back but immediately scrambled to her feet, the two standing side-by-side, arms behind their back as Neptune asked, "Ruby! I wasn't expecting you to be home so early, any chance you'll join us?"
"Fuck that," Ruby shouted, pushing Neptune aside as she got in Coco's face, cornering her at the pool as she continued, "And you! Who the fuck do you dumb whores think you are?! You come into my house, take my money, and fuck my husband, is that how it works in this fucked city?!"
"Wow, Neptune was right," Coco calmly replied, straightening her glasses as she jibed, "your foul temper is only matched by your insecurity of other women being around your husband."
"You bitch!" Ruby shouted, charging at Coca and attempting to tackle her.
Coco merely sidestepped the attack, watching as Ruby dove into the pool, the criminal bobbing up for air and crawling from the pool as Coco threw her hands into the air, saying, "Alright, that's enough for today's session. Goodbye, Neptune, best of luck with your time bomb."
"Yeah, and best of luck dealing with a burst ass implant, bitch!" Ruby uttered, coughing up more water.
"No, Coco, don't go, please," Neptune pleaded, Coco paying no attention as she slammed the house door behind her, turning to Ruby as he shook with rage, "You are so fucking dumb, Ruby! You're a lonely, pathetic psychopath and I wonder now more than ever why I married such an unstable shitstain!"
Neptune stomped back into the house, Ruby getting to her feet and walking in after him. The fight was far from over.
The man opened his door, showing a large bag of pure, clear Crystal inside. "Wanna taste?" the man asked, reaching in and grabbing a few shards.
Sun was all too eager, taking and crushing the drug between his fingers before snorting it, rearing back with a smile and uttering, "My throat gettin' numb already."
"Alright, let's pay him and go, already." Blake requested nervously, keeping her eyes on the neighborhood.
"How about a taste?" Yang asked.
"No, Yang, we're leaving, now!"
"I want a taste of the shit further in the bag."
"Hey, you heard the lady, sale's final, now scram." the man refuted.
Yang's hands shout out for the bag, ripping it back and digging into the bag, her thrashing hand producing a few of them from the bottom. She shoveled them into her mouth, chomping them to bits before gulping it down, her fury seething as she shouted, "This is fuckin' rock candy! Are you trying to screw us, because I hate being screwed without permission first? Well, now I'm going to screw you!"
"Whoa, we got some motherfuckin' buyer's remorse out here!" the man shouted, slamming the door and locking it behind him.
"You can't hustle a hustler, asshole!" Yang shouted, her gauntlets deploying down her arm, blasting a hole through the door and the man's chest on the other side.
Soon, bullets ricocheted on the wall above them, the trio ducking down and charging for a low brick wall, hiding behind it as a man fired ceaselessly at them. "Shit, I ain't packin' today, you two got me covered?" Sun asked.
"Sure can." Blake replied, waiting for the clip of the attacking gang member's submachine gun to click empty, popping a round in his skull as he did so.
Soon, more of the inhabitants opened fire on them with pistols, taking cover behind their cars as they did so. "These people just pissed off the wrong fucking person who takes great pride in Crystal, you two stay back." Yang said, her eyes burning red as she stood up under the hail of bullet.
The rounds passed harmlessly through her body, healing instantly as she slowly walked towards the dozen men firing at her. Stopping in the center of the street, Yang's attention was caught by a car's tires screeching, plowing ahead at her. Just as the vehicle was near, Yang juked back, watching as the car drove before her and slammed her fist into the passenger door, sending it flying at the cars the Grove Street residents were hiding behind. The car's engine emitted a black smoke until it contacted a grey SUV, exploding on impact and causing the cars around the curb of the cul-de-sac to explode in a chain, maiming the men behind them. Two more cars came screaming around the corner, a purple Cabrio and a blue Buffalo, and headed straight for Yang, passengers leaning out the door and opening fire on her. The bullets only succeeded in further angering her as she slammed her fist into the blacktop, causing a crack to split its way towards the cars and make them weave violently before flipping several times. The passengers her thrown out of the cars, breaking all sorts of bones, as the cars tumbled on, crumpled messes by the time they stopped, blood soaking the interior of the crushed metal husk. Yang slowly approached the two injured men, both bloody and clinging to live, their guns tossed far further down the street, as she glared at them, her eyes returning to their normal shade as she said in a deep, angry monotone, "You tell whoever set you up to do this that I did this, Yang Xiao Long, and if you fuckheads want anymore of me, I'm waiting. Just let them know I took out the entire Beacon MC, and they were twice the gang you pussies ever were. Got it?"
One man gave a weak nod, his eye swollen shut and his face caked in blood, the other lying back and unconscious, Yang kicking and cracking his ribs, the man bolting awake and madly shaking his head. "Good. Now, we'll just let ourselves out." Yang said, stepping over the men, a cautious Blake and Sun following, keeping an eye out for anymore gang bangers.
Ruby walked, sopping wet and leaving a trail of water, as she found Neptune goading the kids to the door, calling out, "Hey, where the fuck do you think you're going?!"
"We're leaving, Ruby, we can't take your jealousy or instability anymore. Coco offered us to stay at her place, don't bother coming outside or coming over here, for that matter."
"Oh, this is the thanks I get, I pluck you out of whoredom and poverty, and this is the thanks I get?"
"You don't get it, Ruby, you're nuts! You're fucking whacko sister is back, the FIB are showing up again, and you're coming home later and more sporadically, just like when you were pulling heists and stick ups and that shit. I'm done, Ruby, I can't put up with you anymore."
"Fucking fabulous, you're taking the kids too, right," Ruby asked, Neptune nodding in response, "Fuckin' fantastic! I don't have to deal with your cheating ass, that fucking psyhco, or that unbearably social abortion. Thank you, Neptune, for once you did me a favor, you greedy bastard!"
"Hey, fuck you, don't bring them into this!"
"Oh, it's all about them as much as it is you! Because of you we had to move to this shit town! Because of you we had to blend in! Because of you that meant adopting anything that seemed normal, and that meant these two fucking misfits! Jesus Christ, what the fuck have you people done to my life?!"
"Sorry we've been such a burden, Ruby, we're going. Goodbye." Neptune said, opening the door.
He waited as Penny and Nora stared at Ruby, Nora looking on with anger while Penny was sucking in air involuntarily, trying her hardest to fight back tears with a red face. Soon, they followed Neptune out the door, leaving Ruby to an empty, silent prison.
Yang, Sun, and Blake finally made it back to Blake's house, the long silence of running broken when Yang asked, "So, any idea what the fuck just happened?"
"Some fuck just tried to screw us out this cash, but they didn't get a fuckin' dime, homie! Shit, we should run with you more often, right, Blake?" Sun replied.
"I don't know about that, Sun. But, it can't be a coincidence, everything we've done with Mercury has come to shit, I wouldn't be surprised..."
"What, if he's sabotaging us? Jesus, pussy, you need to stop readin' them damn mystery books and conspiracies and live in the real world. Mercury is straight-runnin', and he ain't got to answer to yo high-and-mighty ass or nobody."
"Hey, Tyrone, thanks for the fucking lecture, but this Mercury doesn't sound like he's exactly up to date by my standards. If you dabble in drug affairs, run with them, but his absence is making me seriously question, not only his role in all of this, but his integrity as a leader." Yang rebutted.
"Shit, whatever."
"Yeah, whatever me again and I'll give you some shit you'll wish you never saw, fucker!" Yang roared, getting up in Sun's face as he backed down.
"Guys, knock it off. I don't trust for a second how friendly Mercury is with the Cull, hell, he's probably trying to get rid of the older members like us for whatever reason. I don't know, but he's up to something, keep an eye out for whatever he says, alright, Sun?"
"Sure, pussy, I gotta give credit where credit is due. You and this fine bitch, Jesus, I take back all the shit I said about you to Mercury and her just now, you two cool in my book."
"Ah, how fuckin' sweet? Now, run along, kiddies, and wait and see what happens if the Cull fuck with us bangers again. No, seriously, RUN!" Yang shouted, jolting both faunus to dart for their homes.
"Ah, it's good to be in charge." Yang declared, jumping into her truck and heading home.
