6:34 A.M. – Somewhere in Beverly Hills

"Ah, how long has it been?" one Tuesday Tate laughed as she gazed at the city of Beverly Hills from a distance. "It feels like it's been forever and a day."

"Don't start getting philosophical, Tate," Tuesday's partner Sunny Day responded. "Let's remember what exactly we're doing here, okay?"

"How could I possibly forget what those wretches did to me?" Tuesday growled.

"Hey, I'm in the same boat," Sunny replied. "Now, let's get down to business, okay? You said you had a plan?"

"Oh, I've got a wonderful plan," Tuesday laughed. "One so perfect, I impress even myself!"

"Well, let's hope it's pretty foolproof, considering how those damn spies foiled our plans before," Sunny answered. "And from what I've heard, their team is a lot larger than it was when we faced them."

"That's why you make backup plans, my dear Sunny," Tuesday cackled. "I did study rule twenty-four, after all."

"...rule twenty-four of what?" Sunny asked.

"Never mind," Tuesday stated. "We should probably get cracking before one of the spies catches on."

"Good point," Sunny admitted as the two of them made their way back to their secret base.

Totally Spies!: So, You Wanna Be A Model... Again?!
Story Rated: T for Teen

Story Created: December 11th, 2020

Story Summary: The twenty-eighth joint project between Mat49324 and The Blue Time Ranger, collectively known as Totally Spies: The New Adventures. It's summer in Beverly Hills, and that means swimsuit season, but it also means trouble for the spies. Sam and Clover sign up for a modeling photo-shoot, only to be roped into a trap by Tuesday Tate and Sunny Day, who are back for another shot at taking down the spies. Naturally, Tuesday wants to mangle the models and give them prosthetic body parts like hers, but Sam and Clover like their bodies the way they are. Can the spies save their friends from being "remodeled"?

Author's Note from Mat49324: Well, we're back again with two more fashion-related villains from the past for this new project, So, You Wanna be a Model... Again?! this time around. We hope you enjoyed our last project, The Flashback Tapes as well. Those were nice trips down memory lane of the original TV series. Anyway, here we go with So, You Wanna be a Model... Again?!

Author's Note from The Blue Time Ranger: Well, summer means summer-esque villains, so why not, right? We're getting close to thirty episodes in the books, and that's quite impressive, especially considering the long hiatus, but I'm sure we've talked your ear off about that enough. Let's not waste any more time and get this one underway!

And Now, the Obligatory Disclaimer: Mat49324 and The Blue Time Ranger do not own anything related to Totally Spies or any of its affiliations. It belongs solely to Marathon Media Group, Image Entertainment Corporation, Vincent Chalvon-Demersay, and David Michel. The only things of this story we DO own are any characters created by us truly for the story (in this case, Nick, Haruka, Bridget, May, Nozomi, Dawn, and Melissa on my side, and Mathew on his side). Any characters or things we don't own, we are just borrowing with no intent of copyright infringement, only for the entertainment of our readers. Besides, if we did own Totally Spies, which we don't, why would we be writing fiction on a fan site?

Episode 1: Model Citizens

10:02 A.M. – The Spies' Beach House

On a bright Sunday morning at the spies' beach house, the spies were all enjoying themselves, doing their own things. Mat was reserving the TV because the opening round of the 2007 Toyota Motocross Championship presented by FMF from Hangtown Raceway in Sacramento, CA was beginning on SPEED Channel. As semi-expected, Sam was sitting with him. Suzuki's Ricky Carmichael had returned for the first time since the Orlando Supercross. The program was just beginning, and Mat already gave a sigh.

"Already, Mat?" Sam asked when she heard this.

"I know Ricky Carmichael's Motocross career is coming to a close," Mat told her. "But it's still a little depressing."

"I know the feeling," Bridget stated, overhearing what Mat just said.

There was a graphic on screen that said Carmichael would race 6 races of the scheduled 12.

"What's that about?" Klee asked, who was with Bridget.

"Mat's a die-hard motocross fan," Bridget explained. "We found that out last year when the Vegas race broke his heart."

"Basically, I was there to help him out of his sadness," Sam added. "Plus, what kind of girlfriend would I be if I didn't support him?"

"That's true," Klee remarked, understanding that, especially after the previous mission where she found out Sam is Mat's first ever girlfriend.

Mat looked to see Alex and Britney tanning outside; Clover and Nozomi were in the pool swimming. Sam told Alex and Clover she'd join them outside after Mat's race on TV.

"Mail call," Nick then hollered, coming in from the front door. "I forgot about the mail yesterday."

"Well, that explains things," Mat chuckled.

Sam and Mat took what mail they had addressed to them while Nick went outside to get Clover and Alex's attentions.

"Where's Melissa and Dawn?" Sam wondered as the first Motocross (or 450cc) moto got under way.

"Another Brawl game," Bridget answered.

"SCREW YOUR STUPID BIRD!" Melissa shouted before cackling triumphantly.

"Sounds lively," Klee giggled.

"Oh, those two can get very competitive when it comes to Smash," Nick laughed.

Simultaneously, as Mat was watching the start of the first moto, Team Kawasaki's James Stewart had gotten the holeshot, only to bobble himself and nearly slide off the main track.

Some footsteps were then heard. It was Haruka descending the stairs, and she was in a two-piece again.

"Is Nick around?" Haruka asked the spies present.

"No, he's out near the backyard pool playing mailman," Klee answered. "What're you doing?" she wondered.

"I can go get him if you need him," Bridget offered.

"No, no..." Haruka replied. "I was just thinking back to the last time when you and I car-washed and Mat, Clover, and Nozomi happened to see us."

"Oh yeah, that was worth some laughs," Bridget chuckled, remembering that particular moment. (A/N: Think back to Secrets Near & Dear.)

"You're going to car wash again, Haruka?" asked Sam.

"No doubt about it," Haruka replied. "But this time... I kinda want to surprise Nick again like before."

Everyone else was chuckling about it.

"I admit it was kinda hard not to look at you in a two-piece, Haruka," Mat told her.

"Is anyone helping you?" Bridget asked. "Me or Klee can go with you."

"May said she'd think about it," Haruka answered. "But I'm not gonna say no if you wanna help out again, Bridget."

Haruka even motioned to Mat and Sam to keep quiet about it.

"All right, I'm in," Bridget proclaimed.

"Wait, what's this about a car wash?" Klee wondered.

"Basically, Haruka and I were washing the car a while ago, then she started spraying me with the hose," Bridget answered. "We kinda had a bit of a water-hose fight after that, and the others were kinda wondering what was going on."

"It was a trip, let me tell ya," Haruka laughed.

"Better hurry if you wanna make Nick awestruck," Mat told Haruka.

Meanwhile, Nick was still outside with Alex, Clover, and Nozomi. Clover was now reading a magazine while Alex went for a swim herself.

"I wonder when Sam's coming outside," Alex wondered.

"I think Mat's race was going on," Britney replied. "His races are normally an hour long, if I recall correctly."

"Yeah, I think you're right," Nozomi quipped.

"Hey, check this out!" Clover gasped. "It's a modeling shoot!"

Melissa, Dawn, and May had come out just after Clover's gasp.

"What's going on?" May wondered.

"They're holding a modeling shoot for girls," Clover answered. "Sign-ups begin today at 3:00 at the Groove."

"Nice," Dawn commented.

"Something tells me you're gonna sign up, Clover," Melissa deduced.

Sam had come outside, still wearing her light blue dress.

"What's this about a contest?" Sam asked.

"It is swimsuit season, after all, so the Groove's holding a modeling shoot, and you bet your face I'm signing up!" Clover laughed.

"Maybe I'll give the modeling stuff a try," Sam quipped.

"Sounds like we're going to the Groove tonight," Melissa laughed.

"No doubt," May replied.

"By the way, where's Haruka?" Nick wondered.

"In the front, I think," May answered.

As Nick, Sam, and May went back indoors, Mat was all smiles at the end result of the Hangtown Motocross opener.

"Bro, what just happened?" Nick asked.

"Carmichael won the second moto and the overall with a 2-1," Mat replied. "He's not far away from 100 Motocross wins... 97 total."

"And that James Stewart?" Nick wondered.

"2nd place with a 1-4," Mat answered.

"And I thought you'd still be depressed when you told us Chad Reed isn't racing the Motocross season..." May chuckled.

"I'm just glad that you're happy, honey," Sam giggled as she hugged Mat.

Nick then went to the front yard driveway to see if he could find Haruka to tell her they were heading to the Groove later today.

When he got to the driveway, he could only stare at the madness that was unfolding.

"YOU DID IT AGAIN, HARUKA!" Bridget shouted, clad in a green two-piece as she dove to the ground to avoid another blast from Haruka's hose.

"Hey, technically, you got me first," Haruka laughed as Bridget jumped to avoid another hose blast.

"No excuse for spraying me up the nose!" Bridget proclaimed dramatically. "Hope you're ready for a splash-down!"

Nick couldn't help but smile at how goofy his friends were being.

"Nick?" Alex wondered, which took him by surprise.

Nick suddenly jumped, not expecting Alex to pop up behind him like that. "Oof, sorry, Alex, you kinda startled me," Nick admitted.

"Wow, I actually got you, huh?" Alex laughed.

"Yeah, it does seem kinda silly when your boyfriend's a psychic, huh?" Nick teased.

"So, what's the big occasion?" Alex wondered, just now noticing that Haruka and Bridget were in their two-pieces while washing the car.

"Apparently, these two goofs got into another water-hose fight," Nick laughed.

"Only because she sprayed me up my freakin' nose!" Bridget exclaimed.

"Hey, I at least tried to warn you," Haruka giggled. "You just turned around at the wrong time."

Haruka looked back at Nick, a teasing smile on her face. "So, what do you think, Nick? Did I take you by surprise again?" Haruka laughed.

"You certainly did," Nick admitted. "We've gotta have more water-hose fights if this is how they're gonna turn out."

"And at least this time, Nick doesn't have a pool nearby to fall into," May giggled.

"Oh, you had to bring that up, didn't you?!" Nick proclaimed, to which everyone present started laughing.

3:08 P.M. – The Spies' Beach House

"I know I've said it before, but you all have a really nice place," Klee stated as she walked around the beach house. Sam and Clover had already set off for the Groove to sign up for the modeling shoot.

"It's home," Alex replied. "We spent most of our high school years here while our moms were out vacationing in Europe."

"Many, many good times were had in this place," Nick responded.

"So, Klee, did you remember anything else yet?" May asked.

"Hmmmm... I've been seeing a strange light in my dreams lately," Klee answered as she thought about it. "And there's a person in that light... but that's really about it."

"Hey, don't worry, 'kay?" Alex stated. "I'm sure your memories will come back in time."

Suddenly, the couch slid to the side of the room to allow the floor to open up and extend a large metal tube from the hole in the floor.

"What the heck?!" Klee gasped.

"That's a common thing around here, too," Nick sighed as he projected a psychic bubble around the four of them to protect them from the suction until it stopped, at which point he dissolved the bubble so they could all jump down the tube. "Jerry seriously needs to think of a new tactic of WOOHPing us."

When they arrived in Jerry's office, they noticed that Sam and Clover weren't there with them.

"Seems like we're two short," Bridget noted.

"Clover and Sam are still at the Groove," RiCO proclaimed as she materialized in the office. "I didn't have the heart to interrupt their model thingy, so I'll brief them when they're done."

"All right, Jer, who's after our keesters today?" Haruka asked.

"Someone you may recognize," Jerry answered as RiCO waved her hand, shifting the office viewscreen to mugshots of Tuesday Tate and Sunny Day.

"Wait, isn't that the model who got her leg bitten off by a lion?" Mat gasped.

"And the wacko model who tried to destroy the ozone layer?" Alex proclaimed.

"Your bad guys are very strange," Klee admitted as she suited up as well.

"That's a common thread with all of our baddies," Melissa replied. "So, what are they teaming up for, Jer?"

"We're not sure at the moment, but knowing them, it can't be anything good," Jerry proclaimed. "Their last sighting was near the Groove, so we would have you investigate there first."

"Why is it always the Groove when it comes to these nuts?!" Alex gasped.

"Now you're starting to sound like Clover," May laughed.

Suddenly, Nick jumped to his feet when something clicked in his mind. "Oh, crapbaskets!" Nick shouted. "Isn't The Groove where that modeling shoot is happening? As in, where Sam and Clover are right now?!"

"Oh, geez, you're right, Nick!" Nozomi exclaimed. "We'd better hightail it to The Groove before they get caught up in whatever sinister plot's going on!"

"Couldn't have said it any better myself, Nozomi," Nick responded. "Let's head out with the speed, everyone!"

"I've already packed your gadgets into your backpacks for you, spies," RiCO proclaimed. "Good luck out there!"

As the spies headed out to The Groove, RiCO glanced back at the viewscreen, still displaying the mugshots of Sunny and Tuesday. "We really do need a much better containment facility," RiCO admitted.

"The spies have repeatedly gotten on my case about it," Jerry admitted. "Our new one is still under construction, though. It does help that you're adding a bunch of new security features into it, though."

"Just doing my part for the team," RiCO responded.

3:28 P.M. – The Groove

Sam and Clover stood in line together. Clover was already on her X-Powder looking through her wardrobe of bathing suits for the shoot.

When Sam saw this, she sighed a bit. "Clover, shouldn't you wait to pick a bathing suit until after you've been selected – if at all?" she asked.

"Sam, I know I'm gonna be selected," Clover scoffed. "And don't tell me you're not thinking you won't be selected, girl!"

Sam merely rolled her eyes. Before long, it was their turn; Sam went first to sign up, and Clover went second. Unknown to them, Tuesday and Sunny were watching them from nearby. The two of them were asked to draw an envelope for a guaranteed chance at a shoot while others would be notified by phone. Clover went first and was successful; Sam was no different. They were very excited, to say the least.

"How cool is this, Sammy?" Clover stated as they left the sign-up board. "We're certainly getting summer started the good way!"

"You got that right," Sam answered as they went for smoothies. "And we'll be contacted about our shoots, too."

"Hopefully the others come for support, too," Clover remarked as their smoothies arrived.

"Uh-huh," Sam nodded. "Especially Mat since I support him for his Motocross season, and especially what happened last year, too."

"Alex and the others are gonna be totally thrilled when we share the good news!" Clover exclaimed.

"I wonder what shoots we're gonna get," Sam stated.

"I noticed there are beach shoots, pool shoots, even car washes, too," Clover pointed out. "Basically, all water-related since we're in the summertime."

Meanwhile...

The other ten spies managed to get to the Groove by foot.

"I hope we're not too late," Klee chastised.

"Yeah," Mat replied. "I'm gonna whale on those bitches if they've gotten to my girl already!"

"I don't know what those villains got in mind, but I sure hope Clover and Sammy haven't been dealt with yet," Alex remarked.

"Anybody else finding it ironic that we're dealing with these two particular villains and we're in the summertime?" Nick wondered.

"I'd say we all find it ironic," May answered.

Britney was checking her X-Powder to get a reading on where specifically in the Groove that Sam and Clover were.

"Any luck, Brit?" Nozomi asked.

"Sam and Clover are right by one of the smoothie stands," Britney answered.

Nick then used his psychic radar to determine if any danger was near.

"Anything, Nick?" Haruka asked.

"My radar is detecting no immediate danger," Nick replied.

"Well, that's good news for now," Melissa quipped.

As Dawn was about to say something, the spy team heard a loud scream of frustration.

"What in the world was that?!" Klee wondered.

Alex was the first to recognize whose voice that turned out to be. "That was Clover," she groaned.

The spy team forged ahead in case one or either were in trouble and managed to find Sam and Clover. Clover had a vicious look on her face towards Sam.

"How in the hell did you get the pool shoot?!" Clover shouted. "I thought I was a shoo-in for it!"

"Hey, don't act like it's my fault!" Sam shot right back. "They could have picked either one of us, you know!"

"Oh no, not again," Alex chastised, remembering how jealous Clover got when Sam got the lead part at Beverly High's version of Les Misérables. (A/N: Remember S1's Abductions?)

"What's Clover upset about?" Klee wondered.

"I know what she's pissed about," Nick groaned.

"Only the biggest stake to the heart for my modeling career!" Clover chastised.

"You wanna tell us, Clover?" Britney quipped as Sam came to Mat.

"Well, I was hoping to be picked for the pool shoot, since that's the one I was eyeballing, but then they go out and pick Sam for it!" Clover growled.

"Once again, Clover, it's not my fault!" Sam shot back. "How am I supposed to know which shoot I was going to get?! I'm not a psychic like Nick is!"

"Did you hear what your shoot is, Clover?" Alex asked.

"I got the beach shoot, from what they said," Clover answered. "But sadly, it's not the one I wanted!"

"Clover, for crying out loud..." Sam started.

Before Clover could say anything else in response, a large ring of yellow light traveled along the ground and passed under Sam and Clover, causing them to start floating in the air.

Sam looked down and saw Nick with his hand on the ground, his body glowing slightly.

"I'm gonna have you both knock it off right there," Nick proclaimed. "What does it even matter who got what shoot as long as you both got picked for shoots?"

"Yeah, Clover, are we really going to do this again?" Alex groaned. "This is almost shot-for-shot what happened back at our high school play."

Clover sighed in defeat, and once Nick was sure they'd both calmed down, snapped his fingers to undo the Zero Gravity and let Sam and Clover land on their feet again.

"I guess... I'm just miffed that I didn't get the shoot I really wanted," Clover sighed. "But... I'm not gonna argue with you, Nick, because I'm pretty sure we're both sick of that."

Nick still remembered the near-falling out he and Clover almost had when Myrna and The Granny had invaded Malibu University, including the fight they'd had.

"Wait a minute, what are you all doing here in uniform?" Sam asked. "Did something go wrong?"

"Well, we officially have another pair of bad guys to find and stomp," May responded. "Tuesday Tate and Sunny Day teamed up, and, well..."

"Oh, lord, not those two nutballs," Clover groaned. "That wacko took my legs! You do not take a girl's beautiful gams without paying a serious price!"

"And my smile..." Sam shuddered. "That was just cruel..."

"And my face!" Alex shouted. "Oh, if I'd known Nick then, I would have freaked wondering what he'd think of me..."

"And I'd still love you, regardless," Nick immediately answered. "Because one, it's what's on the inside that counts, and two, I would obviously go and stomp miss Tate into the ground for messing with you."

Alex couldn't help but laugh as she leaned in to kiss Nick.

"Their last known sighting was here at the Groove, so we wanted to make sure you both were okay," Haruka stated. "Then we saw you two arguing, and, well..."

Before Sam or Clover could respond to that, footsteps could be heard, lots of them. And they were approaching fast.

"Something wicked this way comes, everyone!" Nick shouted, to which everyone ducked low to the ground so that Nick could unleash a psychic pulse all around him, knocking their attackers away from them.

And they turned out to be...

"...wait, other models?" Sam gasped.

"Quite right, you teenage frumps!" Tuesday Tate bellowed as she and Sunny Day made their presence known nearby.

"Hey, we're young adults now," May shot back. "Eighteen, at least!"

"What's your dastardly plan this time?!" Mat shouted. "And I'm warning you right now, if you even touch any part of either of my girls, I'll personally thump you both myself!"

"Same here," Nick proclaimed. "You touch either one of my girlfriends with those greasy fake palms and you're going to lose them!"

"Empty threats, boy," Tuesday cackled. "But nothing more."

"Oh, really?" Nick countered, clenching his fists and letting his psychic aura explode to life around him. Naturally, Nick was pleased to see both Tuesday and Sunny take a few steps back, having not known Nick had these powers until now.

"We've got more than enough to take you on," Nick stated. "So let's just skip the dumb speeches and commence with the beatdowns!"

"Yeah, what Nick said!" Klee exclaimed as she kicked one model away from Alex.

A bunch of brainwashed models approached May, only for her to press the button on her Emergency Gadget Transporter and summon her anchor to her hands.

"Yeah, one warning," May challenged, swinging her anchor to get the models to back off.

Klee leaped from one model to another, pouncing on them with each jump to keep them down so the rest of the spies could attack the villains.

"Oh, what does the pre-teen think she's going to do?" Tuesday cackled, only to be knocked to the ground courtesy of a leg sweep from Klee, then kicked in the side and rolled over to Sunny, who could only gape in shock as Klee rushed her, driving her elbow into Sunny's face before kicking her in the stomach.

"I'm sixteen, for the record," Klee stated. "So maybe don't go running your mouth?"

"Man, Klee's got some moves, huh?" Bridget laughed.

"No kidding," Melissa laughed.

"You wanna give it up?!" Nick shouted.

Tuesday and Sunny picked themselves up, though rather slowly, considering how hard Klee had hit them both. "This isn't over, spies," Tuesday proclaimed as she and Sunny began to retreat. "We'll have to pick this up another time."

"Yeah, no, we're not doing that again," Sam responded. "After them!"

The thirteen spies gave chase, not noticing that they were being watched from afar by a boy about their age with messy black hair and green eyes.

"Huh," the boy stated. "So that's who Jerry was telling me about..."

The spies gave chase to Tuesday Tate and Sunny Day.

"GET BACK HERE!" Alex shouted.

By the time, the spies reached the sidewalk, Tuesday and Sunny were nowhere to be seen.

"Unbelievable!" Klee exclaimed.

"Tell me about it," Mat replied. "Those sons of bitches got away!"

"But they did leave something behind," Sam quipped.

There was a wire and a ripped piece of paper on the ground.

"I wonder what this wire's from," Haruka stated.

"Best we send this and the paper to Jerry," Nick quipped.

"For sure," Clover remarked.

Sam got her X-Powder and scanned both items so Jerry could analyze them.

"So, what did Jerry tell you guys?" Clover asked.

"Yeah, what are those two up to?" Sam added.

"Well, we don't know anything more than what Jerry and RiCO told us," Bridget answered. "But whatever it is, I don't like the sound of things."

"Uh-uh," Clover stated, shaking her head.

"But at least we're not going to be fed to the sharks like before," Alex remarked, remembering back to the mission with Sunny Day destroying the ozone layer.

"Hope not again," Clover quipped.

"Otherwise, I think I can help us avoid being shark food if it comes to that," Nick quipped.

"Well, let's hope it doesn't come to that," Sam stated.

"Uh-huh," Haruka added.

Something came over Sam, and then she checked her entry slip; she then looked at the piece of paper they found.

"What got into you, Sammy?" Alex wondered.

It was another minute before Sam spoke.

"I just had a thought..." Sam finally told Alex.

She lined up the ripped sheet of paper and held it above her entry slip.

"What's your thought, Sam?" Klee wondered.

"It's an exact match," Sam told the others. "This ripped paper is a perfect match to my entry slip – and Clover's, as well, for that matter."

"You don't think Tuesday or Sunny are entering the contest themselves, eh?" Clover wondered.

"If so, they'd be pretty old, right?" May asked.

"Speaking of which," Nozomi remarked. "Sam, care to tell us about your pool shoot?"

"Yes, tell us, babe," Mat replied. "No doubt I'm coming to see you."

Clover still frowned as Sam began telling the spy team.

"I got a pool shoot as you all know," Sam began. "But it's in the sunset hours!"

"Are you gonna be in the water?" Mat asked.

"I'd like to think so," Sam answered. "But I'll be with other girls; I'd like to think our shoots will be separate."

"That's definitely gonna be something," Mat commented as he gave Sam a celebratory hug.

"Now, what's with your shoot, Clover?" Britney wondered.

"What's wrong with the beach shoot?" May added. "Do you have to wake up early or something?"

"It's not that," Clover answered. "According to my entry slip, my shoot's around the same time that Sammy's is, but I was hoping to get the pool shoot since I always get stuck with stuff that's not a pool!"

"Speaking of shoots," Sam replied, checking her watch. "Crapbaskets! I better head to my pool shoot now!"

"Knock 'em dead, Sammy," Mat remarked.

"Count on it," Sam giggled as she and Mat shared a kiss.

The spies used their jet-pack backpacks to fly away to the said location for Sam's pool shoot. They were still unaware of the same boy whom had secretly followed them around the Groove.

"Did you decide what bathing suit you're going with, Sam?" Haruka asked.

Mat looked at Sam to hear her answer, too.

"I'm probably gonna go with my green one," Sam answered. "Can't beat the classics, after all, right?"

"I feel ya there," May laughed.

"Let's hurry up, then," Bridget stated. "We don't wanna be late, do we?"

4:05 P.M. – The Groove

Sam wasted no time in strutting out onto the set, clad in her green swimsuit as Nick, Alex, May, Mat, and Britney prepared to see her in action. The other six spies had gone to check out Clover's shoot, so she wouldn't feel left out.

"Look at her," Nick teased. "She's clearly enjoying herself."

"I would be, too," Alex giggled.

Soon enough, a few more girls arrived as well, most likely the other models that had been picked for this shoot.

"All right, ladies, let's make some magic, shall we?" the shoot director proclaimed, aiming his camera in just the right way. "Lights... camera... action!"

However, before anyone could start posing the way they'd been instructed, all of the lights on the set suddenly flickered and died, leaving the room in complete darkness.

"Hey, who turned out the lights?!" one model exclaimed.

"That would be me, darlings!"

The sounds of a struggle began to resonate as everyone in the room tried to figure out what exactly was happening.

"What the heck's going on?!" Mat shouted.

Nick raised his hand and channeled some of his power to create a glow around his hand, finally giving the room some much-needed light.

The only problem with this? When Nick shined his light over at the pool, every single model that had been in said pool, Sam included, had completely vanished, leaving only the shoot director.

"Oh, that's not any sort of good," May proclaimed.

"That was Tuesday I just heard, wasn't it?" Mat exclaimed. "What the hell was she doing here?!"

"That must mean that the shoots were a trap," Nick stated before realizing something. "Oh, crapbaskets, Clover!"

That was all the incentive they needed to charge out of the shoot room and towards the one where Clover had been setting up, only to run into the other six spies, who looked as worried as they were.

"Let me guess, a trap got sprung?" Nick asked.

"That's pretty much the plot synopsis in a nutshell," Haruka answered. "Sunny crashed the set and snatched up Clover and all the other models who were there!"

"This is already reeking of their original plan," Nozomi stated. "They kidnap a bunch of young models to mess with their bodies, then set their so-called 'perfect model' out to do evil things. What happened to rule thirty-six?!"

"I don't think it's as simple as that this time around," Melissa replied. "But we really don't have time to sit here and talk about the rules for villains. We've gotta find those two before they get modelized again!"

"Yeah, we've gotta go save my girlfriend!" Mat exclaimed.

"Jerry, we need your help!" Alex proclaimed as she contacted Jerry and RiCO.

"What's the situation, spies?" Jerry asked.

"Tuesday and Sunny crashed Sam and Clover's photo shoots and spy-napped them, along with all the other models!" Britney responded.

"I'm running a tracking program on their X-Powders right now," RiCO stated, closing her eyes to scan for the signals. "Bingo! Their signals stopped somewhere around the site of the old Beverly Hills Mall!"

"Kinda makes sense," Bridget replied. "Welp, let's get moving, everyone!"

The ten remaining spies all charged out of The Groove so they could find Sam and Clover before it was too late.

Once again, they missed the black-haired boy watching them, focused on the rescue as they were.

Alex: Man, it's weird being back here again, isn't it?

Britney: It does bring back memories, but let's focus on the task at hand.

Mat: Dang right, Britney. I don't even want to think about what those two wretches are doing to Sam right now...

May: And knowing Clover, if they try to take her legs again, she'll kick them to the curb before they can.

Nozomi: Um, guys, is someone following us?

Nick: All right, who's there?!

Blaine: Whoa, whoa, easy! I come in peace, I promise.

Mat: Hey, he's an agent of W.O.O.H.P. like us, isn't he?

Nick: Hey, we'll take whatever help we can get. So, buddy, let's see what you've got, next time on Totally Spies!: So, You Wanna Be A Model... Again?!, "The Superior Model"!

May: I can see these puns are gonna be rampant in this one, huh? ...at least they're just in the episode titles and not shoehorned into our scripts. Seems like this scriptwriter learned from all the times I had to bonk the others.
