Dazai and Akutagawa

Akutagawa cautiously looks around. There are many people on the platform; it's a station after all. But to ask any of them how to get to 9¾ would be equivalent to suicide. Muggles are even sillier than wizards – they'll think Ryuunoske has gone mad and put him into one of their hospitals, and then he will be late for the train. How stupid of him, not to ask his guide how to get onto the platform. At least he could find a trolley, otherwise the thin and frail first-year wouldn't have the strength to pull his trunk even here.

Passers-by stare at him. Of course, a kid in a cloak and with a large trunk is bound to get the attention of thoughtless onlookers.

~ Looking for a way to the Hogwarts Express? – Someone asks from behind his back. Akutagawa turns around. In front of him stands a tall kid, who looked just a few years older than Akutagawa himself. A trolley with a large trunk on it is the only thing that shows that he is at school. He is dressed just like everyone else, in muggle style, though a bit extravagantly – a classic suit isn't what you expect a teenager to wear. Ryuunoske noticed that he had bandages around his arms and throat – did he fall of a broom or something? – Interesting, would you believe that to get onto the platform you need to jump under an arriving train? – the older kid sneers.

Akutagawa frowns. He doesn't like the tone of this guy, he doesn't like being taunted, but the familiar crest on the suitcase suggests that the stranger will help him solve his problem.

~ No. – Akutagawa answers scowling. He tries to look at his sudden acquaintance with as much distain as possible, as his guardian did when they had guests in the house.

~ Not as stupid as you look. What if I say that you need to accelerate and drive into that column? - The student points his finger at the dividing brick wall between the ninth and tenth platforms. Akutagawa snorts softly. This trash still has the courage to mock him.

~ If you're not about to help, then go away. – he coldly answers, turning away. After all he could just watch the guy and see what he was doing.

~ So ungrateful, as a matter of fact I told the truth! – with those words the stranger started moving in the direction of the said column. "He's bluffing" – the thoughts were spinning in Ryuunoske's mind, but he's still watching the guy. The latter is going forward, not turning anywhere, but as soon as he is close enough to the wall, a crowd of tourists is blocking the view. The last thing he saw was a bandaged hand, waving at him in farewell. When the tourists disappear, the boy isn't in front of the column, or behind it. Akutagawa even walks around to check.

Nervously glancing at the clock, the boy understands that he does not have time to waste. Either he believes the unpleasant teenager, or he is late for the train. Grimacing with annoyance at the picture in his mind, how his cart will turn over and everyone will look at him with bewilderment, if not with mockery, Ryuunoske sighs heavily and heads towards the column. Nervous that he will be late, the boy quickens his pace, and before crashing into the column, he is almost running.

But there is no collision. Opening his eyes and looking around, Akutagawa sees a platform, next to a bright red train with a long 'Hogwarts Express' sign on its side.

~ Ah, but suppressing the pride was not so difficult, was it? - a mocking voice is heard behind. The same student is standing there, but without his suitcase. - My name is Dazai Osamu. Hope to see you on Slytherin, proud puppy.
