It's a room with pink walls and a plush carpet. There are toys scattered throughout the floor and at the northwest corner of the wall, there is a fluffy bed that looks like it would feel great to sleep on. Further to the east of that wall is Princess Peach Toadstool. She is busy looking out of a window, wondering how the kingdom has been lately. She doesn't seem to notice that they've come in. She is wearing a small dress that was the perfect size for her age. Her blonde hair, while short, it may grow to quite a length if she wanted it to. Mario was perplexed, this was the princess's room. He thought it looked fun, but he was also expecting it to look a little grander. The three of them would then walk up to her and speak up.

"Yoshi!" Yoshi would be the first to great her. The sudden exclamation would be enough to startle Peach causing her to yelp and lose her balance which resulted in her falling on her rear.

"Huh? Who?" Peach would turn and stand to see the three before her. This was a new situation for her. She was not expecting any guests.

"Who are you? I've never seen any of you before. I am Princess Peach Toadstool. But you can call me Peach," Now they had her attention. Mario decided to do the introductions this time. He could tell that Luigi was feeling a little shy and that Yoshi would likely struggle to find the words to say what he wanted.

"My name is Mario. This is my brother Luigi, and this is our friend Yoshi the baby Yoshi," Mario says not too confidently. It seems as if this whole ordeal of meeting royalty was still overwhelming to him.

"My, you sure seem bashful, Mario," Peach points out which didn't help him.

"Bashful? Mario? That's silly, princess, Mario is the bravest go-getter I've ever known. I haven't notice anything less from him lately," Luigi truly had been naïve to Mario's unusual behavior. He was so sidetracked by his own excitement to be here that he hadn't been paying much attention to his brother at all.

"You could have fooled me. If he really is that confident, maybe he just feels sick or something. Do you think he has pneumonia?" Peach wondered. Mario merely groans. He wanted to have fun, but he knew these worried feelings of his were getting in the way of doing so. It was time for him to set things right.

"I am not sick. It's just that I never had a chance to stay at the Mushroom King's castle before. Also, I heard scary rumors about him from other boys the other day. I know I shouldn't believe them, but it still makes me a little worried because of all the things they'd say. I just don't want to run into any trouble while I am here," Mario admits.

"Now I see. But Mario, you don't have to be afraid about my father or me. I know he can be a little stern, but he is a very caring and honest king who wants what's best for all of us. If he let you see me, then it's obvious that he trusts you and is happy to have you here. I always imagine us having a happy kingdom that anyone can enjoy being in. It's what I want more than anything. But my father keeps saying that things aren't as good as they should be since bad people keep trying to hurt us. I hope one day it will be different," Peach tells Mario. After hearing that he felt better as he becomes less tense and not so clammy. He started to realize just how noble the Mushroom King could be. By taking Peach's word, he understood what intentions the kingdom has. This must be why he saw different kinds of mushroom warriors who visit the kingdom.

"I know what you mean now. I hope things do get better, it's a scary place outside of the Mushroom Kingdom. Luigi and I already got to see some of it. But even with danger, I wonder what it could be like to ever go out and see the world sometime," Mario contemplates this but Luigi shudders in fear to that idea.

"But Mario, the danger is everywhere, I hope we don't have to go out there anytime soon. I always feel safer when we're in the town or even the small woods that's not far from this castle. Mario and I play all the time in it," Luigi had good memories as they'd play games such as hide n se, tag and many more. One thing Mario wanted to do was to explore it all. Despite it not being considered a dangerous place, there is so much for them to see within that forest that it was uncertain of what laid within it. So much untold, but they wouldn't be able to find it all, today.

"I've been in that forest a few times as well. Toadsworth always goes with me to I like to go for a walk and pick a few super mushrooms. My father says that a lot of our guards and warriors get hurt by protecting us but the super mushrooms I pick help heal them. It's amazing how one mushroom can do so much. Perhaps this is why your kingdom cares about them as much as they do," Peach says to them. It is called the Mushroom Kingdom for a reason. Her people have been relying on the many kinds of mushrooms for many things. Without them, they may have fallen to the Koopa Kingdom long ago. Yoshi found super mushrooms to taste fine but they will never beat fruit.

"I just wish my father may come with me one day. He is so busy taking care of the kingdom, that he doesn't get much time to leave the castle. There's so much going out there that I wish he'd take time to see everything," Peach claims with a sigh. Even though she could spend time with

"Maybe if you wish really hard it will come true. Sometimes I make wishes that Luigi and I will have something fun to do every day. Guess what, we always do. Maybe the Mushroom King will play with you again Peach, I don't know," Mario tried to make her feel better and he seems to have succeeded since she stoops grieving over it. In the end, it's wishful thinking and is a wish she hopes that will come true. But now that she has new friends, she decides to take her mind off it by coming with something fun to do with them.

"Is Toadsworth by the door? I have something to say to him," She'd then open the door and request that Toadsworth may gather several pillows for her. He complies and gathers what he can. It took a lot of running back and forth through the castle, but he got it done, nonetheless.
"Here you are, dear Princess Toadstool. I hope these are enough for whatever you're trying to do. Has everything been alright lately? I am always available if you need anything else," He'd then be by the door again, so far it's been a fine day for the kingdom. There haven't been any reports of any dangers lately and now Peach has three friends. Toadsworth believed that things would go up from here. It was one of those days in which things felt at peace and gave him a sense of hope that things would change for the better. Still, many things can happen in a day, and this one had only begun.
