Mori and Kouyou
I'm sure Fukuzawa-dono's students will be the first to lose points this year – Mori said with a sneer. They stood in the hall, against the wall, and looked at the hourglasses with the colored stones inside. Currently, the stones in all four hourglasses were equal.
~ Are you so sure of the sucess of your students, Mori-san? – Kouyou asked, hiding a sly smile behind her fan. She could see that Mori, while not looking directly at her new kimono, was definitely admiring it while looking at its reflection in the hourglass.
~ After all, Slytherin loses points too, am I right?
- Loses, but not that often. - There was pride in Mori's voice, although he would never admit that his students sometimes bring more than disappointment. - Well, it is unlikely that Hufflepuff will open the score, this is not their style, - he continued to reason, pointing at the clock, about the House of which he spoke.
A grin flashed across the professor's lips, which again made Kouyou wonder why the gloomy Fyodor was appointed Head of Slytherin, and not this charismatic and in every way ambitious magician. – Slytherin and Gryffindor are now with Dostoevsky, which means that soon there will be "Five points from Gryffindor!", because "You did not even bother to read the textbooks before class."
Mori looked so smug that Kouyou was tempted to do something nasty.
~ Are you sure? And what if ... – Her eyes sparkled slyly, and the professor standing next to him felt that he had overdone his predictions. – Two points from Slytherin!
The two green stones moved to the other half of the hourglass, and Mori's expression changed from sly to confused, and then offended.
~ That's not fair, Kouyou-san! Why did you remove points from my House?!
~ Because a second year student was doing magic in the hallways this morning, which is prohibited by the rules, so it's fair, Mori-san. – Professor Kouyou hid a smile behind her fan - her colleague looked too funny now.
~ But I don't play like that! – Professor Mori said in mock outrage and resentfully stomped along the corridor, demonstrating with all his appearance how much he disagreed with his colleague's methods.
While he was going to his office, five red stones moved from one half of the clock to the other. Kouyou lowered her fan and thought that it was worth bringing Mori a sweet bun as a sign of apology – his prediction turned out to be correct.
