I recently read a comedy HanHua called Cultivator vs Hero Society and really enjoyed it for its meta-humor and comedy. Figured I'd write this and see if it gains any traction.

-Introduction-

-Japan-

A young man that looked to be in his mid-twenties sat meditating on the edge of a cliff at the top of a snow-capped mountain. He wore black Daoist robes with black decorated armored shoulders. The closed robes were folded across his chest, leaving a small amount of his white undershirt exposed. His pants were long and white, tucked inside his black sturdy boots. His long black hair flowed down his shoulders to his back, some of it tied at the top of his head. His skin was fair and unblemished with clear sapphire eyes that seemed to pierce the very soul of any onlooker.

His face had a serene look as he took in the Qi of the world. This small world was full to the brim with Spiritual energy and it seemed very few mortals were harnessing it. Among those who were, even less were utilizing it correctly.

However, the serene look faded from his face quickly after he felt the sickly and distorted Qi of devils and various evil beasts that walked the planet.

" Even in another world, devils and demons exist. Whatever, It is none of my business. I will simply figure out just where I am and decide what to do from there. Time is with me" He thought to himself as he cleansed the demonic Qi he had accidentally taken in. Demonic Qi had a dirty feel to it and he wanted no part with it.

Standing up, he walked to the edge of the cliff and looked down at the sprawling nation below him. It certainly was a new world.

-Flashback-

The same young-looking man had been cultivating in seclusion from the Godly Realm for a thousand years and had broken through to the Divine Emperor realm, a transcendent state that allowed him to be above even the trappings of time and space. When he returned to the Godly Realm, the entire world was in chaos. The lands burned and fought under the harsh war that had erupted in his leave. His hair was white like snow and diamond and his eyes held power beyond mortal imaginings.

Arriving in a courtyard that was burning with ash and hellfire, he raised his hands to the sky and released his Qi into the realm. Instantly the hellfire was extinguished and the world was restored. However, nigh instantly, hundreds of portals opened up on the land and sky around him. Through them stepped and flew many cultivators in the Divine realm, their Dantian all in the realm of deities and demon gods.

An elderly man with long flowing but rough white hair that passed his lower back, gold black eyes, and a large red Demon Clan robe surrounded in raging golden Qi shouted at the newly arrived Emperor.

"YAN SEN! YOU HAVE RETURNED TOO LATE! THE DIVINE WORLD IS NOT YOURS TO RULE! YOU MAY BE AN EMPEROR BUT DO NOT BE SO SHAMELESS AS TO BELIEVE WE RECOGNIZE YOU! YOU KILLED OFF THOUSANDS OF SECTS AND EMPIRES!" He screamed at the young man with diamond white hair while materializing something in his hands.

Yan Sen looked at the man with pity. Did the leader of the now-defunct Demon Clan really believe he held a candle to him? The notion was absurd.

What the old man materialized was a Jade tower the size of his arm and held it up proudly as his trump card.

"This is the Heavenly Deity confinement tower! Even you who has ascended to the Emperor realm could not escape this artifact! It has been empowered for three billion years and will remove you once and for all! HAHAHAHAHA!" He cackled as he looked down at the new Emperor.

Yan sen smiled, his grin a genuine one as he laughed at the foolish old man.

"You believe this scrap from ancient times can seal me? Interesting, I will take this challenge and burst your silly notions of defeating me!" Yan sen laughed as he rushed to the artifact and willingly entered the sealing dimension much to the joy of the Demon Clan's head.

"You fool! Quick, Everyone seal all possible dimensions!" The Demon Clan head yelled. Every cultivator that arrived exerted their Godly and Demonic Qi into the artifact, sealing the billions of alternate dimensions the Emperor could escape to.

Inside of the artifact floated the Emperor in the nigh-infinite black expanse. He laughed as he saw the billions of dimensions being sealed by the weaklings that desperately wished to rid him from the Xuan continent of the Godly realm. Righting himself he laughed and materialized a shining diamond-like white blade of Qi in his right hand and slashed the space in front of him. Millions of different dimensions opened to him and he chose one at random and jumped through the tear in space and time, unknown to the men who sealed him. He would never be sealed by such flimsy methods.

-Japan-

Having only recently arrived in this fragile dimension, Yan Sen did not want to interfere with it. He had felt the connecting dimensions, each filled to the brim with various divine and demonic beings. It was very much like the Xuan continent, though the beings here were considerably less potent with their Qi. Floating down from the mountain, he landed in a nearly empty street. The only other inhabitant was a small stray black dog that looked at him for a moment before going back to the garbage can it was rummaging through.

The buildings here were strange and very different from the architecture of the Xuan continent. There were iron carriages that drove themselves and similar carriages that flew through the skies. It was confusing to Yan Sen who was used to people flying with swords or divine power. Not just that, the clothing of the men and women was very strange and impractical to him. The women he saw passing by wore no robes, but strange garbs that exposed most of their legs and arms. The men also wore strange garbs, and not a single weapon was at their waists. This dimension was so strange.

Having felt the demonic and divine Qi, he expected there to be heavily armed men and women, but there were none of the sorts. He decided he would confront the nearest demonic or divine being. Choosing the closest divine being, he flew to the sky. It was flying quickly across the sky as if it was in quite a hurry to arrive somewhere. Surely it would have answers for him.

Yan sen shot forward like a bullet, a sonic boom exploding behind him as he closed in on the being. It seemed to have noticed he had been following it and picked up speed as if trying to outpace him, but Yan Sen would not be outraced. Speeding up hundreds of times over, he appeared in front of the divine being and stopped. The divine being stopped in front of him too.

Yan Sen greeted the being with a fist wrapping greeting and a slight bow to the angel.

"Greetings fellow divine being. I am Yan Sen. I apologize for my intrusion but May I know where I am and who I am speaking to?" Yan Sen asked politely.

The being in front of him was a young man in a black priest robe with a white cross on his chest. He had light clear skin, sky blue eyes, and sharp spiky blonde hair that looked rather soft. His face was sharp but kind, giving off a strong but intelligent look. His white feathered wings numbered four and stretched behind him far into the sky as they gently flapped.

Seeing the man in front of him giving his greetings, the angel greeted him with a slightly inquisitive demeanor.

"Hello Yan Sen, I'm quite busy right now so I can't stop and talk for too much. Are you from the Chinese pantheon? It would explain why you're lost here. I'm Nero Raimondi and this is Japan" The angel gave a bow and a flourish of his arm.

"I don't know what the Chinese pantheon is, so no. I only recently arrived in this dimension and want to know exactly where I am and what these Demonic Qis I feel are. This world is very strange to me and I am hopelessly lost" Yan Sen said to the Angel with a sigh at the end.

Nero raised his right eyebrow at the cultivator. He could have sworn by his name, clothing, and appearance the man was Chinese. Well, appearances could be deceiving after all.

"I see, this is a problem. If I wasn't so busy now I could bring you to the Seraph Michael but I have to get moving or else I'll mess things up. You don't seem like a bad guy or a devil so I'll tell you what, come on down with me and we can get things sorted out for you. I'm not the type to do the explaining and welcoming very well" Nero said as he brought his right hand through his hair and gave an awkward laugh.

"I appreciate your hospitality to a passing traveler like me. Lead the way" Yan Sen said with another bow and fell to the angel's side as they continued through the sky.

It took them less than ten minutes to arrive at their destination. It was a small complex of four-story stone office buildings with clear glass windows. Yan Sen felt a magical barrier open for them as they descended and he took a moment to study it as he passed through. It was of a magical design, consisting of mental blocks and illusions, disguising anyone there as humans to an outside observer. It also would repel anyone without mental resistance. A simple but effective tool for dealing with weaklings.

When they touched down, they were greeted by five men and women in similar outfits. Yan Sen had never seen outfits like these before, but it was not his world so he would not comment on them, especially since they were giving him their hospitality.

Nero spoke with the men and women who walked over to Yan Sen. Giving them a greeting similar to the one he gave Nero, Yan Sen introduced himself. The two men and three women were all attractive and kind. The men both had short black hair, light skin, and sharp faces. Their eyes black and warm. The women had long black hair and a mix of blue and green eyes.

"Welcome to the offices tasked to us by our Seraph Uriel, Yan Sen. Would you mind coming inside to sit down and have a meal? We were just getting ready to have lunch with Nero here. Please join us as we partake of our food. We can speak after lunch" One of the women said as she motioned to the building in front of them. It was four stories with large open windows, taking in the still warm early fall air.

"Very well, I will not turn you down. I am rather hungry" Yan Sen said, Giving them a slight bow.

"Very good. Let us go inside" The woman said as the group walked towards the open door of the building in front of them.

Having accepted the Angel's hospitality and now joining them for a meal, The journey Yan Sen was about to experience would rival his most exciting moments on the Xuan continent a thousandfold.

Thanks for reading this short Introduction. do check out the ManHua Cultivator Vs Hero Society. It subverts a lot of annoying tropes you see in Mangas, Manhwas, and ManHuas. I'm sure a few readers will enjoy it. I changed up the beginning because well I don't want to be sued for plagiarism. Till next time.
