I searched all over my room for my uniform, but it had disappeared.
Maybe I left it in Subaru's room. I started to walk to his room but then stopped when another thought came to mind.
What if someone stole it!? I started to panic as those words drifted through my mind. There were certainly enough perverts in this house to do it.
But, just to be on the safe side, I'll go check in Subaru's room. I need to hurry! If not, I'll get left behind. I ran downstairs to Subaru's room.
I opened the door slowly and peeked around the door frame. Subaru's room was empty, good, it will be easier to find my uniform without distractions.
"Ah! I found it!" It was under his bed.
"I wonder how it got here?" I wondered out loud
"What a stupid question. I think you know very how it got there." I jumped up from the side of the bed when I heard a voice from the doorway.
There stood Subaru with a teasing smile on his face. He was already in his school uniform.
"S-Subaru...you scared me, and I honestly don't know how my uniform got here," I say truthfully. Subaru smirks.
"Then let me give you a replay of what happened," Subaru says as he walks over to me and sits on the bed in front of me.
"We were sitting here talking just like this when I had the sudden urge to kiss you. Like this." Subaru leans over and gives me a quick kiss on the lips.
"Subaru!" I said in shock, that was so sudden.
"Heh. Then you made that face right there, and I couldn't control myself." Subaru looks into my eyes.
I don't like where this is going. We have to go to school.
Subaru kisses me and pulls me down on the bed underneath him as his tongue slips into my mouth.
"Mph!...Subaru!...I...understand...Mmm...Now...Get off." I say in-between kisses. Subaru sits up and starts laughing.
"Haha. Sorry, I couldn't help myself. You just looked so cute," Subaru says with a smile and pinches my cheek.
"H-Hey, don't treat me like a child," I say and cross my arms.
"I'm not treating you like a child," Subaru says and pulls me into his lap.
"Can we skip school today? I just want to hold you like this for a little while longer." Subaru says into my hair as he kisses the top of my head.
I lay my head on his chest and snuggle closer to him.
"But, what if Reiji finds out?" I ask in a whisper. I feel Subaru shrug.
"Who cares," he says and holds me tighter.
We sat in silence for several moments, just basking in each other's presence and warmth until I finally broke the silence.
"Hey, Subaru?" I asked, looking up at him.
"Hmm?" He says without moving.
"I'm your fiancé, right?" I say quietly.
"Yes." He says without hesitation.
"Does it ever scare you? You know, marriage?" I ask, a little afraid of his answer. Subaru sits me up and stares at me.
"Why would- Why are you asking all these questions?" Subaru's red eyes stare into mines seriously.
"U-Umm...I was just curious because this all happened so suddenly. I wanted to know how you feel about all of this..." I say quietly, looking down at the bed. Subaru gently grabbed my chin, forcing me to look him directly in his eyes.
"You really want to know how I feel?" He asks me, and I nod.
"Have you ever heard of love at first sight? When we first met, I felt like the ice I've had over my heart since I was young melted away. I love everything about you. It is not just your body, but your heart, soul, smile, laugh, and all of the above. When I thought you had died, a part of me died as well. I was so happy when you came back to me." He said with a loving smile and wiped a tear from my cheek.
"Subaru...I had no idea..." I said with tears in my eyes.
"I'm not finished yet. When it was decided that I would marry you, my heart swelled up so much that I thought it would burst. All I could think about is spending the rest of my life with you. So in answer to your question, no, I'm not scared of marriage as long as it's with you." Subaru kissed my nose, which made me giggle.
"Subaru, I love-" Subaru put a finger to my lips, cutting off my sentence.
"Shh...I know, save your voice for something more important...Like this." Subaru said and pushed me down again
"W-Wait! Subaru," Subaru pinned my hands on the side of my head and straddled me.
"Save your voice. You're going to need it," I sighed, giving him a small smile. Subaru released my hands, and I wrapped my arms around him. Our lips were just about to touch when...
"Fufu...found you!"
"Laito, get out!" We both yelled at the same time, then looked at each other and laughed.
"Reiji's looking for you two. He's probably pissed because you missed school! He may give you two a whipping..." Laito said, still his usual smile on his face.
"Laito, shut up," Subaru said as he rolled off of me and pushed Laito out the door slamming the door in his face.
"Fufu, little kids should be punished for disrespecting their elders," Laito says through the door, and then we heard his footsteps retreat away from the door.
"Subaru. Let's go see what Reiji wants," I say, getting off his bed. Subaru exhales.
"Fine," Subaru says, taking my hand.
We walk out of the room and down to Reiji's room.
Reiji smirks as we come in.
"You're quite busy, aren't you, Amaya?" Reiji says with a smirk when he opens the door. I tilt my head in confusion.
"What?" I ask him
"First Kanato, now Subaru...you must be quite sore," Reiji says and then steps aside to let us in.
"Reiji, what the hell are you talking about?" Subaru says in annoyance.
"Nothing really. I was just saying your fiancé must be quite busy. This morning I went in to wake up Kanato, and she was there on his bed cuddled up with him...and now she's with you." Reiji says with a smug look.
Reiji you, bastard! It wasn't even like that! Now Subaru's going to hate me. Subaru just shook his head.
"I'm sure it wasn't as it seems. Now, instead of talking about Amaya, why don't you tell us why you called us here." Subaru said, placing a hand on my shoulder.
"What, how can you trust her so easily when she was with another man in his be-" Reji starts, but Subaru cuts him off.
"If I were you, I'd stop talking about her before I punch a hole in your precious china cabinet," Subaru says with his fists clenched.
"Subaru..." I breathed out softly. I can't believe he defended me even though it's true. Well, except the part about being sore.
"Ah, well...I just heard from Shu that Mr. Komori has decided to move the wedding to tomorrow," Reiji states.
"Tomorrow!? Why such short notice?" I ask him
"Well, it seems that Shu has known for almost a week, and he just now decided to tell me, so if you have a complaint, take it up with him. All the arrangements have already been set up, and the dress you wore for your marriage class will be your wedding dress."
"Tomorrow..." Subaru repeated the word slowly. He seemed to be extremely happy.
"Yes, and you have a suit as well, Subaru. It has already been prepared for you, tomorrow you will leave at separate times. That is all I wanted to tell you. Now, if you will excuse me, I think I will have some tea time." Reiji says and gestures to the door.
As soon as we are in the hallway, I turn to Subaru.
"I'm so sorry!" I say and bow.
"It's okay, I trust you. Don't worry about it, I'm not angry." Subaru says and hugs me tightly.
"I'm glad...I love you so much." I say and press closer to him.
"I know...I love you too." Subaru pulls away from me and stares into my eyes.
"What?" I ask him. He brings his face to mine, and I close my eyes.
"Ouch!" Subaru flicks me on my forehead.
"I thought you said you weren't mad!... What was that for!?" I say, rubbing my forehead.
"I'm not mad." He says calmly, face expressionless.
"Yes, you are!" I retort.
"No, I'm not. But, that doesn't mean I will let you get away with being in bed with a man other than me without a punishment." Subaru says and smirks.
"You're so mean!" I yell at him, but I can feel myself starting to smile.
"Goodnight." He says and kisses me on the spot where he flicked me, then walks away. I stay in Yui's room that night to avoid any further punishment he may want to give me.
In the morning, I'm woken up by Brittany and Yui.
"Amaya! Wake up!" Brittany's loud voice fills my ears, dragging me out of my blissful slumber.
"It's your big day Amaya, wake up!" Followed by her voice was Yui's.
"Go away," I groaned and pulled the covers over my head.
"Amaya, if you don't get up, we'll pull you out of bed!" Brittany yelled, and she and Yui grabbed my ankles.
"Go ahead and try," I said from under the blanket.
"Okay, Yui ready?"
"Yup," Yui said
"One...Two...Three...Pull!" Brittany and Yui pulled as hard as they could on my ankles.
"Ahh! Hey!..." I cried out as my face hit the floor.
"I hope you guys didn't leave any bruises," I said and rubbed my nose.
"Nope, you're good," Brittany says and hands me my dress. I put it on and stand in front of my mirror.
"Wow. You look so pretty, Amaya." Yui says in awe while she sits me down in a chair and starts doing my hair
"Thanks. What are you going to do?" I ask as I watch her in the mirror. Yui pulls away from my hair and looks in the mirror at my dress.
"I think it would look good if it was put up...Brittany do you know how to do that?" Yui looks over to Brittany, who gets up and comes over to me.
"You bet I do! I just need some clips." Yui went to the dresser and pulled out some clips, and gave them to Brittany.
It only took Brittany an hour to do my hair, and when she was done, it looked so beautiful. She really outdid herself with it.
Yui put on my makeup despite my protests. I hated wearing makeup.
"They should have had a 'How to walk in heels' class at that stupid place," I said as I wobble down the stairs to get in the limo.
"You don't have to wear them for too long. It will be okay." Yui said while we were seated in the limo.
"Yea, that's right! Just don't fall on your face when you're walking down the aisle, and you will be just fine." Brittany says,
Great, now I'm nervous. What if I fall in front of everyone?'
"Don't worry, even if you did fall, Subaru would help you up." Yui grinned as she said this.
"I know, I know that, but-" Brittany cut me off.
"Hey, we are here. Now just walk through those doors, and the music will start playing. Don't worry, we will be right beside you," Brittany said and looped her arm through mine, and Yui did the same. I took a deep breath, and we walked in together.
This is it—the big day. The music started to play as soon as I walked in. I smiled as I looked at Subaru. Seeing his smile gave me full confidence. Yui and Brittany took their arms out of mine as we got to the alter.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today in the sight of God to join together this man and this woman in holy matrimony..."
"You look beautiful, Amaya," Subaru whispers to me. I can feel my cheeks heating up.
"Amaya, stop looking so cute," Subaru says and looks away.
"Sorry, I'm just so happy to do this with you," I said and bit my lip softly, careful not to pierce my lip with my fang.
"I am too. But, if you keep making that face..."
"Do you Subaru take Amaya to be your bride?"
"I do," Subaru says confidently, still keeping his eyes on me.
"Say I do quickly...I don't know if I can stand it much longer. I want to kiss you so badly, Amaya," Subaru said, trying his best to whisper.
"And do you Amaya take Su-"
"I do." I cut him off
"You may now kiss the bride." Subaru had already put his lips to mine before the minister finished his sentence. I felt Subaru's tongue against my lips, but I kept them closed and pulled away from him. Subaru looked slightly disappointed.
The wedding was perfect. I had a lot of fun with Subaru.
After the wedding, we decided to book a hotel for the weekend so we could be alone. As soon as we got in the suite, Subaru pulled me to him and kissed me deeply.
"Amaya..." Subaru moaned my name. He picked me up and wrapped my legs around his waist, bringing me to the bed.
"Heh. This will be our first time having sex outside of my room." He mused.
"Subaru!... Don't say it so bluntly..." I whine.
"Don't be so embarrassed. We are married now, so let's enjoy this."
After we had finished, I laid on top of Subaru and started to fall asleep.
"Hey...Amaya?" Subaru asks
"Hmm..?" I mumbled sleepily.
"You never told me...how you felt about all this,"
"Oh, yeah...I guess I didn't..." I sat up, straddling him, and placed my hands on his chest before leaning forward into his face.
"Well, when I first met you, to be completely honest, I thought you were some guy with anger issues. But, somewhere in my heart, I just knew I could trust you. I love everything about you, your attitude, your teasing, your personality. I even love your violent side. I couldn't ask for anything more. When I was kidnapped, I never stopped thinking of you, and every time I saw your face in my mind, I knew that there was hope and you would come and save me. I love how trustworthy you are and that you will protect me even if you're mad at me or did something wrong. Being married to you is the best thing that has ever happened to me." I stated honestly and gave him a small kiss on the lips.
"Hey, Subaru, you know I've always wanted a family of my own. A real one." I said, trying my best not to cry, thinking about all the things we have been through.
"Amaya, what are you saying?" Subaru asks.
"I have a real family now, and I'm so happy. Promise me that we will always be together till the end." I say and look down at him lovingly.
"I promise. Amaya, what would you think if I said that we should create our own family?" He asked softly. I gasp.
"You mean...?" Tears start to roll down my cheeks as I grasped what he was saying.
"Amaya, let's have a baby."
