Katara Pov

It was the day that everyone arrived for the avatar ceremony. It is when the avatar is revealed. The ceremony is not for another two weeks but the had to arrive early to get ready. So far no one special had came but we waited. Since me and my brother (Sokka) are the children of the chief we are royal. So we had the meet and greet everyone that came here for the ceremony.

"When will someone special come", I moan," this is so boring".

" Soon just wait", my father tells me.

Then in the distant we saw Fire lord Iroh. When he had finished walking up the stairs to us, him and my father had a good chat. Than my fathers asked where his nephew, niece and friends are.

"They are with the airbenders", Fire lord Iroh said.

At the word airbender Toph looked up.

"Why are they with the airbenders", my father asked.

"They said the feel safer with them", he responded.

A few minutes later on we could see the airbenders in the distance. When they got close enough I could make out a monk with a younger airbender close behind. Holding onto the airbender was what looked like a fire nation girl. There was some more fire nation girls and one boy holding his eye.

"There they are", fire lord Iroh said.

When they were close enough the monk called out,

"Hello, I am monk Gyatso", the Monk greeted.

"Hello, I am Chief Hakado of the water tribe. It is a pleasure having you here", my father said.

"It is a pleasure being here", said Monk Gyatso,"i'd like to introduce you to my ward Aang".

A young looking boy around my age popped out from behind Monk Gyatso. He was wearing the traditional Airbender outfit with a wood staff. I think that is his glider. He was bald with sky blue tattoos on his arms and head. Not to mention his stunning good looks.

"Hi I'm Aang", Aang said" and this is Azula that is holding onto me, Mai, Ty lee and Zuko. What Toph, is that you?"

"Aang. It's so good to hear you again", Toph said.

"Toph will you stop with the blind jokes?", Aang asked.

"Can't do that twinkletoes", Toph said," I would like you to meet katara".

"Hi", Aang said.

"Hi", Katara said. I was freaking out. He was actually talking to me!

"Katara would you please to Aang and his friends to their rooms" my father asked.

"Sure", I say.

When we are all walking away, I hear my father asking Fire Lord Iroh and Monk Gyatso something about Aang but I did not hear. I did not really care because I was focusing on Aang smiling and laughing. "His so cute", I thought
