Heeeeeeeere's JOHNNY! Naw~, I'm just pulling your legs.

Got to say, it's been such a long time that his story didn't have any new updates ever since it was published, and such a long time for me to ever update any stories, being a fanfic author is hard. With what happens in the world since the pandemic first started, I lost all motivations to do any writing, it truly is hard to concentrate when you are strucked by anxiety. However, that did not stop from everybody in fanfiction to do what they like to do.

So after much time has past and the continuing updates from everyone inspired me to go back to writing, that's why I had a poll on my profile to see which story would you like me to work; and the winner is Senran Kagura: Silver Eyed Shinobi. Hope you all enjoy this update.

Although, it has been quite some time ever since this story was declared the winner, a really LONG time. I'm sorry about the wait, a lot of things just happened that made me lose motivation again, plus I had to write down ideas I have before losing them and helping out two or three with ideas for their own stories.

So hopefully this new update would make up for the wait, and consider this as a late Christmas present.

So, here's the new update.

Morning came, the light from the rising sun hit our only male shinobi student's face. Akio groaned and his eyelids were beginning to open, he blinked once and twice before starting to sit up. He looks around at the room he's staying, at first he was wondering where he was before realizing.

"Oh yeah… I moved into the dorm." Muttered Akio, he yawns. "And I'm the only boy living with five girls in this place."

Yesterday, he could still not believe that the dorm he's supposed to move in is the same one that the girls lived in, though the place is technically a co-ed but up until now it was home for five girls who are the only students at Hanzo academy's shinobi course until Akio arrived. He has no problems around girls, honestly, but he was wondering to himself if it was okay for a guy to stay under the same roof with five girls. Though, the girls don't seem to mind that much.

After arriving at the dorm, he meets with a strict explanation from Ikaruga. He was told about the rules and schedule of the dorm, like how each individual has to do different chores on different days, he was also told that he should let the girls' underwear to them for laundries. There was also a new schedule for bath time, the girls would take their bath first which Akio doesn't mind, he was taught the phrase 'ladies' first'. Last but not least, he was also giving a stern warning about doing anything to the girls, by which he retorted that he isn't the kind of guy. After Ikaruga was done explaining, Akio was welcomed by the girls (except Yagyu) as they all wished to get along and they even went to the trouble to prepare a special feast for dinner. He was truly flattered that he felt embarrassed for being the center of attention.

Akio gets off his futon before stretching, the clothes he used to sleep in was a simple grey t-shirt and black shorts, displaying he's muscular limbs and how well toned his body is. He looks around at his new room again… needless to say, his room was plain, the only furniture he has are; a futon, a desk study and a drawer, nothing else. Considering that he just moved in yesterday, he has yet to decorate anything.

He left his room as he headed towards the restroom. After entering, he starts off by washing his face then brushing his teeth, as he brushes someone comes in as well and he turns to see Ikaruga in her sleeping robe.

"Ah… Akio, good morning." Ikaruga greeted, a little taken to see someone up and rise before her.

Akio takes out his toothbrush before greeting back. "Good morning, senpai."

As Ikaruga began to brush her own teeth with Akio finished and rinsing his mouth, spat out she began to speak. "You're up and early than anyone here."

After spatting the water, Akio responded. "Well, all the years from travelling time-to-time and with a grandpa like mine, you get used to waking up when the sun shines on you."

"Is that so?" Ikaruga wondered.

With everybody else awaked and they had breakfast, the six shinobi-in-training left the dorm for school. While they walk Akio enjoys this peaceful morning until a certain blond girl breaks out.

"KYAA!"

The cry came from Asuka when Katsuragi leaned on her left side and groped her right breast.

"Hey, what the heck are you doing?!" Asuka asked.

"I call that move 'Coffee in the Morning'. Don't know about you, but I'm definitely awaked." Katsuragi said teasingly.

"I really like to know why your moves always involved my boobs ending up in your hands, Katsu-nee." Asuka complained. "I swear you're like a perverted zombie."

"Breast~ must have breast~."

"Would you stop! Someone might see you!" Akio retorted while blushing, he simply couldn't understand how one person, especially a girl, could simply groping in public without shame. "And you're both girls!"

Katsuragi turns her attention to the only guy in their group. "Chill out, dude. Is still too early for anyone to come out, and concealing our presence from the public is also good training."

"How exactly can you conceal while someone is struggling to break free from being groped? That's impossible." Akio retorted.

Katsuragi then grinned. "Come on~, don't tell me you ain't enjoying what you're seeing?" She groped Asuka even further giving a good view.

"S-Stop that, Katsu-nee!" Cried out Asuka, feeling embarrassed about having a boy watching them.

"W-w-w-w-what the hell are you s-s-saying?!" Akio asked embarrassingly, his cheeks redder than before. He averted his eyes before he started to walk even faster to avoid the scene, leaving the girls behind.

"Would you stop goofing off or we'll be late to school." Ikaruga scolded, having enough of Katsuragi's shenanigan.

After arriving at school, Kiriya has the class to take outside, in a part of a forest.

When they arrived, Kiriya announced. "Now then, to start this lesson, please use Shinobi Transformation."

"Hai!" The six students responded, each making different hand signs before declaring. "Shinobi Transformation!"

The six shinobis' bodies glow in different colours, Ikaruga's red, Katsuragi's light blue, Asuka's green, Yagyu's orange, Hibari's pink and Akio's cerulean, their school uniforms swift and change taking new forms.

The Shinobi Transformation is a physical technique that uses the Attribute of Yang, in which the fundamental essence of the shinobi is used as a battle tool by releasing the body's internal spiritual energy in all six chakras simultaneously. This allows the shinobi to gain clothes based on their characteristics or fitting their fighting style to life.

Asuka's outfit consisted of a yellow vest over a white shirt, and a green plaid skirt to match her tie. Paired with it are black thigh high socks with brown loafers, and on each arm is a guard with bandages beneath them. On her waist are straps that hold her swords, and the red scarf was still there.

Ikaruga's shinobi outfit consists of a white gold-trimmed jacket with six buttons and a few golden tassels strewn across. She has a Hanzo armband pinned to her upper left arm to signify her status as the class representative. She has a short gold-trimmed white skirt and boots of similar colours to her jacket, accentuated by black tights underneath.

As Katsuragi's, her outfit is simplistic; similar to her usual white Hanzō school uniform, but unbuttoned, revealing most of her torso underneath; particularly her breasts. Though instead of purple is a blue plaid skirt, she wears long socks and her signature weapon; black and gold metal boots adorned with small blue tassels on either side.

Hibari's outfit is reminiscent of a student in gym class. She has a light pink track jacket with the Hanzo emblem on the left chest area, dark blue biker shorts, black and white socks, and red and white sneakers.

Yagyu wears a pale brown jacket over a white school shirt, red plaid skirt, brown loafers, and calf-high black stockings. Around her shoulders is a black mantle with a triangle design along the trim and two extended tails.

Finally, Akio's outfit consists of a navy blue jacket with a small collar up, white highlight on the corners and an emblem on the left chest, slightly opened up with only two buttons connected revealing a black shirt underneath, navy blue pants with white highlights the corner and black shoes. His sheathed sword was attached on his back

Now with their transformation completed, it was time for their lesson.

We now see Ikaruga standing, with her sword, Hien, in hand. She has her eyes closed before she opens them and draws out her sword when suddenly a red fiery aura is surrounded on her before shifting, taking the form of a red phoenix.

"Secret Ninja Arts! Phoenix Flame Flash!" Calling out, the blade of her sword is then covered in red flames before she slashes horizontally. "1!" Then she slashes vertically. "2!"

Running on the dirt ground with the sound of the metal boots, Katsuragi charged towards before jumping off the cliff. "Alright, you sexy beast, let's do this!" She declared as a dragon made of light blue aura manifested. She lands on the ground flawless not until she begins to spin her lower body and legs like a dancer, before standing on both her hands as she continues to spin with her legs spread creating a tornado. "Secret Ninja Arts! Tornado Spindel!"

"Secret Ninja Arts! Leg-sweeper!" Yagyu declared pulling out her umbrella from her back and unfolded before spinning as a giant squid appeared not before long it too began to spin creating a torrent of brown water that crumbled the ground.

Secret Ninja Arts, also known as Summoning Arts, are secret shinobi techniques that exhibit a paranormal power by embodying a creature imagined within the mind. To use Secret Ninja Arts a shinobi needs a Secret Ninja Art scroll which all shinobi carry around with them.

When a shinobi summons, it can be anything they want. It doesn't matter if it's a real or imaginary creature. However, the summoning is greatly affected by the person's innate characteristics or in other words "compatibility." This is also the reason why some shinobi can summon more than one being. If any shinobi try something at random, chances are the summoning will be a failure.

Today's lesson is the Summoning Arts practice, those who have mastered it can demonstrate their own technique from their result of training, and those who have not mastered it yet will learn how to do so.

Watching them demonstrate are Kiriya and the three who have not mastered the Summoning Arts, Asuka, Hibari and Akio. The attacks came to an end, leaving nothing but dust flying around only for Ikaruga, Katsuragi and Yagyu coming out, they stopped in front of Kiriya as they bowed.

"Ikaruga and Katsuragi, your performance is outstanding." Kiriya praised. "Yagyu, as calamariffic as ever." That comment made Yagyu smile.

"Calamariffic?" Akio repeated.

"Is that even a word?" Asuka asked.

"Kiriya-sensei is something of an expert at giving compliments." Ikaruga explained caused Kiriya to chuckle.

"Ikaruga, complimenting me won't get you anything." Kiriya said, feeling flattered, but the third-year student sighed.

"Asuka! Hibari! Akio!" Kiriya addressed the three remain.

"H-hai?!/Hai?" While Asuka and Hibari responded nervously, Akio responded normally but deep down also nervous.

"What do you think? Think you can show off the other class today?" The shinobi teacher asked.

"W-We'll do our best." Asuka responded.

"Of course." Akio replied.

Hibari raised her hand as she asked. "Sensei, may I ask you a question?"

"Of course."

"When we summon, it can be anything, right?" Hibari wondered.

"Well is your choice, it could either be a real creature or imaginary." Kiriya responded before starting the explanation. "However, the summoning is greatly affected by the person's innate characteristics, or what you might call 'compatibility.' If you try to summon something at random-"

"Heck yeah, I've decided which critter I wanted to choose!" Hibari happily proclaimed. "It took me a little while, but I finally picked a furry friend that I can be happy with!"

'That was quick.' Akio thought.

"Oh? Then would you like to try?" Kiriya asked.

"Hai~!" Hibari then runs off to have some space.

She came to a stop before closing her eyes and starting to focus. She puts a lot more pressure in hopes to achieve while everyone looks at her.

"I've never seen Hibari so serious." Asuka said. "What on earth is she trying to summon?"

"Hopefully she doesn't strain herself too much." Akio said, worrying for his kohai.

"A furry friend, huh? I hope it's something sexy." Katsuragi exclaimed with a grin, causing Akio to sweatdrop.

"Get your mind out of the gutter." Ikaruga retorted.

"Good luck, Hibari." Yagyu silently prayed, watching as Hibari's working hard.

'Please… come to me...' Hibari pleaded in her mind, then suddenly, a large smoke appeared behind her. She turns around to see her summoned creature; a large pink bunny. "Ah! It's here!"

"A bunny?!" Asuka exclaimed in shock.

"And a pink one too!" Ikaruga added.

"And BIG!" Akio proclaimed.

Hibari climbs on the bunny's back before taking off, jumping high into the air, it lands on a mountain with trees before charging in smashing a couple of trees while Hibari was having fun. Meanwhile, everyone was watching at the mountain as parts of it are being destroyed by the giant rabbit, showing the destruction it creates.

"Awesome..." Katsuragi commented.

"Who wouldn't have thought a pink fluffy bunny can be so destructive." Ikaruga wondered.

"Very dangerous..." Akio muttered

After creating enough destruction, the bunny jumped off and as soon it was close to the ground it disappeared in smoke as Hibari landed.

"I did it! I did it!" Hibari cheered

"You did, I'm very proud of you, rabbitasticly well done, Hibari." Kiriya praised.

"Thank you very much, sensei!"

"Sure enough, he really does sound complimentary." Asuka said under her breath.

"You did it, Hibari." Yagyu praised her, causing Hibari to giggle.

"A pink bunny, huh? And bunnies means bunny girls!" Katsuragi suddenly pulls a bunny girl costume. "If you put on this bunny girl costume, it would make a great pair!"

"What would possess you to buy that?" Ikaruga asked.

"Looking the part is shinobi fundamental." She replied.

"More like you wanted to dress it for fun." Akio retorted.

"Guilty as charged."

"That was amazing, Hibari!" Asuka praised Hibari.

"Thanks! I can't wait to see what critter you summon!" Hibari said, that made Asuka flinched.

"Ah, y-you're right..."

Akio notices Asuka's nervousness, he wonders if Asuka has low confidence in summoning.

"Okay… You're up next, Asuka." Kiriya announced.

"Sure… but I wouldn't get your hopes up." Asuka said.

She then went to concentrate to summon a creature while everyone's watching. Needless to say, she was having a hard time doing it as she took too long and did what she could do, like rubbing her temples with her thumbs and she then went into the thinking position.

"She's having a hard time." Akio exclaimed, seeing Asuka having struggles.

"Naw, she'll nail it for sure." Replied Katsuragi… now wearing the bunny girl costume from earlier.

"How did you change into that without anyone noticing?" Akio asked, wondering how his senior has put on the costume she had in hand.

Asuka continued to concentrate as she went into a sitting position, she's focusing so hard that her body was surrounded by her green aura. After a while of struggle, she loosened up as the aura dispersed and sighed.

"I'm sorry, sensei, but I can't seem to get it right." Asuka apologized, feeling disappointed.

"No worries, not everyone can get it right in their first try." Kiriya assured, after seeing so much struggle from his student he should let her try some other time.

Asuka walks back to the class with a disappointing expression. Hibari and Katsuragi went to comfort her.

"Okay, last but least, Akio! Are you ready?" Kiriya addressed the boy.

"Yes!" Akio responded, it was now his turn, he separated himself from the class so he could perform his summoning.

Akio closed his eyes, concentrating in his inner search. The creature he will summon will become his source of strength and life-long partner for the rest of his life, so he should choose wisely and considerably, and most apparently; the one who'll be fitted to him. He went deep down to grasp the creature of his choice when suddenly he felt the connection.

Akio opened his eyes and drew his sword, the Kazekage, as a cerulean aura appeared around him with a swirly wind surrounding his feet. The aura disperses and reforges taking the form of a mighty stallion made of cerulean aura, it neighs as it was summoned.

"Secret Ninja Arts! Wild Stallion Slash!" Akio declared as the Kazekage's blade is surrounded by a bluish tornado. He charged towards a large boulder, with the horse he summoned galloped following as it began to disperse and the aura surrounded him. He swings his sword, in a left diagonal, and slashes the boulder, destroying it causing an explosion that left a sound of a horse's neigh.

Akio looks at the handy work he did, all that's left from the boulder were broken rocks and pebbles. He was impressed, even by him, for bringing out such power. He twirls the Kazekage before sheathing it back before turning back to the class.

"Very, very good, Akio. Quite the display of horsome skills." Kiriya praised the boy.

"Horsome...?" Akio repeated. 'I guess I can take it as a compliment.'

"That was awesome, Akio!" Asuka praised him, forgetting her own depression.

"You were amazing, Akio!" Hibari praised.

"Ha… Haha… Thanks." Akio chuckles while scratching the back of his head in embarrassment. He wasn't used to being complimented by girls.

"A horse, huh?" Katsuragi snickered. "I bet down there is the same size as that animal's."

Understood what Katsuragi meant, Akio responded with a crimson face and placed both hands to covered his groin. Asuka also blushed by Katsuragi's statement and Ikaruga shakes her head and sighed.

At the moment, Akio was in the boys' showing room as he was washing, the Summoning Arts lesson was over and after the class (minus Asuka) showcased their techniques they went back to the shinobi course classroom and hit the showers.

Akio rubs his face before running his hands over his hair. He turned off the water, drying himself up. He was thinking about today's lesson and how interesting it was to see everyone's summoning, except for Asuka. He wonders if she'll ever manage it, she did look like she was having trouble, maybe he can help her.

Coming out of the shower room, his eyes meet with a sign of two inflatable pools with three of the girls on them with swimsuits. Katsuragi occupied one while Hibari and Yagyu were on the second one.

Akio blinked twice. "Mind I ask why there are inflatable pools here?"

"Hmm? Oh, hey Akio! I brought them here so we can have a nice cool refreshing bath after a day of training!" Katsuragi replied. Then she grins. "Say, how about joining us?"

"Yeah, come play with us, Akio. It's fun!" Hibari exclaimed.

"Err… No thank you, I already took a shower." Akio replied stating the obvious. He has a feeling that Katsuragi would pull something if he went in, and also Yagyu has sent a glaring look at him before.

"Come on, are you saying you don't want to hang out with a couple of girls in swimsuits in pools? Don't be a party popper." Katsuragi said positioning herself so the boy could get a better view of her cleavage, she swore a sly smirk.

"Like I said; I already took a shower." Akio replied, averting his eyes from the view, walking away towards the mini-fridge.

"Man, you're no fun." Katsuragi complained.

"I can be fun at times, but not right now." Akio replied, reaching the mini-fridge. He opens it before grapping a cold drink.

"Kyaa!"

SPLASH!

Akio turns around after hearing what sounds like Asuka's and the splash sound to see the very same girl in the pool with Katsuragi, with clothes that are soaked wet.

"Hey there, Asuka. We've been waiting for you!" Katsuragi proclaimed.

"So not cool!" Asuka exclaimed.

"Stay with us, Asuka, it's so much fun!" Hibari proclaimed.

"Aw, I just got changed! Now I have to hang my clothes to dry." Asuka whined looking at the state of her uniform. She just got out of the shower room after cleaning herself, but Katsuragi pulled her ankle in when she wasn't looking.

"You can always change again, right?" Katsuragi then begins to grab Asuka as she tries to take off her uniform all the while groping her chest. "Take it off, take it off, take it off!"

"I'll take them off by myself!" Asuka retorted.

"I'm just being a good friend lending you a helping hand!" Katsuragi exclaimed.

Akio could only sweatdrop at the scene and averted his eyes. "Really…?"

"Our own corrupt magistrate, huh?" Yagyu muttered with a smile, shielding the splash of water with her umbrella.

Soon enough, the fun moment came to a stop when a smoke bomb exploded in the room as Kiriya reappeared while everyone coughs.

"Huh? What are you guys doing?" Kiriya asked, seeing the girls in the inflatable pools and the position Asuka and Katsuragi are in.

"Aah… you see, we were just washing up our training..." It was a weak response as Katsuragi was having a hard time finding an excuse.

Ikaruga came out of the shower room as she saw Kiriya. "Kiriya-sensei? I thought that we were finished with our training for today?"

"Nothing's wrong. I simply forgot to mention something to you earlier. For the next little while, refrain from interacting with the public." Kiriya said.

"Wait? Everybody?" Asuka asked.

"Is it about the puppets?" Yagyu asked, causing Asuka and Katsuragi to wonder.

"Yes, that is correct." Kiriya replied.

Katsuragi then raises up as she declares. "Ha! I don't care how many of them there are, I'll smash every single one of them into toothpicks!"

"Katsuragi!" Kiriya said it harshly, gaining her full attention.

"That is an order, understood?" Kiriya gives a stern look when he says it.

"Right..." Katsuragi replied, indicating that she understood.

At the moment in the evening, the six shinobi students were walking back to their dorm, with the sun setting.

"Sensei must have a smoke bomb up his ass." Katsuragi exclaimed before continuing. "He's just been spooked by those puppets, am I right, Asuka?" She turns to the person next to her.

"I didn't fight them, so you probably shouldn't have asked me." Asuka replied.

"Oh, guessed that's true."

"Kiriya-sensei was acting strangely." Ikaruga spoke."I could be wrong but I have a gut feeling he knows more about our attackers than he's willing to land on at the moment. That's the feeling I get, anyhow."

"Something more?" Asuka asked.

"What do you mean, Ikaruga?" Katsuragi asked her fellow third-year.

"I'm not sure." Was the only reply Ikaruga gave.

"If you don't mind me asking." Akio spoke, gaining their attention. "Before I got here, was there anything that happened before?"

"What do you mean?" Asuka asked, not getting what he meant.

Akio asks more specifically. "Well, before the attack, did you girls or Kiriya-sensei have ran into some trouble? Any confrontations?"

"No, not really." Asuka replied.

"Ikaruga and I have been in school way before you guys came and we haven't done anything that would piss off someone." Katsuragi replied.

"Are you suggesting that someone holds a grudge against us?" Ikaruga asked. Akio nodded his head, she thought for a moment before answering. "Well… there are possibilities, but..."

"It doesn't matter." Yagyu speaks. "We're shinobi. All we have to do is carry out the orders we are given without fail." She stated the obvious, reminding them.

"I understand, but what are we gonna do if we get attacked again. Those guys are scary." Hibari said, frighteningly.

"Relax. I'll protect you, Hibari." Yagyu reassured with a smile.

'Yagyu really cares for Hibari.' Akio thought, seeing her willingness to protect Hibari.

"And even if those attackers hold a grudge against us, I'll whoop their ass!" Katsuragi declared then going groping Asuka. "And then, I'll protect Asuka's breasts!"

Katsuragi's action causes Asuka to push herself off from her grip only for her to fall on her butt and her back hitting a tree behind her, the small crush causes a small frog to pop out until landing on between Asuka's cleavage that a button was opened. When Asuka saw the frog and felt it between her breasts, she wore a frightening expression before letting out a scream.

"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

"A-Asuka?! What's wrong?!" Akio asked, surprised by Asuka's sudden scream.

"Get it off! There's a frog!"

"A frog?" Akio repeated.

"There's a frog down my shirt!" Asuka cried, crawling towards Katsuragi. "Help me out, Katsu-nee!"

"Good grief." Deciding to help, Katsuragi grabs the bottom back of Asuka's shirt and pulls exposing her bra, this allows the frog to jump off Asuka's cleavage before Katsuragi grabs it with her hand. She then places it on top of her index finger. "All that over a tree frog?"

"If you're that shaken up over a mere frog, you're not cut out to be a shinobi, Asuka." Ikaruga said, looking at the girl on the ground, who is still shaken up and swirls in her eyes.

"That's harsh, senpai." Akio said. Though he can't help but feel pity for Asuka, not liking frogs is natural for any girls.

"Just look at that face, what a cutie." Hibari commented looking at the frog. While other girls find frogs to be cute.

After getting the feeling of the frog out of her mind, Asuka sits up and fixes her shirt. "I've never been good around frogs. They're so slimy and icky." She gets up as she continues, expressing her views on frogs. "Especially with their weird legs and wetted feet!"

"That's oddly specific, huh?" Yagyu muttered.

The next day, in the shinobi classroom of Hanzo Academy, the students are staring at something in the room. It was a sushi counter that you usually see in restaurants or as a single stand outside.

Akio was the first to speak. "Err… I know I'm the new guy here, but has that always been there?" He asked, pointing at the sushi stand.

"No, it hasn't…" Ikaruga replied, confused like the others.

"Wait…" Asuka said before she walks a bit closer to the stand. "Now that I think about it, this seems oddly familiar…"

Then they all hear a chuckle, making everyone jump back in alert, except Asuka. "It's about time." The mysterious voice said.

"No way..." Asuka said, recognizing the voice as she approached.

"Tada!" Someone stands up behind the sushi stand, surprising everyone.

He was an elderly man with long grey hair with a mustache and beard and is wearing traditional Japanese clothes.

"Grandpa!" Asuka said in glee.

"Grandpa?" Her friends said while blinking.

"I missed you so much!" Asuka exclaimed happily, hugging her grandfather.

"You've couldn't missed me that much, it hasn't been that long since you left for school." Said the elderly man.

"Asuka… Could this gentleman possibly be…?" Ikaruga asked, realizing who this elderly man is.

"Hanzo-sama?" Akio asked out loud which made everyone in the room look at him, especially Asuka's grandfather, now named Hanzo.

"Oh Akio my boy!" Hanzo said before he let go of Asuka and walked to Akio.

Akio smiles when he fully sees him.

"It really is you!" Akio said.

"It's been a long time. How have you been?" Hanzo asked.

"I've been doing well. And grandpa's been doing well." Akio told him.

"Well that's certainly good to hear." Hanzo said.

As they were talking with each other, the girls watched them with a curious look in their eyes.

"Wait a minute!" Asuka got Akio and Hanzo's attention. "You two know each other?"

"Oh you didn't tell Asuka, that you know me Akio?" Hanzo asked.

"No, sorry. But I do remember that you mentioned your granddaughter several times, but you've never told me her name." Akio said while rubbing the back of his head.

Hanzo chuckles. "Of course, how could I have forgotten to mention her name." He said before he notices the curious looks on the other students' faces. "Oh that's right, I guess a few introductions are in order. But firstly I wanted to thank you all for being good friends with my granddaughter."

"Then… you really are Hanzo-sama!" Ikaruga exclaimed before she went to dogeza position.

"The legendary shinobi…?" Katsuragi said while she pointed her shaking finger on Hanzo, while Hibari and Yagyu had shocked expressions on their faces.

"Now then, I was thinking of treating you all to some lunch." Hanzo said, who was at the counter, stirring and fanning the cooked rice.

"Heck yeah! Sushi, sushi!" Hibari cheered. She and the others were sitting on the chairs of the counter. From right to left, Akio was sitting next to Asuka, as she sat next to Katsuragi while Ikaruga was beside her left side, Yagyu was at her upper classman's left and finally Hibari seated at the end.

"You set up a counter just to treat us to lunch?" Asuka curiously asked.

"I wanted it to be a surprise for you." Hanzo responded.

"Just as you'd expect of Hanzo-sama, the legendary shinobi." Ikaruga complimented. "Beautifully done."

"But then, doing all of this by myself was quite a strain on me. But your smiles make it worth it." Hanzo chuckles.

"Oh, but what about your family business?" Ikaruga asked, realizing.

"Grandpa is more or less retired, and the business is run by mom and dad." Asuka replied.

"I see. Your parents... " Ikaruga said, even though she has a smile but she has a solemn expression.

"Ikaruga…?" Asuka asked.

"Oh, nothing." Ikaruga shrugged off. "It sure is nice, having a family, huh?"

"Yes! I think so, too!" Asuka agreed.

"But who wouldn't have thought that you knew Hanzo-sama, Akio-kun." Hibari said to Akio

"And who wouldn't have thought that Asuka is Hanzo-san's granddaughter?" Akio asked, chuckles.

"But how did the two of you know each other?" Asuka asked.

"Akio's grandfather is one of my old friends and comrades in arms." Hanzo responded, adjusting the preparation of the meal. "We went way back in our old days when we were students and going on missions together."

"No way..." Asuka said while the other girls were awed.

"But nowadays, grandpa has retired from his shinobi career. So he and Hanzo-sama would just hang out and drink." Akio said.

"When I sometimes go out for shinobi-related business in different prefectures, I coincidentally met Masato and Akio when they were travelling for training. So the three of us occasionally went out to different restaurants and izakayas." Hanzo explained. Remembering the times he often meets with the two when they were travelling.

"Hanzo-sama would sometimes tell me stories about his granddaughter," Akio turns his head to Asuka. "But I would never have guessed that the granddaughter is here training with us."

Asuka nervously giggles scratching the back of her head. "But now that you mentioned it, grandpa has told me about a boy he met saying that he'll become a great shinobi. Though, you never told me of his name, grandpa."

Hanzo chuckles. "Sorry, it has slipped my mind."

"Here, thank you for waiting." Hanzo brought plates of fully prepared futomaki rolls. "My legendary specially made futomaki rolls." The sign of futomaki rolls made the students delighted.

The shinobi students each took a futomaki roll and began to eat them, they were also served with tea.

"Man, these futomaki rolls taste greater than the ones Asuka brought." Akio exclaimed.

"Asuka's parents might have taken over the business, but Hanzo-sama's homemade are the best." Katsuragi said.

"That's quite rude, you two. Asuka's parents' rolls may not be the same level, but they have gone to the trouble to make these for their daughter." Ikaruga scolded.

"Right… I should silently apologize." Akio then silently prayed in apology.

"So… what exactly did Hanzo-sama tell you about Asuka?" Katsuragi asked.

"Eh?" Akio asked.

"Come on, did he say anything particularly about Asuka when you hang out?" Katsuragi snickered.

"N-nothing particularly." Akio said before taking a bite on the roll. "Besides, I was just a kid back then, it's not like Hanzo-sama has said anything perverted about his granddaughter." He eyed Katsuragi, having suspicious that she might tease Asuka.

"All he said about her is how hardworking she is, putting everything she has, having her moments of struggles and disappointments, on top of all that… he always believed that Asuka will make a fine shinobi." Akio described, recalling what Hanzo has been telling him. He muttered. "And that… sorta inspired me to work even harder."

"Hmmm~? What was that?" Katsuragi snickered as she leaned close to the boy.

"Nothing." Akio averted his gaze from the blond girl.

Before Katsuragi could get anything good further, the students heard Asuka's raised voice. "What?! You summoned freakin frogs?!"

They've all turned their heads to the direction where Asuka and her grandfather sat, sitting on the floor in seiza, as the girl was trembling and her face turned blue out of fear, she was mumbling about something while Hanzo spoke to her. They could not understand what was going on, but after learning from yesterday's little accident that Asuka is afraid of frogs, they knew that whatever they talked about must have pushed Asuka's fear.

Then suddenly, a smoke bomb explodes as smoke appears in the room with Kiriya appearing between Hanzo and Asuka.

The next thing that happens, will make every student to work hard to help out their fellow classmate.

"So the thing that she's supposed to summon is the thing that she's more afraid of, huh?" Akio muttered as he stared at the inflatable pool... with frogs in it.

A while ago, it was discovered that the reason why Asuka was having trouble with her summon is due to her family line. Sometimes, one's family line of shinobi shares the same summon animal, the trend is particularly strong in families where there is more than one generation of practicing shinobi. When Asuka asked what her family's summoned animal was, to her greatest shock... it was frogs, which is rather traditional for shinobis. So after learning the truth, Hanzo encouraged his granddaughter to overcome her fear of frogs to get accustomed to them so she could manage to perform the summoning, as a shinobi trial, much to her dilemma.

Upon learning the truth, the other five went on to help their friend out, going outside in search of frogs all the while giving words of encouragement to Asuka. They had trouble looking for them in the beginning… until they suddenly heard croaking, multiple croaking, and by sheer luck, they found the frogs, or rather the frogs came to them. So they've captured all the frogs that appeared and went back to the classroom.

Thus here we are, with the students gathered, and an inflatable pool with frogs in it ready for Asuka to face her greatest challenge.

Asuka was in her swimsuit, with one leg lifted while shaking in fear.

"Don't worry, they're not all poisonous." Hibari reassured, she too wears a swimsuit.

"No offence Hibari, but you're not helping." Asuka retorted.

"You'll be fine. The frogs aren't going to bite you, after all." Katsuragi said.

"True, they don't particularly have fangs. They simply just swallow their prey whole." Akio explained.

"This isn't funny!" Asuka cried as she moved her foot towards the pool, before the foot could even touch the water, one brown frog jumped off and landed on it. The feeling of the frog on her feet sent shivers and her face turned blue.

"Wow, that's the ugliest of the bunch, too." Yagyu commented.

"Oh boy..." Akio sighed, this may take a while. He wondered if Asuka would ever conquer her fear of frogs, though he can understand how she feels, consider that he too used to be afraid of one animal in the past.

"I just can't do it!" Asuka cried out, reaching her limits. Just then, her foot, the one on the floor and on her toes, slips before falling to the pool creating a big splash sending frogs flying around. One frog landed on Ikaruga's lap before sliding through her skirt.

"WAAAAAH!" Ikaruga cried blushing before falling to her back.

"Oh, Ikaruga, are you showing an example for Asuka?" Katsuragi asked teasingly.

"That's not what I'm doing!" Ikaruga exclaimed before the frog slid through her cleavage and landed on her face.

"Look, Asuka. Just enjoy yourself the way Ikaruga is doing." Hibari said.

"Is she enjoying that?" Asuka asked, still in the pool.

"I don't think she's enjoying it." Yagyu retorted.

"P-Please take it off! Please take it off! Please take it off!" Ikaruga cried, now in fours, desperately to get the frog off her back.

"On it." Akio responded, going to Ikaruga before grabbing the frog off her back. Feeling that the frog was off her back, Ikaruga sighed in relief.

'Let's hope senpai doesn't develop the same fear as Asuka's.' Akio thought. One girl with a fear of frogs is enough.

After the little disaster, everybody decided to call it quits for today and continuing tomorrow, three of the students went back to the dorm while the remaining three went grocery shopping. Ikaruga proposed a welcoming party for Hanzo out of respect, Asuka joined in to help her out, and Akio tags along saying he wanted to familiarize shops and offering them a helping hand.

"Really, you don't have to be so considerate." Asuka said to Ikaruga. At the moment, the three of them were in front of the grocery store.

"Oh, but we do. Hanzo-sama is someone they call a legendary shinobi. We must show him some heartfelt hospitality." Ikaruga responded, checking at the vegetables.

"Though Hanzo-san doesn't seem to care as well he has a good time." Akio exclaimed.

"Hanzo-sama." Ikaruga corrected, looking at Akio, she had a stern look in her eyes. "Even if you knew Hanzo-sama in the past, he is still a legendary shinobi. So please show proper respect."

"Uwa…? Eh… hai..." Akio responded, taken by Ikaruga's scolding. She reminds him of the onee-sans he met in his childhood and experienced various scolds.

Ikaruga then looks at Asuka who has her eyes down. "Asuka?"

"You may be right. Grandpa is such an amazing person, while I..."

"I told you, there's no rush, didn't I?" Ikaruga said.

"Still, this is putting everyone else out so much." Asuka responded with an apologetic smile, feeling guilty for making everyone waste their time on her.

"You always try hard. Everyone else knows that. And we know that someday, that hard work will be rewarded." Ikaruga said.

Judged by their conversation, Akio could sense that Asuka is troubled, not the same as the summoning but different and personal. Akio has seen and heard the same thing plenty of times over his journey, she's going through a tough time in living up to everyone's expectations and fears that she may bring shame to her family, and the fact that her grandfather is a well known and powerful shinobi makes it much more pressure on her. Akio knew that one's from a shinobi family, they must live up to everyone's expectations and carry on their legacies, that he knows. But his grandfather once said to him; do not think much about how people view you, do as you must in your own strength and pace, feel free to put more effort. While he may not have known Asuka for long, given that he only got transferred yesterday, the stories Hanzo told him about Asuka's vigorous training and efforts during his youth, saying that he is proud of his granddaughter, hearing those stories motivates him and showing admirations for her hard work.

"Like what she said." Akio spoke, earning Asuka's attention. "You could do on your own pace or to surpass your limit, that effort you put on would surely show what you made off."

"Ikaruga-san, Akio-kun..." Asuka smiled, feeling touched.

Ikaruga smiled of approval for Akio's part of giving encouragement for Asuka, despite not knowing him much she could tell that he cares for his comrades and would help them out.

"Also… It's just, I had some trouble with that frog earlier, myself." Ikaruga said with a sweatdropped.

"Sorry about that." Asuka apologized.

"Let's just hope you won't develop a fear of frogs like Asuka." Akio chuckles.

"Chotto." Ikaruga said, giving a stern look.

"These bean sprouts are so expensive." The three of them turned their attention to the person who spoke. The one who said it was a girl looking at the bean sprouts displayed with a price tag.

The girl has fair skin with long blonde hair with a small green clip in it. Her outfit is somewhat reminiscent of a maid. She wears a teal green dress with a white slip underneath. The top of her dress only comes up to the bustline, and a single white collar wraps around her neck. On her arms, she has long white gloves and green diamond-shaped arm sleeves with white frill underneath. Around her waist is a small white apron with a shuriken pattern on them, and a belt that holds a brown bag and a strip of darts. She wears a teal beret with a large white bow on the back of it and an even larger bow on the back of her dress. Under her dress is a pair of white stockings covered by long brown boots with black bows at the top.

'A maid…?' Akio thought, looking at the odd looking dressed girl.

The girl turns around and face the three as she asks. "Don't you think so?"

"S-Sure..." Asuka responded.

Suddenly, Ikaruga took both Asuka and Akio's wrists and pulled them as they walked away, leaving the store.

"W-Wait, Ikaruga…!" Asuka was surprised by her upperclassman's action.

"Senpai?" Akio wondered by Ikaruga's action.

Ikaruga responded to the 2nd year students. "We were ordered not to have contact with outsiders-"

TWART-!

An object shooting passed Ikaruga's side of her face, interrupting her. The object hits on the board sign revealed to be a dart. The three were surprised, turning their attention towards the responsible; the maid girl.

"Bean sprouts are the food of commoners. You wouldn't be interested in them, would you?" The mysterious girl asked, she has a wrist-cannon tied on her right wrist. "This is the reason why I hate being raised as 'proper ladies'." The girl ended with a smile, yet despite looked like a gentler one there is something hidden.

The three are up for a surprise, sensing an upcoming conflict.

I hope this was okay.
