Author's Note: The moment of truth is here. Let's see how this would go for both sides... ... ... Who am I kidding! At best, it would go about just as nicely as it can get when prehistoric dinosaur people come to a world where the main powers and the other factions would try to exploit the crap out of them... only to then realize that it would be they that would get the ass-whooping from beings whose gods were not only real at some point during their civilization, but also gave them some of the most overpowered weapons, armor, techonology, and primordial monsters not even the most powerful factions (Cough-Cough, Agarthans and Nabataeans, Cough-Cough) could go up against without significant, if not astronomical, losses.
So then... (rubs hand together, before clapping them together.) let's see how long Fodlan can last before turning into a bloodbath of immense proportions.
Now with all of that of the way, please note that Fodlan would receive the most brutal, and obviously violent, prehistoric smackdown if things go south for all manners of diplomacy later down the line as the story moves forward. Trust me, It would be an ABSOLUTELY glorious spectacle to behold.

Chapter 1
Coming of the Ancient Saurians
Outer Reaches, Fodlan's Star System (Unknown)
Far beyond amidst the reaches of the star system, a golden portal has opened up from a tear into reality as a fleet of 20 or so colossol temple ships emerge from the tear, each one being the size of entire medieval cities, with the flagship, being the largest, spanning upwards of almost 6 kilometers in length. The ships are elongated with smooth, sleek bodies with rib-like structures near the rear of the ships, while tall pyramid-like structures stand erect over the top of the ships. 8 pairs of golden serpent statues are arranged on each side by the front of the ships to look as if they're constantly ready to strike at the foe. Finally at the bows of the ships, is the main structure of the ships' bows; a giant dinosaur-like head in the likeness of a beast known as a Dread Saurian, found by the Old Ones when they first arrived at their previous home. Within the head's mouth lies a giant orb that thrums with unspeakable power, harvested from the universe itself, that can open up and reveal a gigantic ion cannon, powerful enough to destroy either a large-sized moon or a small-sized planet. The pyramid-like structures at the top of the ships act not only as the main bridges from where the ships are linked and controlled in sync with one another, but also have communications chambers that are both psychically and magically powered by ancient technology that's indecipherable to all except the inhabitants themselves, allowing instant psychic communications to occur between each of the ships without having to worry about intruders trying to intercept their aetheric networks.
As they approach a backwater planet that their scanners showed has sustained life, the ships stopped near the planet's moon and turned on their invisibility-cloaking shields as the inhabitants onboard ponder upon their next actions. Soon, a few leaders of their respective ships conveyed together using their powerful minds and psyches to project a psychic connection to one another in order to see what to do with this new opportunity that's come before them.
-"Let us commence this convergent meeting to discuss what would be our actions upon this world in front of us." Began Nich-Yenha.
A slann of the third-generation who commands a Dreadnought-Class Ship known as Itzl's Fang, the slann was like the rest of his brethren being bulbous in size and body shape with an exceptional intellect when it comes to the protection of the fleet as he defended it time and time again from random obstacles in space on a collision course towards them, going ahead to ensure that no dangers could come to the fleet and leading the defenses against a few small-scale incursions from the remnants of Chaos worshippers who were teleported aboard by the last throes from their foul gods as they dissolve into inceptions. His skin has long begun to lose it orange-red color as the ages pass by, with pale blotches throughout his skin whose eyes still glow like that of a ethereal sun. He wields a specially mace made of enchanted obsinite and holds the powers of an exploding star that can act as both a magical conduit and melee weapon should he find himself in combat against his foes. Despite the slann being as old as he is, his mind and psyche are still as sharp as when he was spawned back in Lustria.
-"Agreed, we cannot let this opportunity pass by if this world we've come upon is but an omen of good fortunes for us to use it as part of the renewal of the Great Plan." Replied Gozcolluc-Zocl in a eccentric tone.
Another slann that's of the fourth generation, whose superstitious nature has led to most of the slann scrutinizing his actions on whether he acts out either on common sense or zealous rashness from his personality change as a result of his traumatizing experiences during the Fall of Lustria. His bright red skin contrasts heavily from the blue handprints that're seen on his body with crystalline eyes replacing his original ones when his eyes burned out of their sockets when he gaze into the Immaterium a few centuries ago, almosting losing himself to insanity when he saw the world he once protected twisted and defiled while being picked apart from the ascendent Chaos Gods. Despite this, Gozcolluc-Zocl is still given command of a Fortress-Class Vessel known as Chotec's Beacon, a vertical vessel with a similar design to the other ships but is able to create a void field that encases the fleet in thermal light that protects it from incoming fire and is also able to unleashed an enlarged version of the Engine of the Gods upon its foes.
-"We must take a certain level of caution, my fellow Slann, see to it that whatever plans have been made must go through in a way that doesn't endanger what remains of our kind and not let our ancient enemines know of our location. Especially you, Gozcolluc-Zocl." Warned Krult'zantir in a foreboding voice.
Another Slann of the Third Generation. His skin color looking similar to that of a Troglodon with black striping upon his back as a diamond pattern of purple comes from his cheeks down to his stomach. Ever since the Fall of Lustria and the world-that-was, Krult'zantir has always been the voice of caution and skeptism within the fleet, ensuring that whatever actions that are taken by the fleet is done with both perfection and subtlety to ensure the fleet's survival. Despite his behavior sometimes being overbearing to most, he has good reason to be this way, with his main questions for their actions being: "Does it endanger us in a way that can wipe us out?" "What if as a result of our actions, we damage the Great Plan even more, or, if our enemies discover us as a result of some small mistake that was overlooked?" Due to his cautious and almost no-nonsense behavior, he was put as second-in-command of the fleets' defences alongside Nich-Yenha in times of war and battle.
-"While your concern is indeed valid and a little bit of it wouldn't hurt, it still stands that this could be our only opportunity to possibly not only renew the Great Plan to its completion, but also possibly reunite with other members of our race that are still out there." Spoke Gozcolluc-Zocl, slightly optimistic about the possibilites while addressing his fellow Slanns' concern.
-"Yes, I understand this could be possibly our only opportunity, but how could we use this world as part of the Great Plan if we don't know where to begin with? How do we know what's on it won't try to attack us a response upon seeing on first sight? And what could this world possibly provide for us aside from potentially become our new home or an 'omen' as you say?" Asked the pale Slann, intent on interrogating his colorful compatriot about the actions they will take with almost no small amount of his trademark skeptism.
-"Then how about I would suggest sending a scouting party onto the planet to assess the situation. If what you, Krult'zantir, say is true, then they can be dealt in time in accordance to the revival of the Great Plan and see to it that the rest would eventually come to the fold." Countered the bright Slann, answering them with optimism yet with endearing logic and common sense.
The two contrasting were about to go into an arguement until Nich-Yenha stops them both by sending a small psychic wave with a gesture of his hand to retain order in the meeting.
-"Let us assess what we have at the moment before we devolve into arguements, shall we not?" Rumbled the Slann as both of the contesting Slann turned to him for him to say of his piece on the matter of the topic.
-"Yes, I agree with Gozcolluc-Zocl that we should take this opportunity to explore the planet for anything that we require and potentially colonize. However, I also agree with you, Krult'zantir, that we must employ caution as there's no doubt that some opposition will be met as we come to study this world. So I have come to a compromise between the two of you." Stated Nich-Yenha, his statement appeasing both Slann as they beckoned him to continue with his final verdict on the matter.
-"We shall send a scouting party, as Gozcolluc-Zocl suggested, to explore this new world; to understand it and its place in the revival of the Great Plan. However, should it prove to be too much for them to bear, as Krult'zantir most likely would say, we shall teleport back to the fleet, assess our final impressions on this world and hope we could find another world that's safer for us to colonize and use with the Great Plan." Said Nich-Yenha, with both Gozcolluc-Zocl and Krult'zantir nodding in agreement with this proposal.
-"Then who should we send to the planet's surface? If we were to send a scouting party, we need them to be at least understand the stakes and have the proper skills needed to traverse it. Pondered Krult'zantir as he says his thought out aloud with the other Slann also thinking of the exact same thing.
-"I suggest Oldblood Ar'racz-Tuteql, Master of the Heavens Tluk'Crok-lotl, and Chatz'axyutl, He Who Stalks Unseen for the labors ahead for this world." Said a fourth unknown voice that had the Slann immediately perk up almonst instantly as they recognize the voice of the true leader of the fleet.
-"As your will says, Invenerable One. We shall see them prepared for their task at once and send onto the surface of the world once they've been briefed on their mission." Replied Gozcolluc-Zocl in a reverant tone as he and the other Slann began to return their psyches to their mortal vessels to prepare the chosen for their new mission. With the new voice alone, he says his final words before returning to his own body.
-"So this is where you've been to. I can see that this world was your resting place, but I promise to you that your life's work would not be in vain, valued friend of the Old Ones. It's been ages since we last spoke to each other all those ages ago, hasn't it Progenitor God, or should I say Sothis?"
A/N:
Next chapter, we would see the scouting party assemble and finally arrive on Foldan's surface and maybe meet some certain royal somebodies and meet Sothis, or at least her latest vessel.
Stay tuned for more to come in The Crests of the Saurian.
