The rescue team were going as fast as they could carrying the person they had found on the boat. Buffer, 2dads and Spider were carrying him and the others were trailing behind. They were sure that no one else was on board as they had literally looked everywhere but being on this type of mission they didn't know what they would come up against next. The crew got down to the rig to get back to the Hammersley.
"Okay carefully put him in there. Carefully!" Kate said, trying not to disrupt the boat even more.
"You heard the X." Buffer backed her up.
The others nodded and put the man into the rig to take back. Kate looked back at the boat when the others got into the rig. Buffer stayed behind with her.
"Something wrong?" Buffer asked Kate.
"There's just something about this mission." Kate answered him.
"Feel like you're forgetting something?"
"Maybe. Let's go." Kate said getting into the rig. Buffer looked around and then got into the rig also.
The rig sped its way back to the Hammersley. Bomber and Spider were keeping an eye on their visitor just in case something went wrong. They just hoped they got back in time so Swaine could do something.

Swaine didn't know where to go. He was needed by the rescue team in medical but was needed in the bridge by Mike. Mike still hadn't come back and was now worrying everyone on the bridge to where he was. He really needed someone to go and find Mike but with Nav and Charge busy looking for any clues to why the boat was out here, he didn't have anyone to go and see.
"X to Swaine." The communicator said.
"Swaine here." Swaine replied.
"We're just about to get back, hope you're ready." Kate said.
"Right."
"Something wrong about that?"
"No. I'll be straight down."
"X out."
Swaine ended the conversation. He rushed down to the hull of the Hammersley to get the rig back on the ship. The rest of the crew who weren't too busy joined him in bringing the rig back in. They managed to get it back and Swaine rushed over to the patient. When he saw who it was, he nearly fainted but kept upright and got the patient down to the sick bay. Kate and the others from the rescue team went back to their jobs with Bomber following Swaine.

Kate, Buffer, 2dads, RO and Spider joined the rest of the team back on the bridge.
"Where's commander Flynn?" Kate chuckled.
"He needed some air." Charge answered her.
"Did he say when he was going to be back?"
"No Ma'am." Charge said, looking at her.
"Right. Let's hope he's back soon." Kate said to reassure the bridge who all looked a little worried about their CO.
"Ma'am." The bridge agreed.
"What do we know so far about this incident?" Kate asked Nav.
"Well, we know the Starlight, that's the boat in front of us, is a science vessel." Nav said.
"Marine science?" Kate asked.
"Yeah. It was supposed to be scanning and getting information on the marine life around these islands."
"So how come it was attacked then?" Spider spoke for the whole bridge.
"We don't know yet." Nav sighed.
"There must be something behind it." Kate spoke.
Nav nodded. Kate put her hand up to her forehead. She and the rest of the team were slightly confused about why this boat, which was a peaceful vessel, was attacked. Let alone torpedoed!
"Ma'am?" RO broke the silence.
"Yes RO." Kate answered.
"Commander White's on the phone. She needs to speak to Commander Flynn."
"Well, will she speak to me about it?" Kate asked RO.
"I don't know. She's just saying she wants to speak to Commander Flynn."
"Right. Well, I'd better take it." Kate said, picking up the phone.
RO switched something on the control board and the phone came to life.
"X here."
"Kate, how did the mission go?"
"It was interesting. We've managed to get someone off of the boat and back onto the Hammersley."
"What's their condition like?"
"It's bad. There's another thing Ma'am."
"Yes?"
"The boat, it's the starlight."
"What? How?"
"We don't know but hopefully our passenger will give us some information about it."
"Good. Keep me informed."
"Yes Ma'am."
Maxine stopped the communication and Kate put her phone down. She took in a deep breath and went back to checking information on the Starlight and why it was where it was.

Swaine and Bomber were working hard trying to deal with their new patient and also keeping out 2dads or Spider who always liked to put their noses in their work.
"Go and get me some more bandages, would you Bomber?" Swaine asked Bomber.
"Yeah sure." Bomber replied walking away.
Swaine looked down at his patient once she was gone. The patient had a bad head wound and what looked like some bruised organs. The patient hadn't exactly gotten out of the boat unscathed. Luckily it wasn't as bad as it first seemed and had calmed down a little since getting off the other boat.
"Here you go Swaine." Bomber said coming back into the sick bay.
"Thanks." Swaine said, taking the bandages.
"How's he doing?"
"Better. True he's got two good nurses looking after him."
"Who's that then?"
"Very funny. Let's just hope we can keep him that way."
"We will do."
Swaine patted Bomber on the back. Bomber moved off to do other things, leaving Swaine mostly in charge of the patient's care. Swaine checked the patient once again and then got back to filling in forms for other people on the Hammersley. Even though he knew none of them would be ill.
