Swaine was putting Mike in a bed in the sick bay whilst Bomber watched on. Kate had to go back to the bridge to watch over everything but sent her regards. Swaine had sent Jim to his quarters on board so he could just focus on Mike for now.

"What's wrong with him?" Bomber asked quietly.

"I'm sure he won't want it spread around the whole ship." Swaine answered her.

"I won't tell anyone."

"You'll tell Spider and it will spread like wildfire."

"You don't trust me then?"

"Not right now no."

"I'd better get back to the bridge." Bomber finally decided.

"Tell Kate I'll be up in a minute." Swaine waved.

Bomber tutted, she had wanted to stay but Swaine knew better. She went up to the bridge to see what she could do up there and hoped not to be in the way there. Swaine didn't even turn round to see her go and carried on checking everything around Mike. Mike was still unconscious which concerned Swaine but didn't want to disturb him.

Bomber joined everyone on the bridge. She sat down next to Spider before being told by Nav to move so she could get to her station.

"So…" Spider started saying.

"Thanks for helping me earlier." Bomber finally said.

"Who are you and what have you done with Bomber?" Spider said, surprised.

Bomber punched Spider in the arm. Spider smiled at her and went back to his work even though he didn't really know what he was doing. Kate was looking out into the ocean. The Starlight was still there, obviously it wasn't as bad as it looked. She was still very confused about it being there for a week and no one had investigated it.

"Nav?" Kate asked Nicki.

"Yes Ma'am." Nav answered her.

"Have we got any other ships in the area over the past few days?"

"Doesn't look like it."

"Found anything else?"

"Buffer is looking into why the army was there. Just waiting for his response now."

"Right. Let's hope he finds something."

Nav nodded and went back to scanning the area. Kate started to bite her nails. It always calmed her when something very serious was going on. Buffer came up with a report just as she started. He looked very happy with himself which usually didn't happen.

"What have you got there?" Kate asked him as he walked up to her.

"Where those army lot have come from." Buffer said passing the information over to her.

"Well, let's have a look." Kate said, taking the information.

Buffer looked over Kate's shoulder whilst she read it. Kate read it over and over again to make sure she had taken it all in.

"So they got the distress call too." Kate decided.

"Seems so." Buffer said to her.

"But where's their ship?"

"It seems as though some of them stayed on board the ship and the boat left without them."

"Why would they do that?"

"They thought they would come back later I guess."

"Right. At least we know where they come from then. Still need to figure out what happened though."

"That's next." Buffer said, taking back the information from Kate.

"Good."

Buffer rolled his eyes. He had done all this work and Kate hadn't exactly taken to it. Hopefully she would be a bit more interested when he comes up with the next bit of information. Spider watched him walk back, he nearly started laughing.

"Don't you dare." Bomber pushed him.

"I can't help it." Spider said, holding back laughter.

"Don't he'll see!" Bomber said, nearly laughing also.

"What's going on over there?" Kate asked them.

"Nothing Ma'am." Bomber answered.

"Good get back to work."

"Yes Ma'am." Bomber said, still holding back laughter.

Bomber and Spider looked at each other. It was nice to know they had made up again, Kate noticed. The rest of the bridge crew had also noticed this and now the crew were closer than ever.

"Spider, Bomber?" Kate called them.

"Yes Ma'am." They both answered.

"Go and check what Swaine is up to please."

"Yes Ma'am." They answered again.

Spider and Bomber went out of the bridge with their hands over their mouths just in case a chuckle did come out of them. Kate and Nav rolled their eyes, you couldn't take those two anywhere!

Bomber and Spider were on their way to the sick bay when they noticed water on the floor. They looked at each other and then followed where the water was coming from. It didn't lead anywhere however, and the water stopped suddenly. It didn't lead anywhere so they didn't think anything of it.

They went into the sick bay. Swaine was sitting down writing some files. He looked up from his work and smiled.

"What do you two want?"

"We came to see the CO." Spider spoke.

"He's still out of it right now." Swaine said looking back to where Mike was lying.

"Right. Do you know when he's going to be awake?" Bomber asked.

"Nope."

"Can you tell us when he is?" Spider questioned.

"Nope."

"What? Why?" Spider begged.

"Because you two aren't in charge." Swaine said shooing them out the door.

"But Swaine…" Bomber pleaded.

"Let me get on with my work." Swaine pleaded back.

"Fine." Spider huffed.

Bomber sighed but Spider was right they should leave Swaine to it. Kate would tell the crew when Mike got better and they would have to wait till then. Bomber and Spider left. Swaine was just about to get back to work when Mike started to stir. Swaine went over to him.

"Whoa be careful." Swaine chuckled as Mike sat up.

"Swaine…" Mike chuckled.

"You took a bad fall."

Mike sat up on the edge of the bed. He put his hand up to the wound on his head, luckily now it was covered by a bandage. He smiled when he noticed this. Swaine was getting impatient.

"Sir… I know there's something bigger behind this." Swain sighed.

Mike looked up at Swaine.

"There is."

"As the medic on this boat, I should really know if there is."

"I haven't told anyone yet."

"Told anyone what?"
