Epilogue
It was a week after the final battle with Itto Aki and his Yokai-gumi that Sir Integra Hellsing was willing to believe they were gone from England's shores. Once it was confirmed that they were gone, she went to Akiko and laid out her plan to make sure that no Yokai of ill intent will appear in England again. When the kitsune heard the details of her plan, she said, "Are you sure that Seras will agree to this? It could be embarrassing for her after all. And I'm not sure how long it will last, this is combining two completely different forms of magic that have never been combined before. The fact is that I'm not sure what could happen." Sir Integra nodded and said, "I'm willing to take that risk if Seras is."
The two of them went to Seras and told her their plan. After thinking for a few minutes, she said, "I'll do it. From the way I see it, if it works then the British Government has a good reason to keep me alive for a very long time. And if it doesn't work, then at least I won't be hurt by it." Akiko nodded, "Now then, we'll need to go to an area of significant power in England. And there are a number of ancient sites in this country that could count. The only question is which site should we choose to perform the ritual."
That was when Alucard stepped out of the shadows, "I can help with that. I've been all around this island during my service to the Hellsing Family. I've sensed powerful magics swirling around a number of areas, but the place where it was highest was in Wiltshire. The Avebury Circle there is even more ancient than the famous Stonehenge, and there is so much power in the area that even a human can feel it. It should be easy to get the government to help block off the area long enough for us to perform this warding ritual you want to try." The older vampire chuckled, "Of course, this will be out in the open. Can my little Seras stand the embarrassment?" Seras hid her face from him but said, "I can handle this just fine. I'm not the same as I was thirty years ago, you know." Alucard chuckled again and left.
The next night, soldiers from Parliament supplemented the Hellsing soldiers as they cordoned off the Avebury Circle in Wiltshire. It was a large area, and many soldiers were needed to make sure no civilians arrived that could ruin Akiko's warding ritual. Akiko was inside a tent after having purified herself according to Shinto custom and was focusing her spirit and mind. She would need to concentrate for this to work. Alucard entered the tent without his sunglasses and hat on and said, "Seras is ready for you." Akiko nodded and stepped out of the tent. Seras was laying down nude on a stone slab surrounded by a magic circle filled with symbols of Japanese and Kabbalistic magic.
Akiko entered the magic circle and it started to glow a light blue as she bowed her head and her hands made various symbols and she chanted with each new warding hand sign, "Rin, pyo, toh, sha, kai, jin, retsu, zai, zen!" The circle glowed even brighter around the two women as Akiko picked up a brush that laid beside Seras and then bit her thumb. Akiko let her blood spill into an inkpot and mixed the ink with her blood with the brush. She then started to draw symbols on Seras' body, starting at her first chakra point on the crown of her head, to the second between her eyebrows, the third on her throat, the fourth over her heart, the fifth on her navel, the sixth above her groin, and the final one at the base of her spine.
Akiko repeated the hand signs, and the symbols over Seras' chakra symbols glowed red. Akiko then painted symbols like those in the circle surrounding them all over Seras' body. It took hours to do this, and when she was done, not an inch of Seras' body wasn't covered with the painted symbols, not even her shadow-arm was uncovered. When she was done with this, Akiko sighed and pressed her hands together and said in English and Japanese, "By the Gods of the Earth, the Heavens, and the Seas, I banish away all evil spirits from this land! So long as this being, Seras Victoria exists on this Plane of Existence, let no spirit of ill-intent ever taint this land of England with their presence!" Akiko clapped her hands together once more, and the circle around them glowed pure white along with the symbols on Seras' body.
There was a bright flash, and when the light dissipated, the magic circle and symbols on Seras' body appeared to be gone. However, between her breasts, there was now a circle as large as a 2 pence coin. It seemed black, but when one looked closer they could see the symbols inside of it. "I guess this means that it's over," Seras finally said. Akiko nodded, "Yes, it's over. If all goes well, no Yokai with evil plans will be able to come to England ever again." Seras stood up as shadows surrounded her nude body before forming her uniform, "Good, I was starting to feel stiff as a corpse laying down like that. And I think the sun is about to come up in a few minutes too."
Everyone boarded the military trucks that they came in with. Akiko and Alucard were riding alone in the back of a truck. Alucard looked at Akiko and said, "How is your thumb?" Akiko told him, "It's closed up. But if you're hungry…" She offered her hand to him and Alucard kneeled closer to her. He took her thumb in his mouth and lightly bit the wound to make it bleed again. He took in the sweet taste of her virgin blood. "We're certainly a strange sight," Akiko chuckled as her tail and ears showed. Alucard only smiled as he sat up to kiss her. "I don't care. I haven't had a normal life in centuries," Alucard told her. Akiko yawned, and Alucard let her rest her head on his lap for the rest of the trip back to Hellsing.
