This is honestly just a short drabble that I did for no apparent reason.(musicalverse) I guess I was just bored. I have no intent of continuing this piece. Anyway, I hope you all had a great holiday! Thanks for reading!

"What are you writing?" Galinda asked, twirling her golden locks around her finger listlessly. Her antisocial green roommate was hunched over on the floor in the corner of her room– their room. She couldn't believe her luck. She rented a private suite but was now forced to share it.
"Nothing that concerns you," Elphaba replied, not even looking up to face her. Galinda huffed in umbrage. No matter how much she wanted to ignore the other girl, she had to admit that she was curious. She was curious about how the green woman sat in such a position, her bony frame jutting out awkwardly as she scribbled in a worn notebook, occasionally flipping through the stack of books next to her. She didn't look uncomfortable, but she didn't seem pleased about the arrangement either. Galinda also wondered what she was writing about. How could one write for hours on end without stopping? What was so important?
"What are you looking at?" Elphaba finally asked after a long silence. She still wasn't looking at her, but she had still noticed her stare.
"Why aren't you using the desk? You'll get stiff if you continue sitting like that." Galinda told her, which seemed to finally catch her attention. She scoffed and looked up, her brown eyes analyzing Galinda.
"I'd use it if your stuff wasn't scattered all over." She replied nonchalantly, her stare unnervingly steady as she gazed at her. Galinda's face flushed in embarrassment as she noticed that her books were indeed strewn messily all over the desk, along with some pens and papers.
"Well, I was doing my work, Miss Elphaba." She sassed as she gathered her belongings and placed them in a neat pile in the corner. A small smirk pulled at her roommate's lips.
"You never cease to amaze me, Miss Galinda." She replied, sarcasm dripping in her voice.
"Hey!" She protested, "I do care about my grades, you know?" Elphaba's smirk spread wider as she walked towards the desk.
"I'm just surprised." She answered, plopping her books down on the desk and promptly ignoring her again.
"And this is what I get for being nice," Galinda grumbled, sure that the other woman was rolling her eyes right now. "And Miss Elphaba?" Elphaba actually looked up at her this time, blinking expectantly.
"Mhmm?"
"You're welcome." She told her, drawing a snort from her. Galinda huffed again before marching out of the room, finally giving Elphaba the peace and quiet that she had wanted as she continued writing whatever was in that Lurline-damned notebook.
