Jim waved his gun at Bomber and Nav to sit back down. Neither of them moved. They didn't want to leave Kate by herself at the front of the bridge. Jim could easily shoot her once they were gone. RO and Charge were now both standing just to make sure nothing else happened. Buffer was helping the other bridge members in case they were nervous about the situation.
"Move! I don't want to shoot you." Jim hissed at Bomber and Nav.
"We're not going anywhere." Bomber hissed back.
Jim sighed as he moved the gun again. Kate was still thinking about what Mike was up to. He can't just leave them on the bridge to sort it out for themselves! Could he?
"Why did you do this Jim?" Nav finally asked.
"Why did I do this?" Jim chuckled.
"Yeah why did you?" Bomber backed Nav.
Jim shrugged and shook his head. Nothing else came out of his mouth. Both women were left bemused by this answer. Jim carried on pacing the bridge floor.

Maxine and Marshall got to the port where they were going to meet Hammersley. However, they found nothing for them. They had called the admiral back in to join his own boat to help the Hammersley out.
"What? I don't understand." Maxine rushed forward.
"Maxine…" Marshall tried to stop her going into the water by pulling her back.
"They should be here by now." Maxine put her hands to her head.
Then Marshall's communicator came to life. Marshall quickly answered it hoping for some sort of answer to what was going on. Maxine also looked over hopefully but also kept an eye on the water to see if anyone was coming.
"Marshall." Marshall answered.
"It's Captain Archer here sir." The captain of the Apollo said.
"Archer what is going on out there?" Marshall demanded.
"We don't know. The Hammersley has gone silent."
"What was their last communication?"
"That they were happy to see us."
"That was it?!"
"Yes sir. What are we supposed to do exactly?"
Marshall looked out into the water. Normally he would take a bit longer to think over decisions. However, now he would have to make a snap decision to somehow save everyone.

Onboard the Apollo, Captain Archer was still waiting for orders when another communication came in. one of the other officers on the bridge picked it up.
"Apollo bridge." The officer answered.
The officer suddenly jerked and elbowed the captain in the ribs. The captain was a little worried about this.
"What are you doing?!" Archer mouthed.
"It's the Hammersley sir." The officer mouthed back.
"I'm afraid I'm going to have to call you back sir." Archer ended the call to Marshall.
Archer might have just ended a call with an admiral but this sounded a lot more important. The officer passed the communicator over to Archer and Archer gratefully took it.
"Hello Hammersley?" Archer asked.

"Sir they've answered." Swaine jumped for joy.
"Give it here Swaine." Mike chuckled at this reaction.
Swaine passed over the communicator to Mike before he dropped it from excitement!
"It's Lieutenant Commander Flynn here." Mike said.
"Captain Archer. It's good to hear your voice Mike." Archer's relieved voice came back.
"It's good to hear yours too. Have you got anything from the bridge?"
"Not really. We were hoping you'd tell us what was going on."
"I'm down in my quarters. I can't really tell you anything."
Mike heard Archer sigh.
"Mike we are running out of options here."
"I know you are." Mike said looking over at Swaine. He knew what he would say next would really bother Swaine.
"Mike? Something wrong?" Archer urged.
"You're going to have to board us." Mike sighed finally giving into the inevitable.
Swaine looked up when Mike had said this. He hated when anyone said that, usually saying in jest but when the commander of the ship said it, it meant business.
"You're serious about it?" Archer asked, just making sure.
"I'm afraid so Archer. Good luck."
"Thanks Mike." Archer ended the call.
Mike dropped the communicator, which crashed onto the floor. This made Swaine jump about a million miles into the air. Once Swaine had come back down again, Mike got up from his seat.
"Boarded?" Swaine asked with a higher pitch than usual.
"I'm afraid it's the only thing we have left." Mike shrugged.
"Can we trust Archer to look after us?"
"Yes Swaine we can. Archer is a great captain, he can do this."
Mike leaned up against the door. Swaine was a little confused to see Mike do this but knew it was for some purpose so let it be for now. Mike could see his confusion.
"Archer might know where we are but just in case." Mike smiled.
Swaine nodded as he sat down next to the window. He was usually quite happy to see the ship stopped at a dock somewhere but now it worried him so and just added to the drama around this whole situation.
000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
Archer put the communicator down a bit more carefully than Mike did. He hated having to order boarding but like Mike said it was the only option they had left.
"What's our orders sir?" One of his officers asked.
"Order our striking team to board the Hammersley. We're going in." Archer nodded at the officer.
"Yes sir." The officer nodded going to tell the others the plan.
Archer watched on as officers on the bridge went about telling the other ships of the fleet. Mike was a good friend to Archer and he didn't want to see the Hammersley fall like this without a fight.

Kate, Nav, Bomber and the rest of the bridge crew of the Hammersley were still unaware of the plan being hatched to save them. All they knew was there was a marine holding a gun in their faces and if they didn't do what he told them then they were done for.
"Now it doesn't look like Apollo is doing anything. Shall we have a game?" Jim chuckled at their scaredness.
"A game?" Kate exclaimed.
"Yes. Anyone want to play?" Jim looked around the bridge.
The crew looked at each other bewildered. They didn't know how to answer this question whatsoever. What was Jim planning?
"Anyone? Oh come on. Let's have some fun." Jim shouted.
The crew still remained silent. Kate had told them not to say anything in case Jim wanted something. It was good to see them keeping their end of the bargain.
"Nobody? No one wants to play the game?" Jim looked around once again in case anyone had changed their mind.
RO and Charge's station buzzed. Both of them tried to stifle the noise which they did so successfully. Luckily with Jim's notice elsewhere, they bobbed down again to see what this was.
"Isn't there an off button on this thing?" RO hissed quietly.
"You're welcome to try and find one." Charge snapped back.
"Why's it making all this noise anyway?"
"I don't know."
Charge looked everywhere for some sign of where the noise came from. They wanted to be as quick as they could so Jim wouldn't see their movement. Charge finally found the source of the noise. He managed to make sure it wasn't going to make any more noise and saw why it sounded.
"Another signal from Apollo." Charge sighed.
"What are they saying?" RO asked.
"They're going to board us."
