Kate tried to get the bridge's crew back to normal, before she went down to find Jim and Bomber. Hopefully she could get Bomber back safely before something happened or before the boarding party got to them. She knew she could trust Archer but her crew might not be the same. Nav was the most shaken but after what happened with ET no one was too surprised.

"Bomber… Bomber.." She kept shaking.

"It's okay. We'll find her." Kate tried to reassure her.

Kate looked back at Buffer trying to get some reassurance from someone else. Buffer looked away and gave no reassurance.

"The boarding party is nearly here." Charge tried to change the mood.

"Thank you Charge." Kate smiled.

"Should I tell captain Archer about what happened?" Charge asked.

Kate just shook her head as she tried to get a grip of the situation. Nav shook a few more times and then nodded at Kate to show she had calmed down now.

"That's better." Kate rubbed Nav's shoulders.

"Thank you." Nav mouthed.

Kate nodded once again and walked over to join Charge and RO. both of the sailors knew the ship more than anyone so she could do with their help.

"So do we know where they are?" Kate asked, biting her fingernails.

"Looks like they're heading towards the deck. There's a few crew there but it's not likely they'll be able to stop Jim." RO shook his head in shame.

The communicator rang once again. Everyone sighed with relief now that they knew help was on the way. Kate answered the communicator.

"Kate?" Maxine's voice asked.

"Commander White." Kate sighed thankfully.

"You sound happier." Maxine chuckled.

Kate had to stop in her sentence. Yes she was happier but now Bomber was gone for a while, she didn't know how to feel.

"Kate?" Maxine asked.

"Jim's gone but he has Bomber…" Kate said.

"Bomber? Has Archer's team come aboard yet?"

"Not yet. That's what we're scared of."

Kate heard Maxine sigh on the other side of the phone. She then heard typing coming from her side. Obviously, Maxine was trying to get hold of Archer to stop him from harming Bomber.

"Marshall's calling Archer now." Maxine finally spoke.

"Thank goodness. Let's hope everything turns out alright." Kate smiled.

The communication ended. Kate knew Maxine would do everything in her power to stop any harm coming to the crew.

"We'll just have to wait and see." Kate told the bridge crew.

The bridge crew all sat down. Spider was the most worried with where Bomber was. Kate sat down next to him to try and give him some comfort.

"She's going to be alright Spider." Kate whispered.

Spider didn't say or do anything. He just sat there and looked at the steps hoping somehow Bomber would come back up them without Jim. However, he knew that wasn't possible at the moment.

Mike and Swaine were still waiting for the boarding party to go past. Both of them knew it would be a while before they came but they wanted to be out and done before anything happened.

"Where are they?!" Swaine hissed.

"Swaine…" Mike told Swaine off.

Before Swaine could talk back they heard a whimper come from outside the door. Mike put a finger to his mouth. He then stood and put his ear to the door.

"Stop your whining!" Jim's voice could be heard.

Mike's eyes went smaller as he heard the voice of the marine he used to trust. Swaine kept quiet but went from one foot to the other to show his disdain.

"If you don't stop, I'll leave you here with a bullet inside you." Jim hissed.

That was the final straw. Mike reached for the door handle. He twisted with such force it wouldn't be a surprise if it came off. In front of him stood Jim holding Bomber by the throat. Swaine soon followed him out of the door.

"Let her go." Mike hissed at Jim.

"Oh everyone's been looking for you." Jim chuckled.

"Let her go!" Mike hissed again.

Swaine stayed behind Mike but also had a stern look on his face. Jim held Bomber even tighter. Bomber was happy to see her CO helping her but was running out of air.

"But sir I can't stop it now!" Archer said in communication with Marshall.

"Well tell them he has a hostage then." Marshall said back.

"I'll try sir." Archer nodded.

Archer put the communicator down. He then turned to the bridge crew of his own ship. Most of them cared deeply for the Hammersley crew. None of them wanted to see it in ruin.

"Get me the commander of the rig now." Archer told them.

The bridge crew rushed to get what he commanded. Archer nearly doubled over. He had to lean on the command center in front of him.

"Sir?" One of the crew asked.

"Well?" Archer asked back.

"We've got the commander sir." The crewmen smiled.

Archer took the communicator. Happy to know he finally could talk to the commander.

"Yes sir?" The voice came back.

"Be careful. The marine appears to have a hostage." Archer told him.

"Got that sir." The communication ended.

Archer put the communicator close in case he needed it again. With everything that had been going on, it wouldn't be a surprise to have something else change.

Mike didn't know what to do. He knew the rigs couldn't be far off but until they got there what could he do? Swaine didn't have much clue either. Both of them just stood there hoping Jim would somehow change his mind and let Bomber go free.

"You know the rigs will be here soon." Mike told Jim.

"What good will they do?" Jim almost chuckled.

"They can get rid of you." Swaine piped up.

Before Jim could disagree, all of them heard rumbling coming from the deck. They then heard voices, some raised and some not. Mike and Swaine sighed quietly in relief.

"They're here." Mike nodded at the door.

Jim's breathing became quicker as he heard this. Bomber breathing became slower as she knew somehow safety would come. The door soon opened and four of the boarding party were standing on the other side. Jim pointed the gun at them.

"Put that down." Mike tried to persuade Jim.

"I can't." Jim said, shaking.

"It's over. Put it down." Mike tried again.

The hold on Bomber released her. She was hugged closely by Swaine once this happened. Mike looked back to make sure she was okay. She smiled weakly and Mike turned back.

"Mike?" Archer's voice asked over one of the men's radios.

The man gave Mike the radio. Mike was very happy to hear Archer's voice after all this. He kept an eye on Jim just to make sure however.

"It's alright Archer. We're alright." Mike reassured his friend.

"And the hostage?" Archer asked, somewhat relieved to hear this.

"She's fine. Thanks to you." Mike chuckled.

"Alright. I'll call you when this is over." Archer stopped the communication.

Mike handed the radio back and turned back to Jim. Jim slowly put the gun down and was charged by one of the rig men. It was over. Finally.
