A Week Later

Illyasviel von Einzbern was walking through the streets of Fuyuki City carefree, intent on meeting the boy that stole Kiritsugu from her. Why wouldn't she be carefree? An invisible presence always hovering near her, someone she could only see. Her Servant, Berserker.

Her invincible guardian would crush anyone who dared to threaten her safety and with him, she would single-handedly win the stupid grail. She knew that the boy would be a Master, if not then it would be so so boring~.

Oh, there he was! Emiya Shirou.

He looked down-trodden as he walked on the pathway, where he was about to meet her. She didn't care because this was her plan all along, she wanted to make him aware of her, so he would be terrified as he tried to guess when she would come for him.

She merrily walked by him and as she was about to deliver her message to him, something crashed onto her face, leaving her to crash onto the ground.

"Eep!"

She let out a squeak as a honk echoed from the thing sitting on her face. Frustrated, she grabbed the thing and threw it off her face.

"Are you alright?" A boy's voice questioned and she was tempted to call Berserker and just stomp him to the ground, when she saw that he offered his hand for her. Illya looked up to his face and upon seeing his kind smile and warm eyes, she felt her cheeks heat up. She hesitantly grabbed his hand and stood up.

"Thank you for helping me up." She thanked him, because she was a lady. She was raised with proper manners is all. After this, she was going to cru-

"I see. Are you lost? It's dangerous for little girls to be out at this time, you know!" Emiya Shirou told her and upon realizing that he didn't even know her. He didn't even know what HE ST-

A hand rested upon her head and when she looked up, she saw that kind smile, that smile that reminded her of days long past.

And as fate itself changed upon these two wayward siblings interacting at this point in time, a particularly spectacular goose watched in content.

'Ah yes, all according to plan!'

It honked in joy as the two siblings walked away as the boy led her to a nearby gas station. Intent to find her parents.

"It's a beautiful night in Fuyuki City and I'm a horrible goose."

And of course. As I monologued to myself for the hype, Illya questioned barely in hearing distance, "Wait, what hit me earlier?"
