A/N #1: Loved getting the feedback I did for the last chapter, so I'll go ahead and get started on my thank yous for that! TORONTOSUN (Happy to see you thought the last chapter was very good writing. And I'm glad you liked how I brought Darnley in since I enjoy writing him in!) and

Mb (Happy to read you thought the last chapter was another good one. And not surprised you were glad that Beckett's warning shout let Darnley avoid getting hit dead on by the car. Also not surprised you think them going after Skye and Darnley was a distraction to put blame on someone else. I was glad that you thought it was good with them relaxing together and seeing how Darnley and Nkosi are with their family. Not surprised you think it's the lull before the storm and that all hell will break loose. Really pleased you thought the flashback of Beckett and Darnley together at dinner and playing in the arcade was sweet and funny. And I'm happy to see you thought it was them cementing their special friendship since it definitely was! You're welcome for the first half! I was glad that you enjoyed Castle and Beckett being loving and sexy being them. And you're right that it was the perfect way to not think about the case while they're away from their family. Nice to read you thought the flashbacks were fantastic memories during their past lives. Not surprised you too are wondering if they've run into any of their past life grandchildren and great grandchildren. You're welcome for sharing the second half!).

Thanks for the reviews, I loved reading them and appreciate the time taken to write them out and send them my way!

Put Down In Words

Kissing at the top of his wife's shoulder, Castle smiled as he watched her eyes slowly open and he told her, "Good morning love."

"Morning," Beckett replied, sleepily. She turned to lay on her back and smiled at her husband as he was brushing her hair from her cheek. "How long have you been staring at me?" she asked him.

"Not that long," Castle said honestly. "I have been sleeping," he added when she was looking at him in feigned suspicion. He leaned down to her, kissing her gently before saying, "And what a view I had."

"Sap," Beckett said teasingly.

"Oh," Castle said as his wife was pushing herself up to sit. "That reminds me, I was dreaming of our past life last night."

"Me too," Beckett said.

"When was yours?" Castle asked her quickly.

Smiling at him, Beckett leaned over and kissed her on the lips before telling him, "It was in the middle of January after our wedding." She explained to him what she'd dreamt of, not surprised he was shifting while she was describing them making love. "It was nice to remember," she commented.

"Yeah, I guess I should tell you about mine now?" Castle asked her.

"That would be nice," Beckett replied.

"Okay," Castle said, trying to ignore his arousal though he'd been dealing with it since he'd woken up. He shook himself and said, "It was after our second Christmas, that night after we were on our own. We sat next to the tree together and I gave you a strand of pearls for your last gift. And then we went up to our room and we made love."

Beckett immediately leaned over to her husband and kissed him lightly on the lips before she pulled back and told him, "Of course we did. But I'd like to eat breakfast so we can be ready if Patrick calls us."

"Sure," Castle said. He was taken aback for a moment when his wife kissed him again and then told her, "You're right, I just…"

"I can see," Beckett replied. She smiled when her husband suddenly reached for the bed sheet that had moved off him enough and told him, "And it's nothing I haven't seen before."

"So the love is lost now?" Castle asked.

"No," Beckett said firmly. She brushed her lips to her husband's and told him, "Order for us?"

Castle was about to speak, having been moving to leave the bed, but then stopped himself and said, "You still want to?"

"Something," Beckett said vaguely. She wasn't surprised when her husband was hesitating before he left the bed to get dressed in his pajamas. She did the same herself but wasn't wearing anything underneath as she knew he noticed. She expected him to comment on that but when he asked her what she wanted she didn't show her surprise and instead said, "I was thinking the veggie scramble."

"Sure, want to share something?" Castle asked.

"That's okay," Beckett replied. "What're you getting?"

"The American breakfast," Castle said quickly. You can have some of the bacon I'll be getting and potatoes if you'd like some."

"I would," Beckett replied. She watched him going to the living room and went to the couch to wait before he was coming back.

"I'm still surprised at you Kate," Castle told his wife as he went back into the bedroom and sat next to her.

"So you're doubting whether we should?" Beckett teased him.

"Oh no," Castle said quickly. "Just surprised."

Beckett laughed softly and leaned over to him, kissing him gently on the lips and said, "Don't be, I'm not looking at making love."

"Fooling around?" Castle asked. When she nodded, he groaned and then said, "We better stop."

"I'm sure it'll be a man that brings the food," Beckett told him jokingly.

"I can hope," Castle replied. He then paused and said, for an obvious distraction, "I didn't even notice the weather."

"It cleared up luckily," Beckett said. "I just hope that helps us and not Loewe or Murphy."

"You think it could be them both?" Castle asked.

Shaking her head Beckett said, "I don't really want to speculate but we need to find them." She looked at her husband as he took her hand then and smiled when he started to kiss the palm and then fingertips gently before they were sharing a tender kiss. She could have spent a very long time that way but there was a knock on the door, and she let her husband go. She wasn't surprised when he'd closed the doors behind him and she waited until he was opening one of the two doors, smiling at her before he spoke as soon as he saw her.

"Sorry, I'm possessive," Castle said.

"Don't worry," Beckett told him as she was standing up to walk over to him while he opened the second door. She gave him a quick kiss before she said, "I know I'm showing." She cupped his cheek as her husband was shuddering heavily in response to that and then turned her attention to the table. "The guy didn't say anything?" she asked as he'd moved the table back to the window.

Shaking his head, as he was taking a little more time to recover from what'd she'd said, Castle told her, "I figured others had to have done that before."

"P-" Beckett began, about to say the word probably. She was cut off by her husband grabbing her as he'd sat down on one of the chairs, sucking at her nipple through the camisole she'd put on. "Oh… wait… Rick…" she moaned as he was affecting her quickly. She made him stop and she cupped his cheek with her hand before leaning down.

Holding onto her tightly, Castle was kissing her hungrily and their tongues were meeting and rubbing together until they had to stop to breathe. "I couldn't stop myself," he said as he reluctantly let her go so she could sit next to him. "You look amazing."

"So do you," Beckett replied.

Castle was about to thank her when he was suddenly jumping as she was gently tugging his nipple through his shirt. "Okay… thanks but… I'm going to take you on top of the food if we don't start eating right now," he told her seriously though the nub was throbbing in pleasure at her touch.

"I know, but you were fair last night," Beckett began. "Don't stop now."

"I won't," Castle promised her. He leaned over to her, kissing her lightly on the lips before they parted and turned their attention to their food. They were talking about random subjects, knowing she wanted to distract them as much as he did. But they were finally finished with their food and he was taking their empty plates out to the hall before he hurried into the bedroom, pausing when he saw what his wife was doing.

"Come on," Beckett told him as she had pulled off her camisole. "We need to take a shower." She wasn't surprised when her husband merely nodded and she said, "Hurry."

"Yeah," Castle said in a rush before he was following her, discarding his clothes as well before they were going to the shower stall where he stopped her by cupping her ass. Without a word he went inside and turned on the water before he held his hand out to his wife to allow her to step inside before he was pulling her in. As soon as she was, he was wrapping his arms around her, kissing her deeply while hers wound around his neck. Their tongues met inside her mouth and he was dueling with her playfully until they parted. "You said we need to be fast?" he asked her breathlessly once they had parted.

"I may regret that," Beckett said as she was nodding at the same time.

Shaking his head, Castle said, "I've wanted to make love to you."

"You did last night," Beckett reminded him as he had the first time they'd been intimate returning to their suite. "And I don't care what we do, just as long as you satisfy me."

"I'm catering to you now?" Castle asked, backing her up against the wall with a smirk at her.

Biting her lower lip, as she could feel the cool tile on her back, Beckett was wrapping her arms around his neck before she said, "I'd love for you to."

"Always love," Castle said seriously.

Beckett gasped as her husband suddenly picked her up before her back was leaning against the wall. She had her legs wrapped around him and she watched the best she could as her husband was sliding within her. She cried out in joy at the sensation before he was starting to thrust and she was scrambling to match him. It was difficult and eventually she had to allow him to take care of things himself. She didn't mind in the end, as it allowed her to focus on him fully, taking in the feel of his length driving into her and repeatedly rubbing against her sex. The way he was filling her every time he sank in was making her almost lightheaded. But before she could consider that she was reaching her orgasm and she only had a moment to cry out his name before she was moaning and gasping heavily in reaction to the ecstasy that he was filling her with. He was joining her shortly after and she was digging her nails into his skin as she listened to him groaning her name in his own joy. When they had calmed down nearly at the same time, she was holding on tightly still to her husband saying, "I'm so glad you did that."

"Me too," Castle replied with a smile, helping her down. They then started to clean each other off by washing the other in turn with their soap before they were kissing again. When they slowly parted, he told her, "Are you sure about tonight now?"

"Let's wait and see what we end up doing," Beckett said with a soft laugh. "We have to focus on the case."

Though he wanted to concentrate on her, Castle nodded and they finished showering before he grabbed a towel, bringing it back to his wife and drying her off. Once he was finished, he had no choice in letting her do the same to him when she took the towel firmly out of his hands. He was doing his best to control his arousal as she was running it over him and he said, "Do you want to call him?"

"Don't worry," Beckett replied with a smile as she was handing him the towel. "I know what you're trying to do. Just get dressed."

"Yeah, easy for you to say," Castle said, rolling his eyes before he smiled. "I'll manage."

"Good," Beckett said, reaching for him and kissing him gently on the lips. They separated then, walking to the closet to get their clothes for the day and once they'd completed getting ready were meeting at the bed to make it quickly. "I wonder if-" she started to say when they were finishing before there was a knock on the door to their suite which made them both stop.

"I don't know who that is," Castle replied, shaking his head when his wife was looking at him questioningly. He walked over to the door and looked out the peephole before he called to his wife, "It's Patrick."

Hurrying up to him; as she'd followed him; Beckett said to her friend, "You found some… Ms. Dyson," trailing off before the co-CEO entered the suite at the detective's direction.

"She came to my house," Darnley told her, closing the door behind him and locking it swiftly. "She was driving to the offices of Potomac when someone hit her last night. She thought it was a simple fender-bender but-"

"When I stepped out the other driver grabbed me," Dyson replied with a shaky voice. "I woke up in my car… near the detective's home."

"How did you know that?" Castle asked.

"Because I looked out the window and saw her coming out of her car across the street," Darnley answered. "Trevor and I hurried outside to her and brought her in. I filed a report, but she wanted to see you two as well."

"Sumner?" Beckett said to her friend.

Before the detective could respond there was a knock on the door and Castle was hurrying to answer it as Beckett ushered the co-CEO inside of the living room.

"Oh… wait, why are you two here?" Darnley asked in surprise when he saw Skye and Mary walking in. "Trev?" he asked, startled when he saw his husband behind them.

"Surprise," the investigator said with a brief smile. "I came to pick Skye up when we saw Jodie in the lobby and joined her."

"Where is she?" Sumner asked.

"This way," Darnley replied, leading the way into the living room where Dyson was sipping from a glass of water.

"Is everyone here?" Beckett asked, seeing the others coming inside.

"I think so," Darnley replied. "But it doesn't matter. Do you mind talking to us all?"

"I… no, I know you all," Dyson said, studying the McDouglases and Nkosi. "Look I saw part of the license plate of the car that hit me last night."

"Okay, what did you see?" Sumner asked as she was taking her cellphone out of her pocket.

"It's only the last two numbers though," Dyson replied. "That's all there was."

"How?" Darnley asked skeptically.

"I know that sounds crazy but it's what I saw," Dyson said firmly. "And they were four and seven, in that order."

"You don't recall whoever it was who hit you looked like do you?" Darnley asked.

Shaking her head Dyson replied, "I don't recall that much, just the numbers and then waking up on that strange street."

"Alright, we need to place you in protection," Sumner said, sharing a look with her partner before she was speaking first. "We'll take you to our station and set you up in a room for the time being."

"For how long?" Dyson asked with a frown.

"It shouldn't be that long," Darnley said though he wasn't very certain of that. He then shook himself and said to her, "And if you end up remembering anything then please let the officer who'll be guarding you know, and they'll tell us."

"I will," Dyson said before Sumner was indicating for her to stand as she was doing. "You'll find out who's doing this right?" she asked everyone as she was looking around the room.

"We have a few leads," Darnley said.

"Do you mean Mr. Loewe and Mr. Murphy?" Dyson asked them.

"Yes," Beckett said first in surprise.

"I'm not surprised," Dyson said. "They were both unhappy when they were fired I was told. I was relieved they needed to be though."

"Why is that?" Darnley asked.

"Because I heard after Loewe had some pictures of me at his desk, he forgot to take with him. The same for Murphy but the other workers weren't sure if it hadn't fallen from Loewe's desk to his somehow," Dyson said.

"They were next to each other?" Castle asked.

Nodding Dyson said, "I was told and they were friends."

"Did you really have many chances to talk to the two?" Skye asked.

Shaking her head that time Dyson told them, "Only at the office Christmas party and they were there. But I couldn't tell you what I said to them. If anything just hello and how are you doing."

"Take her," Darnley was saying to Sumner. "I would ask you to stay with her, but I need you to try and get a warrant on the cellphone records for the two men," he continued.

"Do you think we could?" Sumner asked her partner.

"We could try but I'm going to take Castle and Beckett to the car," Darnley told her.

"Good idea, but it's been towed by now," Sumner reminded him. "To the yard."

"And that's where we'll go," Darnley told her simply and with a quick nod of his head.

"Ms. Dyson?" Sumner said to the co-CEO.

While Darley was going to the two women to the door, Castle said, "What about Proulx?"

"What about him?" Beckett asked in confusion.

Castle hesitated before he said, "It depends more if there's anything between them."

"We'll tell Patrick to tell Sumner," Skye commented.

"Tell me what?" Darnley asked as he walked into the living room.

Explaining his idea, Castle said when he'd finished, "That's an assumption though and I have no idea if Proulx would call about her to check on her."

"I'll text Sumner," Darnley said quickly before he was grabbing for his phone. He sent her a text and then said, "She responded she'll ask when they're at the station. What about you two?"

"I have nothing," Mary said. "Should I go along with you?" she said to her wife.

"I wish," Skye said, shaking her head. "We have to head back to Dulles."

"How will your investigation go?" Castle asked her.

"At this point we're likely just going to be gathering evidence for the case," Nkosi said.

"That reminds me, what about the car nearly hitting you?" Castle asked.

"That Moreno will look into," Darnley replied. "Though I'm surprised you all went with my idea that it was both men."

"It makes sense," Beckett replied. "But it's not for sure; once you can talk with them then we'll see how it works out."

"Would Mary be able to join you?" Skye asked as they were standing up.

"I… don't… think so," Darnley said slowly.

"Yeah, I know," Mary said, giving her wife a look.

"Sorry, I just didn't want you here on your own," Skye told her wife.

"I'll be fine," Mary said with a smile, shaking her head. They were walking together to the door out and she said, "Good luck."

"We'll call if we can get anything that would let Potomac fly again," Darnley told his husband.

As the two men were hugging each other, Castle went to his wife and murmured, "Should I even go?"

"And leave you here on your own?" Beckett asked with a smile. "Yes you're going." She then looked him over teasingly before asking, "Are you tired."

"No, just wondering what I can do looking at the car," Castle said.

"We'll look at it together," Darnley said, turning to them. "They left."

"Okay, we're ready," Beckett said, going to get her wallet and phone. "What do you want us to do?"

"I… why are you confused?" Darnley said in surprise.

"I'm just wondering, are we good to search the car as if we were with the PD?" Beckett asked.

"Yes, my boss knows, the Captain; her boss; knows," Darnley said. "They don't know about Mary so that's why she's not coming along."

"Would you have taken her if they did?" Castle asked with a frown.

Shaking his head Darnley said, "I have nothing against her investigating abilities; you know Skye talks to her about her investigations; but I don't want any defense lawyers taking that and doing something weird with it at trial."

"I don't blame you," Beckett said, not surprised when her husband was looking at her. "But shouldn't we get going?"

"Are they still going to have the final battle run today?" Castle asked as they were in the hallway and walking to the elevators.

"At ten forty-one," Darnley replied as he pressed the down button. "That's the time it happened; luckily the field didn't get washed out."

"I would say it's weird that they're still going through with this but they're not near where McRae was killed are they?" Castle said.

Shaking his head Darnley explained, "They'll be in the southwest portion."

"So still in DC?" Beckett asked.

"DC and Virginia, but mostly DC," Darnley replied. They were stepping into the elevator and he said, "Did either of you look up the battle?" when his friend's husband raised his hand he nodded and said, "I figured. But the times?"

"I used Wikipedia… I was in a hurry," Castle commented.

"I saw the information too," Beckett said as Darnley turned to her. She had to wait to continue as she'd wanted to do as they'd reached the lobby and they were going to Darnley's car. She then commented, "It was right, it was a Union victory?"

"Minor," the detective replied, nodding his head.

"But it was good after the defeats the Union was suffering at the beginning," Castle said.

"Good point," Darnley said. He was driving by then and they were going out of the city, heading into the outskirts of Somerset, Maryland. "We're here," he said when they reached the yard. "We share this with a lot of other police departments," he was explaining to the two as they were stepping out of the car. "But the car will be marked, and I know what it looks like already."

"How much damage was there?" Castle asked.

Shaking his head Darnley told them both, "I'd like to wait for you to see the car itself, get your opinion on it. Also I didn't get the chance to look at it that much since I had to check on Dyson."

"That's fine," Beckett replied. She was looking at the cars they were passing before they stopped at one and she said, "You said she thought it was a fender-bender?"

"I did," Darnley said, watching as they were going to the back of the luxury car.

"And she was the car in front?" Castle asked.

"She was," Darnley said.

"This barely scratched her," Beckett said, shaking her head. "Well… I take that back, it barely damaged her."

"Did CSU look at this?" Castle asked, looking up from the bumper.

"They did, while I was talking with Dyson in the ambulance since I had them check her," Darnley said. "They were still there when I went to the hospital after her for a further checkup."

"Was she sexually assaulted?" Beckett asked.

"I'm not surprised you noticed," Darnley replied. "She wasn't, they did check that. She was relatively uninjured, but her heels were scraped up, as if they dragged her hard along the shoulder of the highway she was on."

"Hard?" Castle asked.

"Yeah," Darnley said, watching the writer as he was going around. He was about to ask if that meant anything when Castle was talking a second before he could.

"What was the point?" he asked. "Was the company called and did they demand money?" Castle then said as he saw the way his wife and Darnley were looking at her.

"When would they?" Beckett replied. She then turned to her friend and asked, "Does she have any family?"

"Not that I know of," Darnley said. "I'm assuming there's something going on with this kidnapping though."

"I wouldn't be so sure," Beckett said. "Though since she wasn't killed and literally turned up on your doorstep I can see why you thought that."

"Let's start looking through the inside," Darnley told them as he handed them gloves. "And then we can speculate a little more since it seems to be all with have without those two guys."

As she went to the driver's seat, at her friend's insistence, Beckett said, "Are we taking the car apart?"

"We could if we wanted to," Darnley replied. "I told you that CSU has already looked through here."

"How would we do that?" Castle asked from the back seat behind the driver's seat. His eyes widened momentarily when Darnley was pulling a screwdriver from his pocket and he asked, "Where did you have that?"

"In the car, I've done this in another case," Darnley replied.

"Did you find anything?" Castle asked, watching his wife and the detective getting the door loosened up.

"I did, two bricks of cocaine," Darnley said. "And the motive for why the guy in the car had been shot."

"Lucky you," Beckett said before the door was coming off. Castle was helping them and once they had it off, she saw there was nothing underneath the panel. "Well… there's the rest of the car," she said as her husband and friend were setting down the panel. She turned her attention to the seat before she was looking around until she paused as her husband was walking by behind her.

"What is it?" Castle asked when he saw her.

"I don't know," Beckett said, going around to the backseat and reaching for the paper that she'd seen under the driver's seat that hadn't been there when they'd taken out the panel. It was further back than she thought, and she just barely managed to reach it before pulling it out. "Patrick," she called to her friend as he was across from them.

"Open it, it might not be anything," Darnley said absently while he was looking underneath the passenger seat.

"I think it is," Castle said slowly as he was looking over Beckett's shoulder.

Looking up at the pair, Darnley hurried around the car before he took the paper from her, seeing that it was a list of names. "Okay… so it is about the VP position," he breathed. "But not what we thought." He looked up at them and said, "Let's go."

"Lucky them," Nkosi was saying to Skye.

"We won't be here that much longer I think," the investigator said as the other members of the go team were leaving.

"Are you sure? We may suspect Loewe but what about hearing for sure from Patrick?" Nkosi asked her.

Skye opened her mouth to reply when she paused as they saw a familiar car driving up to them. "He took an SUV?" she asked her friend.

Shaking his head, Nkosi said, "He took the car in. He must have gotten an SUV for some reason," while they were walking out of the hangar towards the black car where the other three were getting out with Mary.

"Grá?" Skye asked, pausing when she saw her wife was among the group.

"I know, but Patrick said he'll explain," Mary replied, hurrying to her so she could hug her.

"We need to talk in the office," Darnley told them. When his husband and Skye nodded, he walked quickly there and once they were inside, he said, "We have an idea of what's going on."

"An idea?" Skye asked as Darnley was setting down a folder.

"Yes," the detective replied, nodding to Beckett.

"These are our killers," she said while her friend was putting out four pictures. "Well, one is our killer and the other three are involved."

"Carman?" Nkosi said in shock.

"Definitely," Castle said. "We spoke to an ex-boyfriend of hers and he said that she had something bad for Proulx."

"But Dyson…" Skye started to say.

"Dyson was going to be raped last night," Beckett said. "That was the plan, but Carman and Mrs. Allard decided they couldn't allow it to happen; luckily for her."

"She remembered seeing the four of them, just as we were leaving her car in the yard," Darnley said, the four photos of the two women and Loewe and Murphy.

"Are they all together?" Nkosi asked.

"These two are," Darnley said, sliding the pictures of Loewe and Carman together. "And these two," he finished, putting Mrs. Allard's picture next to Murphy's. "Apparently the affair with Allard were some threesomes Loewe wanted. She lied to both Allard and us about them having any kind of relationship; she had to groom Allard for the threesomes first before they started on that."

"Then the motive for all of this is sex?" Skye asked in confusion.

"Loewe and Murphy are dead," Darnley said grimly. "Carman and Mrs. Allard murdered them where they took Dyson last night. Murphy was just barely living, he called 911 and he gave his confession about the kidnapping before he gasped out one word; Corbin."

"Why?" Skye asked, standing up. "They didn't have sex with Dyson, they didn't ask for money… what else is… Proulx?" she said in sudden realization.

"I think so, since the sex motive seems to keep coming up," Darnley said. He was about to speak when Mary was first, asking them all about the co-CEO he had already been considering.

"Why would the women be in on the idea to rape Dyson?" the doctor said.

"They obviously weren't," Darnley said, looking at Castle and Beckett.

"I didn't think so either," she said first. "But what exactly is it if they didn't demand money from anyone related to the company at least?"

"We'll find out," Darnley said.

"How're you going to ask the two?" Skye said. "You don't know where they are do you?"

"We do," Darnley said, taking out a photo of the paper they'd found in the car. He explained that to his husband and the McDouglas women before saying, "Obviously they're narrowing in on Proulx… and Dyson too it looks like," as the paper had been a list of the four men who had been trying for Potomac VP; including the one who'd gotten the position. The names of the three people from the company that had talked to them at the field were there and McRae's name had been crossed out. "We have PD there already," he continued with. "And Sumner's there of course."

"You can tell Proulx was added last," Castle commented as he nodded to the list. He'd noticed Dyson's name at the top as soon as his wife had unfolded the paper since it had a box drawn around it several times though it had a new x drawn over it as well. Proulx's name, in fresher ink, was in the same state and he was saying to the others, "We were thinking that maybe the two women heard about Proulx and Dyson… she's still at the station?"

"She is, I'm guessing their focus has gone to him," Darnley replied.

"Are you waiting for me to respond to your theory?" Skye asked in slight amusement as the others turned to her.

"Psychologically," Beckett said. "We were looking at you too," she then said to Mary.

"It seems like that's a plausible theory," Skye said, glancing at her wife.

Nodding Mary said, "It is, for Proulx. Where I'm lost is Dyson, if they were targeting her and they had her last night to this morning, why not kill her along with the two men?"

"That is where the idea for money comes in," Castle said.

"So Loewe and Murphy saw the opportunity for their threesome and realizing their obsession with her…" Skye began.

"But Carman and Mrs. Allard don't want it to go into a rape and kill their partners," Castle said.

"They could have been jealous as well," Beckett pointed out. "And couldn't contact anyone… you'll have to ask the members of the board and the current VP."

"Once we have the two," Darnley replied.

"So they let Dyson go before she wakes up and sees the two of them…" Skye said.

"We fingerprinted the paper, and they were in the system already via DMV records which confirmed what Murphy said before he died," Darnley answered.

Nodding Skye then said, "I was wondering how you did that if he confessed to the kidnapping; could've been a murder-suicide for them."

"We're-" Beckett started to say to let them know their plan to head to the field when her friend's phone was ringing.

"Sumner, you got them," Darnley said in answer.

"No," the detective replied. "We need some people undercover; we can't find them. Can you make it out here?"

"We're on our way," Darnley said seeing the others nodding in response.

As they were leaving the office to get to the detective's SUV, Castle was jogging after his wife and murmured, "Undercover?"
