Chapter 1: Go To Camp Half-Blood Child

Ash's pov

I listened to my father talk to his new family about it. They didn't want me around anymore, because monsters keep attacking me and destroying the house. Father is always on my side . . . well he was till today. "Maybe you are right, but how do I tell her she isn't welcome here anymore?" came my father's voice. My heart is breathing just by hearing my birth father saying he don't want me there anymore. It's not my fault that the monsters come to kill me. My child you need to go to Camp Half-Blood. You will be welcomed and loved there. Came that same voice I been hearing for the last 340 years.

The voice kept saying the same thing, but each time I didn't listen because I didn't want to leave my loving father. But today I packed a bag and left the house. I had no clue where I was going but I jumped on my bike and it roared to life. I took off and the voice spoke once more. Head to New York child then follow the magic that you try to hid. Be safe my child. That was the last time I heard the voice.

So I headed to New York and it will take me a few days, the only time I stopped was to gas up. Being a half vampire I do sleep but when I need to I don't need to sleep. I hid my magic powers from my family, they are scared of me as it is. The only time I ever use it is in combat. Tears ran down my fast as I speed out of Forks. I didn't care how fast I was going, using my magic I can hid my self, so no one will see me speeding.

For the next few day's monsters didn't follower me or even bothered me. I did noticed when I in a bad mood they stay away from me. I really don't get why thy stay away from me when I'm like this.

As I road threw New York the is was done and it was raining. I didn't know what she meant by following the magic till I started to get chased by monsters. I could feel something pulling me out of town and down this dark lonely road. I could feel magic as I pasted some trees. Up the hill child and pass the pine tree, then you will be safe. Came her voice again.

I turned left and floored it up the hill. I could hear voice's shouting and then I saw some that came over the hill. "Every one scatter!" I heard a male voice yell. I watched as they moved to the side as I came flying over edge of the hill, not know what was on the other side. I felt the barrier as I past threw it. I went flying down the hill but being part vampire make's this look like something from a movie. I slide down the hill with my bike turned to the side.

The people that was around me had torches and weapons out. "Why is Lady Hecate here for?" I heard some voice. "Why would she come on a bike and why would monsters be chasing her?" came a different voice. It was dark so they must not be able to see me right. I don't know who this Lady Hecate is but I know its not me. "Who are you?" came a deeper male voice. I turned my head to see a man but he had the body of a horse.

"Your a centaur." I said in disbelieve. "Yes I am." he said as he moved closer. "Who are you child?" he asked again. "My name is Ash." I said as I could feel the others closing in on me and I didn't like that. "Ash. How did you come to find this place?" he asked as his hand was resting on his own weapon. "A voice has been tell me to come to camp Half-Blood." I said softly wanted to run. I saw some woods close by.

"A voice you say? Do you know who the voice is?" he asked as he watched me. "No but is a female voice. It sounded like a mothers voice." I said as I started to get a little scared. "I see. You said the voice has been telling you to come but you didn't come the first time?" he said to me. "I didn't want to leave my family. But then my father's new family told him they don't want me around so I left." I said and I saw his eyes soften a bit. "Do you know what you are?" he asked me.

"No." I said slowly. I didn't want to tell them what I really was. "You are a demigod Ash. Do you know about the Greek Gods?" He asked me. "Yes I do. I know about them and what demigods are." I said. It don't take me long to process what he said. I am a demigod and vampire this is going to be fun. He looked at me. "I read a lot." I said. "Welcome to camp Half-Blood Ash. Jason will you show to the guest cabin. Then tomorrow Jason will show you around and then get you a schedule." he said with a smile. Every one moved away and a cute guy walked up to me. I can see in the dark and I got a good look at him. He has cropped golden blond hair, blue eyes, and a scar above his upper lip. He is average height, with an athletic build and muscular arms. He even as a tattoo burned under his forearm, that I have to ask about later.

Jason smiled at me as I smiled back and then I followed him. "I'm Jason." Jason said as he pushed his glasses up. He looks like a nerd and I am loving it. "Its very nice to meet you Jason and I am Ash." I said with a shy smile. He smiled back at me as I followed Jason down a path. "You are going to like it here Ash." Jason said as he looked down at me. "I really hope so. I really want a home that I don't have to be ashamed of what I can do and people that really care about me." I said softly. Jason looked at me more as we walk. "I'm sorry Ash. If you ever want to talk about it I listen." Jason said and all I could do was stare at the boy.

He rubbed the back of his head. "Thank you Jason. I might take you up on that." I said as we past some weird looking cabins. "That is what friends do." Jason said and I blushed as I looked down. "Friends?" I said softly. "Yes you seem to be needing a friend. I'm more then happy to be your friend." Jason said. I stopped and so did he. "What is wrong?" Jason asked as I felt tears running down my face. "Ash there is no need to cry." Jason said softly as he lifted my head up, so he could look at me. Jason wiped away some of my tears.

"S-sorry. Its just I lost every thing and then you being my friend even though you don't know me. I just hold every thing in so I don't bother anyone." I said softly. "I'm sorry Ash, a lot of us lost a lot. That is why we have to look after each other and be there for each other." Jason said before he pulled me into a hug. I put my arms around him and he did the same. "Wow your hot." Jason said and I chuckled. "I didn't mean it like it sound." Jason said fast as we pulled away. "I know what you meant Jason. I have a high body temp. I know I'm not pretty." I said.

I have blond hair like my father, but I have mix match eyes one blue and one green. I use my magic to make them both blue like my fathers. "You are beautiful Ash. I saw most of the guy's checking you out. My girlfriend Piper had to tell some of them off." Jason said as his face went red. He has a girlfriend and that kinda bummed me out. "Thanks Jason." I said in a dead voice. Jason looked at me and opened his mouth. "Nothing to say. Lets get going if you don't mind. I haven't slept in a few days." I said. "Ok Ash." Jason said and he started to walk again.

We didn't talk the rest of the way to the guest cabin. It looked just as weird. "Sorry how it looks we call made it. This is a cabin for those who come to camp and when you get claimed you move into your parents cabin. We thought this was better the every one cramped in Hermes cabin." Jason said softly to me. "I hope I don't get claimed." I said as I walked up the black steps. I felt Jason's blue eyes on me. "Why?" Jason asked as he walked up behind me. I kept my back towards him. "I don't want my mother to be ashamed of me like my father did. I rather not know who she is." I said to him.

I placed my hand on the doorknob. "She wont do that." Jason said softly. "How do you know for sure?" I asked him. "Umm most of the Goddess care about their children." Jason said. "I know you're trying to cheer me up but its fine." I said to him. "Good night Jason. I see you in the morning." I said before I walked into the cabin. "Good night Ash." I heard Jason say before I closed the door.

The cabin felt empty and cold just like how I am feeling. "I like this cabin." I said out aloud. I walked from room to room. There are theme to different gods and there are a few the same. I came to one that felt like I was meant for the room. I could feel magic coming from this room. I opened it and there was books every where, not just any books but magic books. Tomorrow I will have to start reading them. I took off my clothes and got into the black silk sheets and fell asleep.
