Chapter 3: A fun Day out And an Attack
Jason's pov
No one knew how that thunderstorm formed out of nowhere and in the camp. After a good night sleep, I was up and ready to the day. I guess winning last night made me feel really good. I went to go wake up Ash, it will take her some time to get used to getting up early. Till then I don't mind going to wake her up. I made my way to the cabin jumping over puddles as I went down the trail. I went up the stairs and threw the door and then up the stairs to Ash's room.
I knocked on her door and nothing, yesterday Ash growled at me for knocking. Slowly I opened the door just in case she was just in her panties again. The lights are off, and I can see she is under the covers, so I turned on the light. Ash was under the covers, but I noticed she had a shirt on. So, I walked over to Ash and she has her hair was coving her face. "Ash it's time to get up." I said as I put hand on her shoulder and shook, she softly. Her hair moved out of her face and my heart fell.
Ash's face is red, her eyes are red and puffy and there are still tears running down her face. She must have been crying all night. All I could do was just stare at Ash as more tears fell from her closed eyes. I wonder why she was crying for and how long. I didn't know if I should wake her up or not. Then Ash sniffed and slowly opened her red eyes. I watched her looked up at me with dead looking eyes. Without thinking I pulled Ash up and hugged her. "What are you doing Jason?" Ash said in a cracked awful voice. Like she has been screaming all night, then again, she might have.
I felt Ash tighten her grip, but then she let go and moved away. "Did you feel like going out today?" I asked and Ash looked down. "It doesn't matter how I feel. Give me a few to change." Ash said in a low hoarse voice. "Ok, Ash I be waiting outside for you." I said as I slowly backed out of the room. Ash looked at me once more before I closed the door and went to wait outside on the pouch for Ash.
It didn't take Ash long to come out. She was in black baggy jeans and a black hoodie and her hood was up. I wanted to cheer Ash up, but I don't know what to do. I have a guess why she is sad because of her family; I wish I knew what would make her happy. I walked with Ash to breakfast and I watched her head to her table to sit alone. I looked over at Piper and she was talking to one of her sisters. Lately me and Piper might look like a happy couple, but she doesn't really think this is real since her mother kinda pushed us together.
I do like Piper, but I feel the same as her. We are trying to see if we really love each other. I shook my head before I walked over to Ash and sat in front of her. Ash looked up at me when I sat down. I can barely see her face, but I saw the confused look on her face. "I thought you might want someone to sit with you." I said and she nodded her head. "Ash if you ever need to talk, I'm here for you." I said softly to her. "Thanks." Ash said more of a whisper because of her throat.
Ash didn't eat and I noticed she hasn't eaten much since she's been here. "Ash I know you are going through a lot, but you really need to eat." I said with worry. Ash looked at me before she started to nibble on a strawberry. At least something for now, I need to get her to eat more. I put some food on my plate and got up, Ash did the same, but she only put enough food on her plate to put in the fire. I let Ash go first and I followed her, once back at the table she took another berry and started to nibble on it.
I know it's not the time and I really shouldn't be thinking like this. Since I have a girlfriend, I shouldn't think another girl nibbling on a berry looking so cute. I could tell she really didn't want to do anything, but she is doing this to try and look ok. I think I'm going to take Ash out to the movies and take her to the arcade and then dinner. I need to talk to Chiron about taking Ash out.
It is a risk, but I think we should be fine. "I be right back Ash." I said before I got up and went to go fine Chiron. I found him and we talked he seemed ok with me taking her out and try to cheer her up. When I got back Ash was eating another berry when I sat back down. "I have a surprise for you Ash." I said with a smile. Ash looked up at me and turned her head to the side. "When we are done eating, I want to take you somewhere." I said with another smile. Ash nodded her head.
"Oh, I have something for your throat." I said as I pulled out a square of ambrosia and broke a small piece off. I gave it to Ash who took it sniffed it before she ate it. I saw her blue eyes light up a little when she ate it. "That taste really good." Ash said and her voice was healed. "That is ambrosia the food of the gods. We can have a little bit of it to help us heal, but if we have to much of it, we will burn from the inside out. Mortals can't eat it because it will kill them. We also have a drink called nectar, the drink of the gods. Same as ambrosia we can have a little to heal and we can put it on wounds to help them heal. Just got to put little on." I said as Ash listened to me.
"That sounds so amazing." Ash said as she took another berry. "It is just got to make sure not to use to much or you die." I chuckled a little and Ash giggled a little. "I'm done eating whenever you are done." Ash said as she finished off her last berry she was eating. I had a little bit of food left. Ash watched me as I finished off the last of my food. Then we got up and I took her to my car. I opened the door for Ash, and she smiled softly at me before she got in. I went to the driver side and got in.
Ash took off her hood as I started up the car. I took off and out of habit I turned on the radio. I looked over at Ash. "I hope you don't mind me turning on the radio." I said softly. "I don't mind Jason. I like this song." Ash said with a smile. Her eyes started to turn back to normal and I couldn't help but to smile as Ash started to sing along to every song that played. Ash is different from Piper and any other girl I've meant.
She likes the same music and if I have to guess Ash dresses how she feels. I drove down road that will take us to the city. It will take us a while to get to where we are going. "Ash you are doing ok?" I asked softly. Ash looked at me before she looked out of the window. "I will be ok." Ash said in a low voice. I moved my hand over to hold Ash's hand. Ash turned her head back and looked down. "Sorry, but we will get thought this together." I said still holding her hand. When I hold Pipers hand it didn't feel like it fit in mine. Ash on the other hand, her hand felt right, and it fit in mine.
"Thank you, Jason." Ash said softly as she looked down at our hands. I know I should pull away, but before I could make up my mind, Ash closed her fingers around my hand. A smile crossed my lips when she did this. I drove on and traffic in the city is the worst but having Ash with me it didn't feel long. "Ash?" I said softly. "Hmm?" Ash said as she turned to look at me. Her beautiful blue eyes looked at me and I smiled before I spoke. "You like going to the movies?" I asked softly.
Ash blushed a little before she spoke. "I only been a few times. Its not fun going alone." Ash said in a low voice. My heart fell a little, most of use don't make it to our adult years. Still its sad that Ash had to do things by herself. I will make sure she will never do anything alone anymore.
"What kind of movie are we going to watch?" Ash asked me as she pulled up her legs as she looked at me with a small smile. She looked so cute sitting next to me holding my hand and looking at me. "Whatever you want to watch Ash." I said as my phone buzzed. I looked down and saw it was a text from Piper. I will take a look at it at the next light since the lights take about ten minutes to get through.
I had to let go of Ash's hand to look at my phone. As I read the text my heart felt like it was ripped out. "What's wrong Jason?" Ash said cutting through my thoughts. "Piper just broke up with me through a text." I said in a somber voice. I put my phone back up not bothering to reply to her. Ash put her warm hand into mine and she gave me a small sad smile. "I'm so sorry Jason, she should have done it face to face." Ash said softly. "Yeah, I had a feeling she wanted to break up. Just didn't think she would have done it through a text." I said in a low voice.
Stopping at another light I let out a somber breath. I felt Ash move and as I turned my head to look at her. She kissed my cheek softly before she put her forehead against my own. "She is a fool for letting you go. If I could have a boyfriend like you, I wouldn't let him go." Ash said in a breathless voice. I felt my face flush a little when her sweet breath hit my own lips. I know I should be heart broken, but hearing Ash saying those words. I took my hand out of Ash's hand and moved it to the back of Ash's head. I pressed my lips against Ash's own lips.
When our lips meant I felt a spark of electricity run through me. I like how this feel when I kissed Ash. I saw Ash's eyes one of them turned green then back to blue before she closed her eyes as we kissed. After the honk from behind me we pulled away and I droved on. Ash put her hand back into mine. "I wasn't trying to take advantage of you." Ash said softly. "I know Ash. I wanted to kiss you. You feel right if that makes since. Piper and I was forced into a relationship and we tried to see if it would work out. She even told me that she wasn't sure about her feelings. I felt the same thing, but I still cared about her." I said softly.
Ash pulled my hand up and kissed the back of it. I turned to look at her as I stopped at another red light. "I know we just meant Jason, but I feel something between us. If you don't feel the same, I will understand." Ash said softly to me. I pulled her hand over to my lips and kissed her hand back. "No, I feel the same and I know its weird to feel this. Right after Piper breaking up with me, I felt sad but with you I don't feel sad. You make be feel better." I said softly. "If you want, we can take it slow and see if you want me as much as I want you." Ash said and I felt something inside of me feel something I never felt before.
Ash wanted me and we just meant the day before. I leaned over and kissed Ash again and I felt that same spark. "I think you are the one I'm meant to be with. I feel this spark when we kiss." I said to Ash. Ash blushed and smiled before she kissed me again. "I think the same Jason. When you showed me to the cabin, I wanted you, but when you told me you had a girlfriend. It hurt when you told me that. Then with my father nothing caring if I'm ok or not hurt too." Ash said softly. "You don't have to worry about them anymore Ash. I will take care of you from now on." I said and Ash blushed a little.
Ash's pov
I didn't think me, and Jason would have a chance in hell to date. I didn't really feel to bad about Piper breaking up with Jason. I'm going to show him how a real woman treats a good man. We talked and kissed till we got to the place we are going. When Jason pulled into the parking garage, I could feel the magic. "What's with that smile?" Jason asked as we got out of his car. "Can you feel the magic running through this place?" I said as I turned around looking at this garage.
"No, I can't but Lady Hecate made this place for use and the gods. Mostly for us but the gods like to come here and have fun too. This is one of the way we can see our parents without getting into trouble." Jason said and I didn't ask him what he meant. I walked up to him and kissed his lips before I put my hand back into his nice warm one. He took me inside and it was like a freaken mall mixed with an amusement park. I wanted to run around and look at everything, but I followed Jason to the movies. The place had others walking around and they their scent they are gods I'm guessing.
I felt something powerful coming up towards up. The first thing that came to mind was to get between whatever it was and Jason. "Oh, hello father." Jason said as he bowed to the powerful man standing in front of us. I bowed along with Jason. "What are you doing here?" his father said. "On a date with my new girlfriend." Jason said and I blushed when he call him his girlfriend. Jason's father looked down at me and I looked up at him and smiled. "I can see where Jason get's his sexy looks from." I said making the two of them blush hard. "Ash." Jason said as he looked at me. "What its true." I said and his father smiled, and you can tell this man hardly smiles.
"I like her Jason. You better keep her close if not I might take her." His father said before he left us. "I need to keep an eye on you know." Jason said with a wink. "Don't worry Jason. I'm a one man at a time kind of girl. I hate cheating on someone that I love. If its not working out I will tell you. But you are the one for me." I said before I kissed his lips once more
We picked out a scary movie to watch, Jason got me a large blue raspberry slushy and we are sharing a large popcorn. When the scary parts happened, I would bury my face into Jason's arms. Then he lifted the arm rest so we can snuggle a little better. When I screamed the first time Jason jumped and yelled a little. I turned to look at him and his face was beet red as he looked at me. "Sorry about that babe." I said softly so I wouldn't disturb the others. Jason pulled me closer before he kissed me softly. "Its ok baby, just wait I give you something to really scream about later." Jason said and I blushed softly.
"I so can't wait." I said as I can smell Jason's arousal. "Really you don't mind me talking about stuff like this?" Jason said and I saw his blue eyes go wide for a second before he smiled. "Yes, I really don't mind Jason. We are at that age when we have needs." I said as I nuzzled him as the movie played on. Jason smirked before he kissed me again but this time his tongue asked to enter, and I opened my mouth. Jason's tongue played with my own as we made out. One of Jason's hands went to my chest and I let out a soft moan into our kiss.
Jason pulled away and the both of us was breathing a little hard. "Your chest is amazing Ash." Jason said before he started to kiss my neck and then nibbling on my ear. I moaned softly again biting my lower lips, so I wouldn't get louder. "Really?" I whispered into his ear as I rubbed Jason's thigh and I felt his rod move at my touch. Jason moaned softly into my ear as I rubbed a little higher. "Yes, I've seen different sizes, but yours look and feel amazing." Jason whispered back as sucked on my neck now.
The movie ended and we headed out of the theater. Jason held my hand as we walked past shops. I pulled Jason into shops that I wanted to take a look at. Then we came to an arcade and we went in to play. I saw a cute plush that I wanted. "You want that gold Pegasus?" Jason breathed into my ear as he put his arms around me and his chin on my shoulder. "Yes, yes I do. It reminds me of you." I said as I leaned back into Jason's body. I love how Jason's body heat feels against my back. "Then let's go and play games and put our tickets together to get it." Jason said as he pulled me with him.
Jason had a card to play any game. "I won a bet and got this card for the arcade. It's like money and it never runs out, so we can play as long as you want my love." Jason said as he took me to his favorite game.
After a few hours of playing we had more then enough tickets to get my prize and Jason got a small witch plushy to finish off the tickets. "I love this plushy, thank you so much for helping me get it Jason." I said before I kissed his check. "Your welcome Ash, I'm glade you love your plushy." Jason said before he kissed the top of my head.
We walked out of the arcade and the sun started to set. "How about we get something to eat before he head back to camp?" Jason asked me. I smiled up at him and nodded my head. "What do you feel like?" Jason asked me. "How about a burger and fries?" I said and his blue eyes dance with joy. "Sounds good to me." Jason said as he took me to his favorite burger place.
Jason ordered first and I got the same. We sat down and waited for our food. "When we get back to camp would you like to come to my room and watch more movies?" I asked Jason softly as I took a sip of my soda. "Yes, that would be great." Jason said with a bright smile. I smiled back. "I just love your smile Jason." I said and he blushed softly. "You do?" Jason said as he look at me. "Yes, I really do. Your smile make's me want to smile too." I said as I put my hand over his.
His fingers laced through mine as he held hands. "You know that Piper never looked at me the way you look at me." Jason said softly as he kissed my hand. "You are the only one that I want Jason. You are mine and you make me so happy." I said and Jason had a tear roll down his check. "I never thought anyone would tell me that. Ash as long as I live, I want to be with you." Jason said softly. I reach over and kissed the tear away. "Your mine forever Jason. No one else is going to hurt you. I'm going to make you happy like no one has ever done before. I know you been through hell and back. I want to show you what love can really be." I said softly as I put his hand against my cheek.
"I know it's a little too soon, but I don't care. I love you Ash." Jason said to me. I could feel that he really means what he said. "I love you too Jason." I said and I could feel something. Jason looked behind me and turned a little pale. I turned around to see a goddess walking over to use. "Jason why aren't you with Piper?" she said in a cold voice as she looked down at me with hatred. Jason looked at me kind of scared. "She broke his heart through a text message. So, I decided to make this man happy because he deserves to be happy and loved." I said not liking this goddess being a bitch to Jason.
"Ash this is Pipers mother goddess Aphrodite." Jason said looked at him with worry. "I see. Still I don't like the look she is giving me." I said as I let some of my power out and she looked at me a little scared. Jason looked at me then back at Aphrodite. "You better not cross me." Aphrodite said and I laughed. The two of them looked at me before I let go of Jason's and stood up. "I'm not scared of you. You are just a spoiled goddess that thinks you can get what you want. Just know this if anything is to happen to Jason or our relationship. I will be coming after you first, then they are going to need a new goddess of love." I said in a dark voice. All the other gods and Jason's father was watching us.
Before Aphrodite could say anything this gorgeous goddess in black leather walked up beside me. "Aphrodite I would listen to this demigod. She speaks the truth and if you want to live you better take heed." The goddess said with a smile as she took out a sweet looking knife and cleaned her nails with. "Fine Hecate." Aphrodite growled before she left us. Hecate turned to look at me and I smiled at her before I bowed to her. "Thank you, my lady. I really didn't want to start a fight on my date." I said as I stood up.
"Your welcome my child. I just build this place a few months ago and I really don't want it destroyed so soon." Hecate said as she saw me eyeing her knife. "You like?" she said, and I nodded my head. "Yes, its so beautiful and the blade looks finally made and the craftmanship on the handle is exquisite." I said and she put it back in its sheath and took it off. "Here you can have it. You seem like you will take care of it well." Hecate said and I took it. I could feel the power that was coming off it and the magic. "My lady I thank you. This will be come one of my Precious possessions that I will take care of for the rest of my life." I said and Hecate patted my head.
"You better take care of her Jason, if you break her heart, I break you." Hecate said before she vanished in a cloud of black smoke. I sat back down as our food came out and I looked at Jason. "Sorry about that." I said softly as I strapped the knife onto my thigh. "No, it's ok. I never seen her that pissed off before, or anyone standing up against her. I'm surprised that Hecate stood up for you." Jason said before he took a bit of his burger. I munch on my fries first. "There are things out there worser things out there then a pissed off god. I'm not all that scared of things." I said softly afraid that Jason will be scared of me.
"Really?" Jason said with shock. "Yes, but don't worry I will make sure nothing will hurt you." I said as I took a bite out of my burger. "We will take care of each other; we are a team too." Jason said with a smile. I smiled back before I spoke. "You're not scared of me?" I said softly as I looked down at my plate. "No, you would never hurt me, I can feel that much. I will be by your side as long as you want me." Jason said and I looked up at him. "You are the best Jason. I can't wait to get to know you more ." I said as we looked at each other.
We were driving back to camp, and I got that feeling. "What's wrong Ash?" Jason said with worry. "We need to get back to camp as soon as we can. I got a feeling something bad is going to happen." I said and Jason nodded. "I'm going to jump the car to out of town, so we can drive faster." I said as I put my hands on the dashboard as I pictured the road we need to be on. I mutter a spell as we teleport to the road. "Babe you are amazing." Jason said as he started to speed down the road.
The window was down, and I could smell monsters. "There are monsters up ahead, I think they are at the hill to the camp." I growled as I looked ahead. With my vampire eyes I can see further ahead then normal people. "What are we going to do Ash?" Jason asked with worry in his voice. I pulled out the knife that goddess Hecate gave me, I could feel the magic running through the knife. It was just like my battle axe that was back at my fathers house. This was just smaller, and I can still use it.
"I'm going to get on top of the car, you are going to drive then slam on breaks as you do a U turn and get back into the camp. Keep everyone in the camp till I'm done with them." I said as I took off my seatbelt. Jason looked at me with worry. I leaned over and kissed his lips. "Don't worry Jason, I will be fine. I had to fight out a few armies of monsters growing up by myself. As long as no one is there to get in my way, I can go all out without hurting anyone else. Beside with this knife I can control my magic a little better, I just wish I had my other weapon. I need to talk to mister D and see if I can head home to get it." I said before I gave him one more kissed.
"You better come back to me Ash." Jason said before I went out the window. "Don't worry Jason I will." I said to myself as I crouched on top of Jason's car. The monsters came into view and Jason started to speed and I licked my lips. I might not have said it out loud, but I do love the fights I have with the monsters. Jason hit the breaks and I went flying through the air. I did have time to see him turn and saw him looking at me. I gave him a smile before I came down and made a line of black flames come out and it turned the monsters in front of the flame turned to gold dust.
The other monsters turned to look at me. Most of them was making their way up the hill turned to look at me. I popped my neck as I smirked at them. "This is going to be so much fun." I said before I roared scaring them. Then using my vampire seed I moved taking each life as I passed them.
Jason's pov
I was so worry as I got back to camp, and the others was about to head up the hill to fight. I found Percy just in time. "Percy wait!" I yelled as I made my way to my friend. "Why?" Percy said as he turned to look at me. "Ash said she will take care of them, just as long we say in the barrier. She don't want anyone to get hurt and she can go all out without worrying about hurting others." I said breathless. I ran all the way here after I got back into the barrier. "Can we watch to make sure she is fine?" Percy asked and I can tell he is worried. "I think that should be fine." I said as we all slowly made our way up the hill.
Bracing myself as we came over the top of the hill. Looking down the hill all you can see are clouds of gold dust. You couldn't really see anything because of all of the gold dust. Then I saw something moving towards us. I could hear some of them drawing their swords. "Is that Ash?" Percy said as he squinted his eyes. I looked to but I saw that Ash's clothes was cut opened. I started to panic a little thinking she was hurt. Ash looked at us as she jogged over through the barrier. "See, I can take care of myself." Ash said with a sly smile. All I could do was look down at her torn clothes. I didn't see any blood or cuts.
"Don't worry about it." Ash said softly as she looked up at me. Without thinking I pulled Ash into my body to hug her. I felt her arms go around me and rubbed her face into my chest. I could feel all of their eyes on us. Now that I think about it, I don't know if anyone knows tha Piper broke up with me. When we pulled away Ash looked up at me before she shook off some of the dust that was still on her. Then I could hear whispers of others talking about us.
"I broke up with him earlier today." Piper said before I saw her turn around and walk away. Everyone looked at her then at us. "So, Piper broke up with you earlier today and now you are with Ash?" Percy said as he looked at us. Ash spoke first. "Pipers lose my gain." Ash said softly and I put my hand into hers. "Yes." I said with a smile. "As long as everyone is happy then I'm happy for you two." Percy said. "Thanks man." I said as I held out my fist and Percy bumped his fist against mine.
Everyone started to head back to wherever they were doing before the monsters came. "So, you are still up for a movie?" Ash asked softly as she looked up at me. "Yes babe." I said as we made our way to her cabin. I kissed Ash when we got to her room before we picked out a movie and turned off the lights. Ash laid next to me as we watched the movie, my arm is around Ash as her head rested on my chest.
Ash moved a little and I was so into the movie I didn't see what Ash was about to do. Then I felt her wet tongue lick my neck making me jump and moan a little. "What are you doing?" I asked her. Ash smirked a little at me. "I thought you where going to make me scream?" Ash said in a low husky voice. I blushed before I smirked. "Let me through up a barrier so no one can hear us." Ash said and I felt a barrier go around us. Ash moved to sit on my lap as she looked deep into my eyes before we kissed softly before I start to make her scream.
