(1st POV. Alain[Quill])

We were led by Shining Armor to our rooms. Fortunately, we all were able to get our own rooms.

My room's door color is a dusty gleaming brown. Literally it is gleaming.

I opened the gleaming door with my hoof. I was questioning the logic with the hooves and doors.

When I walked inside the room, it had a tower of books inside a bookshelf. The bed is a cloud that is floating way too out of my reach! I don't know how to fly! Plus the bed also has a light blue blanket and a cloud filled pillow. The floor is a gleaming light gray. The rug is in the shape of a square, the color of it is blue.

I was grumbling about how to fly. I plopped my bag next to the door. I looked back at the bed.

Where is the mirror? I looked around until I spotted one near the bed and proceeded to head over.

When I look into the mirror my emerald, the left golden marking eye is covered by my bangs. I sighed in relief. But I also noticed that I have a large yet small diamond on my forehead...I was curious about it but left it be.

I went to where the bed is.

Okay...Do I just imagine myself opening my wings and flapping? Just as I did that the wings opened up and started flapping. I started to get off of the floor.

"Yes!" I quietly cheered as I flew around the room. Then I landed on the bed.

"Finally…" I mumbled as I got under the covers, curled up into a ball, then slept. I realized that I still have my sweater on...Eh, I mentally shrugged.

-[Canterlot Towers--Alain's Bedroom--Midnight]-

I heard the door squeaking, I opened an eye. I saw a pony figure, I can't see the figure clearly but from the looks of it the figure has a horn and wings.

Oh great somepony is going to interrogate me. The figure walked in some more unaware that I was awake. I cracked a wide grin. I let myself dissolve into the shadows of the bed, then zipped out of the bed, onto the floor then in a shadowy corner.

I got a closer look at the figure.

She has light pink fur with curled striped mane, the stripes color are light slightly dirty yellow, dark yet light pink, and purple. The mane had some fading white to it. She is wearing golden shoes and a necklace along with a small tiara with a purple gem in the middle. Her purple eyes glow in the dark. Her Cutie Mark is a blue crystallized heart with two curved golden leaves.

Alright I'll be honest here, she looked like she came out of a crystal cupcake. That's just my opinion.

The pony seems to be looking for something, or somepony...Oh dear. Why me!? What did I do!? Maybe I should sneak out of here, or I could just tackle her and interrogate her instead...Nah I'll just sneak out of here.

I quickly snuck out of the room and dove off of the tower. Ya ummm, a lot of my friends still think that I'm crazy...I probably am. I opened up my wings and flew. I know where Twilight sleeps at. So I flew to her tower.

I landed right in front of her door and knocked. I heard the door slowly opening up. Twilight looked very tired.

"Sorry to have woken you up but can I stay here for the night?" I ask as I glance behind me. Twilight noticed that I was glancing behind me back.

"Are you being chased?" Twilight asks in concern.

"Sort of, a pony with a horn and wings that has pink fur, sort of snuck into my place, and she was also looking for somepony...so I snuck out of there." I explained to Twilight.

"A princess snuck into your room?" Twilight looked very nervous. "You should come inside." Twilight ushered me inside. Okay then...WHAT!?

"Did you get on her bad side?!" Twilight was now roughly shaking me.

"I don't know I just got here!" I yelped when she let go of me. "Oh…" Twilight mumbled.

I narrowed my eyes. "I never met any of them until one of them snuck inside." I explained once again.

"Oh sorry it's just that I never heard of a Princess sneaking inside a guest bedroom before…" Twilight looked quite guilty now.

"It's alright, it's just odd to me…" I mumbled. That got Twilight in deep thought. About an hour later.

"I think we should head to bed now…" Twilight looked to see me flying next to a bookshelf. She raised an eyebrow.

"Quill?" Twilight called out to me.

"Hm?" I looked up from the book I was reading. "Oh alright then." I placed the book back and landed next to Twilight. I noticed that Spike is sleeping in a small bed.

Twilight goes to bed while I watch out the window. She fell to sleep.

I looked back to Twilight. I went back to watching the stars again.

Whoever is out there really dislikes me...But why? Did I cause an unknown problem or...Was I ruining somepony's plan?

That last thought brought shivers down my spine, I kept looking at the stars as some of them trinkle under the brilliant moonglow of the half moon.

I grumbled. "Might as well get some sleep..." I quietly mumbled. I went to a small corner and slept.

-[Canterlot Towers--Twilight's Bedroom--Morning]-

I woke up from the rough shaking of a hoof.

"We gotta go or we will be late!" Twilight fretted.

I grumbled as I got up on all fours. I went to the door and opened it up for a fretted Twilight and a sleepy Spike.

"What are we late for again?" I whispered to Spike.

"The wedding planning." Spike whispered back as he brought out a scroll and a red quill. I blinked at the logic of no bags to carry the scroll but was still able to get one...Not going to question it.

We went to the kitchen area where Applejack is at. The orange pony noticed us.

"Hey Twi? Your brother needs you for something." Applejack said while getting some ingredients.

"Oh? Alright...Where is he?" Twilight asked. Applejack pointed to one of the doors. "Oh! Thanks!" Twilight galloped to the door.

"Hey, Quill?" Applejack looked from the ingredients.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Do you know how to cook?" Applejack asked in curiosity. I nodded.

"What kind?" She asks once again. I put a hoof to my snout.

"Hmmm...Curry, Apple Curry." I replied. Applejack raised an eyebrow.

"There's an Apple Curry?" She looked very confused now. I nodded. She shuffled a bit

"Uhhh...How do you make it?" She asks as a small blush from embarrassment form on her face.

"Hm? It's quite simple so I can help you out, I can even write the recipe out for you." I offered.

"That be mighty helpful Quill!" Applejack said with a smile. I looked at Spike, it seems he brought out another scroll and quill. Spike handed them to me. I nodded in thanks.

-[20 minutes later]-

We were behind the counter working on the Apple Curry.

"Thanks for the help Quill." Applejack thanks with a nod. "Your welcome." I heard heavy hoofsteps.

"Hm?" I looked to where the noise came from. What I saw is a drooping Twilight. Spike scurried to her.

"You got it now, right Applejack?" I asked as I raised an eyebrow. She nodded.

"Good, I have a drooping Twilight to help." Applejack understood what I meant and nodded.

I galloped to where she sat gloomy at.

The room seems to be a library, a very fancy one at that. I noticed that Twilight is in the middle of the room near a jumbo size hourglass with pale brown sand.

I walked up to her and sat down. After waiting for a few minutes I broke the silence.

"Are you alright Twilight?" I ask in a kind tone.

"Not really..." Twilight mumbled.

"Is it about your brother?" I asked once again.

She shook her head rather roughly in defiance.

"No it's not my brother...it's just the one he is marrying..." Twilight explained. I hummed.

"She has light pink fur...She even has wings and a horn like the one who snuck into your room!" Twilight exclaimed. "And...She was actually my foal sitter..." The purple unicorn sank lower into the ground.

"She doesn't seem to recognize me...We even have our own hoof shake!" Twilight said in slight grief.

"Hmmm how was she like back then?" I asked. Twilight sat back up.

"She is very sweet and kind, always there for me when I was younger..." Twilight went off on how great she was.

". . ." I went into deep thought. She seems so nice back then but...why is she acting like she never knew Twilight all her life? Hmmm...What if their magic is in a different color...

"Hey Twilight?" Twilight looked at me in confusion. "What did her magic look like?" I asked.

"Her magic is in the color of light blue..." The realization struck Twilight. "Are you saying she might be a copy?" Twilight yelped in bewilderment.

"She might but for right now we should just gather some more clues before we just assume things." I added. Twilight nodded in agreement.

"Now do we have a wedding to get ready for?" I told her. Her eyes widened. "Right the wedding!" Twilight zoomed out of the library along with Spike on her back.

I gave off a small smile.
