Candace Flynn was at an appointment with her new therapist, Dr. Metro. "So, your mother tells me that you obsessed with busting your brothers."
"I am not!" Candace denied. "I'm just preoccupied with or haunted by some idea, interest, etc-"
"Yes, that's quite literally the definition of obsession." Dr. Metro interrupted. "And you've told your mother that your brothers regularly do... quite a lot." He said as he looked over a notepad.
"Yes, but every time I try to show what the boys did to mom. Something happens that makes it disappear!" Candace ranted. "Rollercoasters, robots, aquariums, circuses, you name it. They've not only done it. But somehow they always, and I mean always make it disappear before I could show it to mom."
Dr. Metro rolled his eyes. "Candace... don't you think you're being a little overdramatic?" Candace's eye then started to twitch. "I mean surely your brothers doing normal kids stuff during the summer-"
"Oh... oh Phineas and Ferb don't do 'normal kids stuff'," Candace said with a crazed look on her face. "Oh they do stuff but 'normal'? Never... well almost never. But the point is the things I try to bust them over, it ain't 'normal'." She ranted.
"Look, I understand that your brothers most likely do things that you don't approve of-"
"Oh trust me doc!" Candace interrupted. "After today you'll at least believe me."
"Excuse me?" Dr. Metro's question was quickly answered by Candace picking him up, and jumping out of a window. "WE'RE THREE STORIES UP! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!" He screamed.
Candace didn't say anything as she landed, safely with the therapist in her arms. She then ran at superhuman speeds. Looking for her brothers and their latest invention. All the while Dr. Metro was caught completely off-guard by what was going on, asking questions in between screaming for his life. Eventually, she stopped. "There you are!" She said, dropping Dr. Metro on the ground.
"Hi, Candace!" Phineas waved from above.
"Holy cow!" Dr. Metro said in shock and surprise at what he was seeing. "What. Is. That?"
"Phineas! What is this?" Candace demanded.
"It's our new anti-gravity house. This place has everything." Phineas said proudly.
"He... he built that by himself?" Dr. Metro said in surprise as Phineas listed off the house's features.
"Usually, but he and Phineas sometimes get help from Isabella, Buford, and Baljeet," Candace said.
"And... your brothers build things like this?" Dr. Metro asked.
"Yep. Once a day they build something big and crazy in the backyard, which usually extends into the rest of Danville." Candace said. "And every day I try to show mom what the boys of done, and every day their invention disappears before she can see it, and every day she thinks I'm crazy and making up or exaggerating what that boys have done! Believe it or not, this one time I thought she saw the boy's invention, but when I got home everything was fine!" Candace ranted.
"Wow... I'll be honest when I first heard about your case I was fully expecting you to be yet another whiny teenager. But this... how does this even exist?!" Dr. Metro said with surprise.
"I stopped answering that question a long time ago Doc. Suffice it to say, Phineas and Ferb can do anything they set their minds to... and it drives me NUTS!" Candace said. "They do stuff like this every day and don't get into trouble. Meanwhile, whenever I try to do something. People either ignore me, think it's weird when they do see it, or mom takes the whole situation totally out of context and busts ME!"
"Yeah... that could drive anyone up the wall." Dr. Metro said. "So... should I call your mother and explain what's going on?"
"She'd think that I put you up to it. Mom wouldn't even go into your office to check if we're still in there." Candace said.
"Okay... but why still try to bust them if you keep failing at it?" Dr. Metro asked.
"Because I know for a fact, that they CAN be busted. I know I can get them grounded for getting away with sci-fi related shenanigans." Candace then punched for emphasis. "There. Going. Down!"
Dr. Metro just took a step away from Candace. "So... any idea when this will disappear?"
"About a minute before I try to show mom. The point is I probably won't see it happen, mom will offer snacks, usually, pie, Perry the boy's pet platypus will show up, and Ferb will say something that probably has nothing to do with the situation at hand." Candace then picked up Dr. Metro and ran back to his office. "So yeah, I try to bust my brothers every day. Mom thinks I overreact to them just doing mundane stuff."
"I see... no really I've seen what has you so upset." Dr. Metro said. "Do you at least have something to be happy about despite your frustrations with your siblings?"
"Well yeah, my boyfriend Jeremy, my best friends Stacy and Jenny. My grandparents, Ducky Momo-" This went on for about an hour.
"Candace, you haven't been ranting Dr. Metro's ear off have you?" Linda asked as she barged into the office.
"No... at least not the way your most likely thinking." Dr. Metro said. "We just lost track of time."
"And you were right mom, I do feel better, having someone to talk about my problems with... who hasn't grown sick and tired of hearing about the boys," Candace said.
"Really? She didn't drive you up the wall?" Linda asked of Dr. Metro.
"No. It wasn't a bother to me at all." Dr. Metro said. "I look forward to furthers sessions with your daughter."

Roughly ten years later, a now adult Candace was getting a phone call from Phineas. "So Beatrice is just really confused about... everything." She said regarding her robotic niece.
"I knew there were risks with redacting her memories about Beauregard. But I just thought that Beatrice would just dismiss the gaps in her memory as glitches in her software... now she's on the floor sobbing like crazy!" Phineas said with worry. "I want to help her... but I don't want to treat her some kind of broken computer, this is more complicated than that."
Candace just rolled her eyes. "Phineas, Beatrice is scarred. She doesn't know what exactly she was doing when she ran away with Bethany, she doesn't remember Beauregard and whatever he did to help him."
"That's exactly what I told her when she told me to redact her memories in the first place!" Phineas said. "But she was adamant that not doing so would be devesting when she got out of her Code Epsilon override... and now she's just sobbing on the floor, unresponsive to anything we try."
Candace couldn't help but feel empathy for Beatrice, as in her teenage years she suffered from out-of-control anxiety and an inferiority complex because she felt inadequate when compared to Phineas and Ferb. She had her friends and Dr. Metro to help, that was when she got an idea. "Okay, Phineas. I have an idea but I need you to listen to me carefully. You might not have noticed, or even been told about it before. But I was in therapy-"
"Oh, I knew," Phineas said. "Ferb told me once when I was wondering where you were. I think we were building an anti-gravity house that day."
"I see," Candace said, floored by this news. "Anyway, I think what would be best for Beatrice is that you get her to see Dr. Metro. She's got the mind of a teenage girl, and she needs someone, anyone to talk to. And as it stands, that can't be you or Isabella." She sighed. "I won't push you to make an appointment... but you should consider it. I'll see you later, goodbye." She then hung up the phone. "Seriously, you made your robot daughter as a teenage girl right out of the box, and Beauregard. Woof was he a mess. What were you thinking you triangle headed goon?" She said to herself.
Eventually, Phineas and Isabella did set up an appointment for Beatrice with Candace's old psychiatrist. And as time went on her mood improved ever so slightly. Bea managed to overcome most of her emotional issues regarding her fragmented memories and inner conflict.
But that's another story altogether... and one that already exists.
