Cana looked out from the covers, her nude body shaking as the third prophetic dreams' after affects rippled through her. Demanding attention from the forefront of her minds eye. Her hands shook reaching for the half empty bottle of vodka on her night stand. Turning deaf ears to the glass shattering on the floor. As her overly full night stand of empty glass. Collided with the bottle in her shaking hands. Salt water spilled from her eyes as she brought the bottle to her lips. Downing the mind numbing substance til the last drop slid down her throat.
An aggravated scream erupted from her, whipping the now empty glass bottle through her open bedroom door. Glass shattering against glass, echoed in the empty space. While a sob escaped her, The everlasting torment she under goes is unbearable. Continously watching loved ones, strangers, everyone she's ever laid eyes on die.
Her normal stress relief ran off, tired of being awakened to screams at odd hours of the night. He couldn't be bothered anymore, no one could be bothered. Curling in on herself, Trying to win the battle of wills. Her shattered heart pounded painfully in her chest. No matter how many times she's seen her loved ones die, it never got any easier.
Her own mind constantly crumbling, all from a deck of cards. Weaved and spun from her very own soul. Inherited magic from her mother. A secret kept from loved ones. Never so much whispered of the terrors she witnesses. Keeping them locked away in a vault in her crumbling heart. Forcing them to never see the light of the day, another would be added tonight.
Her own late mother broke the taboo, releasing only one of the terrors she has witnessed. Only to die by her lovers hand, the one she tried to save. So never will a lone whisper of this dream escape. The future is full of lines. Constantly changing and unchanging. Meeting or not meeting one person can change her families fate. She shall forever be forced to suffer in this darkness alone.
"I need more booze." she whispered, her body twitched slightly, looking outwards past the crack in her pitch black curtains. A sliver of light showing the darkened night sky. Beginning to show tones of light blue. Signaling the night was almost over. Finally.
