Chapter 2: Good Deeds Go Far

Hoodie's pov

Its been a two weeks since I became a Black Bull. I'm off for the next three day's so I asked Finral if he could take me to the city. He was more then happy to take me, because it gives him the chance to go and flirt with the women in the city. Finral didn't ask me why I wanted to go to the city. Stepping threw the portal Finral told me to meet him back here an hour before sun set. "Ok I see you later." I said as I headed into the city.

When I have time I like to come to the city to help out the people that live here. "Hey Molly." I said as I headed to Molly's stop. Molly has five children and her husband die a year ago, she been having trouble running the shop and taking care of the children. "Oh Hoodie good timing. Please tell me you are off to day?" Molly asked with tears in her eyes. "Yes, I am off and came to help you." I said as I took the youngest from Molly. "You are an angle." Molly said as I took the other four children to the back so Molly can get to work.

Molly runs a clothing shop, she makes clothes or repairs them. It is hard to work and look after five young children. If she made more money she could hire a sitter, but without her husband its been hard to make the money. Molly is barely making enough to feed them and to keep the shop. One my first day off I came to look around and saw her having trouble and Molly was trying not to cry. I told her I can watch her children while she works.

She thought I wanted money for this but I had to tell her I do it for free. Molly was shocked to hear that. When she asked me why I would help her, I told her about my own childhood. I like to help out so others can have some relief. Molly is only opened for a few hours in the morning, so she can have time to repair clothes and take care of her babies. With me here she can take more orders and sell more clothes. I play with the little ones and feed them. By the time Molly closes they are fast asleep so she can get to work.

After Molly's I headed to Barry's bakery to see if Barry needed help with anything. "Oh good you are here!" Barry said as soon as I stepped into the bakery. Barry pulled me over to his tasting chair. "I got a few new recipes I waned you to try." said Barry with a huge smile. "Ok lets get started." I said with a smile too. "This one is a honey garlic bread." Barry said as he gave me the first bread. I took a bite out of it and chewed. "Wow. That is really garlicky. Put about three more cups of honey in and it will be a great seller." I said as I took another bite of the bread. I love the bread how it is but to make it a best seller Berry has to please the customers.

"Really?" Barry said as he wrote down what I said. "Here this is a herd and spice roll." Barry said and I took a bite out of it. "Pull back the herds by half and up the spice by half a cup." I said and Barry wrote this down. It only took use an hour to go threw all his new recipes. "Can I have the ones you made?" I asked and he chuckled at me. "I should know you take the first batch." Barry said as he handed me a bag full of all the bread he made. "I'm not the only one that likes your bread. Charmy would eat all your goodies and no one in the city get the chance to try them. So this way she gets a taste and so do others." I said with a smile. "Thanks Hoodie I see you the next time you come in." Barry said as he walked me out.

I waved as I walked away. I put the bread in my bag before I dropped them. So for the rest of the day I helped out anyone that needed help. Most of them was people I helped out most of the time. I did get to help new people too. As the day went on I got that same feeling someone is watching me. Every time I come to the city to help out I got that feeling someone is watching me.

Then I saw it and I walked over to it. There was this really pretty long sleeve dress. I normally don't wear dresses because my body has a lot of scars. It's a sky blue with gold stars. I have the money for it but I don't know if I should get it or not. Looking at it for a while before I walked into the shop. The owner must have saw me looking at the dress. "Lets get you into the dressing room so you can try this dress on." the little old lady said with a smile. Before I knew it I was in the dressing room and I found my self taking my clothes off and putting the dress on.

My long purple hair fell down my back softly. "Here are the matching shoes dear." the old lady said as she handed me the shoes. I put the heels on then stepped out of the room. "Oh my. You look so beautiful dear. I've seen so many try that dress on but no one has very looked so beautiful then you. It was made for you." she said and I blushed. "Thank you ma'am. I never tried on a dress before." I said softly. "Really?" she said with sadness in her voice. I told her about the church. "How much?" I asked her. I never really buy anything for my self. "For you it will be half price and the shoes for free." she said and I gave her the money and thanked her.

I put my other clothes in my magic bag. When I stepped out of the shop all eyes was on me and I didn't really like that. As I walked down the street I got this guys following me and trying to talk to me. "Sorry but no." I said to them but they wouldn't leave me alone. "Come on and drink with use." one of them self. "The lady said no." came Yuno's voice before a strong wind came and blew the men away. Yuno turned to look at me and his face turned red. "You ok Yuno?" I asked as his eyes ran down and up my body. "Lulu?" Yuno said softly as he walked over to me. "Yes." I said as my own face turned red.

"What are you doing here?" Yuno asked me. "I joined the Black Bulls." I said and his mouth fell open. "Your the one in the hoodie." Yuno said with a smile at me. "Yes they call me Hoodie and I love." I said softly. "Hoodie? It suits you Lulu. Why did you join the Black Bulls for?" Yuno asked softly. "So Asta don't get into trouble." I said and he looked a little sad. "Oh." was all he said. "You look good in your squad cap." I said softly. Yuno blushed a little more. "Really you think so?" Yuno said. Before I could say anything a male voice spoke. "There you are Yuno. Don't go running off like that." said a man from the same squad as Yuno. "Sorry Klaus but-" Yuno started to say but Klaus cut him off. "No buts-" Klaus started to say but I cut him off.

No one talks to Yuno like that. "He saved me for men who might have tried and raped me." I said as I moved around Yuno. I'm pissed off that someone would speak to the soft hearted Yuno. "Oh sorry ma'am I didn't see you." Klaus said as he looked at me. Like I was trash or something. "Lulu its ok really. No need for a fight." Yuno said to me. "You know her?" Klaus said to Yuno. "We grew up together." Yuno said and Klaus gave me that look. I hate when people give me that ugly look. I growled as I took a step forward. "Oh she is so scary." Klaus said. "I'm a member of the Black Bulls you should be scared." I growled.

"You are a Black Bull?" Klaus said trying to see if he remember seeing me. "I was the last one to pick a squad. I picked the Black Bulls." I said and his eyes got wide. "You are the other one that all the quad leaders raised their hands." Klaus said and I heard his voice shock a little. "Yes." I growled and Yuno picked me up before I started ta fight. "I be back later." Yuno said before he took off running. "You should have let me kick his ass." I said as Yuno took to the sky on his broom. "No Lulu you can't fight him. Klaus isn't so bad." Yuno said and I looked at him.

"If you say so, but the next time he talks to me like that I will punch him." I growled and Yuno chuckled as he blushed a little. I don't get why he is blushing like that. "How is Asta doing?" Yuno asked as he started to go down into a forest. "He is fine and he is getting close to your the other newbie." I said softly. I really don't like that Asta is looking at Noelle. "Oh really? Who is she?" Yuno asked and I told him about Noelle. "Its going to be ok Lulu." Yuno said and I noticed this look on his face. Its the same look I get when Asta breaks my heart.

"You ok Yuno?" I ask as I looked up at him. Yuno is still carrying me. "Yes I am fine." Yuno said with a smile. I can till its a fake smile. I got out of his arms and stood in front of him. Man Yuno is so tall, why haven't I notice it before? Because you've been chasing after Asta to notice Yuno. Said the voice in my head. I put my arms around Yuno and hugged him. Hugging him makes me feel so much better. I felt his own arms wrap around me and his head is resting on top of mine. "Why do you I feel so relax with you in my arms." I heard Yuno mutter to him self. I blushed a deep red as I buried my face into his chest. "I feel the same away." I said softly.

"You heard me?" Yuno said softly. I don't have to see his face to know he was blushing. "Yes, but its ok. I like it when you speak what is on your mind." I said softly. I felt Yuno rubbed his face against the top of my head. "You know I am always here for you. Just send me a letter and I come running." Yuno said and I smiled into his chest.

We stood there for a well then Yuno was nice enough to take me back to the city so I can head home. "I write you when I'm off and see if we can do something." Yuno said to me. "Ok sound good to me." I said back with a smile. Yuno took off and I watched him till I couldn't see him anymore. Then I went looking for Finral. I found him being shot down my a girl. I walked over to him after she left. "You ok?" I asked him and he looked at me. "You are so beautiful." he said. "Finral its me Hoodie." I said to him. Finral's face turned red when I told him who I was. "Oh sorry Hoodie but you do look beautiful in that dress." Finral said with a smile.

I smiled back at him. "Thank you." I said with a small blush. "You ready to head home?" Finral said and I nodded my head. As we walked I put my arm threw his and he looked at me. "Just watch the other girls." I said softly and he did. They looked at him with shock as I walked with him. "Why are they staring at me like that for?" Finral asked me softly. "When you have a beautiful girl on your arm and after they turned you down. They are wondering why a girl like me would be with a guy like you. Hopeful I can help you out." I said as he opened a portal back to the hideout. As we walked into the house captain Yami was waiting for me.

He looked at me before he spoke. "You, Asta and Noelle are being asked to come to the Declaration of Ascension tomorrow." Yami said before he left. After that I went to my room to relax and to put on my normal clothes. I put my new dress up and shoes, looking at them for a little bit before pulling out a book and start readying. At the time I didn't know things are going to get worse or my past is about to come back to bite me.
