"What!?"

Chat Noir had several thoughts run through his head. Celine had just proclaimed herself his sister, which meant that he had a twin? Since when?

"I've always wanted my daughter back. And Chat Noir, what are you even doing here?" Gabriel Agreste asked.

"I'm here because she is my friend, and she is helping another person I'm very close to. And you aren't getting ANY of your children back because I've seen Adrien's bruises and what you've done to him is unacceptable," Chat Noir snarled at Gabriel.

"I never wanted a son anyways. I've only ever wanted a princess to love. When Madeline was kidnapped, it was supposed to be Adrien. The kidnapper made a mistake, and I wasn't there in time to fix it," Gabriel snapped back.

"You HIRED someone to kidnap your own CHILD?! You are the sickest person I've ever met! I've been through so many rough times I've lost count, and you purposely put someone there! Even if it wasn't supposed to be me, the amounts of threats I've heard come from your mouth is absolutely unreasonable! I hate you and will NEVER consider living with you!" Celine screamed.

Gabriel flinched at her harsh words. "But-"

"F- Mr. Agreste, you've already lost custody of one of your children. What on earth makes you think Social Services will let you take in another child" Chat Noir cut him off.

Suddenly there was a loud bang and Chat Noir felt red hot pain sear through his gut. He saw that Gabriel had pulled out a gun, and Chat Noir realized that he'd been shot.

Celine screamed and lunged at Gabriel Agreste. She wrestled the gun from his hands and put it right against his head.

"Get out of this room and stay out for 10 minutes. If you do not listen to me, I will put a bullet through your skull," she snarled.

Gabriel turned and ran. He had no doubt that the police would be coming, and ran to get Nathalie. He would need to hide out in his lair as Hawk Moth until they left.

As Gabriel ran, Celine sprinted to Chat Noir's side. She saw blood pooling where he was crumpled.

"Shit, shit, shit!" She swore under her breath. Celine grabbed a sheet from Adrian's bed and ripped it in strips. She gently felt him for the wound and found it to the upper left, just above his naval.

"Ag!" Chat hissed. He was in a ton of pain, but he was still conscious.

"Good, consciousness is a good sign. I'm going to take off your ring and bandage you as best as I can," Celine told Chat.

"Don't take my ring," Chat Noir protested. "What if Ladybug needs me?"

Celine took Chat's ring off and was not at all surprised when Adrian was the person under the mask. "Idiot. You're in no shape to help her right now. I need to take you to the hospital, and me transforming is the only way for it to work." Celine then slipped Adrian's ring onto her finger.

Celine wrapped her makeshift bandages around Adrian's torso as a green light circled her head and a black floaty thingy appeared.

"Don't worry, I'm not Hawkmoth," Celine muttered to the black floating thingy that kind of looked like a cat. "I'm guessing you're the one behind the magic of Chat. How to I transform so I can save him?"

"Say, Plagg, claws out," the thingy told her.

"Plagg, claws out," Celine said. She then had a cat suit magically appear on her body, along with a baton. She gently picked up Adrian, who could barely hold on to her, and jumped out the window.

Using the baton for the first time holding the deadweight of another person was not easy, but Celine managed to get to the hospital without dropping Adrian. She put the baton away and scooped Adrian up bridal style. She kicked the ER door open, and when a nurse saw her, she ran over immediately.

"He was shot, and it might have hit some vital organs. Please help him," Celine begged.

The nurse yelled, "Get a gurney and get him to the OR stat! Get a blood transfusion ready!"

Another nurse got a gurney, and Celine gently laid him on it. The doctors and nurses took him to be treated, and one of the nurses pulled Celine aside to talk to her privately.

"That boy is Chat Noir, correct?" The nurse questioned. When she saw Celine was reluctant to answer, she smiled reassuringly. "I'm not going to tell the world. But you're obviously a woman- no, a girl- and I can only think that you had to take his ring because he was hurt too badly. You're his sister, correct?"

Celine let out a sigh. "Yes, he is Chat and I am his sister, and I'm terrified because it was our father who did it even though it was technically Chat that was shot. Technically we have different last names because of adoption business, but he ended up with our birth parents and I didn't. His father wanted me, so he's been abused for God knows how long, and I found out yesterday so I confronted Father, and at first he thought I was him so he started hurting me, and Adrian showed up as Chat Noir and Father didn't like that so he shot him." At the end there were tears streaming down her face.

"That's a lot of info. I need to know who your father is so we can send police to try and arrest him," the nurse instructed.

"Gabriel Agreste."

"You're kidding. He has a daughter? And that's Adrian Agreste?"

"Yes. My birth name is Madeline Agreste, though I won't tell you my real one," Celine told her.

"Well, Madeline? You look like you could use a hug," the nurse told her.

Celine felt a few sobs wrack her body as arms wrapped around her. "Thank you," she whispered.

"Well, Madeline? Get out your phone. I'm going to give you my number, and I'll call you when Adrian gets out of surgery. I'd normally suggest you stay here, but I think you have a few things to explain to Chat Noir's partner," the nurse informed her.

Celine pulled away and nodded. "Okay, I'll- oh, come on!"

An akuma siren started going off. "Of all the times, Hawk Moth had to pick now?! It's almost like he knew that- wait a minute. He did know. Hawk Moth is Gabriel Agreste, how did I not see that before? Why else would he send out an akuma right now!?" Celine exclaimed.

"Um, it's highly possible to be a coincidence, but if Gabriel Agreste abused his child, I wouldn't put it past him to be Hawk Moth," the nurse told Celine. "Now go help Ladybug. She needs you."

"Okay, bye, don't forget to call me when the surgery's done," Celine started for the exit.

"Good luck, Madeline!" The nurse called after her.

"Thanks. Save my brother," she replied before exiting.

Celine vaulted away from the hospital, towards the area with ensuing chaos. She had absolutely no idea what she was going to do, having never done this before. Celine spotted Rena Rouge and vaulted over to her. Rena looked up to see who it was. "Hey, Chat- wait, what!? Celine? You're covered in blood- oh God, what happened to Chat?"

"Gabriel Agreste shot him, and I think he's Hawk Moth. Don't be surprised if he calls me Madeline, because apparently that's my birth name and I'm his daughter. Tell details later," Celine informed her.

Rena let out a few choice words. "Please tell me he'll live," she begged.

"I don't know, but I think he'll survive. I got him to the hospital as soon as I could. But for now we have an akuma to fight," Celine told her.

"First you need a superhero name. Then we fight," Rena insisted.

"Um, is that important right now? We really need to go," Celine protested.

"I've got it! Femme Feline has a nice ring to it, don't you think?" Rena chirped.

"Whatever, let's go!" Celine snapped.

"Alright, Femme, come on!" Rena proclaimed.

The two superheroes leaped to the roofs and ran to join the akuma battle.

It was going to be rough.
