EPILOGUE: THE RISING DARKNESS.

(POV: Mysterious Narrator.)

A few days after their marriage ritual, Thomas and Lady have been sleeping in their respective places. Though they were married, Thomas and Lady were still minors and so, still have to follow their parent's rules to an extent. This factor of course ruffled Thomas up a bit as he arrived at the S.M.A.

"Ridiculous! Ridiculous!" He muttered. "I know that me and Lady are still teens, but I think it would be fine if we still slept in the same bed together. Not like I'm going to do anything dirty or anything like that."

"Something wrong, Thomas?"

Thomas looked over, and smiled slightly as he saw a certain girl with golden hair.

"Oh.. Lady." He stammered. "I'm just a little upset that I have to be separated from you when it comes to being outside of school, dates, or missions."

"No I get it." Lady replied. "You just want us to be in more of a spouse type relationship, since well... you know."

"Yeah." Thomas replied, as he then kissed his wife full on the mouth.

"Anyways." Lady continued as she finished her kiss with Thomas. "I spoke about this to mum and dad, and they said that they are actually going to let us sleep in the same bed under one condition."

"Do nothing dirty minded?" Thomas asked knowingly, as Lady gave a sigh.

"Yes. Exactly that."

"Well, that certainly makes my day." Thomas remarked.

"Same here." Lady replied with a smile, as she and Thomas held hands as they walked to their class.

As the day went on, Thomas and Lady never stopped looking for a chance to have some affectionate time with one another. With this behavior of theirs, Thomas and Lady's friends from the Sorcerer-Knight course began to suspect that there was something between them. Which of course there was. That night, at the Billinton Mansion, Lady happily slept next to Thomas, as he held her close to him. As this was happening, Lux-Aurea was out in the Palace's garden, looking at the night sky that was filled with stars.

(POV: Lux-Aurea.)

As I looked at the night sky, I began to think about my daughter and her husband.

"I hope that she's happy with him." I thought. "Lady had always been destined to be with Thomas, and I hope nothing would go wrong in their relationship."

As I continued to think about IT, the future, I began to feel a pain in my head.

"Argh! What the..."

"...Sister..." A voice said to me. "...Aurea... I'M COMING BACK!"

As then images of an orb made of elements shattering filled my mind, a silhouette of a female figure came out of it, before an image of the earth, but fully shrouded in a cloud of darkness came into my thoughts. As I then fell backwards in utter shock, a familiar pair of arms caught before I could hit the ground.

"Lux!" My husband then exclaimed. "What happened?!"

"A vision, Jackland." I replied solemnly. "My sister, Lux-Tembris is slowly breaking free of her prison. She is returning for an ultimate rise of darkness."

(POV: The cloaked man from Chapter 1.)

As I watched King and Queen Allcroft's conversation about Lux-Tembris's return, I clenched my fists for I knew what all that was coming for the Nobleman that their daughter chose.

"My time is short now." I thought as I then pulled out a picture of my long departed wife. "I must do what needs to be done to fix this madness, my love. I need to do this act. Even if it would make you cry in the end, I'm doing it for the sake of Sodor. I can't EVER forgive myself for what I did, and so what I'm doing is the very best for everyone, Lady."

(POV: Mysterious Narrator.)

As the cloaked man then slid his hood over his black hair with blue highlights, his eyes glowed a golden seal that looked identical to that of Thomas's seal of pendragon, but with the addition of blue and red lines outlining it. I wasn't for certain, but for a moment, I was sure that I saw two golden swords shimmering as they were strapped to his back. Both of the same color scheme, shapes, and length, as Excalibur and Caliburn. As he then walked off into the night, it was clear that this man's story had a tragic end to it.
