Femme Feline

"What's taking Chat and Rena so long?!" Ladybug called to Carapace and Queen Bee, hoping that they'd know.

"No idea, but I could use some help," Queen Bee replied, blocking Game Changer's balls with her stinger.

"Rena should be here," Carapace worried.

"We have to focus on the akuma," Viperion told them.

"I'm sure they're just running late. This akuma is a toughie, though. The amuck isn't helping. It's really pushing us, even with 8. Hawk Moth and Mayura really have stepped up their game," Bunnyx warned.

"Just attack. They'll come," Ryuko called to the worried pair.

"Pegasus, King Monkey, Bunnyx, Carapace, you four go on the amuck. Ryuko, Viperion, Queen Bee, go on the akuma with me," Ladybug instructed.

"Already there," Queen Bee responded as the rest of the Miraculous holders moved to follow Ladybug's instructions.

The akuma, Game Changer, was a person who tried to get on the French national football team and failed. He was certain that he had performed better than those who had made the team and he was furious. His power was kicking balls at terminal velocity, and the Miraculous holders were having a hard time getting close to him. The amuck was a football that had been nearby. It was flying at all the holders nearby, and landing attacks on it was proving difficult.

"I will show you my skills are better than all of those on the national team!" Game Changer screamed.

Suddenly a baton came whirling out of nowhere and whacked Game Changer in the side of the head. It came flying back to the hand that threw it.

"Chat, what took you- what?! Who are you?!" Ladybug yelled.

Instead of Chat, there was a girl his age instead. The suit was relatively the same, other than a silver, glittery mask and highlights throughout the suit.

"I'm Chat Noir's sister, and he's not available so I'm here instead," the female Chat replied.

"She's Femme Feline," Rena Rouge called out.

"What on earth-" Ladybug was cut off when the akuma kicked another ball at her face. "Rena, amuck. Whoever you are, akuma with me. Got it?" she snapped. The two girls moved to follow her orders. As they got to fighting, Ryuko noticed something startling.

"Why are you covered in blood?" Ryuko asked the girl.

"Don't tell me it's Chat's," Ladybug begged.

"He got shot," Femme Feline told them.

"No! He'll be okay, right?" Ladybug cried.

Viperion blocked 3 footballs. "We have to focus, I'm sure he'll be fine. Chat's strong," he told them.

"Who did it?" Ladybug snapped, firing her yoyo at the akuma.

"Gabriel Agreste," Femme replied. "He also abused his child and threatened to murder his friends if he told anyone. The only reason I can come up for him shooting Chat Noir as Chat is that he's Hawk Moth. Also, the akuma showed up right after."

"Gabriel Agreste. Abused his child. His child. Is Adrian. I know Adrian," Ryuko said in horror.

"We can go blow up in his face for hurting our friend later. For now, we need to fight," Queen Bee snapped. "Get ahold of yourselves."

The five heroes unleashed their fury on the akuma. It didn't stand a chance. After the akuma was purified and released, there were ten heroes on the amuck. Femme Feline used cataclysm on it and Ladybug purified the feather as well. The nine circled Femme in curiosity and apprehension to ask her for the details of what happened to Chat Noir.

"Where is he?!" Ladybug demanded.

"I took him to a hospital. He's in surgery right now, and the hospital will call me when he's out. I honestly don't know if he'll be okay, though," Femme told her.

"What happened? Why was he shot?" Queen Bee demanded.

"Long story short, I realized that Adrian Agreste was abused at home, so he and I switched places because we're nearly identical. I went with his bodyguard and he went with my parents. Gabriel Agreste attacked me when I got to his home, and Chat Noir showed up to stop him. Gabriel pulled out a gun and shot him before I could do anything. I got the gun and may or may not have threatened to murder him…. Anyways, I took the ring, transformed and got him to the hospital, and then came here," Femme told them.

The ring on Femme Feline's finger beeped. "What does that mean?" Femme asked.

"It means you have little time before you reveal your identity to the world," Bunnyx replied.

"I really don't care if you know who I am," Femme shrugged.

Then there was a ringing sound from a phone. Femme pulled out her device to see it was her's ringing. "It's the hospital- I gotta go, bye!" She launched from her baton and disappeared into the city.

After she left, Ladybug put her head in her hands. "I'll have to discuss the importance of secret identities with her later," she muttered to herself. Louder, she said, "This is a mess."

"But why would Gabriel Agreste shoot Chat Noir as Chat?" Pegasus asked.

"She has a theory he's Hawk Moth, and honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he was," Rena Rouge told him.

Ladybug's eyes hardened. "Go home, guys. Tomorrow, we have the fight of our lives."

A young teen was walking briskly along the inside of the gate of the Agreste estate. She paused for a moment, spotting an unusual sight. There was a window open in the ground, and if it hadn't been open, she wouldn't have noticed the hidden room at all. The girl peeked through the window and saw the figure of Hawk Moth. She prepared herself, took a deep breath, and stepped to where she could be seen by him.

"Why did you do it?"

Hawk Moth looked up to see the female teen, her figure silhouetted by the bright light of the sun in the window where he released his akumas.

Hawk Moth smirked. "I have to admit. I wasn't expecting you," he told her.

"Why?" she asked more forcefully.

"Why what?" Hawk Moth asked her.

"Why did you become Hawk Moth? Why did you shoot Chat? What made you so angry that you chose to take it out on your son? I have a lot of questions, and I want you to answer them," the girl told the supervillain.

"Why did I become Hawk Moth? I wanted my wife and daughter back, in place of my son. I never wanted him. That's why I hurt him. Why did I shoot Chat? Because he interfered with family affairs he had no place in. Besides, Chat Noir is a nuisance, and I took my chance to get rid of him. What makes you think I won't take a chance to get rid of you?"

"I'm not a problem to you," the girl said confidently.

"And what makes you say that?" Hawk Moth asked her.

"I may be angry with you, Gabriel Agreste, but what can I do about it? You hurt one of my best friends and I didn't even notice. I want to hurt you. I want you to get arrested. But there's nothing I can do," the girl told him.

"If there's nothing you can do, then why are you talking to me?" Hawk Moth asked the girl.

"Oh, you didn't notice? I've been live streaming this entire conversation to the Ladyblog. You've exposed your identity to everyone watching and admitted to child abuse and attempted murder. I really wouldn't try to kill me, though. The last thing I would want is to add another stain to your name, Gabriel. Oh! And the police are here," Alya concluded with a smirk.

True to her word, the police swarmed down on the area, all pointing guns at Hawk Moth. They pulled off his Miraculous to reveal that it truly was Gabriel Agreste under the mask. They handed the butterfly to Alya. "I'll make sure that this gets to Ladybug," she assured the police.

Alya picked up her phone. "Bye, guys. Bet you weren't expecting that," she said and stopped the live stream. Then she hid in an ally. "Trixx, let's pounce!" she called, and launched to get the Miraculous to Ladybug, or as she knew, Marinette.
