Chapter Four

Loreile was watching out the window with the snow still falling light onto the streets already been paved from the plows for the past few days. She was watching and waiting for the security officers while Madeline was upstairs with her son. She had already checked twice that he was asleep in his cradle while she was resting herself with a small cot. It was all part of the deal for when she was hired as a nanny through the agency.

Finally after another 15 minutes they arrived with parking in front with three burly Naval officers walking up to the door. For some of the neighbors across the street they were going to be nosey with asking questions later when they see a woman being pulled out of Gibbs house and into a holding cell for overnight.

There was a knock on the door when she walked over to the door that was unlocked. Loreile was nervous and wanted this woman out of her house now.

"Mrs. Gibbs I am Sergeant Jonesy of the Naval yards. As per your husband's orders we are here to arrest and take into custody Madeline Hernandez Gilbert. Where is she?" He had to asked with the other two behind him.

"She upstairs with my son asleep in his cradle. She is supposed to be resting as well. Let me go first with removing my son as soon as possible." She relayed the information to the three officers moving with following her up the stairs.

And finding the woman asleep as she quickly moved Shane out of the cradle and with moving out of the way to have the officers take over. Loreile walked into the bedroom to place Shane onto the bed watching him still fast asleep. While Sergeant Jonesy woke the woman and right away she knew what was going on.

"How did you find out about me?" She was fighting the two officers with getting her up and placing her wrists into the back of her to have the cuffs placed on her.

"Everything will be explained further to you back at the NCIS Naval Yards and what charges had been placed against you. However there is one very angry NCIS agent and his name is Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs for having connection to Jose Juan Hernandez."

"Believe me this doesn't here at all officer. Special Agent Gibbs is going to have further problems for when it comes to the Cartel and the revenge. I have nothing else to say on the subject of hand." She stated with the three moving her out of the nursery and with Loreile hearing every word she had said to them and no doubt it will get back to her husband.

All she was worried now was calling the agency telling them she was going to be needing a new nanny to take care of Shane was the fact she was going to give her husband a special Christmas gift when she gets to go see her baby doctor tomorrow with her sister helping with the drive. Now that Shane was without someone to take care of him.

Gibbs was anxious with calling his wife at home. He had been called to the lab. But first he called her to asked the following. "Did the security officers arrived to arrest the woman?"

"They did Jethro. I am afraid she had mention that Hernandez is planning on more revenge against you. She said that she wasn't going to talk any further with waving her rights. Jesus Gibbs I just we knew this sooner with her taking care of Shane."

"We have her now into custody once they arrive. And I will be placing her into the cell for the night. " He said over the phone.

"Why? Because Shane is going to miss out on his playtime in the snow with you and Phineas." Loreile responded...

"That's right my dear wife. I never had a chance for when Kelly was alive. I will be home as soon as I know they have brought her into the holding cell for processing. "

"That's fine with me. However now I need to call the agency to get someone else to take her place. Love you." She hangs up the phone with watching Shane sleeping.

Meanwhile he headed into the lab to have more answers from Kasie working on other cases for Doctor Anthony Sterling. However she had seen Agent Gibbs walking in with a slight limp all of a sudden with being on his legs. "Kasie what do you have?"

"Finally I have been waiting to tell you that Madeline Hernandez Gilbert's name is actually Alicia Morton of the undercover division of the Naval department working to achieve information on Hernandez when ever she had made contact with him. I understand you have arrested the woman?"

"I did Kasie. And we will need to keep up the pretense of her cover before she is processed back to my house. My wife is going to be explained the story and stick by it."

"So you knew all this time with the evidence being planted?" Kasie will have to asked and still confused. "But what I don't understand Agent Gibbs is where does Bobson Robbs and Corporal Donny James comes into play with this case and the evidence planted?"

"From what I understand that the both of them as well working for the Cartel and Hernandez with a large shipment of diamonds missing from the Apex jewelry store. " There was a phone call coming into the lab for Kasie.

"One moment Gibbs so that I can get the call. No doubt it's your security officers with the undercover officer." She answers it to be the security officer that had arrested the woman. "I will let him know that she has arrived and will be placed into custody for the night."

"Thanks Kasie. I am going upstairs to get ready for home and my son Shane to go sledging." He stated with enthusiasm in his step for when it comes to his son of eight months of age and smart as a whip.
