HOLIDAY SPECIAL 19 yrs later

As the holidays approached Ginny and Herminoe were put in charge of this year's Christmas festivities. Ginny and Herminoe were walking down Diagon Alley, sipping their morning coffee and thinking about their winter festivity plans.

"Well, we have to make it special this year" Herminoe started saying. "Because it's our Niece Molly's first Christmas away from Hogwarts, I cannot believe that James will be joining her soon, only 2 years away." Herminoe finished, sadly looking at her sister-in-law. Ginny looked at Hermione sternly "Don't remind me." Ginny said plainly. Herminoe laughed at her stubbornness. "Well, I have this Idea to make it super special for her, that involves a fun way to make fun of Ron." After hearing the last part Ginny leaned in towards Herminoe. "I'm in!" the two of them laughed. Herminoe secretly told Ginny her plan and the two of them got busy with some shopping.

As they walk into the new Decor shop run by Hannah Longbottom, Herminoe sends a Patronus to Ron. "Ron, I am just double-checking that you have the Christmas turkey. Like I told you to get a week ago? They just ran out of turkeys and I hope you got it already" Herminoes otter twisted and disappeared. A moment or two later a giant dog appeared in front of Herminoe. "Don't worry, I've got the turkey." Herminoe let out a relieved sigh and went back to looking for Christmas decor. "How much do you want to bet he doesn't have the turkey," Ginny said laughing. "5 Gallons that he has the turkey," Herminoe said firmly. "5 Gallons he doesn't," said Ginny firmly gripping Hermione's hand hard as they shook on it. "You better have that turkey, Ronald," Herminoe whispered that made Ginny burst out in laughter.

Ron's POV. (Ron's Point of View)

When did Herminoe ask for the bloody turkey? He didn't have it and he had just lied to his wife. He apparated to the ministry of magic and did the first thing that came to mind, knocked on Harry's door. "Mate! Mate! Open up it's Ron." Harry got up to open the door, and to his surprise, Ron came into the room pacing. "I don't have the bloody turkey!" Harry laughed and told him to sit down in his office chair. "Ron, calm down mate." Ron didn't sit down and continued pacing. "I will not calm down! Herminoe asked me to get the bloody turkey, a week or 2 ago and I don't have the turkey! What am I supposed to do?" Harry laughed again.

"I dunno, listen I have a trial with Umbridge, Want to come, and then we can sort out this turkey trama." Ronn nodded. "Wouldn't miss it for my life!" They both laughed as Harry pulled on his Auror robes. And they walked down to the trial rooms.

Christmas Eve

Herminoe and Ginny arrived at the burrow hours before everyone else. greeted them as they walked in. Herminoe and Ginny hung tinsel around the inside. (using their wands). They made signs and hung pictures in Weasley members' old rooms. They went outside and put up huge tents, and hung more festive tinsel. They put a wreath in the middle of the tents. They laid out giant tables where they would put the food. They also added a small area with a Christmas tree and chairs all around the front of the tree. They each had a small name tag with their names placed neatly on the chairs. Lights were strung from each tent. They also had a small cookie decorating table for the kids. And a bar for the adults. Once they finished Herminoe neatly wrapped a small gift and placed it with a flick of her wand underneath the tree.

"Let's go over the guest list again," Herminoe said eagerly. "Fine, I'll call them out" Ginny responded

"Harry"

"Check"

"James, AL and Lou"

"Got it"

"Teddy, Andromeda"

"Yep"

"Me and You"

"Oh, No didn't get us"

"Minoe, Calm down I got us already"

"Gin! Don't scare me like that!"

"Ron, Rose, Hugo"

"Yep"

"Molly jr, Lucy, Audrey, and Percy."

"Got them."

"George, Angie, Roxy, and Fred."

"Yup"

"Charlie, Mum, and Dad."

"Got them."

"Luna, Neville, Hannah, and Rolf"

"Mhm"

"Lorcan, Lysander."

"Yeah, anyone else."

"Victore, Domaque, and Louis."

"Got them."

"Fleur, Bill, Gabrille, Mossier Delacor, and Mrs. Delacor."

"Yeah, Is this the last one?"

"Dudley, and his wife, and their daughter, which shockingly has magic blood."

"Ginny!"

"Your Parents, Oh and Katie, and Gwenog Jones, Wilda Griffiths, and Valmai Morgan, Scorpius, and Draco."

"Wow that's a lot of people"

"Do you think we invited enough people?" Ginny said, still clutching the list and scanning for extra people. "How many people did we invite?" Ginny scanned the list for the third time continuing silently in her head. "46 people, wait, forgot some, actually 48," Ginny said eyeing the list still. "48! Wow, that's a lot." Herminoe said crazily. "Did we get all the decor, Ron got the turkey right?" Ginny clutched her friend that was freaking out. "Herminoe chill, we got everything." Herminoe looked at her friend, "I think we should go over it again." Herminoe said, biting her lip. Ginny rolled her eyes and followed her sister-in-law.

Hours later, people started to arrive. "Hey, Hermione!" Dudley said. "Good to see you again." Herminoe shook his hand and walked away. She looked busy trying to greet the other people as they arrived. "Hey, Ginny," Dudley said hugging Ginny. "Good to see you, Dudley, how has work been?" Ginny said politely. "Good as always, Emma, stop tugging on my shirt sweetheart," Dudley said putting his large hand on his daughter's face, almost squishing her into the ground. "She is super excited to see Lilly." Ginny laughed and bent down to Emma. "Hi M! Lou is in the kitchen with her grandma. Granny Weasley would love to see you, dear." Emma without saying another word ran into the house. Both Ginny and Dudley laughed. "Kids these days." Henrietta, Dudley's wife said laughing. "Oh, Hen didn't see you there. Good to see you guys. Make yourselves at home, Harry is probably going to come to talk to you guys in a second." Ginny added walking away from them now.

Ginny went over to join Herminoe. "Hey Gin!" George said, hugging his sister. "Excellent party Gin, and Minoe. Really outdid yourselves." Angelina said, sounding impressed. "Thanks, Angie," Herminoe said nicely. "I'm gonna get a drink, Angie? Want one?" George said talking to Angelina. Herminoe and Ginny walked away and greeted the other guests. Harry and Ron turned up to the party later than everyone else. Herminoe and Ginny rushed over to them. "Harry, Dudley, and Hen probably want to talk to you soon. I told them you would be over." She said kissing his cheek as he arrived. "Alright, I'll go talk to them." Harry then strutted over to the Dursleys.

"So, Ron. Did you get the turkey?" Herminoe said Giving Ron one of her famous glares. "E-r, about that." Herminoe groaned and dug into her purse in her nice Christmas dress. "Here." She said shoving the money into Ginny's hand. "You won," Herminoe said, closing her purse back again. Ginny had a happy celebration. "Oh yeah! I won!" Herminoe rolled her eyes and Ron looked confusingly at the two of them. "Somehow I knew you wouldn't get it so is already baking an Extra turkey. Please get the actual turkey Ronald, it's not that hard. Also, you have Dirt on your nose. Just there." She said, taking out a handkerchief and rubbing off the dirt on his nose. Ron groaned. "About 25 years later and you still have to point out I have dirt on my nose." Herminoe laughed. "Blimey, Forgot when I first met you I said that." Ginny laughed, and Ron joined in on the laughter when Herminoe said that last part.

Ginny and Herminoe said bye to Ron and made their way to greet everyone else. After an hour passed by everyone had been greeted and, we're now all talking to each other, Herminoe and Ginny put their wands to their neck and started talking. "Attention everyone!" Herminoe said like she does this daily. "So, if everyone would make their way towards the eating tables. We could start eating, All thanks to my wonderful Mum Molly, and happy Christmas, out of Hogwarts! Cheers to both Mollys!" Ginny said, raising her glass. "To Molly's!" The crowd echoed and then people started talking again but making their way over to the feasting table. Ginny took a seat next to Harry and Lou. Harry was putting potatoes on Lou's plate, and Lou was refusing to say she could do it herself. It was a happy party as it should be, but the best was yet to come.

After everyone finished eating, Herminoe and Ginny got up again and this time told everyone to make their way to the chairs around the tree. Everyone followed clutching gifts, the white elephant could now begin. "Who wants to start?" said Ginny after explaining the rules. "I will!" Said George, he stood up in the middle of the circle for everyone to see. " I got Harry.." Harry stood up and took the gift from George. Harry ripped the side of the wrapping paper out to reveal a small frame. Harry looked questioningly at George, and with a flick of Georges's wand, a small picture flew into the frame. Harry turned it over and burst out in laughter. Everyone looked confused except for George who was now laughing. Harry turned the picture frame over and there was Harry at Umbridge's trial. Everyone now burst into laughter. Harry gave George a big hug and said. "Blimey, this is an amazing gift."

George went back to his seat and Harry then called out who he got. "So, I got Lou." Lilly stood up next to her Dad. She took the gift from his hand and ripped it open. It was a book. Lilly looked confusingly at her dad, but he just beamed. Lilly opened the book and found a novel that he made himself. It was a short book on his adventures. She smiled and hugged the book. Lilly then called out after her dad sat down. "I got Grandma Weasley, Here Granny!" She gave a flat box. opened it and it was a picture of the two of them together. "Thank you, dear! for this thing, I got darling Herminoe." She extended her arm and Herminoe took the gift. She ripped it open neatly. It was a scrapbook of Harry, Ron, and Her together from year 1 to today. On the back, there was a message engraved. "There are more important things like friendship and Bravery." Hermione had tears sparkling in her eyes. "Thank you, , It's wonderful really." beamed and the crowd clapped.

"So, I got Ron. Here Ron." She held out the small box in front of Ron. Ginny giggled with laughter from her chair, Herminoe let out a small giggle and Ron looked confusingly from Herminoe to the box. He let out a small hearty laugh and ripped open the wrappings on the box. It was a small velvet case. He opened it and to his displeasure a small gold necklace with the words, 'My Sweetheart' engraved on the necklace. Harry burst out into laughter and Ron's ears turned red, he then said. "I thought I burned this and smashed it to pieces" The crowd laughed at his remark, but Some people were still confused, Hugo and Rose were the most confused. Ron laughed at his kids' confused faces and said "a story for a different day." And that was a Christmas the Weasley-Potter-Granger household never forgot.
