*AN~ OKAYY MY FINE FRIENDS! Here we are with another story, this is my first attempt at an actual series instead of one-shots! This is a Modern AU, rock band story with the whole gang! Hope you enjoy 33

Katara looks over at her phone to see that her boyfriend Jet is calling. She picks up the phone with a "Hello?"
"Hey babe, how are you doing?" Jet responds.
"I'm doing good, what's up?"
"I have an idea for our date on Friday night."
"Hmm, I'm interested."
"I wanna go see your brother's band! They're performing on Friday and I wanna go check them out!"
"I don't see why not! I'm down."
"Cool, I'll see you Friday night." Jet hangs up.
"Great, I'll have to see Aang again." "Now don't get me wrong I like Jet, but the relationship isn't there. I had the biggest crush on Aang before I got with Jet, but then he got with Ty Lee, and then to cope I got with Jet. A month into Aang's & Ty Lee's relationship they broke up leaving Aang single but I'm not the person to break up with people so I've been with Jet since. It's been 3 months since the beginning of their relationship & I'm not feeling it anymore but I don't wanna break his heart, but I also wanna get with Aan-"
"KATARA!" Sokka shouts.
"Huh? Oh sorry, Sokka I was deep, deep in thought. What's up?"
"Zuko, Haru, and Aang are coming over to practice for our performance on Friday so, you'll hear us."
"Alright, thanks for the warning. I'll put on my headphones."
"I was hoping you'd come down and listen."
Ahhh I see, sure I'll come down!"
"Sweet, see ya!"
Katara gets up to go change into a fresh outfit due to the fact that she's still in her pajamas. She finds a black skirt and pairs it with a pair of fishnets & a white long sleeve with a striped shirt over it. She puts on some black platforms and heads into the garage.
Toph was already in the garage when Katara came down.
"Hey, Toph! How have you been?"
"Hey Sugar Queen, I've been alright I've had my days," Toph responds.
"I feel that. Jet hasn't made my life that much easier to deal with."
"Sweetness, why don't you just break up with him. It's obvious that he doesn't make you happy. It's also very obvious that you like Aang."
Katara starts to blush, "I don't like Aang! And I am happy with Jet!"
"Whatever you say, Sweetness!" Toph laughs.
20 minutes later, Zuko & Aang show up. Zuko is wearing a black graphic tee with a black windbreaker. He paired the shirt with blue ripped jeans and black vans. He has his bass swung around on his back as well. His jet black hair falling close to his shoulders. With Aang, he's wearing a black sweater with a white-collar underneath. His shaggy black hair under a black beanie. Paired with black jeans and black & white hightops; his drumsticks in his hands. Katara starts to blush as she sees Aang set up his drumset, Toph elbows her.
"I'll told you so" Toph whispers.
"Where the fuck is Haru? He's late!" Zuko asks.
"Fuck if I know," Aang responds.
Katara & Toph laugh as Sokka gets a phone call. After a few moments of "Uh-huh" & "Ahh alright mhm", Sokka hangs up.
"Haru is gonna be here in 5 so for now we can just vibe warm up and stuff."
"Alright," Aang & Zuko respond.
After 10 minutes pass, a silver car pulls up, blasting When You Were Young by The Killer. After a few moments, the music cuts out and Haru steps out of his car rushing into the garage.
"OKAY I'M HERE! SORRY I'M LATE!" Haru exclaims. "Let's get started!
"Cool, what song are we warming up with?" Sokka asks, pic in mouth.
"Hm, what about Toph or Katara picks?" Aang suggests.
"Alright, Toph, Katara what song?" Sokka asks.
Toph and Katara sit and converse with each other and after a few moments, they both agree and say, " What about Heaven 2.9? By the Backyard Babies?"
They all look at each other in agreement and Aang counts them down 1 2 1234!
Sokka and Zuko & Aang start with the intro, Sokka & Zuko with the basic guitar and Aang with the beat. After a few moments; Haru starts,

At this time Katara and Toph were up and dancing around with each other, causes Aang to blush.

Aang, Zuko, and Sokka finish out the riffs and the song ends.
Katara exclaims "GUYS THAT WAS AMAZING!"
"I second what Sweetness says, you guys are good."
"All in a day's work," Zuko says.
"I'm going to get something to drink, you guys want anything?" Katara asks.
"I'll take a Monster," Zuko says.
"Same here!" Aang says.
"You guys are insane, I'll take a water Katara," Haru adds.
"Alrighty 3 monsters & a water, I'll be right back.
Katara leaves and Sokka says something as the door closes.
"AANG YOU TOTALLY STILL LIKE HER!"
Aang was taken aback and drops his sticks; a deep blush forming on his face.
"I do not! She's happy with Jet and I have to respect that! Speaking of which; Haru I wanna sing a song on Friday. Can you back me up on drums?"
"Yeah, yeah I got you," Haru responds.
"Cool thank you!"
Katara comes back with three original Monsters and a water. She passes them around and sits back down on the couch.
Practice ends but all of them head over to Aang's house to hang out.
"Listen, our first real performance is on Friday and we don't even have a name!" Sokka exclaims.
"I have a name suggestion," Aang announces. "Listen, Zuko is from the Fire Nation, I'm from the Air Nation, Sokka is Water Tribe, and lastly Haru is from the Earth Kingdom."
"Yes yes Aang we already know this, get to the point!" Haru says.
"Alright alright, I was talking with Gyatso and he said that there was this legend about this person who was called the Avatar and he was able to bend all of the elements and I think since we all represent the four nations it's be cool to name our band Avatar." Aang finishes.
They all look at each other smiles on their faces.
"Aang, you're a fucking genius!" Zuko exclaims.
"That's a badass name dude! AVATAR! I'm so down for that!" Sokka adds.
Toph and Katara also show their love for the new name.
"So Avatar it is?" Aang asks.
Murmurs of agreement and exclamations come from the group. "Cool!" Aang says.
