*AN~ nothing special here except for THE CONCERT CHAPTER! *multiple foghorns go off* BE READY! IT'S A LONG ONE!
Haru, Aang, Sokka, and Zuko are all setting up their respective instruments in Sokka's garage.
"Guys we need a warm-up song. We can't mess this up," "This is our one chance to make a good first impression." Sokka says. He looks around and sees everyone's nervous faces. "NO PRESSURE THOUGH!"
"Look at that, Snoozles always messing shit up," Toph says.
All of them laugh and realize that it's going to be alright. They are good at what they do and they are excited to see what happens at the concert tomorrow.
"What if we warm-up with I Sat By The Ocean by Queens of the Stone?", Haru suggests.
"I can do that!" Aang says while twirling his drumsticks.
The intro starts with Aang starting the beat, Sokka on his guitar, and Zuko on bass. After a few moments, Haru starts to sing.

Katara and Toph at this point were already up and goofing off with eachother listening to the song.

Haru ends the song and Katara squeals.
"You guys have nothing to worry about! You all are gonna kill it!" Katara boasts.
"Sugar Queen is right you guys are gonna kill it. Speaking of the concert, HEY ZUKO! I'M INVITING SUKI!"
Zuko's face goes pink.
"So Hotman has a little crush now doesn't he!?" Haru laughs.
"N-No I do-don't! She's just one of Toph's friends." Zuko says.
"That you wanna smash!" Sokka hollers.
Everybody except Zuko, who is blushing all laugh.
"It's not funny! She's just different!" Zuko says while smiling.
'"WAIT A MINUITE! ZUKO SMILING!? OH THIS GIRL GOT HIM WHIPPED!" Haru says.
"Whipped like actual whips. Collars and ropes, the whole kinks," Toph finishes.
"TOPH! You're insane!" Katara laughs.
While in class, Aang and Zuko notice that Sokka isn't in class. Aang pulls out a piece a paper and writes a note to Zuko.
"Hey do you know where Sokka is?", the note reads. He shakes his head and just as this moment comes the intercom beeps.
"MR AQUA! GET AWAY FROM THERE!", Vice Principal Zhao says.
"This will only take like two seconds be patient! ALRIGHTY! Hello my fellow peers at Four Nations High! I'm apart of a band called Avatar and we have a concert tonight!"
Sokka starts. Aang and Zuko are looking at eachother due to the fact that their friend is a mad man who can't be stopped.
"Wait- wait! I'm almost done! We are preforming at the Boiling Rock if you wanna come and support us! Alright alright! I'm done!" Sokka yells. The intercom beep comes back indicating it is now off.
Now over with Katara and Toph they couldn't help but laugh at their friend's antics to help promote the concert.
"Well that was quite an announcement, anyways class let's just get back to work," Mr. Pakku says.
At lunch they all meet up in the garden to talk and relax.
"Sokka that stunt you pulled today was as dumb as it was smart," Aang says.
"I'm just glad they didn't give me detention! I wouldn't have been able to rehearse!" Sokka says.
"I just hope we actually do a good job. I don't wanna disappoint." Haru says.
"Oh will you guys stop being wusses! Aang you are a very talented drummer. Sokka you've been playing guitar since before I could talk. Zuko for as long as we have known you, your bass skills have only gotten better. Lastly, Haru your voice is amazing! You guys are fucking AVATAR FOR GOD'S SAKE! Stop wallowing in thinking that you guys can't do it, because I know you can! We all know you can!" Katara finishes her long speech leaving all speechless. "Sorry, that might have been a lot to hand-"
Sokka hugs his sister, "Thank you Katara!"
"SOKKA! Get off of me! But you're welcome." Katara pushes her brother off of her.
"Yeah thanks Katara that was needed," Haru smiles.
"Glad I could help!"
They all finish their lunch and hang out until the lunch bell rings.
"I'll see you guys at the end of school?"
They all nod. "Cool! Bye guys!" Katara hollers as she leaves.
Katara's POV
I walk to my Worlds Study class when I see Jet talking with a girl.
"Hey Jet!" I say.
"Oh wassup Katara, this is Smellerbee. She's one of my friends."
"Hi Smellerbee! I'm Jet's girlfriend." I say holding out a hand for her to shake. She scoffs at my hand and just looks at me.
"Whatever, I'll see you later at the concert tonight," Smellerbee says walking away.
"Bye!" Jet says with a smile.
"A couple things. One, she's not very nice. Second, I thought tonight was our date was tonight?" I say.
"Babe, calm down she's my friend so I don't want you talking about her like that and second, it's not that deep she's just gonna be there just like a lot of people."
I was shocked. Jet never talked to me like this but maybe it has to deal with what happened the previous night.
"I'm sorry. I'll text you tonight. Love you."
"Love you too Kat." Jet says as he walks away.
All I can think about is how life would be if Aang were my boyfriend instead.
Once school gets out, Toph and Katara decide to go over to Katara's house to figure out outfits and just hang out before rehearsal and the concert.
"Sugar Queen. I love you to literal death but you can't do this to yourself anymore." Toph says while looking through platform boots.
"Toph you understand that I can't just break up with Jet for the SOLE purpose to get with Aang," Katara hollers from the bathroom.
While the two converse through the bedroom and bathroom a phone rings.

"SHIT SHIT SHIT!" Katara yells. She runs out of the bathroom to grab her grabs it and the contact shows "Aang 3"
"Hey Aang! How can I help you?" Katara says.
Toph flips her head around to stare at Katara, knowing damn well she can't "see" Katara but she can feel her heartbeat racing. (AN~ This is what happens when you write your first official story, you forget things. Toph is still blind, I'm sorry I forgot to say something at the beginning sorry once again!) Toph's smirk grows wider knowing the song that was chosen for Aang's contact reflects Katara's feelings for him.
Katara gave her a "please don't say anything" look and Toph does just that but keeps the smirk on her face.
"Nothing! I just wanted to talk to my best friend before everything!" Aang says on the other line.
Katara blushes and Toph can feel her heartbeat going millions of miles an hour.
"That speech you gave earlier really helped me out! I'm stressing a bit
but I just wanted to say thank you!" Aang says.
"Oh it was really nothing! You guys were all nervous so I did a pep talk!" Katara says.
"Anyways, I'll see you at the house for rehearsal! Bye Kat!"
"Bye Aang!"
Aang hangs up and Katara falls against her bed; she sighs deeply.
"Sweetness, just admit it to yourself. You are in love with Aang," Toph says.
"Okay, OKAY! I'm in love with Aang! GOD DAMNIT!" Katara yells.
"YES KATARA WE KNOW NOW SHUT UP!" Sokka yells from the other room.
Toph and Katara laugh with eachother and go back to picking out their outfits.
***rehearsal time-skip***
Aang, Sokka, Zuko, and Haru are all in the garage, sitting in a comfortable yet anxious silence.
"Hey guys, I know we haven't performed yet but do you think we'll be able to make it to Battle of the Bands?" Aang asks.
"What's that?" Sokka asks.
"Pretty much, it's what it's called. It's a battle of a bunch of bands, winner gets a record label and gigs," Aang explains.
"That sounds cool! A record label?" Haru says.
"If we try hard enough, we can get there," Zuko says.
They all agree and start rehearsal.
"Okay guys! That's enough we don't want to strain ourselves," Haru says.
"We have about an hour to be at the Boiling Rock, so in the meantime go change, get showered and meet up at the place," Haru continues.
They all nod and go their separate ways, except for Aang he stays at Sokka's to get ready since he already brought his outfit and such.
"Alright Aang you can go shower up in my room, I'll be in the living room," Sokka says.
"Alright thank you!" Aang goes upstairs and finds Sokka's room. In his room he can hear Toph and Katara goofing off in Katara's room. "Her laugh sounds like chiming bells", he thought to himself. "Okay okay, go get showered we don't have a lot of time."
After Aang showers he grabs a towel and wraps it around his waist, leaving his chest fully exposed. Without any warning, Katara opens Sokka's door to Aang standing at the bathroom door.
"OH MY LORD!" Katara squeals. "I'm so sorry! I didn't know you were in here. I thought you all left and I-"
"Katara it's cool, but can I go put clothes on now?" Aang asks.
Katara laughs and sighs, "Yeah, again I'm sorry!" She shuts the door and slams her door and screams into the pillow. Aang laughs at what a goofball she is. But she's just his type.
Aang grabs his beanie and puts on his outfit. It's a black and white striped-long sleeve shirt, with black military pants. He has on his classic vans and has a black beanie, which only shows the front of his hair. He puts on some cologne and goes downstairs to tell Sokka that he can shower now. Over with Katara, after she screams in her pillow, Toph has a laughing fit.
"So Sweetness, did you like what you saw?" Toph asks while smirking.
Katara's heartbeat was the only answer Toph needed.
"Alright with that, let's get you looking like a badass!" Toph says.
Katara's outfit consists of a tank top, that has mesh sleeves and camo pants. The camo pants is being held up by a belt and chains, and she is wearing black Doc Martens. A chain necklace and hoop earrings are also apart of the outfit as well as her dark brown hair, half up and half down. Her makeup is just some dark red eyeshadow and dark red matte lipstick. "Okay, this seems to be it!" Katara says.
"I have a feeling that you look sexy as hell so!" Toph says.
Toph is wearing a Pink Floyd t-shirt with black shorts with black fishnets. She accessorized with chains and the shoe black platforms. Her makeup consists of black lipstick and black eyeshadow that perfectly contrasts her pale skin. (inspo linked at the bottom) Katara helped her with the outfit.
"TOPH! IF YOU COULD SEE YOURSELF, DAMN BRO!" Katara squealed. "SOKKA IS GONNA DROOL OVER YOU!"
"Oh my god, Sugar Queen calm down! We have to go!" Toph says.
Katara and Toph grab their bags and phones and head downstairs to see Aang and Sokka chilling on the couch, waiting for them. Aang and Sokka look at them and start to blush.
"Alright let's go!" Katara says.
Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Toph get in the car and head over to the Boiling Rock.
Once they get to the Boiling Rock, they meet up with Zuko and Haru.
"Alrighty guys, we're here! Let's do this!" Sokka says.
And with this, they all head inside.
The blasting music, the alcohol, and overall B.O hit them. Toph inhales, "Ahhhh, desperation and body odor!"
"Toph you're weird. All of us are gonna go backstage and get ready, you guys can get front section!" Aang says. Katara and Toph agree and they separate.
Katara sees Suki at the door in a leather jacket black jeans and a maroon tube top at the front. Katara grabs her and brings all three of them to the front. Once they hit the front of the stage, Katara gets a phone notification and sees that Jet texted her.
"Are you here yet ;)" the text reads.
Katara scoffs at the message but responds "Yes I am, where are you?" after she sends the message a taller figure stands above her. Jet snakes his hands around Katara's waists and whispers in her ear, "Hi babe". Katara albeit moved his hands and turned and said hello back.
"Are you excited about the date?" Jet asks.
"Yes, I am! But I think they are about to announce them so shush!" Katara responds.
As if right on cue, an announcer comes out with a microphone.
"GOOD EVENING!" he says. Screams and shouts come from the crowd as he continues. "This performance is going to be by a group of high schoolers who have had a love for pop-rock for a long time! Give it up for Avatar!"
Katara, Toph, and Suki scream. Jet scoffs, jealousy coursing through his veins.
Zuko, Aang, Sokka, and Haru all step out and wave as Haru takes the microphone.
"HELLO BOILING ROCK!" Haru yells. Hollers are heard from a group of people. "Our first song for tonight is going to be She Looks So Perfect by 5 Seconds of Summer, hope you enjoy!" Haru finishes. (*AN~ They're gonna be 3 songs so be ready)
Aang counts them down and Sokka starts off with the first guitar chord. Zuko and Sokka are now both playing the into and start to sing with Haru.

As the song ends, the crowd erupts in cheers and hollers from the crowd. They look down to see Toph, Suki, and Katara being there #1 supporters and are cheering for them as well.

Sokka and Zuko start out the intro and Aang comes in with a few hits on the drums and Haru starts singing.

"Thank You! For our last song, our drummer is going to be singing!" Haru says. Just like that Haru and Aang switch spots. Katara looks up at him and he winks as the song Sex by The 1975 starts. Before Katara could comprehend that Aang just winked the song starts. Katara also notices that Jet left and is now hanging out with Smellerbee but she doesn't care.
Sokka starts playing and Aang jumps in as Zuko and Haru start playing.
And this is how it starts

Katara hears the last line automatically knows this song is for her. Jet had gone off somewhere so she can react in peace and she smiles and looks at him.

At this point, Katara's face was as red as the lipstick she was wearing. Suki looked over at her and nodded up at Aang and smiled. Afterward Suki continued to dance she admired Zuko and his talent.

The crowd erupts once again in cheers for the band as they clear the stage so that the next performers can set up. They all meet up once again backstage.
"I KNEW YOU GUYS COULD FUCKING DO IT!" Toph says.
"Toph's right, you guys did AMAZING!" Suki adds.
"I knew you could do it! The crowd loved you guys! I might have to say that was a VERY good first concert!" Katara finishes.
Sokka, Zuko, and Aang are all blushing and a blubbering mess.
"Since this idiots can't take a couple of compliments from the girls, thank you guys!" Haru says.
Katara, Toph, and Suki all laugh as someone comes over from their school.
"Hey On Ji! What's up?" Aang says.
"First, you guys did an amazing job! Second, my friends and I want to have a party tomorrow night and I was wondering if you guys could do like 1 or 2 songs for us?"
They all look around and nods are shown.
"Cool! Thank you guys!" On Ji said as she went back over to her friends.
"Okay guys! Let's go get some grub. I'm hungry as hell!" Sokka says. They all laugh as they exit the Boiling Rock knowing that this night will forever change their lives.
