*AN~ YA'LL I AM ACTUALLY SO SO SORRY IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY! SCHOOL HAS BEEN KICKING MY ASS AND I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO UPDATE BUT I WAS NOT ABOUT TO LET THIS STORY GO DISCONTINUED! SO MY FRIENDS WE SHALL NOW CONTINUE THIS! btw I don't own alta ;-;
The whole gang headed off to the closest restaurant they could find.
"OKAY PAUSE! Can we just appreciate the talent that Avatar has!" Toph exclaims. "Y'all ate that and left NO CRUMBS!"
They all laughed and Sokka spoke up to say something, "So guys, where are we heading I'm STARVING!"
"Sokka shut the fuck up. That's why we're looking!" Katara laughs. "Lake Laogai Restaurant is up ahead dumbfuck."
Toph and Suki holler at Katara's language and the insults thrown at Sokka.
"Katara, that's not very nice…" Sokka mumbles.
"Can all of you just shut up so we can go eat some food!" Zuko says.
"I agree with Hotman here, I'm so hungry," Aang agrees.
They all head inside to Lake Laogai and wait to be seated.
"Welcome to Lake Laogai-" the lady stops as she looks at Sokka, Haru, Aang, and Zuko. Jealousy bubbles through the girls as they watch.
"Hey! Um- can we get a table for 8?" Aang smiles a charming smile.
The lady shakes her head almost as if she's shaking her thoughts.
"Okay cutie! I'm Meng and I'll be your server today, let's head to your table," Meng says. Aang smiles sheepishly as he rubs the back of his neck. Meng sits them down and starts to take drink orders. With more flirting, she finally finishes and goes away. Katara is fuming. How dare this bitch hit on Aang. Then again it isn't fair because she is still with Jet who she hasn't paid attention to since the first time they saw each other at the Boiling Rock so she just sits there with an angry face.
"Hey Sweetness, you mad a girl is trying to take your Aang?" Toph teases.
"Chile- NO! He's not mine but I still- I still am with Jet. He is my boyfriend, so I can't really be jealous," Katara huffs.
Suki's eyes widen and then soften, she clears her throat to get everyone's attention, "Hey Katara? I don't know about that boyfriend part…" she says while pointing across the restaurant. Jet was sitting with Smellerbee while laughing and then before you know it, Jet starts making out with Smellerbee.
Katara couldn't cry. She couldn't. She wouldn't. She didn't love Jet, she was in love with Aang. So why were tears slowly streaming down her face?
"Fuck. Is this happening?" Zuko says.
"It fucking is," Haru says.
"Y'ALL IM BLIND! WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING!?" Toph says waving her hands in front of her face.
Suki drops down to her level and whispers what was going on. "I fucking hate it here," Toph mumbles. "Shit, Sugar Queen are you good?"
All Katara could do was sit there, watching Jet have a smile on his face that she could never give him. "Y-Yeah I-I'm go-good…" Katara's voice cracks at the end.
"This is gonna be fun," Aang says while hopping out of his seat followed by Zuko and Sokka. They walk over to Jet's table and Jet had to take a double-take.
"Fuck. Don't tell me Katara is with you guys…" Jet says with a smirk on his face. Zuko looks back to show Jet Katara being consoled by Suki and Toph. Suki notices and flips him off. Jet smirks as he pulls Smellerbee into another kiss. Once they pull away Jet doesn't have time to smile at Katara because someone's fist has now made contact with his face.
"Damn Aang- I didn't know you had that in you," Sokka says like a proud father.
Aang is still furious about how someone like him had the audacity to cheat on Katara. The Katara that has always been there for him whenever he was going through things. The Katara that was there for fun times with the group. The bubbly, happy, and overall of the sweetest people he had ever met. The Katara that he loved. Aang grabbed Jet by his collar and said, "I'm only going to say this once and I'm going to make myself clear. If I EVER see you're fucking ass near Katara or any of my friends at that, Sokka, Zuko, Haru, and I will not hesitate to hurt you. I physically cannot comprehend why you would cheat on her but if you did you must be pretty fucking dense." Aang drops his collar and whispers, "Shoo~" and as fast as Jet could he booked it out of there with Smellerbee.
"Jesus man, I hate that guy," Aang says nonchalantly and heads back over to the group. "Princess? Are you okay? We can leave and just head back to my place and can order food there?" Aang says as he lowers down to her level with a comforting smile.
"Yeah, I'm okay... But can we leave? I just- I don't wanna make a bigger scene than we already have…" Katara says in a quiet voice.
They all look around to see the whole restaurant's eyes were on them.
"Um- sorry about that… We'll be heading out now! Thanks for everything though!" Aang says as he grabs their stuff. They all walk out into the dark and look up to see the stars. "You guys wanna go to the field while we wait for Gyatso to come to get us.
"Yeah, we could use some peace of mind right now…" Haru says. They all murmur their agreements as they head to the park.
"Aang I could hear you from the table! Bro, you went FERAL!" Toph boasts trying to lighten the mood. They all laugh including Katara and Suki adds, "Yeah I never thought behind the shadows & "against violence" Aang would threaten someone's life like that!"
Aang chuckles lightly, "I mean fair point but I mean mess with my friends and well, you have a deathwish."
All of them laugh and soon enough the reach the empty field. Even though it's dark out and the stars are shining, the air is warm and comfortable. Aang is the first to lie down and look up, Katara is next and lies down next to Aang. Sokka and Toph are next and finally Suki and Zuko. Katara looks over to see Aang looking up at the stars with such curiosity and comfort. She takes a deep breath and looks back up to the stars. Softly, she grabs Aang's hand and holds it in hers. Aang doesn't react but only wraps his hand around Katara's. They both look up thinking the same thing. What does this mean now...
