Happy late anniversary! This was supposed to go up on Thursday. But like I said...I've been really busy.

As the named suggests, Kludd will be taking a test in this chapter.

Chapter 19 The Test

Kludd's POV

One Month Later [Forever Brothers Extra: (does spit take) One Month?!]

It had been one month since I had arrived at the tree...and my flying had gotten much better! [Forever Brothers Extra: Yay!]

I had just finished a flying session with Willow.

"How was that", I asked.

"That was great Kludd", Willow stated. "I think you're ready for the final test." [Forever Brothers Extra: Yes!]

"What's the final test", I asked.

"Just come with me." [Forever Brothers Extra: Intriguing.]

Five Minutes Later

Willow and I arrived at somebody's hollow.

"Lyze", she started. "Are you in there?" [Forever Brothers Extra: Lyze?]

"I'm here", I heard an owl reply.

With that Willow and I walked into the hollow.

In it was an owl (that I assumed was Lyze) and...Soren?

"Kludd", he said happily.

"Soren", I said in confusion. "What are you doing here?"

"Just hanging out with Lyze", Soren said before looking at said person. "Lyze, this is my brother Kludd."

"Ah yes", Lyze said. "The Pure One."

"Lyze", Soren scolded.

"What", Lyze asked. "It's true!"

"Not anymore", Soren stated.

"Whatever", I said. "I'm just here because of Willow."

"Kludd is ready for the test", Willow revealed.

"Is he now", Lyze asked.

"Willow seems to think so", I revealed.

"Well then", Lyze started. "You're just in luck. There's a perfect storm a brewing! Let's go!"

Ten Minutes Later

We flew to the edge of the tree...and there was a HUGE storm!

"Alright", he started. "Let's go!"

"Hold it", I started. "You want us to fly in that?!"

"Scared are you boy", Lyze asked.

"I'm not scared of anything."

And with that...I flew straight into the storm!

Five Minutes Later

Let's just say that flying practice was not going well.

"Stop fighting the wind Kludd", Lyze commanded. "Let it carry you!"

"Are you crazy", I asked.

"Just do it", Lyze commanded.

"Fine", I started.

With that I tried letting the wind carry me...but it just wasn't working!

Soren then flew up to me.

"Don't think about it Kludd", he commanded. "Use your gizzard!"

"My what", I yelled in shock.

"Your instincts", Soren revealed. "Let them guide you!"

"That's easier said then done", I stated.

"Don't worry Kludd", Soren reassured. "If you fall...I'll catch you." [Forever Brothers Extra: Awww!]

With that I looked at Soren in shock.

"Okay."

And so...I closed my eyes...and followed my instincts.

And...it worked.
