Chapter 14: Rei Nago

Surprisingly enough, there WAS a bathroom. It didn't look like yo ur usual modern day bathroom though, it only had a toilet and that bothered Y/N... Obi had shown her where it was while Sesshomaru watched her back the entire time, not wanting him to suddenly lunge at her. Obi told her that bathtubs don't exist in their world, they rely on mostly rivers or natural water sources. She stood before the toilet with an eye twitching, mouth open and eyes narrowed whilst blue lines fell on her head. I...have to squat, to piss...? she asked herself in her head, seeing that odd hole in the floor where it led down into a tunnel. This might as well be a friggin' outhouse... she added, sighed out of defeat and groaned.

Regardless though, she did her business and much to her misfortune, it was clear that her monthly enemy decided to pay her a visit. After she got done, she groaned the entire time; feeling cramps, walking slowly, feeling woozy and holding her stomach. Why didn't I get cramps BEFORE or WHEN I just started?! Not AFTER I was told about it?! she mentally exclaimed and cried, hating the agonizing pain that felt like her insides were being yanked out. Speaking of which, her insides being yanked out, it reminded her of a scene in an alien movie once, where the alien made a large gaping hole in the man's stomach... That alien was sitting across from the man in pain and slowly...pulling out his intestines, recalling that nearly made her puke. (It's true, I saw that in an alien Vs predator I think movie T^T)

"Sesshomaru..." she began, trying to gain his attention and tried to endure the clenching pain. He was near the door to the bathroom leaning sideways against the frame of it and watching her leave in pain. "How can I bathe, if it's too dangerous for me...? Am I just gonna have to stink for a week to repel guys?" Nearly at the verge of puking, she covered her mouth and wobbled over to the table to sit. "As much as I hate it, stinking like a skunk wouldn't be too bad if it meant keeping people away from me.~" she added, smiled faintly and laid her head on the table.

She was new to this whole feudal era living and by the looks of it, he knew that. He looked off to the side and saw Obsidian...with his back pressed against the wall outside of the house and listening in. He growled under his breath and narrowed his eyes, making the batman flinch.

As fast as he could, Obi rushed away from the area and flew up to the balcony. "With you smelling like that and making yourself stink on purpose, it could possibly repel... Go bathe...Rin will join you," With that, Sesshi walked away and vanished from sight. He decided to go keep watch from above, so now he was on top of the entire house on the peak.

Y/N groaned, literally dragged herself lazily off her butt and practically crawled her way towards where the waterfall was at.

Y/N was sitting in the water naked, nothing could be seen under it and Rin giggled, she too was soaking in the water with her. They had a protector just in case someone decided to poke their nose around the corner, cough Obsidian cough. It was soothing, feeling the rushing water and being next to someone she trusted, was releiving. It actually relaxed her nerves and panicked mind, easing her stomach too. They both were up against a couple of large rocks, the water reached up to Y/N's collar bones and Rin's neck.

The scene changed to show a pair of feet walking down a street. Wearing wooden clogs and passing up other several pairs of feet. Soon it showed a man with long white, graceful hair and paper white skin. His eyes glossed blue and his hands were tucked into his kimono sleeves, which were white. His attire consisted of a white male's kimono, that was patterned with red and dark blue flower designs.

His kimono flowed gently behind him as he hummed in delight, making women around him gawk and giggle at his presence. "He's so handsome!" A woman exclaimed and pointed him out, while other men grew envious or some just didn't care.

Something caught his senses though, a human scent combined with something else he couldn't make out. He sniffed the air with piqued interest and lifted a brow. "Odd... Whoever this scent belongs to, I can definitely tell it's a female," He closed his blue eyes and continued smelling, thinking that the woman was either wearing really good perfume or just got out of a really nice spa. Where ever the scent was coming from, he chose to follow his nose and walk towards the said direction. He had a content smile on his lips, giving off a very friendly aura.

A good five minutes of walking and he came across a house where the waterfall streamed down the side off a cliff, he smiled at the sight. "Hm, whoever owns such a place must be very naturistic," He said, chuckled to himself and could smell the scent growing stronger. It was coming from the waterfall... So, he decided to go check out who it was that held such a lovely scent and when he did, he came across a couple of women in the water who were bathing. Or, more like a young woman and a child. Oh my... he blinked with wide eyes, hid behind the large rocks the ladies were leaned up against and listened in. They were giggling to each other, almost having inaudible conversations.

"Really? You've never bathed in a river or anything before?" Rin giggled at the thought and watched Y/N avert her attention with a red face.

"Hey, it's embarrassing to bathe in public...! What if someone sees you or starts spying on you?! Where I come from, we have this thing called showers and bathtubs in the bathroom. That way you can have your privacy and still get cleaned off." she stated with a huff and crossed her arms, still blushing out of sheer embarrassment.

"Well, you can always bathe with me when you don't feel safe enough to do it on your own.~" Rin chirped, showing consideration and care to Y/N, which nearly made the young woman almost cry cause of how much she cared.

She's so sweeeeet! Comical tears streamed down her face in her head and her mouth was shaped like an upside down V.

"Enjoying your bath, ladies?" A deep, clear voice questioned and made Y/N freeze in her spot with wide eyes. Her head darted all around in hopes to find the owner of the voice, as well hiding for safety measures by ducking further under the water. "No worries, I can't see anything. I'm behind the large rocks. I came by because I smelled a rather...lovely scent," The voice said, only for it to gasp when a sound occurred next to the rocks. "The lord of the western lands, what brings you here?" Y/N sighed in relief after hearing Sesshomaru jump in to save the day.

It showed Sesshi confronting the white-haired male, who was smiling with a friendly grin plastered. "Leave, now," He demanded, narrowed his golden eyes dangerously and tucked his hands into his sleeves.

"Forgive me, I was just lured in by a very nice scent. Why is a human here in Mamono City...? And, a half breed female, at that...?" The mysterious man questioned with a frown adorning his pale lips.

"That is none of your concern... Now, leave," Sesshi growled under his breath and stiffed his fingers, preparing his claws in case he needed to give him a warning strike.

"My name is Rei Nago, it's a pleasure to meet our land's lordship. I dreamed of meeting you one day, but I had no idea when I'd ever get to. Ta-ta, I'm going to get something to eat,~" He waved with his hand and walked away, leaving Obsidian's property.

Sesshomaru sighed through his nose and closed his eyes, recalling from Obi's brother AND the Time Corpse, to stay clear of that man; he knew though, that Rei would eventually find them instead while waiting for the owner of that scroll to appear. Jaken was already sleeping on the job, hence why Y/N didn't hesitate to let Rin join in on bathing. "Obsidian, go look for the owner of this scroll," He demanded, pulled out the message scroll from his robes and heard Obi fly down to him from the balcony. Once he landed and took the scroll, the batman chuckled.

"Why, of course. If you were to leave Y/N here with me, how much safer would she be? You seem to have decent control over yourself, you HAVE to tell me your ways.~" He teased, giggled lightly and watched the lordship squint his golden eyes at him. "Alright, I can take a hint,~" He stuck his tongue out playfully and giggled once more, before taking off flying into the sky in search of the said owner.

With that Sesshi turned back around, vanished and returned to his previous spot, leaving the girls there to themselves in peace. Y/N sighed in relief, closing her eyes and lifting herself up a bit seeing that she was hiding before. "Thanks, Sesshomaru..." Even though he probably couldn't hear her, which she guessed he did if you consider his keen sense of hearing, she relaxed once more and let Rin lean her head on her shoulder. "We're safe, Rin," A soft smile graced her lips... That was...until it hit her. SHIT, THAT WAS REI NAGO?! Her eyes snapped open in shock and gulped, fear was riding up her spine now...
