It's based off a fanfiction called silent snow by toothlessturtle21, it's about mute Zane, you might wanna go read that story first, it will help you understand. Tonight, was the night, Jay had been begging sensei for a day off for a while and after hours of begging he allowed it for an evening, but the Ninja all think inside that sensei wanted to come. They decided to go to megger monster amusement park because who doesn't like an amusement park. Kai was intent on winning against Lloyd at a game, Lloyd was intent on winning against kai at a game, Sensei was intent on the Ferris weal, Nya was intent on proving sensei wanted to come in the first place, Jay was intent on showing Zane the wonders of the theme park, Cole was intent on keeping an eye on Jay because he didn't want him to get too carried away and Zane was intent on not letting Cole get carried away on not letting Jay get carried away on showing him the wonders of the theme park.
When they got there Jay practically shoved Zane towards the roller coaster (Zane looking a little uncomfortable) Cole following behind. Nya and Sensei strolled in the direction of the Ferris weal leaving Kai and Lloyd. "You ready, ready to be destroyed?" Kai grimaced looking Lloyd in the eye, but Lloyd just smiled, "You can't you destroy something you are destined to protect. I on the other hand can do what I like." Kai frowned but then laughed," Ha, bring it on!" And with that they both ran off to the nearest game stool.
Meanwhile, Sensei and Nya were on top of the Ferris weal, "So, ya think you can fool me huh?" Sensei just chuckled. "Uhu yep you so wanted a night out didn't ya." She raised an eyebrow. Sensei smiled a warm smile and said on a calm voice" You speak with bravery, yet your words give no impact." Nya just huffed, "Don't play wise with me, Sensei why did you not let us here until now, somethings up!" Sensei sighed and said, "Some things are better left unsaid." Nya just frowned "Hmph."
At the roller coaster Cole, Zane and Jay were about to take the biggest drop, Jay was bouncing up and down with excitement while Zane was quite nervous and shaking a little and Cole looking at the drop in awe. Are you sure this is a good idea? Zane signed trying to keep control of his shaking hands." Yeah, trust me this is going to be AWESOME!" Jay said grinning enthusiastically. Cole looked up at Jay and mothed WHAT?! Zane looked like he wanted to sign something else but before he could sign a thing the roller coaster zoomed vertically downwards causing Jay to scream with Joy, Cole to scream with terror and Zane hold on extremely tight to the metal bar in front of him. "Wasn't that great, Zane! Zane?" Jay asked looking at Zane who was breathing heavily and staring straight in front of him wide eyed. "Um dude I think you broke Zane." Cole said waving his hand in front of Zane's eyes. Zane eventually brought himself to let go on the bar and he was about to sign something when yet again he was interrupted by the vast drop downwards...
At the game stools Kai and Lloyd were playing the test your strength game Lloyd hit it as hard as he could, and it just hit the bell and smiled at Kai then he gave him the hammer "Watch and learn newbie." Kai stated clearly full of himself. Then he hit it and it did the same as Lloyd "What?!" they both said in unison." Outa' my way!" Said a girl looking about the same age as Kai who shoved Lloyd and Kai to the side. He then she hit it so hard it almost broke the bell "Now that's how it's done." She grinned then winked her eye front of the two boys looking at the bell, both of their jaws dropped. "Wha-what just happened" Said Lloyd still looking at the bell. Kai ignored him and said "Lets- lets go check on the others."
"Sensei listen, we're a team and we promised no more secrets and I see there is something up." Nya whispered not making eye contact with Wu, but he did not break. "Fine, if you're going to be like that then be like that it's not like I care about our mental health," she chuckled miserably ", you know with all the stress of secrets and the trust issues." Sensei looked at her then back to the glowing lights in the theme park, "I had a vision," Nya looked at the emotionless old man ", something is coming, something that will change our lives, we cannot disturb destiny so I did not tell you and the ninja, for I do not know myself if the vision was going to bring joy or apart and depression." Nya sighed and thought she mustn't say more about it, "Le-lets go find the others." So together they walked off the weel and towards the games isle.
Jay, Cole and Zane had just gotten off the rollercoaster Zane looked a little traumatized but in a way he kind of enjoyed it but he still never would do it again, Jay was still buzzing with excitement and Cole was trying to calm down Jay but failing. Jay was energetically running about like the toddler and saying, "Let's go again then let's go see the flying chair ooo and then-" He was interrupted by Cole grabbing him by the shirt and then saying" Will you please calm down! Let's go find the others I am starving." They wondered off towards the food hall hopefully to find the others which...eventually they did." Ugh their you guys are, we thought we find you where food was." Kai said crossing his arms. "Yeah yeah now let's get something to eat!" Cole said pointing towards the restaurant. "Hear hear!" Jay cried.
They all started to walk to the restaurant when Zane stopped in his tracks and signed to Jay, I'll catch you up later. Jay looked confused but then nodded and Zane ran off. "Guys Zane just went to do something." Jay said watching Zanes figure disappear. "Probably doing some Zane stuff let him go." Lloyd said before entering the restaurant with the others. "Yeah I mean as long as he knows what he is doing...he'll be fine." Cole said a little worried. Nya and sensei Wu exchanged glances.
Zane, meanwhile, was buzzing with anxiety as his sixth sense went wild so he ran to the car park and there were few cars (most people probably walked there) so he sat on the pebbles and starred at the moon. He closed his eyes and did some meditation for maybe three minutes when he heard a strange scrabbling noise which at first, he ignored but then he heard it again. It sounded like the stones being rustled. He got up and there it was again, he looked around and figured it was coming from behind one or the cars. He slowly and silently crept towards the car a little nervous but not as nervous as curious.
At the restaurant they had just ordered their drinks and were now chatting: Jay was talking to Nya about the invention they were building slightly flustered and stuttering now and then, Cole and Kai were seeing who could chug their lemonade the fastest while Lloyd was watching and laughing and sensei Wu was looking out the window wistfully. "Hey Jay," Lloyd asked recovering from his laughing fit ", how long did Zane say he would be?" Jay just shrugged and said, "I don't know, he just said he'll catch up later." Jay sipped his iced tea and realized Zane could be a while "Let's leave him for a bit longer then we can go find him." Cole took a breather and then said, "Wait but what about the food?" Everyone looked at him judgmentally.
Zane inched closer to the back of the car the noise grew louder as he got closer. He closed his eyes and took a breath this was it, he slowly turned around and his eyes met a little girl she wore a grey slightly mucky hoody, and the hood was up he couldn't see her right eye because she was side on, crouching digging in the stones or something. She had leggings that were slightly blue and white, she wore black mangy trainers that were clearly too big and black gloves. Her hair was curly and brown with a red tint, it looked quite short, her eyes were mostly brown but also there was some streaks of green in them, her cheeks were covered with freckles a lot like Jays and she had two bumps on her head. And she was thin very thin like Zane when he was starved, maybe thinner.
The others were in the restaurant getting a little worried about Zane. "Should we go find him now?" Kai asked slightly impatiently. They all looked at each over (besides Wu) and sighed. They did not answer Kai but kept inn silence, of course Jay was one to break the silence "We should go." The others nodded and Cole said to sensei "You stay here." He wasn't really listening, but he knew Sensei knew. They didn't split to avoid confusion and they headed the completely wrong direction to where Zane was.
The girl froze sniffed the air and closed her eyes then face towards Zane revealing a scar across her right eye. She was half blind. Her pupil was white in the middle it was kind of weird, but Zane was not one to judge. They both starred at each over Zane didn't know what to do. Then Zane smiled and she smiled a little back a little weirdly not letting her teeth to be shown. He didn't know how to tell her he was mute so he did what any mute person would do: sign language: do you know sign language? She paused for a moment then nodded. Zane was surprised even some of the ninja didn't know sign language. I am mute he signed. The girl got up from her crouching, so she was standing straight she was slightly shorter than Zane and signed Me too.
