After the defeat of Vilgax by Ben Tennyson, his father, grandfather and cousin, peace could now reign on the planet and not know anything about the tyrant alien. The next day, Ben went to the school where all his classmates who already knew about his secret (Cash and JT probably had told them), but Ben was not worried about that since he would avoid making excuses to leave class to be a hero. Upon entering his classroom, he noticed that his cousin Gwen was in the same room as him.
Ben: "What are you doing here, Gwen?" –He said surprised.
Gwen: "I got into this school, my dad got a job at Bellwood" –she said.
Ben: "Oh no" –he said something puzzled.
Gwen: "I know I'll shine in this class" –she said as she looked ahead.
At that, a strong tremor shook the school, causing Ben and Gwen to look towards the windows only to see Dr. Animo alongside his mutants approaching the school.
Ben: "After eliminating Animo and his mutants" –he said firmly.
In that, Ben's teacher was close to the young hero.
Teacher: "It's time for a break, don't you think, Ben?"
Ben: "Yes" –he said as he got up from his seat and turned the circular tube of his Omnitrix to choose an alien - "I'll be a Hero!" –He said as he raised his arm to smash the circular tube to become an alien.
Outside of school, Dr. Animo began to get Ben's attention.
Dr. Animo: "Ben Tennyson, come out of hiding and face off against Dr. Animo!" –he shout out loud.
At that, a flash of bright greenish glow in the school windows only for Ben, now transformed into Cannonbolt, to step out of the doors and see Dr. Animo face to face.
Ben (Cannonbolt): "Okay, Animo, let's get this over with" –he said.
Dr. Animo: "This time my mutants will destroy you, Tennyson" –said determined.
In that, the mutants began to go to Cannonbolt who did not hesitate for a second and began to ball and spin quickly and hit the mutants. After a few minutes, Cannonbolt defeated the mutants and only Dr. Animo was missing.
Dr. Animo: "Miserable Tennyson…" –he said as he ran towards him.
Cannonbolt braced himself and began to dodge the blows Animo was giving them, Cannonbolt also gave them a few blows and none of them would stop to stop. Cannonbolt rolled into a ball to push Animo backward and then bounce him off each side until Animo lost control of his riding machine and was ultimately defeated.
Ben (Cannonbolt): "Okay, Animo, it's time for you to go back to jail"
At that moment, the Omnitrix began to sound beeps indicating that time was up and Ben was human again. All the boys at school watched in amazement at what happened and Ben could not contain a smile at his heroic act and on his way to school after his work as a hero.
Ben: "I think I'm going to get used to this" –he said as he went back to school.
