Genos arrived just in time in front of the Hero Association's doorstep within City Z, this day was as cloudy as the night before and just the same silence blanketed the area where he left from. The cyborg passed by workers within the building as he boarded the elevator, moving up to the floor where the room he was supposed to be in was. He had told Saitama that he was going be absent likely for the next hour or so, if the monster he was called to deal with is tough enough for him to spend more than 10 minutes with.

"What was the purpose of summoning me here? "Genos asked as he stepped inside where a man with messy black hair and facial hair stood with another man, this time with neatly combed brown hair and a pair of thick lensed glasses. Both men wore suits and the cyborg recognized both of them, as he had seen them whenever he was called in inside the building.

"Ah, Demon Cyborg, welcome. " the bearded worker greeted, earning a sideways look from the other as he bent down looking at something on the holographic table. "Just get on with the point. " Genos warned, the pleasure of wasting time isn't with him when he and his master has to go to another errand together in an hour. He doesn't want to miss it.

The bearded worker merely sighed before speaking, "There is another Level Demon Monster that's appeared in City Q, it is possible that you are the only one who can defeat it. " there was a slight pause when the bearded worker fixed his tie, "We have already sent others but they are not responding, most of which are A-Class. " the man said and Genos nodded, quickly passing the door and launching himself off when he reached the exit.

"If A-Class heroes cannot defeat this beast then I could only assume that it's weakness is fire. " Genos thought to himself as he was nearing the city, it had been 20 minutes since he had launched off. Thus 40 minutes more until his master and he will go in their scheduled errand for the day.

When Genos had arrived at the scene, he saw nothing but destruction within the area he had landed in, walls and foundations caved in and pipes were sprung out from the ground, leaking everything it carried. There was nobody around so he guessed that they might have been evacuated from the vicinity, he could only hope for that. Then, he heard a rumble and the ground shook beneath him, it seemed like an earthquake; he was only mistaken then when he barely avoided a large projectile being thrown down at him. It looked like a vine but thicker and as big as a metal beam.

The sky seemed to roar above him and he saw the giant...thing. It looked like a tree but the leaves bigger and wider, it's appendages vine-like with sharp looking razors plaguing around it. It was almost comical as it is big, as tall as an apartment complex.

The cyborg refocused his attention towards the monster, now knowing why he was called in to the event. He later found that the vines the monster sported was hard like steel, but surprisingly easy enough to burn when he tried. The hero dodged an offending attack from his enemy, launching himself using the jet beneath his soles and jumped just high enough to reach the monster's torso— harming it with his powerful attacks.

The monster roared, it wasn't sentient enough to have human speach, but it didn't take a rocket scientist to know that the beast wanted to kill the cyborg; slashing one of the young man's legs when unfortunately he didn't see it coming. Genos began to fall but catched himself just in time when he was about to hit the ground, he was desperate to stand so he picked up a metal rod that looked strong enough to hold him and pushed it in where his leg used to connect. Though he was careful not to hit any important wiring he only needed the rod to be inside his stump leg deep enough to keep him balanced.

Hopping slightly he dodged again another attack from the beast, although sloppier this time due to the obvious replacement of a mechanic limb— though he did manage to send out an offending move just as he kept himself standing, burning the thick vine to nothing but ash as soon as it met with his ires.

Genos grinned but was unexpectedly swept from his feet, the rest of his lower body parts being flown by a block. The monster seemed to laugh at his demise but the cyborg kept his arms up in front of him— the young man glared at the carved but strangely moving face of the monster, and focused on it's face. Thick fumes of steam began to exert from the cracks of what was left of him, the machinery in his arms hummed and glowed with intense heat as did his torso.

Genos narrowed his golden eyes at the beast's face as a determined line formed on his lips. The monster only roared once again and he said:

"Incinerate. "

The last thing Genos remembers is the color red in front of him when he woke that morning, being met with the same equipments he always awakens to after a successful but unfortunate bout— thin and thick wires alike hung from here and there, with more machines really. He was in Dr. Kuseno's lab again.

"Ah, Genos, you're awake. " the familiar voice of the old man interrupted him from his stupor, bringing him back to reality when he was processing data in his mind. "Dr. Kuseno, " Genos' voice malfunctioned a bit, but steaded enough later on as he completed his data routine, "What happened? " the cyborg asked non-committally, looking at the large bowl cut man whilst the other only shook his head.

"You defeated the tree monster you had been sent to terminate yesterday but you shut down just as it burned. A drone from one of the heroes of the association brought you to me. " the old man explained to him as he pressed a button to help the other up, Genos' body had been completely repaired, it just need a bit to let the plasma run through him better, much like blood to a normal human.

"Was the drone one of Metal Knight's? " Genos looked at the other as he tried to make his mechanical body move, and just as any other time, it was slow but it was working. "I suppose so, " the old man pauses, looking at the cyborg with a small frown "though I only advice you to not stick any more rods into your legs when you can't walk, I almost couldn't find the damage! " Dr. Kuseno scolded the blond and the cyborg only nodded in understanding, but hid his embarrassment nonetheless.

"Oh, and about Metal Knight, the association didn't actually specify whose drone it is that picked you up from the battlefield— the drone that brought you back to me was indeed the S-Class', however. " Dr. Kuseno added and stepped back when he saw that the blond began to stand up, which he didn't fail and moved as he did yesterday. Genos only nodded at that and began to thank the other, the elder man waving it off and began on continuing his work with his other machinery.

After some time the cyborg had already left the doctor's lab and had began on his way back home in their apartment in City Z. Genos knew he missed the errand he and his master was supposed to do, maybe he could apologize and maybe the other would be merciful to him again as he did the other time. Saitama was a strong man, he knew that quite greatly and understand each of it's deadly consequences as he himself had witnessed the first time he met the man. One deadly slap and the only remained of it's pathetic being was the huge splatter of blood, still could be seen today on one of the buildings in the abandoned zone in City Z.

"I'm home, Sensei. "Genos greeted as he entered the small apartment, as he took off his shoes he noted that there was indeed no one inside of the place when he noticed that the other didn't answer as he usually does whenever he came home from being repaired. "Ah, Saitama-sensei might be out again. " the cyborg thought to himself, hiding his slight disappointment that the bald man wasn't there to greet him.

He did take note that the place had been a bit messier since he went out, there was a couple of plastic wrappers scattered about here and there and the mangas his master had been reading was messily laying on a pile— face down with it's pages still open. With a sigh, the cyborg only began to work, cleaning what the bald man had left behind when he was gone.

The procedure of cleaning the apartment to squeaky clean was quick, just as he always does. He had finished sanitizing the kitchen and the bathroom, mopping up the floors and doing whatever laundry is left— which was not much, only a pair or two of the other's t-shirt and pants. Genos looked at how the place had gotten a bit proudly, surely he will make his master proud by how clean he made their apartment too.

When the blond heard the door creek open he was sure and ready to burn whatever culprit dares break open their home, his incinerators ready and about to open fire until he saw the disinterested face of his master. "Oh, Genos— you're here. " a small smile grace the other's lips, "Welcome home. " the bald man said as he put aside his shoes, ruffling the other's head as went past him.

"Ah, you also cleaned up the apartment, that's great. " came the satisfied voice of his master.
