AN: Okay so I originally planned to go back and proof read all the chapters of my stories so I could fix my grammar mistakes, as well as make small adjustments to improve the quality of each chapter and hopefully improve the flow between chapters. I still plan to do that eventually probably in the next month or so, I just had to get this chapter out first. This story is one of my favorite to work on mostly due to the constant feedback, encouragement and suggestions I get from all of you that read it.
Chapter 11"Where the hell am I" Marcus groaned as he opened his eyes only to find himself floating in a black void.
"It seems you have finally awakened" A powerful but noticeably feminine voice spoke, drawing Marcus's attention to what he could only describe as a large glowing glob of energy. "Umm…no offense but where the fuck am I, and who the fuck are you" despite his colorful language his voice contained no anger or worry, but instead genuine curiosity about his situation, which seemed to amuse the white blob.
"Greetings Marcus Kale…for now you may call me Suecra if it pleases you. As for where you are, I'm afraid there's no easy way of saying this but…you're dead.
"You can't be serious, I mean I know I was pushing my body pretty hard with my Aura techniques, but I didn't think it kill me. Fuck Flannery and Sabrina are totally going to kill me when they find out…oh wait" Marcus ruffled his hair wildly in frustration.
"Hahaha just kidding" The Suecra giggled.
"Ehhhh…what the hell kind of joke is that" Marcus yelled.
"A pretty funny one…in my humble opinion. You should've seen the look on your face" Suecra snorted.
"Whatever you say, anyway if I'm not dead where am I" Marcus asked once again.
"Well currently your body is in the med bay of the ship you helped run those Team Magma goons off of-."
"Yeah by getting my ass handed to me, some help I was" Marcus cut her off as he rolled his eyes still bitter about how easily he'd been defeated.
"You managed to keep their third strongest member occupied, I'd say that helped out quite a bit" Suecra continued undeterred. "As I was saying however, your body is in the med bay on the ship and once you fell unconscious I transported your conscious here to this separate space, so we could talk. I must admit I'm very interested in you Marcus, you're pretty special after all."
"Why, I'm not that special, sure I have this weird pheromone thing going on and can use Aura, not to mention I probably have to most advanced pair of prosthetic legs in the world, but that's about it" Marcus shrugged.
"Sure, those things are very unique, but I was referring to you as a person, you are kind, caring, determined, passionate, fierce, and you're not naïve when it comes to the evils of this world. Trust me I've scoured the entire world and I've only come across a few dozen trainers such as yourself. Strong, determined, and ready to kick ass at a moments notice" Suecra praised. "More so than anything else you're adaptable, just look at the situation you're in right now. Separated from and your body by a mysterious being, waking up in a black abyss I was expecting you have a bit more of a freak out"
"Umm, thanks I guess and being fair I'm mostly to stunned to have any sort of freak out" Marcus scratched the back of his head nervously. "Still though what does any of that have to do with anything"
"Everything…you posses more power than you could ever imagine, and sometime in the future the world will need your power as well as that of others. There are much bigger threats out there than Team Aqua and Team Magma, you'll need to be ready when the time comes" Suecra said cryptically.
"What power, what threats, and when what time comes. Come on lady I'll be the first to admit I'm not the brightest lightbulb out there but you're driving me crazy with all this mystical shit" Marcus frowned.
"I'm afraid I can't tell you...but I can give you a small gift" Marcus cried out in shock when he began to float towards the ball of light. "There are several mental blocks limiting your full potential, I'll release one of the them that restricts your Aura, I'm sure you'll find it useful"
Marcus body suddenly exploded with energy his crimson and white Aura swirling around him like an angry tornado before dying down.
"Wow I feel great" Marcus marveled as his skin almost seemed to be glowing…no wait his was definitely glowing…and slowly fading away. 'What the hells happening now, am I really dying, is she making me vanish…has Thanos collected all the infinity stones'(Sorry had to add that lol) Marcus thought worriedly.
"Be calm you are just starting to wake up…we will speak again Marcus Kale. Until that time continue to grow stronger along with your Pokémon, I'll be watching you". With those last words Marcus entire mind went blank before turning a blind white color accompanied with the feeling of the feeling of his stomach lurking as if he was dropped down a step roller coaster ride.
Back in the real-world, Sabrina and Kairas had been watching over Marcus as he slept for the last two hours, refusing to leave his side. The doctors had told them that he was just suffering from a mild case of over exertion and would recover with some rest, that still didn't stop the teens from worrying about their snow haired friend. He'd been completely unresponsive since he'd passed out and if not for his steady breathing it'd be easy to think he was dead. Sabrina had even gone as far as to try to enter his dormant mind, only to find it shielded from her powers. Even Darkrai didn't have any luck contacting him through dreams which was something that unnerved both teens as they continued to watch over Marcus. It seems they weren't the only ones worried about him if the soot colored anthro Absol brooding in the far corner of the room was anything to go by.
Kairas and Sabrina had sat in near silence after their first few failed attempts at gauging Marcus wellness level. It was a comfortably silence, while they hadn't gotten off on the best foot, they did grow to have a mutual respect. Kairas leaned against the far wall across from the bed Marcus was laying in, while Sabrina sat next to him in the only chair in the room. They had nearly fallen asleep in those positions as they were exhausted themselves. Both had nearly dozed off when Marcus suddenly jerked awake, gasping for air as if he'd just been drowning.
"Holy shit man you okay" Kairas asked doing his best not to seem startled. Marcus opened his mouth to answer but before any words could come out a pair of lips clamed down on his own as Sabrina threw herself over him pressing him back down into the bed.
"You're possibly the biggest idiot I've ever met" She yelled at him half angry and half relieved.
"I'm guessing you haven't met a lot of idiots haha" Marcus laughed though that only made Sabrina puff her cheeks out in a cute pout.
"Yeah he's fine" Kairas rolled his eyes at the display of public affection.
"Nice to see you too" Marcus snarked back sitting up again and cracking his stiff neck. "How long was I out for…wait Bella is she okay" Marcus suddenly asked frantically as he noticed his all his Pokeballs missing.
"The pup is fine…a little banged up but she is recovering at the Pokémon Center now with the others" Absol answered in her usual uninterested tone. Ever since their unintentional bonding she had mellowed out a great deal. While she still had some bitchy tendencies, she had stopped attacking Marcus unprovoked and mostly stopped insulting him. They still butted heads occasionally and sometimes Absol would throw a half-hearted attack at him, but besides that their relationship has greatly improved from what it had been previously.
"Absol you stayed to watch over me, thank you" Marcus said surprised giving her a gentle smile.
"Someone has to make sure no one cuts your throat in your sleep" Absol huffed looking away from him so he wouldn't notice the slight flush in her cheeks. "Anyway I'm tired so I think I'll take a nap" Absol quickly tapped herself on the horn, returning herself to her ball.
"All Tsundere that one is" Darkrai giggled from Kairas shadow which morphed into her shape against the wall behind him thanks to the angle of the sun through the window in the room.
"I agreed to let you stay out as long as you didn't draw any attention to yourself" Kairas chastised his legendary.
"Come on…it's only you three no one else will find out" Darkrai stated.
"Still you never know who could be listening" Kairas whispered back.
"Fine" Darkrai conceded defeat and allowed for Kairas to return her as well.
"As for how long you've been out it's only been a few hours" Kairas finally answered.
"Oh, well that's a relief. How did everything go on the ship" Marcus asked.
"Mostly just as you planned, I managed to sneak my way past most of the grunts and used hypnosis on a few of them that were guarding a large door. That's where I found the Pokémon they were holding hostage, I sent the information to Tech along with any possible breach points a had come across at the time".
"Same here, they had most of the researchers being held hostage in the control room, bridge, or whatever the hell you call it on a ship. There were too many to take on at once, so I looked around for possible breach points nearby and once I relayed the information back to Tech it was only a matter of time. Once the Swat members started storming the place it was easy enough to use my Pokémon to help separate the Team Magma members that didn't try to run from the researchers and subdue them" Kairas reported.
"It was pretty hectic in the initial few minutes of the siege but once things settled down we noticed that no one had spotted you, so we rushed back to the sub bay. What happened in there, by the time we got there, and the smoke cleared, the sub was gone and the place looked like a hurricane had hit it" Sabrina asked.
"Well…-" Marcus spent the next few minutes telling them all the details of his battle with Flare and Ember.
"So, Team Magma has members that are that strong huh…just when we thought we drove them off looks like they had planned ahead even better than we thought" Kairas said a bit bitter about how things had turned out.
"I wouldn't sell yourselves short just yet. Thanks to your efforts we managed to recover all the researchers and Pokémon without any injuries on our side. That's something to be proud of" Officer Jenny walked into the room. "It's good to see that you're awake…I've been beating back news crews left and right. All of them are hoping to get an exclusive interview with the 'Slateport City Hero's'" Jenny chuckled.
"They can't seriously be calling us that" Marcus groaned.
"Sure are, once word got out that a couple of trainers were mainly responsible with driving off Team Magma the crowd nearly doubled" Jenny shrugged. "That being said I'd like to you to give me your Pokedex for a second if you don't mind"
"Sure, but what do you need it for" Marcus said handing it over.
"I'm adding your I.D to the Hoenn police database. This will allow you to directly contact any of the other officer Jenny's should you have the need, as well as help with any official investigations that you may come across if so wish" Jenny explained.
"Sounds pretty cool" Marcus said taking his Pokedex back seeing a badge emblem next to the white researcher's coat emblem on his personal trainers I.D with identified him as a junior researcher.
"Now that you're awake I'd recommend going to see Tia, she's the lead researcher and captain of this ship. She told me that everyone is very thankful for your assistance in their rescue and seeing as how you are an anthro researcher yourself, she wanted to give you a tour of the anthro's the keep on board and allow you to study them to your hearts content. Last time I checked on her she was taking all the Pokémon on board to the Pokémon Center to let them get some fresh air" Jenny paused for a second as her phone went off. "Ugh well looks like I still have a job to do…make sure to stop by the station before you leave the city" Jenny waved as she walked away.
"Easy are you sure you should be moving around so soon after waking up" Sabrina put her hands on Marcus chest as he went to swing his legs over the side of the bed.
"I'm fine I've been resting for the last couple hours" Marcus assured. Throwing the blankets off, he went to stand up, only to hiss in pan as soon as he put weight on his legs. It felt like liquid fire has just been poured in his veins as every nerve lit up with pain.
"Are you okay" Sabrina quickly tried to see what was wrong. Marcus had gone pale and was shaking slightly, eyes welded shut as his veins pulsed angrily.
"Pill..bottle..bag..small pocket" Marcus managed to grunt through gritted teeth. Understanding what he was asking Sabrina quickly rushed over to his large rucksack and unzipped the smallest pocket. Inside was a rather large bottle of prescription pills. She quickly read the description noting that they were for intense bouts of pain and to be taken regularly every few hours. Her eyes widened slightly when she read how many milligrams each pill contained. She quickly rushed back over to Marcus handing him a single pill and a glass of water that she had gotten for him earlier in case his throat was dry when he woke up.
Marcus quickly downed the pill and glass of water, his features slowly began to soften as his breathing slowed down and he finally opened his eyes seeing Sabrina staring at him a mix of emotions crossing their bond.
"I may need a lot of things from you love, but pity will never be one of them" Marcus managed a weak smile though his voice held a hard edge to it, he took a steadying breath before standing up again. He winced slightly but otherwise showed no other signs of discomfort. "Okay now…let's go I need to check on Bella and since the Pokémon and researchers are at the center as well it will be the perfect time to actually do the job I'm getting paid for. Not like I'm not excited to see what Anthro's from other regions are like, maybe I can test some of them in battle to see if they have any unique moves." Marcus voice returned to it's normal tone as did his skin.
The three teens made their way to the main entrance of the ship, which had been blown open when the swat members breached in. Sabrina and Kairas felt a little awkward as they walked slightly behind Marcus who was whistling an easy tune with his hands behind his head. They had both been unnerved by his sudden bout of pain, not because it shocked them that he would be in pain at times given his condition, but because he was usually so upbeat that it was easy to forget the tragedy he'd experienced only a few years prior. Neither one of them was sure of how to initiate a conversation that wouldn't upset Marcus, they both wanted to make sure he was okay, but knew that asking in a poor manner would only make things worse.
As if sensing their discomfort or actually sensing it in Sabrina's case, Marcus stopped and sighed. "Look I'm not going to drop dead any time soon. I've been able to take care of myself thus far and it's not like I've never miss a dose of meds before. It sucks but I'll be fine. The last thing I want is for you two to be walking on eggshells around me."
"Sorry man we just want to make sure you're okay is all" Kairas said rubbing the back of his head.
"I'm fine…seriously if you're that concerned we can have a battle later today to prove that you're still no match for me" Marcus smirked. Like a switch flipped Kairas mood did a 180 from concerned friend to passionate rival.
"As if you barely tied with me the last time we battled, and I've gotten way stronger since then. I'll crush you without even trying" Kairas yelled.
"Yeah maybe if you use your mistress" Marcus smirked when Kairas jaw dropped and he turned bright red.
"Bwhahaha you should see your face~ Oh shit" Marcus quickly took off as Kairas rushed after him screaming obscenities and threatening him with bodily harm.
"Boys" Sabrina huffed blowing a strand of hair out of her face and rolling her eyes. "At the very least they're entertaining" She cracked a small smile before walking after them.
Marcus continued to outrun Kairas until he made it to the blown apart entrances where he skidded to a stop, shocked by what he saw. Kairas stopping next to him a second later and Sabrina almost a minute after. "This can't be for us right" Marcus asked in disbelief.
"Officer Jenny said the crowd had doubled but I wasn't expecting this" Sabrina gasped.
"Got that right" Kairas agreed.
Down below them was what had to be at least half the city waving and cheering for them as they started walking down the ramp to the pier. Men, women and children of all ages yelled and clapped for them, screaming praise and thanks for their heroic deeds. Some even had homemade signs and banners that they were waving around. Nervous about all the attention they were getting the teens could do little more than smile back and wave politely at the crowd as they continued to descend the ramp. Luckily for them the police were still maintaining a perimeter, so they weren't mobbed as soon as they made it down. Though Marcus and the others quickly found themselves surrounded by a Handful of news crews all requesting an interview with him in the others. "Sorry but I'm not sure we're allowed to give away exact details of what happened. I'm not against an interview but I'd rather wait until Officer Jenny gives her stamp of approval before saying anything I'm not supposed to" Marcus said politely doing his best not to be overwhelmed by the maelstrom of questions.
It took the trio nearly twenty minutes to make it through the crowd, all three of them shaking countless hands, receiving pats on the back, even signing a few autographs before they were finally free of the overly thankful crowd. "Geez that took longer than expected. Is this how Gym Leaders feel when they get mobbed by their fans" Kairas said exhausted, he'd never liked being the center of attention. Both boys glanced at Sabrina curious about her answer.
"I wouldn't know most people are wise enough not to irritate me. When I was forced to make appearances on behalf of the Pokémon League I was always dealing with small groups of well behaved trainers." Sabrina shrugged. She was well aware of her reputation as one of the more non-approachable Kanto Gym Leaders. Though her reputation wasn't nearly as bad as LT. Surge's. That guy was just a straight up asshole and at times unnecessarily cruel.
"That reminds me did Brawly and Watson ever show up" Marcus asked.
"Yeah they were there for the initial breach and round-up but left as soon as the police had the situation under control. Wattson is still back logged with challengers and Brawly had to rush back to Dewford since there was an emergency at the Pokémon Center there." Sabrina explained.
"I Hope it wasn't to serious" Marcus voiced his concern with Kairas nodding in agreement.
"I'm sure he can handle whatever it is, he's a Gym Leader after all, all of us are held to certain standards" Sabrina said nonchalantly.
"I guess you're right" Marcus picked up the pace as the Pokémon Center came into view. Kairas parted ways with them at the road right before the center insisting that he needed some sleep. He was camped out right outside the city and promised to give Marcus a call once he woke up. Marcus and Sabrina waved him off accepting his reasoning at face value before continuing to the center. As soon as he walked into the door he was tackled to the floor by his entire team save Absol and Bella.
"Master you're okay" Lilith and Angel cried as they rubbed her face into his neck, with Goodra clumsily trying to pull them off which only ended up with her falling on top of them.
"Easy girls I'm fine just needed a little rest is all" Marcus assured.
"I tried to tell them that you'd be okay but they can be so stubborn sometimes" Goodra finally managed to free Marcus allowing him to stand back up and dust himself off.
"Thanks girl I owe you one for always looking out for them…I guess that makes two things I owe you for" Marcus reached up and rubbed her head causing her to mewl softly at his touch. "How's Bella doing" Marcus asked.
"She's healing nicely another day of rest and she'll be back at one-hundred percent" Goodra answered.
"Good to know keep an eye on these two whi~"
"Excuse me you must be Marcus Kale, trainer and Junior professor in Anthro studies under Professor Birch" Marcus turned to eye the woman who interrupted him. She was taller than he was standing at about six feet even with a curvy figure that was barely noticeable under her white lab coat. She had short black hair and small rimmed glasses which accented the beauty mark she had on her left check. All in all she was a very good looking young woman who was most likely in her late twenties.
"What gave it away" Marcus asked rhetorically.
"The chances of their being another trainer with an entire team of Anthro Pokémon are very slim. Add in the fact that they are extremely found of you and well behaved not to mention the translator in your ear and it's pretty obvious that you're the one we have to thank for our rescue" Tia bowed.
"Ummm you don't have to bow to me I just helped brain storm a plan with Officer Jenny, not to mention I had plenty of help since Sabrina and Kairas had my back the whole time. I only played a small role in helping you guys out so don't sweat it" Marcus waved his hands.
"Officer Jenny told me you were humble, but you shouldn't sell yourself short. You came up with the plan and you and your friends executed your part flawlessly. Your actions forced Team Magma to leave before they finished downloading all the files from our servers." Tia smiled.
"Do you know what they were after" Sabrina asked seriously.
"They didn't say much, as soon as they were able to take control of the boat they forced us into a different room. I over heard some of the grunts talking and it seems that they were searching our records for some sort of artifacts as well as information on some of Hoenn's native legendries." Tia replied.
"Any Idea what artifacts or legendries they were looking for" Marcus was starting to get curious. 'Team Magma was on a ship full of valuable and rare anthro Pokémon and didn't even try to snag one. What information could be that valuable' he pondered to himself.
"Sorry but unfortunately we have no idea what they were searching for and as for the legendries. I think it would be safe to assume it has something to do with Groudon and Kyoger" Tia stated.
"Makes sense since those two are their unofficial mascots after all" Sabrina chimed in making Tia nod.
"Whatever it is it can't be good, still it's a silver lining that no one was injured, and all the Pokémon are safe" Marcus noted.
"That's true speaking of which, if you'd like I'd be thrilled to have you interact with the Anthro's we have here" Tia smiled.
"I'd like that was well, but first I have an injured Pokémon to see" Marcus excused himself from the conversation. Walking over to where Goodra was keeping Angel and Lilith in check he released Absol. "Keep them in line for me"
"I'm not their babysitter" Absol huffed.
"I was talking to Goodra, can't have you picking fights with everyone after all" Marcus grinned cheekily. Goodra giggled at the look on Absol's face but quickly stopped or at least attempted to when Absol shot her glare.
"Play nice" Marcus chuckled walking away.
"My my I'm surprised you didn't even insult him." Goodra teased.
"He's not worth the air" Absol scowled half-heartedly before leaving to go sun bath.
Marcus quickly found Nurse Joy and asked for directions to Bella's room, before quickly making his way to her. It was no secret that Marcus cared deeply for his Pokémon and for all Pokémon in a general sense. He would've rushed to Bella the moment he woke up if there hadn't been other matters to attend to first. Despite what some trainers thought, he refused to think that loving your Pokémon made them weak, however after his battle with Ember and Flare he realized that his own training methods left much to be desired. While he had no plans of becoming cruel or ruthless when it came to his training, he knew he needed to step things up if he ever wanted to make it to the upper levels of the league. "Bella are you in here" Marcus asked while knocking on the door that should have been the entrance to Bella's room.
"M-Master is that you" Bella barked.
"Of course, who is would it be" Marcus said pushing the door open and shutting it behind him.
"Master are you feeling well"Bella asked in concern.
"Idiot I'm fine, I should be the one asking you that" Marcus was touched by Bella's concern, and sat down on the edge of her bed scratching behind her ears. Bella couldn't stop a small moan on pleasure that escaped her muzzle and blushed in embarrassment. "Nurse Joy said you should be back to one-hundred percent by tomorrow" Marcus said having made sure to double check with the pink haired nurse just to make sure Goodra wasn't being overly optimistic.
"Yes, so I've been told" Bella said softly. The two sat in silence for a while, both knew what the other had on their mind but neither voiced it.
"We really got our asses kicked huh" Marcus finally let out a small semi-bitter chuckle.
"Yeah I was quite pathetic wasn't I, I'm a failure" Bella gritted her teeth looking down in shame.
"Hey, look at me" Marcus suddenly pulled Bella's muzzle, so she couldn't look away, unshed tears developing in the corners of her eyes. Marcus leaned in and kissed her allowing their aura bond to bloom lighting the room in soft purple. Bella tensed at the sudden contact as well as the flood of emotions but quickly gave into to it as he master's warmth enveloped her. "You weren't pathetic" Marcus breathed breaking to kiss and touching his forehead to Bella's. "Just because we lost doesn't make you a failure, so what we lost. We're going to lose again and again no matter how hard we train. There's no way for us to be prepared to everything imaginable…and that's a good thing. Every lose will make us stronger, every opponent we face will teach us something new. We are never going to be invincible no matter how strong we become and I'm glad that we won't be otherwise life would be fucking boring" Marcus said passionately.
"We lost but that just gives us more motivation to train harder" Bella barked her body burning with the same passion that filled Marcus.
"That's right" Marcus grinned. "Being depressed isn't going to get us anywhere"
"Right…besides if we hadn't been pushed so hard during our battle, we might have never been able to use 'Aura Sync' in combat" Bella said excitedly.
"So, you do know what happened when you seemed to get a sudden increase in power" Marcus had been wondering what the hell had happened.
"Yes 'Aura Sync' is a technique that can drastically increase a Pokémon's strength similar to Mega Evolution. Under normal circumstances only Pokémon that are sensitive to Aura can accomplish this technique with a skill Aura user. However, because of your strength as an Aura user I believe that you may be able to use this ability with any Pokémon you share a deep bond with" Bella explained.
"Wow that could be really useful down that road, we are bond to run into stronger trainer capable of using Mega evolution and it will be nice to have something to even the score" Marcus was floored that his Aura could be that powerful. "That settles it starting tomorrow we're all going to train harder than ever before" Marcus said with conviction.
"I can't wait…I'm going to get stronger. Strong enough to beat down anyone that dares to call me a pup" Bella howled. Marcus sweat dropped he was starting to think being called a pup so much by Absol might have given Bella a slight mental condition.
"Haha I'm sure you will in the meantime however, I think you deserve a reward. I was never able to properly reward you for evolving and after battling as hard as you did you've more than earned it." Marcus smiled seeing Bella's ear's perk up and her tail start wagging excitedly.
"Master I already know what I want for a reward" Bella said shyly.
"Oh really what is it" Marcus asked curiously.
"You" Bella lunged forward tackling Marcus down on to the bed shoving her tongue into his mouth in a rare show of aggression. Marcus quickly retaliated his hands squeezing her tight plump rear. "Right let's play towards our strengths" Marcus nodded. "Let's use Agility and Hone Claws to even things out".

"That's not going to work this time" Marcus eyes sharpened. "Lilith scatter and bombard Vaporeon with Shadow Balls from all sides." Marcus yelled.
"It's over for you" Lilith growled launching a storm of Shadow Balls from her multiple copies that now surrounded Vaporeon. There was nothing Vaporeon could do as she was engulfed in an explosion. Having never experienced the joys of pleasures via herself or anyone else Marcus could already feel her quivering and panting harder as he barely pushed his tongue past her outer folds. As Marcus striped down to nothing before wrapping himself in a towel. He got the shower running and set the temperature before returning to the bedroom to release Nyx. "The couch isn't as big as the one back in the hotel but it's better than nothing" Marcus said.
"It's fine" Nyx said her eyes lingering on Marcus half covered body for a few seconds longer than she meant. Luckily for her Marcus had already turned to go shower. 'He does keep himself in rather good shape' Nyx quickly shook her head to rid herself of the small blush that had adorn her cheeks.
"Hey Nyx, would you come here for a second" Marcus yelled from the bathroom.
"Why" Nyx yelled back. Why did she need to come into the bathroom where he was undoubtedly nude and cleaning himself.
"Just come here I want to talk to you about something…please" Marcus added.
"Ugh fine…but if you do anything perverted I swear to Arceus I'll cut it off" Nyx warned. She made her way to the bathroom and pushed open the door before leaning against the frame figuring she was close enough. The shower was blocked by a colored piece of glass, so she couldn't see inside…not that she wanted to.
"What did you think about Flare and Ember" Marcus asked knowing Nyx had been able to sense the battle.
"You were hopelessly outclassed. That girl and her Pokémon were probably around the level of a weaker-elite four member. You had no chance of winning. Even today against that Tia girl…you would've loss if she had been using Pokémon actually trained for battle" Nyx said honestly.
"I still have a long way to go. I need to train harder, be smarter when battling and more creative. Tia's Whirlpool, Ice Beam combo nearly ended the fight right there" Marcus scowled.
"It did…almost your quick thinking prevented that from happening. As much as I loathe to admit it, you're adaptable, you think quick on your feet and your extremely creative. Those are traits that will help you to grow stronger" Nyx said begrudgingly.
"Thanks…Nyx I need your help. You're the most experienced Pokémon I have, I know you might not want to battle for me but at least help me train the others" Marcus pleaded.
"I'm not good at holding back" Nyx said softly after a few minutes of silence.
"I don't need you to" Marcus said seriously.
"Fine…it's your funeral" Nyx scoffed.
"Thank you" Marcus sighed in relief before shutting off the shower opening the door a bit to reach for a nearby towel. Seeing him struggle to grasp the Towel that was folded on the nearby counter Nyx rolled her eyes before going over and grabbing it.
"Here Arceus you're hop-gahh….mphm" Nyx went to hand Marcus his towel only for Marcus to try to lean further out and grab it at the same time. Marcus however slipped out of the shower landing on top of Nyx who slipped not expecting for him to fall. The result was Marcus landing naked on top of her his hips between her legs and their lips smashed together.
Quickly realizing what happened Marcus scrambled tried to scramble to his feet only for Nyx's iron legs to lock him in place. "Where do you think you're going…PERVERT" Nyx growled as she charged a Hyper Beam.
'Arceus have mercy on my soul' Marcus prayed before he was engulfed in an explosion.
AN: Okay well that was chapter 11 what did you all think about it. I tried to make up for my slow updates with two lemon scenes and a battle scene. Absol and Goodra got nicknames and you saw Nyx has started warming up to Marcus although I wouldn't say she exactly friendly towards him…yet. Anyway there was a lot going on in this chapter I promise that everything will be explained in due time. I plan for this story to be absolutely massive I mean serious it's at over 70,000 words and Marcus isn't even halfway through the Hoenn League. Also I've gotten a handful of request for a lemon scene between Marcus and a female mid-night Lycanroc, having recently started playing ultra moon I have to say I'm definitely a fan of this idea, and want to know what everyone else thinks. Also I've got a bit of a reward for anyone who can guess the actual identity of the ball of light the Marcus talked to. If you guess it correctly I'll partner Marcus for a lemon scene with a female human or pokemon of you're choosing…within reason. No legendary's are permitted as that would just ruin the slow build up im trying to accomplish, unless they take the appearance of a human, sort of how latias can.
