Team Natsu along with Gajeel, he tagged along on a lot of their jobs unless Levy asked him to go with her, just finished a S-class job. It was to take out a pretty big Dark guild threatening a nearby town.
"Wendy, you take Lucy, Erza, and the Exceeds and check out the cells" Natsu said.
"Sure" the 5'5 bluenette nodded then turned to the girls "Lets go". She headed through the door that led to the dungeon with the Celestial Spirit and Requip mages following behind the Winter Dragon Slayer. The first ten or so cells were either empty or had human skeletons in them. But once they turned the corner and looked into the first right cell 17-year-old Wendy saw someone she never would've guessed.
Her hand flew to her mouth. She took a step back and muttered a few Draconic words in shock. She didn't even hear the girls and Exceeds ask her 'what's wrong'. Wendy was quiet for almost a full minute before she screamed, "Natsu, Gajeel, get down here!"
A few minutes prior
Natsu, Gajeel and Grey gathered up the members of the Dark guild and tied them up in the main room.
When they heard Wendy's scream the two Slayers shared a look before they took off through the halls, Grey kept up as best he could. When they rounded the corner and saw Wendy Natsu immediately asked, "Wendy what's wrong". However, Wendy didn't answer, she just pointed at the cell in front of her. When the boys looked into the cell Natsu and Gajeel froze in shock.
"Impossible" Natsu mumbled while Gajeel stayed silent.
The person in the cell was a dark skinned teen girl with purple hair, she wore tattered shorts and T-shirt. On her right wrist was a metal cuff and chain connected to the stone wall of her cell.
Natsu melted the lock on the bar door and ran up to her. Wendy finally snapped out of her shock and followed him in. He broke off the chain while Wendy checked her over. She let out a breath, "She's alive, just malnourished". The girl muttered something, but Wendy was the only one to catch it.
"What she say" Natsu asked.
"She said 'Jay and Max" Wendy said, "There's probably others alive down here".
"Gajeel" Natsu looked at the Cave Dragon Slayer.
"I'll look. Lily, Happy come on" he told the male Exceeds, then ran down the hallway.
"Natsu let's get her out of here" Wendy said. The Solar Flare Dragon Slayer picked the girl up and carried her to the room with the Dark mages. He set her on one of the tables away from the mages.
With Gajeel
Gajeel used his 'Seismic sense', an earth bending technique, to try and find the girls friends. He stopped in front of the cell he felt life in.
"Cats" Happy questioned when he saw the two brown and white cats in the cell.
"Exceeds" Gajeel corrected.
"How can you tell" Lily asked.
"I can sense magic from them, similar to yours" Gajeel used his metal bending to break the lock and gently grab the two unconscious Exceeds and headed to where he felt the others were.
Natsu looked at the door when he heard footsteps. He relaxed when he saw his boyfriend, Happy, and Lily come through the doorway.
"Find anything" he asked as Gajeel and the Exceeds got closer.
"Just these guys" he gently lied the two thin cats next to the girl.
"Exceeds. They're probably hers" Natsu hummed.
"We need to get her to the guild and Miriam (Porlyusica)" Wendy interrupted.
"Alright, (turn to his team) you guys go back and inform the client the job's done" Natsu said.
"What about you guys" Lucy questioned.
"Me, Gajeel and Wendy will take her and her Exceeds back home. You guys meet us there" Natsu explained.
"Carla, Happy, Lily, you guys stay with them" Wendy said.
"Aye sir!" Happy said.
The six of them left to go back to town. Once they left the Slayers called for their dragons. Rivin, Zhel, and Tatsu landed in front of the old fortress. Gajeel settled into his saddle on Zhel with the injured girl in front of him. Wendy cradled the girls Exceeds in her arms.
"You two fly ahead, I'll catch up" Natsu said as he got on Rivin.
"What are you doing" Wendy asked from Tatsus' saddle.
"I'm gonna fly around and try to find Llora. She has to be in the area" he said.
"He's right. Let's go kid" Gajeel said.
The three dragons took to the air, Zhel and Tatsu flew toward Magnolia while Rivin and Natsu circle around the fortress. They used 'Dragon sight' to try and find any medium dragon sized heat signatures.
"Natsu, you see that. In that cave" Rivin said through his mind link with his rider. Natsu looked to where his dragon was and saw a heat mass the size Llora would be.
'Let's check it out' he said. Rivin landed outside the cave entrance. A growl emitted from the cave when Natsu stepped down after Rivin lowered his side (like Drogon did for Dany). Natsu made a light and slowly made his way inside. In about five feet the light illuminated a purple dragon with light purple markings, horns, and eyes. Both males instantly recognised the dragoness.
"Llora" Natsu said softly. The growling stopped, "Llora, it's me Natsu, remember". Her pupils slowly changed from slits to round.
"Natsu?" she purred. He nodded and reached to her with his right hand, that had the mark Rivin gave him. She sniffed his hand, "Natsu!" she screeched happily, rubbing her head against his chest. He laughed and hugged the dragoness' head.
"Good to see you too Llora" he giggled and led her to Rivin, "Come on, let's get you home". Llora tilted her head to the side, "Home?"
"To Magnolia. We've been there for the past few years" Rivin explained, lowering his right side to make it easier for Natsu to get in the saddle.
"Cool. But I can't fly, my wings are too weak" Llora said sadly.
"You can ride on my back" Rivin offered.
"You sure" She asked.
"Yea, you're small enough that it won't bother me"
"Okay" she gave in and climbed on Rivins' back and lied down.
It didn't take long to catch up to Tatsu and Zhel. Gajeel heard the sound of beating wings behind them and looked back to see Llora asleep on Rivins' back.
"You found her" he smiled.
"Yup. But she's too weak to fly right now" Natsu said.
It took about ten minutes for them to get to the guild. Natsu peeled off to take Llora to the healers on base and get Miriam.
Most people looked up when the doors opened. Gajeel and Wendy walked in carrying the girl and two Exceeds. The two ignored everyone and went straight to the infirmary. Laxus, who was sitting with his team, and Cobra, who was at the bar talking to his girlfriend Kinana, shared a look before they followed them. When the door closed behind the two 22-year-olds, Natsu and Porlyusica came through the main doors and headed to the infirmary.
"Natsu" Makarov said. The 19-year-old said something in Draconic to the old healer before turning to Makarov, Porlyusica continued to the infirmary.
"Natsu, my boy, where is the rest of your team" the master asked.
"Back with the client" Natsu crossed his arms over his chest. Makarov hummed.
"Who was that girl" Natsu tensed up before he answered.
"An... old friend. (closes his eyes and takes a breath) Her name's Kallie" he turned back around to join the others.
"What's so special about her" some random member asked. Natsu stopped, "We thought she was dead for the past 12 years".
An hour and a half later the rest of Team Natsu returned. Erza, of course, asked Master where the Dragon Slayers were.
"They're still in the infirmary with Porlyusica" he said.
"Did you figure out who the girl is" Lucy asked.
"She seems pretty special, givin' how they reacted" Gray threw in.
"Yes. Her name is Kallie and she's a childhood friend" Kinana said, wiping a glass behind the bar.
"Did you find out anything else" Erza asked.
"She was supposedly dead for the past 12 years" Kinana said.
"12 years!" Lucy said shocked, Kinana and Makarov nodded.
"Wait Kallie, I remember that name" Carla said, "Wendy told me about her. She lived with them and the dragons"
"What happened" Lucy asked.
"Wendy said 'She was killed when she was three. Her dragon parents, Pollux a Forest Dragon and Gabrina a Gravity Dragon, vanished after she was killed" Carla said.
"The girl was only three! What kind of monster kills a three year old" Lucy said in horror.
One week later/Natsu pov
It's been a week since we found Kallie. She and her Exceeds have been unconscious the whole time. Me and the others haven't left the infirmary either. Sting and Rogue arrived the day after we found her. Those two have been sharing one of the beds, as have me and Gajeel. Wendy got her own bed. While Laxus and Cobra have been guarding the door, taking shifts.
The only ones we let in, other than the Exceeds, were Kinana and the Thunder Legion. Ever and Bix didn't stay more than an hour at a time.
A groan brought me out of my thoughts and from looking out the window. I just thought one of the others just groaned in their sleep, but when I looked at Kallies' bed I saw her moving. I sat on the edge of her bed and waited. It took another minute or two before her eyes sleepily opened.
"Hey Kallie, can you hear me" I said gently. Her purple eyes fell on me.
"Natsu" she whispered, her voice horse.
"Yeah, it's me" I smiled. Her eyes suddenly widened.
"Wait, Jay, Max" she tried to get up.
"Easy Kallie, they're fine. They're resting, and so should you" I said, gently pushing her back down. She mumbled 'fine' and went back to sleep. I joined Gajeel in bed and slept the rest of the night.
In the morning me, Wendy, Kinana, and Freed made breakfast, like every morning. I made food for Kallie and her Exceeds. The three woke up at about 7:00, thirty minutes after Mira opened the guild for the day. We spent the day catching up, getting to know Jay and Max, and them getting to know Laxus, Cobra, Freed, and Kinana.
After about a month of Kallie, Jay, Max recovering, they were healthy. They decided to join Sabertooth, along with Kassy, a Crystal Blossom Dragon Slayer we met a few months ago at the GMG, and her green Exceed Jule. The 16-year-old girls became good friends quickly.
Jesus this took forever. Irl the whole story is about 8 pages.
On another note plz give me ideas for one-shots plz
